Belgae Arrives in Kalistan to Huge fanfare

The last of its international Port Calls before it's long voyage home to retirement the ZNS-Belgae and her escorting Fleet arrived at Kaliburg to a massive crowd to see the arrival of the Zardic Aircraft Carrier. The Belgae's decision to make its last stop in Kaliburg before it's journey home through the Aldegar Canal is said to have been long planned to highlight the ever growing relationship between the city the Aircraft Carrier is visiting and it's namesake back in Zardugal.

On hand for its arrival was newly minted Zardic Foreign Affairs and former Defence Minister Patro Kalo in addition to Kalistani Foreign Minister Laura Michelaka. The two Foreign Ministers are both former Defence Minister and expected to have a serious of meetings before Kalo departs for Kazullia and then Hutori as the beginning of his own international tour of various Zardic international allies.

While in port the Belgae and Her Fleet performed exercises with the Kalistani Navy in International Waters highlighting the capabilites of the Zardic Federal Navy and how ready it is to defend it's allies. The exercise was also likely to reinforce that Zardugal Naval reach had returned to international Heights, as proven with the Nisbet of allied ports the Belgae stopped at and was requesting to make Port Calls at.

Mozby Establishes Cabinet

President Lindsey Mozby is moving forward on the domestic front as she was able to push her Cabinet through the Assembly, partnering with the ZFP in a Coalition Government to maintain the ZNLP's hold over Government. As was expected the ZFP was appointed to the Premiership as they were also given Defence, Finance and Internal Affairs. ZNLP heavyweights Patro Kalo, Omar Salin and Smilo Cuko were kept in the First Mozby Administration, with Cuko keeping his current gig at International Trade & Industry while Salin and Cuko were shuffled to Foreign Affairs and Science & Technology respectively.

Mozby is widely expected to live domestic leadership to the ZFP for most of the next four years while she focuses on foreign matters. It's known she had already sent Kalo on an international tour to various Allied governments while she herself is said to be making a State Visit North to Wiel; the first Zardic Head of State to go to Vanuku in over a century.

Belgae Returns Home from Final Voyage

Following a two year international Naval Tour, including major stop at many Zardic allies Ports of call the ZNS-Belgae is returning into Konstandian Bay for the last time as it enters into retirement after innumerable years of service.



The Belgae was greeted with huge fanfare and a military honor Guard of the Zardic Marines and of course President Lindsey Mozby as the Captain of the Belgae came off the Aircraft Carrier, saluting his Commander in Chief and officially retiring the vessel.

The Belgae was the leading ship of her class and considered the longtime flagship of the Zardic Federal Navy. It has been at the forefront of almost every Naval conflict the Federation has been involved in since her commissioning and produced some of the Navy's most prolific Officers.

The crew of the Belgae are looking at close to a year if leave after a two year tour and deployment before they are likely reassigned to the ZNS-Alexandra Onassus, the new leading Aircraft Carrier of the Zardic Federal Navy, which is expected to finish it's construction in late June. The Onassus will go through two and a half years of rigorous sea trials before it's expecting Commissioning date in mid 4152.

Currently while the Belgae is being Retired the Zardic Ministry of Defence is opening an open bid on her to interested countries that wish to occur an Aircraft Carrier of their own at a steep discount and without needing to go through the massive start up costs associated with Carrier Programs. The MoD will keep the bidding open for five year and should no offers be given or accepted the Belgae is expected to be officially decommissioned in mid 4155.

Mozby To Make Decision on Majatran Union & World Congress

Now almost a year into her administration President Lindsey Mozby is expected to announce her decision on Zardugal's participation and position towards the Majatran Union, an intercontinental Union being heavily supported by Istalia and whether or not she'll reverse President Yasmin Won's decision to leave the World Congress. In a prepared statement by Mozby's Press Secretary it was stated.

The President is very close to making her decision on these two very important files. As you know Foreign Matters have been the President's primary concern since coming to office and these two are obviously two of the biggest thay have her attention. President Mozby is still weighing the pros and cons of joining the Majatran Union. As for the World Congress she has not decided whether the prior administration made the right call on leaving or whether there would be any benefit of the Federation rejoining. When she had made her decision I promise you'll all be the first to know.

President Mozby also took the occasion to make the announcement on her decision as the new Director of the Zardic National Security Organization; career Intelligence Officer Bruder Calistro.

Calistro is a career Intelligence Officer who has spent the entirety of his career doing classified work in the Zardic Federal Intelligence Agency. While most of his service record is classified it is known his last assignment was Director of the highly secretive Special Affairs Unit, widely considered the Federation's most elite special operation detachment.

Calistro's appointment as the Federation Security and Intelligence czar is the closest hint to Mozby's renewed focus on foreign matters and Intelligence, as Director of the ZNSO Calistro will be directly responsible every every Zardic Intelligence and Security Apparatus in the nation and his history in Intelligence makes it certain that further developments in Zardic Intelligence will likely be kept under wraps to any but the closest of Zardugal's allies.

Zardugal Issues the Mozby Doctrine

With international tensions building, and nations at each other's throats President Lindsey Mozby has announced that the Federation of Zardugal will be bound by a new directive for Foreign Policy that analysts are already calling the Mozby Doctrine.

The Mozby Doctrine States the Following;

1.) The Federation will not be bound by supranational entities that seek to undermine Zardic sovereignty and independence. Subsequently Zardugal will not re-enter the World Congress nor the Majatran Union, nor any similar organization that places restrictions on the sovereignty of the Federation.
2.) The Federation will not tolerate any attacks on its citizens, territory, possessions, or allies and the Federation will hold those who order such attacks personally accountable and responsible and will take action to bring them to account.
3.) The Federation will treat any undermining of the National Sovereignty and right to self determination of any nation to decide their own path as a direct attack against the Federation's principles and ideals and the Federation will hold those Nations and their politicians responsible for that undermining and the Federation will respond accordingly.
4.) The Federation of Zardugal considers Majatra to be an area of Majatran interests only and considers an attack on Majatran states by outside Foreign interests to be an attack on the Federation and it will respond accordingly.
5.) The Federation will pursue international partnerships with all close Zardic allies and will treat those allies as if they themselves were Zardic citizens of the Federation and will defend them to the same degree as it would it's own citizens, territory or possessions.



This Doctrine established by the President is a stark contrast to Zardugal's formerly quiet Foreign policy. It's said that President Mozby is in direct talks with Vanuku and other Majatran Powers about creating a united front against possible Foreign influence. It also finally answered definitively the question of whether or not President Mozby would re-enter Zardugal in the World Congress. Already Mozby is planning on visits to long time Zardic allies Luthori, Kalistan, Kazullia and Keymon about creating a more firm agreement with the thought that other nations may come into it later. She has also personally assured that the Federation is continuing to observe the Baltusian-Aldegarian Crisis and is highly unimpressed with the inability of the World Congress to get any work done, but it open still to both nations as a mediator to ease the situation.

Kalo Arrives in Kazullia

Zardic Minister of Foreign Affairs Patro Kalo arrived in the northern Dovani Kingdom earlier today for a week long visit to what is considered the Federation's closest ally in the north.

His visit and meetings with both his Kazullian counter part and the State Minister are expected to talk on innumerable topics including further the already close relationship between Skalm and Belgae.

Kazullia and Zardugal have become unlikely friends recently and has grown even further in recent years, which includes annual exercises between the Kazullian and Zardic Armed Forces and hundreds of millions of LPD in business between the two of them.

Exact topics haven't been touched on yet, but it's widely believed that they will talking about the ongoing Baltusian-Aldegarian Succession Crisis, the recent spate of right wing radicalism in Kazullia and Zardugal's new Mozby Doctrine.

The ZNS-Alexandra Onassus, the Lead ship of her class, leaving out of Konstandian Bay

Although four months late from its original planned commissioning date the newest Zardic Aircraft officially entered service with the Zardic Federal Navy today, as President Lindsey Mozby was on hand in Konstandian Bay for the Official commissioning of the ZNS-Alexandra Onassus.

Named after the Zardic President that lead the Federation at the beginning of the Great Jelbic War three centuries ago the Onassus is the leading ship of her class, a planned series of 6 Vessels. The new Aircraft Carriers are considered the world's most advanced, having built on centuries of hard earned Zardic experience building the powerful Vessels.

Mozby offered only a short speech before she smashed the champagne bottle against the the side.

This is the proof that the Federation is back. Since the ZNLP came to power we have been rebuilding The Federation, bringing it back to the forefront of Terra and remaining Terra why Zardugal has always been a global leader.

With the launching of this newest Vessel of the Zardic Federation Navy we are proving to everyone that we are back, we are here to stay and that the Federation will continue to be a leader in the decades to come, by leading the way and leading the charge!

The Onassus is thought to be first attached to the Zardic Home Fleet for the remainder of its work ups before it'll begin it's own Naval Tour as a showcase of it.

"The Federation does not Tolerate Terrorism and those who Harbour them"

In a widely expected announcement Zardic Minister of Foreign Affairs Patro Kalo has made a statement regarding the growing crisis between Lodamun and Pontesi.

There is an ongoing crisis between Pontesi and Lodamun. The Second Great Democratic Republic of Lodamun is harbouring infamous Pontesian terrorist Kotari Ravel, even going as far to offer him Lodamese citizenship to avoid him being deported back to Pontesi where he will face Pontesian Justice for his involvement in the murder of dozens of innocent civilians. The Federation does not Tolerate Terrorism or those who Harbour them. By continuing to harbour and protect Ravel to the Federation Government you are no better then the terrorist himself.

We understand that Pontesi has brought this matter to the World Congress and hopefully that body will be able to bring a diplomatic resolution to this situation. However any resolution that does not end with Ravel standing trial in Pontesi is an affront to justice and affront to the Federation; this is a Pontesian matter that was thrust into the international light because of the reckless actions of a nation.

Let us make this point; Zardugal will hold everyone to account who is responsible for everyday Kotari Ravel remains in Lodamese territory and is not returned to the Pontesian authorities and we will take all appropriate action to ensure that Justice is served for the men, women and children that are dead becuase of that man.

Mozby Re-elected in Landslide



The 4153 elections are over and Mozby will be returning to the Presidential Palace on the back of a historic landslide election; President Mozby was able to secure 66.7% of the popular vote, giving her the largest victory a ZNLP President has ever enjoyed, though hardly surprising to most experts given Mozby's Stratospheric Approval Ratings. A combination of her raw charisma, contough pro-Federation stance and her continued successes Internationally and domestically appear to give her an untouchable aura.

President Mozby noted that her second term would be focusing on securing international partnerships with the Federation's allies, and bringing Lodamun to account for their support of declared terrorist organization the Army of Equality and their continued protecting of AoE leader and infamous Pontesian terrorist Kotari Ravel.

Kalo Dismisses Lodamuns double Standard

Following the 2nd GDR's continued refusal to extradited terrorist Leader Kotari Ravel and the Lodamese Foreign Minister's request that others support them and their national sovereignty Zardic Foreign Minister Patro Kalo replied with a simple statement.



"The call for the support of self determination and sovereignty rings rather hallow then they are hiding and protecting a terrorist and when their own Legislature has openly passed a Bill offering support to "Foreign Leftist Forces" which include the Army of Equality, a proven terrorist organization that has killed hundreds."

Thus far the Federation has taken no further action aside from moving the Zardic Second Fleet at Keymon up to a heightened combat readiness, likely to see if Pontesi will have any further luck with the World Congress. President Mozby did however state "The Federation will not wait forever; if action isn't taken soon Zardugal will act on its own initiative."

Federacio de Zardugalo is in Economic turmoil. Due to the Liberecana Unios vast Economic Reforms which led to the mass privatization of industry and decrease in taxes. The country and Party is Currently spearheaded by Marco Provo. The unchanged president for almost 30 years. He is uncontested within the party, and outside of it, with the LU holding all seats. Despite being a die hard Capitalist, he is criticised for still sitting on the fence of pragmatic politics, with less radical reforms, and full on capitalism. Before, it was linked to the coalition with the Socia Libereco Partio to avoid the Konfederacio Nacia de Laboro) to come to power. Now it is simply linked to his pld age, heading to the 70s and not being able to put his will through.

Now the country is devided in 3 parts. In basically communist revolutionaries, moderate capitalists (centrists) and capitalists. The ruling party has the support of the majority, seen by the election attendance rate, but it is split itself between capitalists, led by Provo, and moderates, led by the daughter of the Party's founder: Maya Laršen.

The only two things still uniting them are the social policies and the hate for communism.

The economic crisis has hit Zardugal like a brick. Every single industry, witht the worrying exception of the arms industry, has experienced a fall in profits. Many people lose their jobs. The deregulated economy created by the Liberecana Unio has cut loose all of the existing safety nets as Zardugalo is sliding into economic and social decline.

Funnily enough the government is not blamed for being too capitalist, but actually for sitting on the fence between capitalism and essentially corporatism. They are not effective at delivering their promises. The public is split in 3: the moderates, who want capitalism but with safety nets and some regulation; the capitalists: who want the country to get off the fence and finally achieve their promises of deregulation and economic freedom; and the Socialists: who want an end to this "economic suicide". They say that it is blasphemous for the LU HQ to be on Metzstrado.

Update: The government is stepping down in all of its entirety and the new generation will take over after the Election in April 4206. However the power struggle between the Laršen and Provo dynasties continue as the children of former party leaders were registeresd as candidates for head of govt. And other ministries. The president will be a seperate person but not much credit is given to him. Maya Laršen is regarded as the moderate, and the Provo twins are the pure capitalists like their father was.

After the election, a manifesto will be released to show where the party will ve heading under their leadership.
