First, Hanzen and Yingdala ratified a comprehensive treaty which, as Yingdalan
domestic media has reported, "granted Hanzen most favored nation and preferential status in trade with Yingdala (and vice versa), military-to-military exchanges and security cooperation, the posting of Yingdalan technical advisers to assist with economic development, and the expansion of bilateral investment."
⠀⠀During the Crown Prince's time spent with the Son of Heaven, it is said that the House of Yu and the House of Udomprecha grew closer among all levels, from a cordial relationship between the Emperor of Yingdala and the Crown Prince, to a surprise engagement announcement between the Crown Prince's full sister, Princess Samorn, and the Crown Prince of Yingdala. Details regarding the origin and nature of the martial arrangement are sparse, but nonetheless the relationship has deep political implications, with Yingdalan media heralding the engagement as "a new beginning for Yingdala-Hanzen ties."
⠀⠀His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor of Yingdala, presented a substantial gift of 1,000 bolts of silk to the Crown Prince, in addition to a jade seal for His Royal Majesty King Anuman. In the spirit of reciprocity, the Crown Prince presented the Emperor with a
significant 58 carat yellow sapphire originating from Hanzen, in addition to two purebred Phra ridgeback dogs. Though the Crown Prince's gifts are valued at slightly less than those from His Imperial Majesty in economic terms, they represent a major expression of the poor Kingdom's sincere desire to collaborate and grow closer to their ancient ally. Despite his young age, the Crown Prince is well aware of the formalities and dignities of Gao-Showan diplomacy.
⠀⠀On his final day on the Jade Island, the Crown Prince attended a business and trade convention hosted by the Phra-Indralan community, one of Indrala's oldest and largest minority groups representing over 2% of the national population. Investment and remittences from Phra-Indralans remain a major part of the Hanzenese economy, and due to their proximity, many Hanzanese workers seek employment in the
rapidly expanding Yingdalan economy. Many major corporations attended the convention in appreciation of the Crown Prince's attendance.
⠀⠀In a number of closed and high-profile meetings, the Crown Prince secured a number of large investment commitments for his developing Kingdom, including an FDI of nearly $40m by one of Yingdala's oldest and largest liquor producers,
Huzhengjiu, which committed to building a production and distribution facility in Khattaya. Huzhengjiu also committed to assist in the development and provision of clean water infrastructure throughout Hanzen, a key objective of the Crown Prince.
⠀⠀Late in the evening, the Crown Prince departed for Lourenne with a number of victories under his belt. Whatever detractors the Crown Prince might have had will surely be pacified by his effective leadership.
