Dorvish-Kafuri Cooperation Meeting

Postby Farsun » Mon Dec 30, 2013 7:32 pm

Dorvish attendees
Major General (FSS) Ivo Artz, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Dorvik
Admiral Karlmann Bohn, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Dorvik
Adm. Alban Gass, Inspector of the Dorvish Navy and Chief of Staff of the General Staff
Viktor Hofmeister, Director of the Federal Security Service
Andon Vann, Federal Administrator of the Dorvish Stability and Security Group
Lieutnenat General Ilija Andonov, ranking member of the Dorvish Army High Command
Major General Severin Voll, ranking member of the Dorvish Air Force High Command
Dieter Grosse, representative of the Dorvish Oil Company
Radoslav Schult, representative of Dorvish Arms Export

The Dorvish and Kafuri relationship was described by many as odd and interesting. The relationship begun when the Communist Party of Dorvik begun funding ventures into Kafuristan and from there the building of the relationship between the Communist Party and its successors and the nationalist movements there, often led by successor parties and movements. The Dorvish and Kafuri developed a state of the art, sixth generation fighter jet in the DKF-50, the mainstay of both of the Dorvish and Kafuri air forces with the assistance of Trigunia, where many believe the design originated. Through all incarnations of the Dorvik nation, they have always remained supportive and none other than the Social Nationalist have maintained close ties with the Kafuri government, often using the nation as a vacation spot. The Dorvish maintain their only naval base abroad at Pravnova, where the the Dorvish attendees would be arriving in Kafuristan.

Admiral Karlmann Bohn, who was leading the delegation to Kafuristan had already contacted the Kafuri Minister of Defense and setup this meeting. The Dorvish were eager to go back to work in Kafuristan and assist their allies in this adventure. It had been quite sometime since the Dorvish had been to Kafuristan and it was something that Admiral Bohn often wanted to do had he ever rose to the position of Minister of Defense. The Dorvish Air Force group had landed at the airstrip in Pravnova and had been protected by the Federal Security Service, the delegation was a massive collective of security and military officials who would be meeting with the Kafuri government at all levels. The motorcade was protected both by the Dorvish Federal Security Service and the Kafuri military.

They arrived at the primary place of the meeting, one of the government buildings. The whole pomp and ceremony of taking pictures and shaking hands was not much for the military but did it at the behest of the government of Dorvik, to show their ties to Majatra. After all the ceremonies and pictures, they all sat in a room across from one another, prepared to discuss their future relationship.

Kafuri attendees:
Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty, Co-Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council of the Majatran People's Republic of Kafuristan
Captain Nasib Muhammet, Co-Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council of the Majatran People's Republic of Kafuristan
Lt. Col. Suhayl Samara, Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on State Security and Defence of the Majatran People's Republic of Kafuristan (Minister of Defence)
Maj. Faraj Mohammed, Deputy Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on State Security and Defence of the Majatran People's Republic of Kafuristan (Minister of Internal Affairs)
Lt. Col. Hamid El-Ghazzawy, Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on Foreign Relations of the Majatran People's Republic of Kafuristan (Minister of Foreign Affairs)
Maj. Najib al-Faizal, People's Representative for the General Intelligence Directorate
Capt. Abdullah al-Wantuni, People's Representative for the State Security Service
Hassan al-Nour, People's Representative for the National Oil Company

The atmosphere in al-Kasraj has been tense for days as the Revolutionary Armed Forces prepared for the historic visit by a high-ranking Dorvish delegation. It has been quit some time since Kafuristan and its Revolutionary Government had an official visit from foreign dignitaries as the Revolutionary Movement advocates an isolationist policy. However, the Revolutionary Government couldnt refuse a request for a meeting from the Dorvish Minister of Defence as Dorvik is Kafuristan's oldest and most loyal ally.

The Dorvish delegation was met with full military honors at the Pravnova Naval Installation and greeted by Lt. Col. Suhayl Samara, the Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on State Security and Defence, and several high-ranking officers from all branches of the Revolutionary Armed Forces. As the motorcade left for al-Kasraj, the capitol of Kafuristan, they where greeted by thousands of ordinary Kafuri's waving Dorvish and Kafuri flags and chanting pro-Dorvish and pro-Revolutionary slogans. The scenes where displayed in every town and village on the way to the capitol city.

When the Dorvish delegation arrived the People's Palace, the former residence of the deposed Kafuri monarch, they were again met with full military honors and this time greeted by two of the Co-Chairmans of the Revolutionary Command Council. After some hand shacking and picture taking the Dorvish delegation were given a short tour of the People's Palace before being guided to the meeting room.

After both delegations sat down Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty, one of the three Co-Chairmans of the Revolutionary Command Council and seen by many as leader of the Revolution, addressed the meeting:

"Your Excellencies, Comrades and i dare say Friends,

It is my honor to welcome our respected guest to beautiful Kafuristan, home of a proud and strong People. The bond between our nations is both ancient and unbroken for centuries and couldnt even be broken by the imperialist enemy. Now this imperialist enemy is again trying to impose its will upon the Free Peoples of Terra and we cannot let this happen. The Kafuri People have risen up to cast down the shackles of oppression in our own country and we will do the same for those oppressed by imperialist pigs. But im drifting off now, let me propose a toast to friendship and the bonds between our two nations before we begin our discussions. To Friends and to both our Nation!

Now Gentlemen, lets discuss how we can increase the cooperation between our great nations and how to stand up to those who oppose us."

The pomp and ceremony was something that the Dorvish were use to back at home, to a degree. "Indeed. Let us begin." Minister of Defense Admiral Karlmann Bohn was the leader of the delegation and sat in the center of the Dorvish dignitaries. "The Kafuri and Dorvish people have long been allies and that is something that we do not want to lose. Mutual cooperation and development of bi-lateral relations. That is something that we must continue, I believe that is the best possible solution to any political problems. Our cooperation must continue by promoting growth and investment into Kafuristan. The Dorvish Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation would like to invest in Kafuri oil companies with your permission of course and would give Kafuristan access to greater free trade with Dorvik. I believe that is something that is favorable to us all. The Dorvish investment isn't going to be limited to the Kafuri oil industry and will be expanded to other facets of the Kafuri economy."

"With that being said in the interest of both Dorvish and Kafuri security, we would like to perhaps discuss opening a military base on Kafuri soil in a role which is constructive to both of us. This is something that we will leave up to you. A military base with the capabilities of training the Kafuri forces as well as assisting in keep Kafuristan protected from foreign invasion."

Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty: "I think we could arrange the opening up of some sectors of the Kafuri economy, including those of Kafuristan's natural resources, to allow Dorvish investments. And although some, more radical, factions within the Revolutionary Movement will disagree with these investments, we cannot deny that Kafuristan's economic situation is not looking good and necessitates foreign investments. We rather have Dorvish investors who we trust invest in our country than to be pillaged by those capitalist swines in Solentia and Zardugal.

As for your suggestion for a Dorvish military base in Kafuristan, i refer to the Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on State Security and Defence.
"

Lt. Col. Suhayl Samara, Chairman of the People's Revolutionary Committee on State Security and Defence, takes the word. "Thank you, Comrade. Indeed, the presence of a Dorvish military base here in Kafuristan would be beneficial to both our nations. It would further increase Dorvik's influence on the Majatran continent and it would be a deterrent for possible invasions by hostile forces. Some of our officers, who are familiar with the Dorvish military and tactics, have recommanded that we petition your Government for the possibility of sending military advisors to assist and advise in the reorganization of Kafuristan's Armed Forces. The purge of criminal and anti-revolutionary elements within the Armed Forces after the Revolution and the executions of most senior officers of the Generals Regime for treason has led to the loss of much military know-how. It would be in the best interest of Dorvik if you could assist us with reorganizing our military."

Admiral Bohn smiled at Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty "Those damn capitalist." Bohn spoke in a joking matter with an un-sarcastic tone. He meant not to offend the Captain who he rather liked thus far. "We understand that entirely and I will work with our Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development to push our best and brightest investors towards the Kafuri natural resources sector as well as the Dorvish government in investing in such ventures. I can assure you that the Dorvish Oil Company would be interested in such ventures here in Kafuristan and I feel that is something that will mutually benefit us all Captain. Mutual benefit for allies such as ourselves is something that we need and must have. Together we can grow our economies and our people's futures." Bohn smiled the Captain deflected the question of Dorvish military presence in Kafuristan and Majatra as a whole as something they wished to have.

Bohn smiled and looked over at Inspector Admiral Gass who nodded at the Minister of Defense to begin talking with Lt. Col. Suhayl Samara. "That pleases us greatly to hear that Colonel Samara. The Dorvish would be interested in opening a base here for our mutual gains. The location and size of which can be handled by the bureaucrats, I assure you we will not impinge on your sovereignty. We are here to assist our most beloved allies in Kafuristan." Gass had visions of a base in Kafuristan and Dorvish influence throughout the world. That was something that him and Admiral Bohn had shared. "As for questions of assistance I deflect that to Andon Vann, the administrator of the Dorvish Stability and Security Group." Admiral Gass nodded at Vann.

Vann smiled at the Admiral. "Thank you Admiral. The Dorvish Stability and Security Group will gladly send our units here to train all aspects of the Kafuri military, we understand from time to time you need to...rid of elements within the military who become reactionary and halt progress. That is something that is to be understood entirely. At the conclusion of this meeting we will have our teams dispatched here and we will gladly assist in re-building the Kafuri armed forces." Vann took a deep breath and eyed the entire panel of Kafuri officers. "Sometime ago the Dorvish government launched a project in cooperation with Jakania that failed due to the lack of involvement from the Jakanian government. Underneath my agency we formed something known as the Majatran Organization for Industrialization which operated out of Jakania. We eventually folded the operations and locations in Jakania are seeking a new headquarters for the organization. The purpose of MOI is to develop the defense industries of member nations. If the Kafuri government wishes to re-start the project with Dorvish assistance we can promise that the Kafuri would begin producing local equipment to rid itself of foreign dependence."

OOC: Sorry for the delay. Work has been a b*tch the last two weeks :D

IC:

Captain Nasib Muhammet, Co-Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council and the charismatic commander of the elite Special Service Unit who had been silent up till now, jokingly replied. "Haha yes, our brothers in Jakania. The black sheeps of the Majatran Brotherhood."Then more seriously. " We are not surprised your project with the Jakanians failed. Besides being incapable of governing their own country, they have been influenced and brainwashed by the Zardic imperialist for too long. Kafuristan is more then willing to provide a location for the new headquarters of the MOI. The idea of self sufficiency is very alluring to us."

(One of Captain El-Mofty's personal adjudants entered the room, walked towards Captain El-Mofty's and whispered something in his ear.)

"Gentlemen,"Captain El-Mofty said, "May i invite you all for dinner now. Our chefs have prepared a tradition Kafuri dinner for our Dorvish friends. Although alcohol is forbidden by Ahmad's teachings, we have arranged that the best wines and several other alcoholic beverages have been made available for our friends from Dorvik if needed."

The Dorvish delegation stood and nodded. "We thank you for the hospitality. We appreciate you having us and now let us feast. The bureaucrats will work out the deals and after dinner we can sign something stating that we agree in principle to such and such. Diplomatic mumbo-jumbo. Let us be friends and family and feast!" Admiral Bohn opened his arms and wrapped his arm around Captain El-Mofty as they walked from the room.
