Kundrati launches new submarines from Zardugal

When Zardugal planned on decommissioning their entire Armed Forces years ago there were concerns over where the equipment and technology gained by the Zardic armed forces would go. The Kundrati Armed Forces, however, were able to gain two nuclear-powered submarines which are reported to operate for years without needing refuel operations - only food and water supplies would hamper any submarine operation. For this major step up for the Kundrati Navy it would be 2 billion LOD from Kasaema over 10 years.

The submarines are classified as fast-attack submarines which could allow the country to operate around the seas quietly and cause havoc to any enemy submarines. The Venetio-class attack submarines are also able to launch torpedoes and potentially missiles though this could not be confirmed by the Admiralty. Fire control systems, reportedly all-digital, alongside sonar and a pressurized water reactor for propulsion are also features of this submarine. The submarines can also carry a total of 129 soldiers with an estimated endurance of 90 days depending on supplies.

A dedicated Submarine Flotilla will be created to house these new submarines in as a dedicated command. The submarines are expected to operate in the Artanian Sea alongside naval patrols and in cooperation with other allied and friendly countries.

National Assembly of Kundrati to launch investigation into Terran Remediation Agency operations in Kundrati

The National Assembly of Kundrati has announced, via a spokesperson, that an investigation by the Parliament's Blue Ribbon Committee will be opened towards the Terran Remediation Agency's operations in the country.

The TRA, which had operated for almost two centuries as the intelligence agency of Beiteynu, has had ties with Kundrati's intelligence community since the Intelligence Pact era of the relationship. Such a relationship notably led to the assassination of Bruahilan Hulanevek and the Kundrati Ambassador to Beiteynu Tomas Masaryk. Rumors have also been roaming around for decades that the Intelligence Pact was later operated by a Kundrati individual which could have resulted in the death of Tomas Masaryk who reportedly had information that could've proven detrimental to the Intelligence Pact's operations with and inside Kundrati.

The investigation is also planned to include whether or not the TRA had any influence in later Kundrati-Beiteynu diplomatic and economic relationships towards the 54th century and whether or not Beiteynu pressured Kundrati to provide compensation to Beiteynuese shipping companies over Kasaema's sanctioning of the failed Trigunian regime of the early 54th century.

The investigation is expected to take a couple of years with hopes that the Beiteynuese would contribute to the investigation. While the participants of these operations have died off long ago it is expected that the Beiteynuese records could offer help to the investigation in Kundrati. Comment has not been provided, however, by Yishelem. However, it could pave the way for future discussions on foreign intelligence operations inside Kundrati's borders.

Kundrati President Klastanavenic to visit Lourenne in historic state visit and announces historic military exercise with Dundorf
In other news:
Kundrati stands with Luthori and Beiteynu on "Haldor problem"
Kunuranorg announces potential price hikes as Kasaema plans on taking over power plants operation
BBB Program: Helpful for the Kundrati economy heading into the 55th century

An unofficial alliance between Eroncourt and Kasaema has been brewing ever since the "triumverate" of international relations (Dorvik, Beiteynu, Lourenne) broke down when Beiteynu, instead of choosing to side with Dorvik over the Beikun Fleet question, sided with their ally Kundrati. Lourenne had also invested into Kundrati earlier with electric car production with the result being that it is now common to see the electric car market filled to the brim with the fleur-de-elis of the Lourennais.

However, the two hadn't had state visits happen much beside a royal tour which visited Kundrati long ago from the royal family of Lourenne. Therefore it was announced that the Kundrati President William Klastanavenic alongside long-time Foreign Minister Marcus Julius Frontinus, set to retire in the next election in 5382, and the long-time Financial Minister Filip Dohnal (also set to retire in 5382) will visit Eroncourt to re-inforce the alliance between Kundrati and Lourenne. It may be possible that a visit with the royal family of Lourenne may happen but this has not been confirmed and is merely rumor.

The talks are expected to be over buying two world-class Leygues-class destroyers made in Lourenne alongside various economic deals from more electric car production and green economy production to rumor of plans for semiconductor fabrication plants to be provided to help advance Kundrati's technology industry - with Dundorf nearby providing silicon such an investment will likely be a success.

Kundrati and Dundorf to conduct historic exercise as sign of firm friendship

In an announcement, Defense Minister (and President) William Klastanavenic alongside his counterpart in Dundorf Gen. Lukas Söder-Kerekes stated that there would be a major military exercise with Kundrati and Dundorf units involving Kundrati's naval forces and Kundrati & Dundorf's army and air force units alongside potentially an appearence by both sides' special forces.

The training exercise, unofficially named "Kundorf-80", will take place later in the year and will go on for about a couple of months though the length is undetermined. The exercise will be a scenario regaring an invasion of Kundrati from the Artanian Sea which will involve the newly-integrated Beikun Fleet (to be merged into the Southern Fleet and to be renamed the Grand Fleet) attempting to halt the invasion before units from the Kundrati Army and Kundrati Air Force, alongside nearby Dundorf Armed Forces units attempting to halt the invasion before reaching either Kasaema or the centre of Kundrati. Special forces units may also be involved as stated earlier to conduct sabotage operations, especially Dundorf's Luftwaffe "I Fallschirmjager Battalion" and Kundrati's "Special Battalion "Lionheart"".

Dundorf and Kundrati had also performed military exercises before to the possible ire of the Dorvish who are also friends with Dundorf. That military exercise, which involved unknown units around the border of Dundorf and Kundrati to attempt to pierce through the border, revealed flaws on both sides which by now have likely been patched up. This latest exercise is expected to be much larger in scope.

Finally, President Klastanavenic made a statement on any possible concerns that may arise from Dorvik:
We know that Dundorf and Dorvik are allies. We do not want Dorvik to think that this exercise means anything involving their friendship, after all allies help each other in the matters of the economy and the military. This exercise is intended to help each other discover any flaws which may be experienced should either of us be involved in armed conflict. Better to have something when you don't need it than to need something you don't have - and I'm proud that Dundorf and Kundrati will remain allies as it benefits both of our countries immensely.
