In a historic visit, Prime Minister Yashodhara Kumar landed in the city of Yishelem today morning. Kumar's 3-day official visit to Medinat Beiteinu has been touted as a significant move to expand Maliviya's diplomatic reach within the Majatran Continent. Maliviya's Majatran policy, in the recent past, has been mostly confined to the Republika Deltarska. The sudden shift in Maliviyan Majatra Policy could possibly see Beiteynu emerge as a close ally given its geographical proximity to the Migrant's Pass and Maliviya. Manish Wangchu, Professor of International Policy Making and Diplomacy at the Maliviya-Gaduri Peace University opined that the opening up of a Maliviya-Beiteynu diplomatic channel shall diversify Maliviya's Majatran policy and dismantle Maliviya's dependence on Deltaria. Wangchu agreed that the move may significantly alter Maliviya's position in the Migrant's Pass and South Sea region.

Kumar accompanied by Foreign Secretary Suhas Chanda, will hold a series of bilateral talks with Prime Minister Baruch Lea Tzafrir over the prospect of the new Beiteynu Accord of Diplomacy, Security and Intelligence, and the proposed Maliviyan Airlines. According to some internal sources, Kumar is keen to propose Beiteynu as a possible destination for Maliviyan Airlines. The Prime Minister's Office, however, declined to issue any statements at this time but assured that an Official Press Release with all the details will be issued upon the completion of the visit.

Beiteynu - Maliviya's new Majatran Ally

Following Prime Minister Yashodhara Kumar's visit to the Medinat Beiteynu, the Maliviyan Parliament decided to ratify the Beiteynu Accord of Diplomacy. As reported in an earlier article, the move has been touted as a game changer in the Maliviyan-Majatran Diplomacy. Although the ratification of the Accord garnered a ultimate consensus in the parliament, some quarters within the rulling party cautioned against joining the Terran Remediation Agency. TRA - is an intergovernmental intelligence agency proposed by Medinat Beiteynu. However, joining the TRA is optional and the Maliviyan government is yet to reach a consensus on the matter.

Following speculations of a rift within the party regarding TRA, a hasty press conference was arranged. Tanmoy Das, the Maliviyan Foreign Minister quashed all speculations -
I urge you all not to believe in such make believe stories, the decision to enter TRA shall only be taken after getting the approval of the Cabinet. We shall soon sit for a meeting and decide on the matter. Further, I am glad to announce the opening up of an air route between Malivia and Beitenyu. We cordially thank the Government of Beitenyu for their cooperation. This marks the beginning of a new era in Malivia-Beitenyu relations. We aim to bring Artania and Majatra closer through the functioning of Maliviyan Airlines. It was not possible without the support of the government of Beitenyu who graciously exempted us to pay any fees or commissions for a period of 50 years starting from 5203.

In a high profile cabinet meeting organized in the city of Kubir, the Maliviyan Government has decided to join Terran Remediation Agency. Prime Minister Yashodhara Kumar herself attended the press conference post the Cabinet meeting.
We have decided to enter the TRA. In an era of globalisation, we can not isolate ourselves from other Terran countries. We believe in a future where all the Terran countries not only coexist but cooperate with eachother, TRA is a welcome initiative in that direction.

Additionally, the Prime Minister conveyed the decision to back Beiteynu in place of Deltaria fo the World Congress SC seat. For some past centuries, Maliviya remained a loyal supporter of Deltaria in the World Congress.

Maliviya's recent political transition to parliamentary monarchy bases on elective monarchial system and the rise of PMPU party with a thumping majority of 53-22 brought the country to a serious crisis. The elected government has already passed and introduced bills that would effectively result in an economic breakdown in the country. On the other hand, the current regime has decided to pull out from all the international treaty isolating Maliviya from the wider Global politics. The Opposition party led by Shubham Saraswat on Monday alarmed that the Country is on the verge of conplete breakdown and only the people could save Maliviya. Rumours are the Opposition party along with certain secret societies that sprang up in the wake of popular protest against the misgovernance is contemplating a coup. However, Saraswat quashed such claims claiming they have people's support and full faith in democratic process.
