And this, my esteemed peers, is why one should not be so hasty in such matters. While Solentia is known for its stability, and indeed its natural granite-like resistance to the fickle changes of the opinion of, ah, other peoples, we likewise realize that our neighbors have at times had a propensity, for, what is the elegant way to put it.. tidal changes of nature? Depend on it, often enough these things correct themselves, and it is the burden of those of us privileged with oversight to merely observe and mark the cycles, with subtle corrections made where we must. Cheers, my good fellows!

"My fellow delegates, now that the Kafuri situation has passed we must bring the war criminals to justice for their crimes. To that extent we propose that the Majatran Permanent Court of Justice establish a special Tribunal for Human Rights Crimes in Kafuristan (THRCK) which will investigate and prosecute cases of human rights crimes as allegations and evidence is brought forward."

"Esteemed representatives, this is a ploy to undermine Kafuri sovereignty and take pressure off of Zardugal for their refusal to extradite Razamid refugees. Kafuristan is more than capable of bringing their criminals to justice on their own. Mr Figrote is aware of that, and everyone in this room is aware of that.

If Zardugal is so concerned about justice, mabye they should heed Kafuri demands and hand over the refugees."

"Friends and fellow member nations of the Council of Majatra,

The government of Pontesi withdraws the former delegation and instead seeks the approval of this institution and gathered delegates to send a new delegation, in keeping with our change of government and political policy. Unfortunatley, our past governments saw fit to neglect international relations and therefore, many Pontesians are unaware of life outside of our borders. For their benefit, is it possible for a small summary of this council's actions and discussions to be released?"

"Mister Commissioner,
We thank the Pontesian Government for once again attending the MU and we welcome wholeheartedly the arrival of a new delegation from a new government. Recent Council decisions include sanctions against the now ex communist regime in Kafuristan after it began killing off regime opponents and threatening to storm a Majatran Union complex there despite being protected under diplomatic protocol.
Since then the Council has continued day to day work however there are several new issues for us to discuss here. The strange and unusual circumstances surrounding your war with Endralon are very curious, if you could update the council on that. Then we must craft a response to the Lodamese genocide of Hosians and deal with the leaving of Vanuku and Deltaria"

"Mr Figrote, I defer to the newly appointed Pontesian delegate to this council, Lt. Knstín Wkal'tijokai"

A younger, newer face takes the stand and begins to speak:

"Firstly, we condemn the killing of individuals for professing a certain faith and we, along with many here, call on the Lodamese government to cease violence against it's citizens immediately. Violence never solves anything, and the Pontesian government will do everything it can to stop it.

Which brings us to our next topic, which is the Endralonese declaration of war against us. In communications released by our Premier to various government organizations, it seems that the government of Endralon is obsessed with the possibility that we will take over other countries because we want to nationalize our industry, which is of course, ridiculous. By claiming that we were despotic (or as they phrased it "could become despotic") and under the guise of bringing democracy to Pontesi, they declared war on us and now have sent 10,000 soldiers to invade our shores.

We did nothing wrong and do not understand the actions of the government in Endralon. We ask this Council to, if needed, send us both economic, humanitarian and military aid. But most importantly of all, we ask this Council to reject the illogical arguments behind this invasion and to denounce the warmongering, dangerous and may I say, despotic actions taken by the Endraonlese government."

"Lt. Wkal'tijokai, we have taken into account these actions and we denounced these actions. We do however have good news. We have arranged a ceasefire with Endralonian officials and they are sending a peace mission to resolve this dispute with ease. We will remain vigilant in assuring Pontesian sovereignty is secured and if fighting resumes Zardugal, with the permission of your government, will intervene to help protect Pontesi from foreign aggression.
With that being said, we have appropriated 4 billion ZAR's in aid for your nation to assist in reconstruction efforts and bolstering the capabilities of your armed forces. Much more will be forthcoming once the new budget is written next year."

"My fellow delegates, once again Majatra is in turmoil and we must unite to stave off chaos. Our first concern must be the situation in Barmenia. Their people and government have called for our help and we must act swiftly and with haste. We propose the following resolution to assist Barmenia:

2. The Majatran Peace and Security Council shall oversee the operation and make regular reports as to its progress to this Council.
3. 1,200 civilian observers will be dispatched to Barmenia to coordinate and work with other member nations as to provide humanitarian relief aid to the people.
4. The Majatran Union authorizes the use of limited, proportional and responsible force against the terrorist networks in Barmenia. Such use of force must receive the approval of the Barmenian Government.
5. The Brmék Mujahedin is hereby declared to be a terrorist organization and all members states shall treat it as such and take such actions as to curb its activity in their own country.
6. The Majatran Permanent Court of Justice shall work with Barmenian judicial authorities to ensure those guilty of crimes against humanity, terrorism and other crimes shall be punished is an appropriate manner.

Zardugal pledges 4,000 peacekeepers as part of this mission and 200 additional civilian relief personnel. This issue is of paramount importance and we should treat is seriously.
On another note we must fill the positions of the MU so we can be a successful organization. Once said persons are confirmed, their 5 year terms will start. The following positions must be confirmed soon:
-Secretary-General: heads the Permanent Secretariat of Majatra and is responsible for the maintenance of day to day MU operations.
-Chief Legal Adviser: responsible for advising the Secretary-General of appropriate international legal affairs.
-Majatran External Representative: responsible for the promotion and coordination of a common front on the world stage for the MU.
-Chief Judge: runs and oversees the MPCJ.
-Chief Prosecutor: responsible for helping to handle cases before the MPCJ and related courts."

5 NOMINEES for the Majatran Peace and Security Council:

-Zardugal

"Zardugal nominates the following persons for the above positions:

"Honoured council members, the government of Vanuku has stood by and observed the situation in Barmenia. We are not a nation that approves of interference but seeing as the government of Barmenia requested aid we can no longer stand idly by. Vanuku votes aye on this proposal and wishes to accept the seat of chair of the Majatran Peace and Security Council. Our candidate for the seat of Secretary-General is veteran officer and diplomat Husn M. Grnohekam who has pledged to serve faithfully and with the integrity of Majatra in mind.

The Prefect of the Council has furthermore confirmed that Vanuku is willing to contribute 4,800 peacekeepers to the Majatran Union Mission to Secure Barmenia (MUMSB). The unit consists of mechanized infantry fit for both urban and desert warfare and is commanded by Colonel Giedo Kornelis. Vanuku is further willing to send several advisors to aid the Barmenian government with expertise in counter-insurgency.

I believe that is all we have to discuss right now."
