In a historic visit, Prime Minister Yashodhara Kumar landed in the city of Yishelem today morning. Kumar's 3-day official visit to Medinat Beiteinu has been touted as a significant move to expand Maliviya's diplomatic reach within the Majatran Continent. Maliviya's Majatran policy, in the recent past, has been mostly confined to the Republika Deltarska. The sudden shift in Maliviyan Majatra Policy could possibly see Beiteynu emerge as a close ally given its geographical proximity to the Migrant's Pass and Maliviya. Manish Wangchu, Professor of International Policy Making and Diplomacy at the Maliviya-Gaduri Peace University opined that the opening up of a Maliviya-Beiteynu diplomatic channel shall diversify Maliviya's Majatran policy and dismantle Maliviya's dependence on Deltaria. Wangchu agreed that the move may significantly alter Maliviya's position in the Migrant's Pass and South Sea region.
Kumar accompanied by Foreign Secretary Suhas Chanda, will hold a series of bilateral talks with Prime Minister Baruch Lea Tzafrir over the prospect of the new Beiteynu Accord of Diplomacy, Security and Intelligence, and the proposed Maliviyan Airlines. According to some internal sources, Kumar is keen to propose Beiteynu as a possible destination for Maliviyan Airlines. The Prime Minister's Office, however, declined to issue any statements at this time but assured that an Official Press Release with all the details will be issued upon the completion of the visit.
