Navy deploys to Dovani as concerns of regional instability in Seko rise
May 5503

Image

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - With concerns rising in the region amidst the latest developments in Seko, the Beiteynuese Naval Command has deployed 2 Shahar Fleets in strategic locations northwest and southeast of the region, after consulting with military and intelligence command in Lourenne.

The mission of the Kadima II and Kadima III deployments is to patrol and assess the situation, in case of regional spillover. Both fleets are consisted of 6 warships respectively, including 1 + 1 Nekama-class cruisers which include weapons systems capable of firing Yeudicho intermediary range cruise missiles (IRBM variant).

The Naval Chief commented earlier this morning that this is simply a "precautionary action" in potential assistance for Lourenne.

MOFA comments on naval deployments in Dovani
November 5503

Yishelem, Beiteynu - In a press conference earlier this morning, Lourennais-Yeudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Beatrice Shavit was asked to comment on the previous deployment of the 2 Shahar Fleets that seems to have generated some controversy with certain Dovanian countries.

While we absolutely appreciate the position of the Xsampan Government and extend our gratitude towards their understanding of our disposition, considering that the Reshimat Hara directs us not to maintain active channels with Xsampa, any further communiques will thus take place via Eroncourt's mediation, if needed.

As such, the Yeudi Homeland will absolutely honour its commitment to the mutual defence pact with Lourenne via the Altatepec Treaty.

Our navy continues to coordinate directly with military and intelligence command from the United Kingdom.

Hutorian banks enter the Yesheeva after tectonic securities deal
November 5503

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - Initiated almost two years ago, the purchase of 60B LFR of Beiteynuese debt by the Hutorian Central Reserve Bank also initiated the entry of Hutorian banks in the Yeudish Neset and Beiteynu itself, considering their participation in the securities deal with the Beiteynuese Government, with the Medinat Department confirming 8 months ago the issuance of several "embassy" seals for Hutori's three largest financial institutions.

With construction underway in the Yesheeva in Yishelem, it is expected that Hutori's International Terran Bank, Gold Lion Capital and Royal Hutorian Bank will gravitate towards Ashalon Bank BEIFG - the Canrillaise-backed Yeudish institution - on financial products and Beishalom Group, the bank specialising in the IT industry, taking into account Millard's significant role in the Beiteynuese software scene and Lexington Entertainment's recent interests at expansions.

Millard has maintained a presence in the lobbying district in Yishelem since more than a century ago, after its acquisition of Beigle.

Juhd Shutajb, the Head of the Medinat Department, emphasised on the importance of Bekenial's ratification of the Beiteynuese Framework of Trade & Commerce, to diminish bureaucratic hindrances and help ascertain Hutorian-based commerce in the Neset "as efficiently as possible" across more than 30 countries worldwide.

The Saham has released a memo confirming the deal and is currently reviewing the proposals issued from Aldegar.

Saham assesses trade zone as Baltusian-based trade volumes skyrocket
November 5503

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - The Head of the Saham confirmed this morning the rumours that Tel Bira has been "impressed" by Johnston's movements in recent years concerning Baltusia's expansion of its trade network across 4 continents. While all member states of the Baltusian Free Trade Zone, including Baltusia itself, have been present in the Yeudish Neset for decades, the Beiteynuese Government has been eyeing the agreement as part of what has now been multi-decade negotiations; something of a "quid pro quo dance", according to high-ranking sources.

Although it has the potential of becoming one more supporting pillar for the Neset alongside the Bannerpakt, the LFR, the Vamaj Network and the Equifund, the Head of the Saham was quick to note that outside one endeavour in the defence industry, there has hardly been any other commercial partnership of a notable level on both sides; at least to the point that it warrants Yishelem's consideration to join the other side's trade zone.

"We've danced with one-sided partnerships and alliances in the past, to almost no benefit for the Yeudi People", she commented.

Yesheeva lobbyists have been thus far torn on the benefits of such an agreement.

Medinat Dpt. to defer to Kaliburg and Eroncourt on Anantonese Ocean policy
November 5503

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Although Yishelem has almost never affiliated any government policy or military or intelligence movements with the northern regions of the Anantonese Ocean (excl. Dankuk two centuries ago), with the noticeable geopolitical shift since the war, the ever-presence of the Altatepec Treaty in the post-war era and the recent developments concerning Seko and related fleet deployments, the Medinat Department found it prudent to permanently and officially assuage any past, present or future concerns by either Kalistan or Lourenne, in regards to Beiteynu's position towards the Ananto Strait and the Meridian Strait.

Kaliburg's unchanging policies on the Ananto Strait, even during the war with Lourenne, have established an undisputed historic precedent across the centuries that both of these straits in the Anantonese Ocean are essential to the regional stability and interests for Kalistan and Lourenne, with the latter recently forming its own Comprehensive Accord for the Meridian Strait. Suffice to say, Yishelem more than understands the sentiment, the need and the requested respect of regional policies from the wider international community, considering the Yeudi Homeland's own interests in the Migrant's Pass with Narikaton and Darnussia.

Submitted by the Medinat Department, the Knesset is currently moving forward with the ratification of both accords, also seeking to make both part of the Beiteynuese Government's official guidelines and policies across the entire Yeudish Neset.

BeiGov representatives also confirmed that Beiteynu will continue to honour the existing 1-1 agreement with Kalistan.

PM Kadiyot comments on Beiteynuese-Kundratijan relations
July 5504

Yishelem, Beiteynu - In a press conference earlier this morning, while discussing debt and budget standings for Q3, Rosh HaMemshala (Prime Minister) Eli Kadiyot was asked to comment on the upcoming rapprochement talks with Kundrati, mediated by Selucia.

The fallacies of certain families will become a thing of the past. We need to move forward.

However, we need to address 3 very important topics before we figure out a way to resolve bilateral issues. We have been brothers with the Kundratijans for centuries; we just hope they considered the Yeudi People as such.

First, economic downturns. Certain elements of the financial and defence industries are intertwined; for example, institutions like Ashalon Bank BEIFG and Tomasadyn National have worked together for centuries. Do we address that via the Bannerpakt, the LFR, some other vehicle?

Both of our countries are still trying to recover and the Yeudi Homeland alone cannot pick up the collateral.

Second, security assurances. We need to address the thorns related to JAMS, MSCO and the wider prospects of eastern Artania, including but not limited to vital maritime passages in the Artanian Sea. Kundrati recently joined the NSTO and the CISA. They also ratified the Comprehensive Accord for Ananto by Kalistan, alas, they have not done the same with the Meridian Strait. Didn't they aid Lourenne in the war against us? Should we consider their NSTO and CISA decisions as an antagonising policy? The questions that arise are numerous. Are we expected to sit at the table in good faith before talks even commence?

Third, reparations. Kundrati decided to attack and destroy Beiteynuese assets and kill Yeudi People. One of our oldest allies. While we do have the best intentions at heart to get back to a status of friendship and move towards the future without either side looking behind its shoulder, we simply can't forget what happened.

So, [counts with fingers], economic, security and diplomatic assurances.

The way forward for Kasaema.

Navy deploys 3rd carrier strike group to southwest Dovani
January 5506

Image

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - In light of Seko's mass conscription response to Eroncourt's lobbying in the WDU earlier this month, the Beiteynuese Naval Command confirmed the deployment of Kadima III north of Yingdala, in a move to "establish a reconnaissance and intelligence perimeter" after consulting with military command in Lourenne on "high-priority" threat assessment reports across the Dovanian board.

The Medinat Department declined to comment on the situation in Seko, citing Yishelem's historic stance of abstaining from ideological and other related positions in regards to relations with foreign states; however, a memo stated that "the Yeudi Homeland will stand by the United Kingdom no matter what".

The Kadima III formation of 6 warships, including a Nekama-class cruiser packing intermediary range cruise missiles (variant of Sato's Yeudicho ICBMs), will now extend the 5503 deployments northwest of Dankuk and east of Xsampa in southern Dovani.
