Madeleline Clarke today led a delegation to the HQ of the United Party of Hutori. The delegation included Zade Williams (Liberal Youth Leader) and Grace Fielding (Minister for Education). The group were also accompanied by representatives of the Alliance of Homosexual Nationalists, from the Kundrati Union, Davide Fawecett (Minister for Education) and Lucas de Maybruck (Foreign Affairs spokesperson). It is believed the delegation will meet Louise Wilkinson (head of the United Parties youth wing) among others, to discuss civil liberties, especially launching a campaign for gay rights in Hutori and across and the wider international community.
Arriving on Smith Square Madeleine Clarke issued the following statement:
We come to Hutori today to discuss with long held friends in the United Party the state of civil liberties in Hutori. We especially come with a challenge to the Hutorian Conservative Party who persist with their membership of the 'Heterosexual Union'. A group which seeks to destroy the liberty and freedom of gay people. We as citizens of Terra will not stand by and say nothing about the existence of this party organisation and we are here to work with the United Party and others in Hutori to expose what the HCP stands for
We look forwards to constructive talks and hearing from others in Hutori about this situation...
It is believed that the meeting is the first event in a campaign planned against the small organisation known as the Heterosexual Union. The campaign has the backing of the CfL and will be personally handled by the organisations Vice President, Ms Clarke.
