For years Luthorian diplomats and business leaders tried to warm the government and market of Lourenne up to Luthorian business. Today a surprise announcement came out of Lourenne and from the Kindall Shipyards that the Luthorian company won the tender to repair the merchant fleet of Lourenne.

Middenhal, Duchy of Middenriding – The announcement came in early in the morning that Kindall Shipyards had participated in a tender for the job to repair various ships of the Lourenne trade fleet. The large job would mean various jobs and economic opportunities for Luthori and add attention to Luthori’s shipping and repair industry to other nations and companies.
Kindall Shipyards announced that the deal made was for the company to use its ports and drydocks to repair the ‘Green trade ships’ in Luthori. The Lourennains will supply advisors and experts to train the Luthorian company in their special trade ships. In return for a hefty discount the Luthorian company also bought the right to build the ships for themselves and sell them to the Luthorian shipping industry.
Sir Brandon Kindall, CEO of Kindall Shipyards stated in an interview attended by many people in the harbour that ‘’this is a great success for Luthori, for Kindall Shipyards and hard work these workers behind me are doing. They are the very best we have! We will after this deal use the profits to invest in building these new ships, to find other deals and help bring Luthori across the world!’’. The statement was met with loud applause from the workers. Before the press could get their questions in the CEO continued his speech saying: ‘’this will not only mean profit for us, we will find new people to fill in jobs. We will also offer bonus to our workers if they bring these ships in shipshape and Middelhal fashion before our own set deadline. We will show them what Luthori can do!’’. The applause that followed the statement caused the press to again have to wait to get in their questions.
Kindall Shipyards is the largest ship repair and build company in Luthori and has over time been expanding withing various ports in Luthori. Recently the infrastructural investments made by the government in the Duchy of Middenriding, especially around water ways, highways and ports, combined with the growth in trade deals and trade connections have caused a surge in economic activity around the ports. Kindall Shipyards has profited immensely from this, as especially inland watershipping expanded over the last 5 years. Now the Kindall family have set their eyes on being a global competitor in the shipbuilding and repairing market.
The Kindall Shipyards in controlled by the Kindall Family, the fourth richest family in Luthori, who by 5327 estimates had a networth of 26,8 billion LPD. This deal and the years of economic boom will surely cause the families fortune to swell. It is known that Sir John Kindall the brother of Sir Brandon Kindall, has flown over to Luthori to sign the contract and talk details over before the start.
