⠀⠀His Royal Highness Crown Prince Khemkhaeng has personally flown to Yingdala, alongside his wife Her Royal Highness Princess Busarakham and various government and military officials, including his father-in-law Air Force Commander Narong Aphichari. The two men were photographed and recorded in the cockpit flying the military aircraft being used for the state visit.

⠀⠀Arriving in Tian'an late in the evening, the Crown Prince was received at the airport by Thanat Pramadwi, Hanzenese Ambassador to Yingdala, in addition to a considerable media cadre. Speaking to reporters, the Crown Prince said he was "honoured to take the hand extended by Minister Gou and the Yingdalan government, and heed the call for closer cooperation."

⠀⠀The Crown Prince answered a number of questions regarding his intentions for the trip, stating that he is seeking to “expand market access for Hanzenese exports”, “secure technical assistance” and to increase the “security cooperation” between Yingdala and Hanzen. The Crown Prince received a less political question from an international reporter who asked which designer the Crown Prince was wearing.

⠀⠀Glancing down at his casual blue blazer and khaki pants, the Crown Prince smirked: "Of course, I intend to dress appropriately when I meet with His Imperial Majesty — however, I hope my dress is not misconstrued as an act of disrespect toward the people of Yingdala or His Imperial Majesty. I simply feel it's undignified to wear expensive and exquisite garments often when my people are hungry."

⠀⠀According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of Hanzen shortly after the Crown Prince's arrival, the visit shall primarily focus on ratifying preferential market access agreements, greater cooperation on the modernization of Hanzen's weak military, and securing private sector investment in the "emerging Hanzenese economy." With regard to the ties between the Royal Family and the Imperial Clan, the Foreign Ministry harked back to the relationship between King Parnchand, the first King of the restored Udomprecha line, and the Tianxing Emperor.

Yingdalan Government Warmly Receives Hanzen Delegation, Announces Breakthrough in Ties

Minister of Rites and Education Gou Zexian, accompanied by His Highness Crown Prince Yu Gong, greeted Crown Prince Khemkhaeng and the Hanzenese delegation upon their arrival and escorted them to the Heavenly Palace after a short visit with the press. As is tradition for head of state visits, the Hanzenese delegation would stay in the inner palace, denoting the warmth and affection between the Yingdalan people and the visiting nation.

The day after the arrival of Crown Prince Khemkhaeng began a private welcome breakfast between the Son of Heaven, members of the House of Yu, and the Hanzenese Royal Family. After the small banquet, the Son of Heaven himself gave a tour of the Heavenly Palace, paying special attention to areas where Prince Khemkhaeng's ancestors may have visiting during the reign of the Yu Dynasty. The real business of the visit began shortly thereafter with government-to-government meetings.

Leading the Yingdalan side was the trio of leaders known as the "three dukes", super ministers considered of higher rank and influence than the cabinet, Grand Preceptor Jiang Ji, Grand Protector Yan Song, and Grand Mentor Ji Hua. Prime Minister Gu Yun and the other cabinet ministers played more of a supporting role, discussing economic, cultural, and defense issues. After the meeting, the Son of Heaven hosted a state banquet to welcome Crown Prince Khemkhaeng and the Hanzenese delegation, as well as to celebrate the historic Yingdala-Hanzen relationship. There, His Majesty granted Prince Khemkhaeng 1,000 bolts of silk and a jade seal for the King of Hanzen.

Following a day of meetings was a day of experiences. The Yingdalan-Hanzenese group toured the National University in Tian'an, visited the Altar of Heaven and Ancestral Temple, and toured the Tian'an facilities of Da Zhan Industries and Da Gong Construction. They also took an opportunity to travel outside the city limits to visit farming communities to witness firsthand the enthusiasm for the Yingdala-Hanzen relationship.

Before the Hanzen delegation moved on to its next destination, the Yingdalan government announced a comprehensive treaty the granted Hanzen most favored nation and preferential status in trade with Yingdala (and vice versa), military-to-military exchanges and security cooperation, the posting of Yingdalan technical advisers to assist with economic development, and the expansion of bilateral investment. To further cement the relationship, it was announced that Crown Prince Yu Gong would wed Hanzen's Princess Samorn in 4744. The wedding would mark a new beginning for Yingdala-Hanzen ties.

Crown Prince attracts Yingdalan investment on final day in the country
After securing most favoured nation status in trade with Yingdala, the Crown Prince courted Yingdalan industry to invest in the Kingdom's
growing economy.

⠀⠀Over the course of three days, Crown Prince Khemkhaeng has celebrated a number of important accomplishments vis-a-vis Hanzen's relationship with Yingdala. First, Hanzen and Yingdala ratified a comprehensive treaty which, as Yingdalan domestic media has reported, "granted Hanzen most favored nation and preferential status in trade with Yingdala (and vice versa), military-to-military exchanges and security cooperation, the posting of Yingdalan technical advisers to assist with economic development, and the expansion of bilateral investment."

⠀⠀During the Crown Prince's time spent with the Son of Heaven, it is said that the House of Yu and the House of Udomprecha grew closer among all levels, from a cordial relationship between the Emperor of Yingdala and the Crown Prince, to a surprise engagement announcement between the Crown Prince's full sister, Princess Samorn, and the Crown Prince of Yingdala. Details regarding the origin and nature of the martial arrangement are sparse, but nonetheless the relationship has deep political implications, with Yingdalan media heralding the engagement as "a new beginning for Yingdala-Hanzen ties."

⠀⠀His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor of Yingdala, presented a substantial gift of 1,000 bolts of silk to the Crown Prince, in addition to a jade seal for His Royal Majesty King Anuman. In the spirit of reciprocity, the Crown Prince presented the Emperor with a significant 58 carat yellow sapphire originating from Hanzen, in addition to two purebred Phra ridgeback dogs. Though the Crown Prince's gifts are valued at slightly less than those from His Imperial Majesty in economic terms, they represent a major expression of the poor Kingdom's sincere desire to collaborate and grow closer to their ancient ally. Despite his young age, the Crown Prince is well aware of the formalities and dignities of Gao-Showan diplomacy.

⠀⠀On his final day on the Jade Island, the Crown Prince attended a business and trade convention hosted by the Phra-Indralan community, one of Indrala's oldest and largest minority groups representing over 2% of the national population. Investment and remittences from Phra-Indralans remain a major part of the Hanzenese economy, and due to their proximity, many Hanzanese workers seek employment in the rapidly expanding Yingdalan economy. Many major corporations attended the convention in appreciation of the Crown Prince's attendance.

⠀⠀In a number of closed and high-profile meetings, the Crown Prince secured a number of large investment commitments for his developing Kingdom, including an FDI of nearly $40m by one of Yingdala's oldest and largest liquor producers, Huzhengjiu, which committed to building a production and distribution facility in Khattaya. Huzhengjiu also committed to assist in the development and provision of clean water infrastructure throughout Hanzen, a key objective of the Crown Prince.

⠀⠀Late in the evening, the Crown Prince departed for Lourenne with a number of victories under his belt. Whatever detractors the Crown Prince might have had will surely be pacified by his effective leadership.

As nobles dance in Eroncourt, Crown Prince pens major agreements
The tour in Lourenne, which began with a ball in Eroncourt, has resulted in major deals made between Lourenne and Hanzen.
5 April 4743

⠀⠀Crown Prince Khemkhaeng arrived in Lourenne in the early morning hours of April 4th; accordingly, he was received by Arielle Banlengchit, Hanzenese Ambassador to Lourenne with little fanfare. After resting at the Hanzense Embassy, Crown Prince Khemkhaeng was received by Her Royal Majesty Queen Isabelle III of Lourenne, who threw a ball in his honour. The Crown Prince capitalized on the rare opportunity to hobnob with the Lourennian elite, condensed in a single ballroom, to hash out the details of a number of trade agreements, expected to be ratified soon by the Hanzenese and Lourennian governments.

⠀⠀In a communique issued by the Hanzenese Foreign Ministry, it was stated that a new forthcoming trade agreement between the two countries will see Hanzen exports gaining preferential and tariff-free access to the Lourennian market, the fifth-largest economy in the world.

⠀⠀In the evening following the ball, the Crown Prince was hosted by the Sun Clan in Lourenne at the Château du Sirault, a vineyard estate in rural Luçande, Lourenne. The Château was originally purchased by Jianxiao Emperor in 4454, and has been passed down to descendents of the Sun Clan's junior branch in Lourenne. At the Château, the Crown Prince conducted a number of meetings with Lourennian officials, resulting in further agreements reached between the two continental nations.

⠀⠀First, in line with the Lourennian government's focus on sustainability and renewable energy, it has been announced that Eroncourt will extend 20,000 full-ride scholarships to Hanzenese students studying engineering and other "green" academic programs per year into perpetuity. Second, the governments of Lourenne and Hanzen have agreed to co-operate on a proposed major hydroelectric project in Eastern Hanzen, to be known as the "Lourenne-Hanzen Friendship Dam."

Image
Above: An artistic rendering of the "Lourenne-Hanzen Friendship Dam"

⠀⠀While more specific details are expected in the coming days and weeks, a broad outline of the funding structure is reported as follows: the government of Lourenne will directly fund nearly 20% of the total $790m project, and extend credit to Hanzen at a fixed 1.5% interest rate for approximately 60% of the project. Hanzen will fund the remaining portion of the project through tax revenue and other sources. It is anticipated that the completed hydroelectric dam will generate about 1,100 MW of electricity, a major stride in electrifying the underdeveloped and largely rural eastern regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, the dam will serve to provide agricultural irrigation and control flooding.

⠀⠀Speaking to reporters on his final day in Lourenne, the Crown Prince said he was "eternally grateful for the fraternity and assistance of the United Kingdom [of Lourenne]," and pledged that he would "pray for the health of Queen Isabelle III and for the continuation her wise rulership."

Crown Prince wins Sekowan hearts in kimono-clad address to National Assembly
On the invitation of Provisional Prime Minister Kono Saki, the Crown Prince delivered a speech the National Assembly of Seko, emphasizing
solidarity with the developing world.

⠀⠀Dressed in a black kimono crafted out of fine black silk gifted by the Emperor of Yingdala, His Royal Highness delivered a speech to the National Assembly of Seko upon the invitation of Provisional Prime Minister Kono Saki. During the speech, the Crown Prince drew attention to the emerging movement from nations such as Indrala, Lourenne and indeed, Seko, which have made the stability of development of Dovani central to their foreign policy.

⠀⠀"I stand before you a humble son of Hanzen, dressed in silk from Yingdala, crafted into Sekowan traditional garments," said the Crown Prince. "Excuse me for the bold assertion, but I believe that as the sun begins to crest the horizon, the light is pained across a renewed and more unified Dovani."

⠀⠀The content of the Crown Prince's speech, and his appearance in kimono, won him great acclaim from the Assemblypeople who rose to applaud the Crown Prince at multiple intervals over the course of the address, in addition to the wider Sekowan public. During the nationally-televised speech the Crown Prince's name, and that of his consort Princess Busarakham, trended across all major social media platforms within Seko.

⠀⠀"As President Seichō has written in her wide body of teachings, 'solidarity is not a feeling of vague compassion or shallow distress at the misfortunes of so many people. On the contrary, it is a firm and unnerving determination to commit oneself to the common good; that is to say, it is an affirmation of our interdependence.' It is with blazing clarity that Her Eminence explains to us that our inherent Bidar-nature is best expressed in service to the least among us," said the Crown Prince.

⠀⠀The Crown Prince further expressed his earnest desire to expand "people-to-people relations," and "the fraternity of our youth," as it pertains to redefining the bilateral relationship between the two Dovanian countries. The Crown Prince stated that "the fellowship of our future generations" is the only long-term strategy to prevent conflict and promote mutual understanding across the continent and indeed, around the world.

⠀⠀While Seko is not a developing country, it is a low-income country suffering from many decades of decline. To this end, the Crown Prince asserted that "all nations which don't currently enjoy high degrees of economic complexity, such as Seko and Hanzen, must practice mutual aid and collectively challenge the hegemony of the advanced global economies." This line received the loudest and longest applause from the Assemblypeople in attendance.

⠀⠀Shortly after the Crown Prince's speech, he met with President Seichō at her temple outside of Nago. There, the Crown Prince and the President reportedly continued the dialogue they began over a year ago, when the President visited Hanzen on return to Seko, particularly with regard to food security and pan-Dovani development. Later in the evening, the Crown Prince went to the Hanzenese Embassy where he is currently staying.
