First of all we would like to thank his Imperial Majesty Wu Fangxun, the Son of Heaven for hosting this summit, we greatly appreciate Yingdala taking on this responsibility and, again, would like to extend our gratitude to you and your people as friends.
Secondly, I speak for the whole government of the Dual Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia in greeting all attending parties most amicably and we are looking forward to productive discourse.
Thirdly, on the points that were raised by his excellency Qiao Zihao:
We completely agree and have nothing of note to add to Diversification, the maintaining of trade through the canals or the respect towards each nations sovereignty.
The Dual Republic has been working towards these goals and is ever dedicated to secure and fair global trade, we invest and economically cooperate in varying positions and even rebuilt the, then destroyed, Midway Channel.
While we do agree that it is each nations sovereign responsibility to protect their own geographic waters, we still would like to encourage agreements such as JAMS which, in our opinion, are very necessary tools towards the goals outlined. A globalized economy can only be organized and protected globally, on this we'd like to especially thank our beiteynese partners.
Lasty we would like to, in this initial statement, share our concerns on point 3 of the agenda.
As it states in the introductionary words, Artania has been ravaged by war in the past decades the impact of which potentially being amplified by miscommunication and the failure of some to maintain diplomatic coherency. In this multipolar world, it is necessary to be trustworthy and transparent, traits not many have displayed in the past decades. We believe that we are experiencing a cold war of soft power and Artania can be seen as a battleground literally and figuratively, due to this we have founded the Bannerpakt, a risk-management and diplomatic platform based on equality and the respect of every nations and peoples sovereign decisions and political processes. We think forums such as these may help to achieve a future security order on which the average person can rely.
