Is the Junta crumbling on itself?
Shocking news came from Kundrati this morning, reports of the junta advancing in Keita before being violently stopped by the HRA, BHM, Likatonian expeditionary forces, and Loyalists. The resistance kicked out the junta out of the city before pushing them even more by crossing the DL. The city's western and northern districts were systematically destroyed and the city in general looked like a war film of a fictional modern-day siege - bodies being everywhere and very gruesome scenes inside and outside the city as a result of the Junta's bombardment of the city so bad that they cannot be placed into print.
Many soldiers on both sides have experienced major casualties - especially the Junta, which reportedly sent troops from the Kasaema sector to Keita to relieve the decimated units, though with supply hubs on their side sustaining major damage it is unknown if the Junta's offensive into Keita will last much longer.
Our reporters in Kasaema say that the HRA announced through the HPR: "After our glorious victory in Keita, we are starting a bombing campaign against the Junta in Kasaema" as a rain of rockets surgical fell on supply hubs and supply lines destroying them. We asked a soldier his reaction to the bombing: "It feels like Apocalypse, I need to be with my mom rather than witness this horror". It is unknown how many soldiers will participate if there were to be an counteroffensive from Peghonai.
As of the time of writing the Junta has begun to retreat from some of the Keita DL. It is reported that Junta soldiers near Galensk are being sent towards the front in Keita as well. Junta soldiers have also been defecting to the NUG en masse despite the actions of the "Anti-defection battalions" doing their best. Mass surrenders have also been reported in one case in the upper boroughs of Keita from the Junta soldiers - alongside two officers surrendering their entire battalions to the NUG after being promised amnesty if their units hadn't committed war crimes.
The President of Kundrati has stated that his units have begun advancing past the DL and are at this very moment "many miles from the Defence Line". He also warned that the Junta must surrender or "...hell will rain from the skies and nobody on your side will be safe when it comes." As we report, Navy ships and local Extean troops were spotted entering these Navy ships - it is unknown where the final destination is.
