Majatran Union Selucia Refugee Assistance Mission, or MUSRAM, is the Vanukuian answer to the upcoming genocide against Hosians in Selucia. This resolution will transform our national PONAC mission into a MU endorsed rescue force to welcome Hosian refugees from Selucia. The MUSRAM fleet will welcome all Selucians fearing religious or political persecution in Selucia and give them temporary housing in Vanuku and other yet unspecified Majatran nations.
PONAC Patrol Fleet, to be transformed to MUSRAM fleet with addition of other MU vessels.
- Dorvik-class aircraft carrier VSS "Wrnuke" (mothership)
- Five States-class frigate VSS "Banstill"
- Five States-class frigate VSS "Cornelis van Zanten"
- Zeehond-class submarine VSS "Zeehond"
- Bommelaer-class supply ship VSS "Keizer Johannes"
- Schoorvesten-class minehunter VSS "Engel"
- Verhamelen-class destroyer VSS "Cornelis van Zanten"
- Verhamelen-class destroyer VSS "Zuyden"
- Five detachments of marines assigned to destroyers, frigates and minehunter.
The addition of other ships are welcomed but not mandatory.
MUSRAM will also operate offices in Cildania so as to assist the refugee and immigrant situation there and provide a network of support for Cildania. These operations will fall under the oversight of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and the naval portion of this mission will fall under joint Council of Majatra and Department of Humanitarian Affairs oversight.
Further, no MUSRAM affiliated vessel or contingent can use lethal force except when protecting refugees on the high seas or when acting in self defense.
Resolution 03
Given the current situation in Selucia, the Council of Majatra gives the following actions to attempt to prevent civil war and greater regional instability:
1. The Council orders an arms and weapons embargo with Selucia until the situation has stabilized and all trade with the government of Selucia in arms is forbidden.
2. The Council reiterates its call for peace and non-retaliatory justice. To that end we ask Selucia to ratify the Charter of the Majatran Union and allow international observers and investigators in to judge human rights complaints and bring justice to whoever committed crimes.
3. The Council also orders an embargo on oil and gas trading to Selucia as well which applies strictly to the military, government groups and the security services.
4. A travel ban is placed on officials in Selucia from traveling to members of the Majatran Union or using persons, groups, or corporations to travel abroad.
The Caliphate votes YEA on the revised Resolution II and on Resolution III as well. Stronger action is clearly necessary with what we have all seen in media, the situation is deteriorating fast.
