CSIF Invests 20.5 Billion into Malivian Education.CSIF announces 20.5 Billion investment into Malivian Education to promote a better equipped population.Chief Executive Officer of the Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund (Global), Helene Enevoldsen announcing the fund's investment into Malivian education.14th December, 4325It was announced earlier this morning that the Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund (CISF), the largest sovereign wealth fund in existence at $457 Billion LOD, would be investing around 20.5 Billion LOD into education into the Free State of Malivia, specifically educational institutions interested in developing and testing new approaches to teaching. Chief Executive Officer of the Fund, Helene Enevoldsen, announced the move as she confirmed to government officials that the fund needed to become increasingly active in the international community as a source of developmental aid not only for Kazulia but its neighbours and other nations in need of financial support for development. The fund has spent more than $100 Billion LOD on education within Kazulia itself, mainly in support of government policies aimed at streamlining the government's IT-focused educational programmes and the National Education Assistance Programme (NEAP). Enevoldsen stated that it was time that the Fund used its international provisions and invest into education in other nations which may not have the benefit of a government that is aiming to streamline the nation's educational system towards improvements and greater development.
Director for Economic Policy within the Trond Henrichsen Institute for International Affairs, Domaldur Franksson, stated that the Malivian economy, due to the "economic developments" of the Persad administration was on the verge of a major shift. Franksson stated that without the necessary financial support associated with development, Malivia's drive towards improving its economic standing would be slowed as the concept of government assistance would be non-existent. In a media release outlining the report from the Malivian-based Institute of Economic Growth, it was highlighted that Malivia boasted of its youthful population stating that nations such as Kazulia, Istalia and Vanuku did not have that. Before members of the Dovanian Economic Forum Franksson provided a counter argument to the statement.
A nation could have a youthful population with as many specialisation programmes as it wishes. However, as we have all learnt, without financing those same specialisation programmes would be worthless. Development and Finances go hand in hand. I support the CISF's investment into Malivian education for simple reason that it will provide financing for the Malivian government's educational programmes.
Chief Financial Officer of the CISF, Justiina Isometsä stated that 15% of the 20.5 Billion (3.075 billion) must be spent on supporting the needs of students with disabilities, as not much governments seem to focus on the fact that they cannot leave their disabled population behind as they move forward towards greater development. CEO Enevoldsen stated that the fund will consider to increase the threshold contribution by 25 Billion, however, this is being debated by the Fund's Ethics Committee who intend on monitoring the distribution of the 20.5 Billion LOD contribution. Isometsä, who is also on the Fund's Ethic Committee stated that if it is seen that the contribution is wasted on matters other than education and possibly healthcare, the fund will withdraw all contributions and will bar future investments from any Kazulian public/private entity in accordance with the Anti-Corruptions Act.
Kalopian Army to be trained by Kazulian troops.Kongeforsvar troops being sent to Kalopia to train Kalopian Armed Forces.Paratroopers of the 9th Paratrooper Brigade during a training exercise in the fortress of Agatha.14th December, 4325Three hundred Kazulian soldiers will be sent to Kalopia to assist in developing the nation's to defend itself from Solentia and external threats as the government in Skalm prepares to introduce sweeping reforms within the nation's own armed forces, the Kongeforsvar. The announcement to sent advisers to the nation which Kazulia formerly occupied as an oversees protectorate, came amid concerns by the Kalopian Armed Forces as the nation's government braces for the return of the fascist, anti-Istalian and Kalopian political movements to retake the seat of governance in Solentia. Although the Kalopian Armed Forces had garnered experience underneath its period as a divided protectorate, this training is said to have been suitable for previous times but cannot be adopted for modern concerns. The mission is expected to last for about 3 months, which throws out the possibility of a long-term cooperative partnership with the Kongeforsvar and the Kalopian Armed Forces.
The Kongeforsvar has perfected the art of defence after spending decades and billions on orienting itself towards being a formidable defencive and offencive force. Chief of Defence, General Christoffer Sundby stated that the Kalopian Armed Forces needed to focus on defending its interests, citing the looming threat posed by fascists in Solentia. The contingent being sent are expected to the elements of the 9th Paratrooper Brigade who intends on centring their training and advise on intelligence-gathering and infantry tactics. Kazulia's intervention into the situation between Kalopia and Solentia had been rather surgical. Ambassador to the World Congress, Sigbjørn Helgeland, urged the Istalian Republic to intervene immediately into the situation, citing that a Kazulian intervention into the situation would be heavy handed, the same heavy handedness associated with a Kazulian military intervention. General Sundby is expected to visit to the troops during their training session to determine whether the skill and experience of the Kongeforsvar was "just what the doctor ordered" for Kalopia.
