The Supreme Chancellor Of The People's Republic Of Jelbania, Grzoziklune Jezkrzi, has flown over to the Revolutionary Federated Socialist Republic Of Badara this week, in order to pay his respects to the late Abdul Amari and to meet with the newly elected Delegate Leader Of The Revolutionary Federated Socialist Republic, Usama Safar. Upon landing in Dar as-Salam, the Supreme Chancellor was taken on a tour of the Revolutionary Palace, Assembly Building, Revolutionary Square and the newly built Mousoleum of Abdul Amari. He then returned to the Revolutionary Palace to speak with Delegate Leader Safar about the future of the URSR and the relationship between their two countries and the encircling capitalist powers.

Delegate Leader Of The Republic, Usama Safar;

It is an honour to speak with you, Supreme Chancellor, and it is a pleasure to see you in person. I hope you are enjoying your first visit to Badara since the Revolution. There is much for us to discuss, from the state of the URSR, to the international tensions recently between us and the capitalist powers which seek our destruction. After several Revolutionary attempts failed, in Beitenyu and elsewhere, our two nations are currently the only two Socialist States in Terra. I believe that is an important note with which we can start these proceedings.

Delegate Leader Of The Republic, Usama Safar;

Well, upon hearing the news recently of a Barmenian supported counter-revolutionary army in your country, a discussion of how we can collectively end this threat to the URSR is a good start. After that I would like to discuss Beitenyu and the rise of Thallerism in Majatra. A discussion of the current URSR elections would also be of interest. and finally a discussion of strategy concerning how we can both together defend our revolutions and continue our never faltering forward march towards communism.

Very well. Like you already saw, there is a movement in the country where religious fanatics want to overthrow the current government to put a racist and oppressive monarchy in place. They that they're armed, but I highly doubt that (but we cannot be 100% sure).

Delegate Leader Of The Republic, Usama Safar;

I see. It is certainly possible that the Barmenian government are spreading propaganda concerning the size of the opposition group in question. However, I wish to ensure you that the Badaran Revolutionary Armed Forces are on standby to assist in the case that support is required; of course with GA-URSR approval.

I don't think military intervention will be needed for now. Obviously, it will be needed in the future to dissolve the movement.

Delegate Leader Of The Republic, Usama Safar;

Alright, we will remain ready to be called in if needed. As for the rise of Thallerism and the threat of Fascist governments across Majatra, what is your take on how to combat this threat to the URSR? The Beitenyese and Saridan governments have been carrying out an imperialist invasion of Badara for the past 30 years, with the Badaran Civil War seemingly unending, although far less violent than it was 10 to 20 years ago. What do you believe is the best strategy for destroying these counter-revolutionary movements?

Delegate Leader Of The Republic, Usama Safar;

I'm also interested as to what the chances of a negotiated settlement between your government and the Jeztri are. They are not capitalists, instead maintaining a mainly normadic, tribal culture more akin to pre-slave societies. They seem to produce mainly for use, and although the work isn't carried out by all members of the society, each member is given enough to survive. Their society shares many similarities to primitive communism, rather than feudal or capitalist societies, and although they should eventually be incorporated into the International Socialist Society we are currently building, I do think an arranged settlement with some limited autonomy and certain areas of communal land being granted to their tribes would be enough to prevent continued conflict, instead of the Jeztri society requiring destruction like Capital. Actually as their society would also face destruction with the return of Capitalism, it may be possible to build a United Front coalition with the Jeztri Royal Clan.
