Hulstria and Gao-Soto invite Indralan Emperor for historic state visit

Miyako, Hilgar and Kien, Hulstria - The dual heads of state of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, Emperor Akihiko of Gao-Soto and Empress Josephine of Hulstria, have issued an invitation to Indrala's Holy Emperor Sima Fangxun to visit the United Imperial Crownlands this year. In what will be a historic visit, the first time an Indralan Holy Emperor visits Hulstria and Gao-Soto since the September Revolution, said a spokesperson for the Foreign Office, Their Imperial Majesties and their government hope to express the normalisation of Crownlander-Indrala relations following the Treaty of Phoenix and Dragon and the marriage between Crown Prince Kurosawa II of Gao-Soto and Princess Sima Ai of Indrala. Staatsministerin Franziska Schäfer, at a press conference, said she was "... hopeful the planned visit would continue the constructive spirit we have seen in our relations with Indrala lately." Specifically, she said the government wished to discuss the continuing situation in Dankuk, the Dovani Economic System project and the formation of closer ties for investment.

Some details of itinerary have also been released. In a departure from usual custom, the Emperor and his delegation will be received at Gao-Soto's capital of Miyako rather than the national capital of Kien, with national dignitaries travelling in for a state banquet at the Imperial Palace in Miyako. After spending another day in Miyako to meet with cultural and economic groups in Gao-Soto, the Emperor would then depart for Kien, where he would be officially received at a Fliederbrunn Palace banquet by Empress Josephine I. The time of the visit spent in Kien would consist of meetings with Imperial Diet members and government officials. The itinerary is provisional - it is still under discussion with the Indralans.
