Open competition concluded speedily.April 4238After intensive negotiations with Leonardi Industrial Group the Ministry of Defense of Malivia has decided that their offered product fits the specifications of the Malivian Navy.
For sakes of transparency the Ministry published the contract for all to read.
General contract
Between
The Free State of Malivia
And
Leonardi Industrial Group
In consideration of the matters described in the agreement for the mutual benefit of and obligation set forth by said agreement by the customer and service provider.
Hereby agree:
That the Leonardi Industrial Group will build 2 amphibious assault ships as designated in complaisance of the specifications of the Defense Ministry of Malivia with an expected delivery of 30 to 40 years and all installments are paid.
That the Leonardi Industrial Group will assist the Ordnance Factories Board of Malivia in constructing an assembly line in Malivia for producing 1 more amphibious assault ships as designated in complaisance of the specifications of the Defense Ministry of Malivia.
That the Leonardi Industrial Group will build 10 multipurpose offshore vessels as designated in complaisance of the specifications of the Defense Ministry of Malivia with an expected delivery of 40 to 50 years and all installments are paid.
That the Leonardi Industrial Group will assist the Ordnance Factories Board of Malivia in constructing an assembly line in Malivia for producing 4 more multipurpose offshore vessels as designated in complaisance of the specifications of the Defense Ministry of Malivia.
That the Leonardi Industrial Group will provide 10 years of continuous maintaining, assistance in training and spare parts if they are so needed after the delivery of the last amphibious assault ship and its introduction into service.
In return:
The Defense Ministry of Malivia shall pay in yearly installments a total of 32 Billion MCR.
The Defense Ministry of Malivia signs waivers prohibiting the production and export of ships of said design except for Malivias own use.
