Cahtice: Deltarian First Minister Horak while attending a military demonstration in Ushalande has publicly stated that Deltaria, "support commune independence in Lodamun". According to the First Minister the people living in the united communes, which have become independent some time ago, have democratically voted to remain independent and trust their newfound government. "Our ideal is one of national sovereignty. The communes are by law independent and their people have clearly voiced their support for the socialist government there. While we do not agree with the ideological direction of the communes we find that national and popular sovereignty are more important then ideological differences, we recognize the United Communes as independent and they should stay so."

According to Horak the current situation in Lodamun is volatile, "the Lodamese government is attempting to annex the communes back into the country. I think that this is a unwise decision. The situation in the region has stabilized and remains stable despite the division. Such a re-annexation of territory of which the people want to stay independent is a disaster waiting to happen and could lead to a continuation of the civil war. Deltaria will monitor the situation and calls on the Lodamese government to withold their re-annexation plans for the sake of stability and humanity."

According to some sources Deltarian intelligence agencies are monitoring the situation in Lodamun. It is unclear how the Lodamese government will respond and what Deltaria may do if it comes to re-annexation.

Cahtice: Deltarian Telecommunications provider MicroWeb has, after over 10 years of construction and logistical work, launched its new "Viper Network" accross both Jakania and Deltaria. The plans for the new high speed internet network came 10 years ago when the MicroWeb company, until then known for small scale urban internet, announced it would expand its operations and try to become a major telecommunications player in Jakania and Deltaria. After 10 years of continious work on the project and billions poured into it MicroWeb today launched the "Viper Network" for general consumers and bussinesses to use. The network is quite unique for Jakanian and Deltarian standards as it consists of several layers. The first layer is the wireless network, created by strategically located high powered masts that give wireless 4G and partiall 5G access to around 80% of Deltaria and 76% of Jakania. The second layer of the network consists of underground internet cables delivering high speed optical viber internet to all urban and medium sized centers in both countries. The last network is the WiFi network of the company which has also been improved and expanded upon to ensure that anyone in Deltaria and Jakania that would want to use MicroWeb WiFi could do so if they possess a internet router from the company. These different layers of the Viper Network allow MicroWeb to deliver over 93% of the Deltarian population internet of various speeds while allowing the company to deliver 84% of Jakanians that possibility. To promote the new network and attract a lot of customers at once the company has also slashed prices for a subscription to the network, allowing consumers to get a subscription for far lower prices then competitors offer, at least for the first few months that Viper exists.

The MicroWeb routers combined with the Viper Network also allow the company to offer TV Subscriptions by cable, which are also offered to consumers at a low rate for now. With these stunts the company expects to attract over 30 million customers in the first year of Viper's existence, also utilizing TV ads and other marketing measures to make this goal a reality. The creation of the Viper Network has caused MicroWeb to get in serious debt however, now amounting to over 2 billion as a result of the massive investments needed to create the network. The company hopes that the investment will pay itself however and is putting all its efforts into attracting enough customers to make a profit and pay back its debt. It expects that with 30 million customers it will be able to pay back the entire debt within 4 years, allowing it to make a profit afterwards. Ananto Strait: The Imperial Navy, together with the navy's of Deltarian allies Kalistan and Malivia, has conducted naval exercises named the "Ananto Strait Defensive Exercises" shortnamed ASDE. The exercise included the Nemec Carrier Strike group of the navy, now consisting the new Premsyl-class destroyers, several Kalistani military vessels and two Malivian Gorshkov-class frigates also part of the Nemec Strike group for this exercise. The ASDE exercise is the first Deltarian naval exercise conducted outside of the Majatran Sea in over a century and is meant to show the outside world that the newfound relationships and influence of Deltaria reaches this far north. The exercise was also meant to show the capabilities of both the new Deltarian destroyers as well as the battle readiness of the Nemec Carrier. Operations within the exercise were not only a good test for the Deltarian Navy but also specifically for that of Kalistan. The exercise centered around the Nemec Carrier Strike Group sailing right through the strait, tasking the newfound Kalistani navy with intercepting the strike group. Such a exercise would give the Kalistani Navy some valuable lessons in defending the strait against any such incursion. The strike group passed through the strait when the Kalistani navy went in to intercept, first warning the strike group to retreat immediately. When, for the sake of the exercise, it didnt the Kalistani navy launched training anti ship missiles. The defenses of both the carrier and its escorts managed to intercept the first few anti ship missiles. After an hour of missile launches and gun fire from the main guns of the smaller Kalistani vessels the first Deltarian ship was "hit" simulating heavy damage on its engine and causing it to fall behind the strike group. While this would possibly mean a dangerous situation for the carrier and its escorts the Nemec carrier finally launched its aircraft to compensate for the loss of the ship, with both MiG-29 and carrier based R-27's launching into the air. The aircraft first circled around the strike group, intercepting several missiles before launching themselves at the Kalistani ships. Supported by anti ship missiles from the Slava-class cruisers in the group the Nemec Strike Group managed to simulate the sinking of 3 Kalistani vessels, forcing the Kalistani navy to retreat from the battle and giving the Nemec Strike Group the victory in the exercise.

According to officials from the MoW and their Kalistani counterparts the exercise has given the Kalistani navy good feedback on their strategy and reinforced the need for Kalistan to find a solution for their lack of air power deeper within the Ananto Strait, as their land based aircraft cannot get there in time to counter the quick deployment of carrier based aircraft. Furthermore it gave the Imperial Navy the chance to project its strength beyond majatra in this exercise as well as testing out its carrier strike group in a high tension situation. The Malivian escort Gorshkov frigate also saw action, testing out its systems to intercept enemy missiles and being heavily used for aerial patrol with its helicopter on board. The MoW is thus happy with the result of the exercise as the Nemec Carrier Strike Group is now heading back to Deltaria. Malivian and Kalistani counterparts have also stated that such exercises could be conducted annually, to keep their navies battle ready. Minister of War Macek has stated he is open to this idea in the future.

Cahtice: The Tichý ďábel-1' or 'Silent Devil' deep-water homing torpedo developed by the Vlach Naval Design Bureau has finally, after several years of delays, entered production phase as testing has concluded with a success. The torpedo was under development for more then 5 years, simultaniously being developed with a new anti ship missile named the Pancar-1. While the Pancar-1 entered production two years ago and was subsequently equipped on Deltarian ships the Silent Devil was not, being delayed by several design flaws and later by a dispute between the VNDB and the government over funding for its development. Last year the two sides did however finally reach an agreement on the funding prompting VNDB to continue developing the torpedo. Now, after extensive testing, the Silent Devil deep-water homing torpedo is finally entering production phase and it to be equipped on Deltarian ships and submarines. The torpedo is a newly designed and developed one being more modern then its predecessor with increased range, guidance systems and a bigger warhead. The Imperial Navy has announced it will replace the current torpedo's on its submarines and several of its ships with the new Silent Devil. It is expected that the currently in construction Kirov Battlecruiser will also be equipped with the new torpedo with the same counting for possible future submarines of the Imperial Navy.

The first Silent Devil torpedos are expected to be completed within the next few months, slowly replacing the current torpedo arsenal.

Cahtice: The newly designed and improved Mi-24 named the 'SuperHive' which has been in development for 4 years has finally entered line production. The new helicopter, which is a highly modern and improved version of the Mi-24, had been in its testing phase for around two years. The new helicopter has the ability to be mounted with modern avionics and also has a large array of upgrades and improvements to a majority of its systems. The MoW already announced earlier that a order for 75 of these 'SuperHive' helicopters has been placed to replace the current arsenal of Mi-24 helicopters but also have additional Superhives on top of these. It is expected that the new helicopters will be delivered in batches over the next four years. The Project 11 helicopter, which was mainly designed and developed for the army and navy, has also been completed and left its testing phase earlier this week. According to the MoW the new helicopter, mostly designed for reconnaisance and limited fire support missions, is named the K-X. Around 29 have been ordered by the navy with 50 ordered by the army and 40 by the airforce. The helicopter is meant for reconnaisance missions but is also capable of providing limited fire support to forces on the ground. It is also the first Deltarian helicopter in the possession of electronic warfare capabilities, allowing it to jam enemy electronics to a limited degree if needed. The K-X has thus also entered line production and is also expected to be delivered in batches over the coming years to both navy, army and airforce units.

The Mi-28 helicopters ordered by the Airforce some years ago are nearing completion, likely entering service within the coming year.

Cahtice: The Conservative Democratic Union (KDU in Daralian) has won the 4777 elections. With over 80% of the vote going to the party it has been given a clear mandate to once again govern the nation in the new term. The main reason for this election win is likely the new leader of the party, Nora Nováková, who is extremely popular with the majority of Deltarians. In recent polls around 82% of voters would be comfortable with Nováková taking over as First Minister, likely becoming the second women to run the highest office of the land. First Minister Alois Horak could also not have been more satisfied, leaving office with a astounding 75% approval rating as he is largely seen as the stable figure that has brought Deltaria on its course for succes in recent years. Horak stated upon the election results that he is to retire from politics, instead working for his wives foundation. A foundation dedicated to promoting stability in different parts of Terra.

Nováková has responded to the election win by saying, "The KDU has, since the foundation of our Grand Empire, been the pillar on which our progress stands. I am honoured to be able to serve as your First Minister once the new senate has assembled and i can only be proud on what we are about to achieve. Let us bring forward our vision for a great Deltaria. A Deltaria that respects the sovereignty of others and acts out of the interest of its people, its allies and those who cannot speak for themselves. We will have a difficult job ahead. But we can do it. As one Deltaria. Together."

Political Analysts see this as a important power shift as Horak has been First Minister for the past 15 years, being largely responsible for Deltaria's steady rise. The main task of Nováková will likely be maintaining the preculiar balance of power that currently reigns in Majatra. With powers like Vanuku once again voicing themselves the task of maintaining stability on the Majatran continent will become harder every year according to geopolitical analysts. The MEA and growing power of Deltaria will likely play a vital role in maintaining stability on the notoriously unstable continent.

Cahtice: In the imperial capital of Cahtice a band can be heard playing the national anthem. Thousands have gathered on the Imperial Square, ready to attend this opening ceremony. The Czar stands under the grand structure with new First Minister Nováková standing with him. The minister of culture, Blažena Sikorová, is talking to the director of the new Grand Imperial Museum. This new museum, dedicated to displaying both the great history of Deltaria as well as its most valuable pieces of art, was a project of minister Sikorová since her entry into the cabinet 8 years ago. She has been an advocate for a strong national identity and pride in our institutions and has been working with several party's to realize the creation of this new museum. The new structure was already present in the city, formerly being the residence of various monarchs of Deltaria including current Czar Mikulas. After he left the former palace 5 years ago the Minister of Culture finally had the location with enough historic context and room to house the new national museum of the country. The new museum is co-funded by private investors, the city as well as the state which hands over 50% of the museum's costs to the museum. The museum is divided into several sections. At first visitors enter the main hall, which has been completely renovated to include modern and old architecture, creating the stage for what is to come next. The first section visiters can go to included old historical paintings from classical Deltarian painters, all divided into sections going from "Deltarian Wars" to "Social Economic Developments" all depicted with paintings and statues displayed in beautifull cases and on the walls.

The next section is all about recent Deltarian history, depicting the coalition war in photo's and statues and explaining, through a audiovisual journey, both the dark and light history of the Deltarian state and its people. Then people can also enter the "Crown Hall" including the most famous paintings and statues of Deltarian origin, depicting war, romance, nature and society in a multitude of ways. The most famous Deltarian painting named the, "Boy in the Dark", is also in this room, depicting a Deltarian teen during the middle ages hiding in a dark alley as Jelbek soldiers march through his town, showing fear and despair in his eyes as they walk by. According to the Ministry of Education and Culture a total of 4 billion has been spent on renovations and opening the new Grand Imperial Museum. Later during the day, the Czar stood on a podium in front of the immensely large crowd ready to give a speech:

People of Deltaria. This new museum. In its new, and old, glory. Is a museum for all of us. Young, old. No one is excluded from visiting and admiring our beloved history. Our people may sometimes find differences, we may not always be equall or agree with eachother. But this museum and the works of art in it show that we have more in common then we think. Our united history is one of great strive but also one of great accomplishment. Let us enjoy this moment in which we open a museum that shows all of us what a great nation Deltaria is and how intuitive and adapting our people can be through the tests of time. Long live the Empire. Long live Deltaria. I open the Grand Imperial Museum!

Large crowds proceeded to be the first to enter the museum with the Czar and First Minister given a personal tour by the historians that helped assemble the many pieces of art. The museum will be fully open to the public by the end of the week.

Providence: The Deltarian First Minister Nora Nováková travelled to Providence, the Lodamese capital earlier this week to discuss increased ties between the two nations. The new lodamese government is totally different then that of Deltaria, with its communist ideology and believes in contrast to the Deltarian conservative ideals. Despite this ideological difference the Deltarian government underlined the importance of a relationship with Lodamun for both strategic and other diplomatic reasons. This started by recognizing the communes, which have increased their influence in Lodamun over the years and are now an established force within the country. This automatically increased ties between Lodamun and Deltaria after the communists came to power, as they were alligned with the communes. Now, just a year after the communists came to power in a free and fair election, Deltarian First Minister Nováková decided that her first state visit as leader of the country should be conducted in the newfound Deltarian friend.

When arriving in Lodamun it was clear that the situation was tense in the country. Some protestors could be seen when the FM arrived on the airport, protesting that Deltaria recognized commune independence. These protestors are mostly conservative, not alligning with the generally left wing majority of the country. This did not deter the First Minister who followed Lodamese Prime Minister Erhart Simson and sat down together in a armoured vehicle, moving to the government quarter in Providence to discuss bussiness. Several topics came about with the two leaders agreeing for increased military cooperation, stronger economic ties in the form of lowering several tarrifs on certain products as well as more diplomatic interaction. First Minister Novakova also once again repeated the recognition of the communes as independent. Furthermore, just like Horak before her, Novakova struck a deal with the Lodamese government allowing Deltarian shipping to use Lodamese ports in exchange for a Deltarian training program which shall train the Lodamese coast guard effectively. This deal will give the Deltarian navy immense reach into different Terran oceans largely due to it connecting with other deals in the region. The basing rights in Narikaton and Kalistan, the self owned base in Malivia and the new rights in Lodamun would give the Imperial Navy a web of resupply points that would allow it to practically operate globally without the fear of running out of supplies. It is reported that both diplomats and military officials are very sattisfied with this deal as it truly opens up immense possibilities to Deltarian power projection capabilities.

According to insiders the deal also allows the First Minister to focus on Majatra, where instability has been on the rise. It is expected that this deal will lay the path for Deltarian influence to spread further then it has ever spread once Majatra is once again stabilized. The majatran situation now forces Deltaria to attend majatran bussiness once more with its foreign policy likely going to be focussing on regaining the initiative and stabilizing Majatra while maintaining its strong relations outside of Majatra for when stability has been recreated. It is expected that the deal will be ratified by both nations in the coming months.

Cahtice: For over 20 years Mikuláš I was the Czar of Deltaria. The first czar of a modern, democratic and monarchist Deltaria entering a new chapter of growth, prosperity and democracy. This period is seen by many as a new chapter for Deltaria, previously plagued by stagnation and dictatorships. After 20 years democracy has now developed itself as a fundamental pillar of Deltaria, firmly reinforced in courts, the legislature and executive. The new First Minister Nora Nováková is herself a democrat at heart and Mikuláš I has always stood for the importance of the seperation of powers. Now. After 20 years. The Czar is passing on the torch of his power to a new ruler. Promising Maria of Alazan to support her in the previous Czarist election. This means that Alazan was, from the start, the presumed successor of the Czar, who held on to his promise pledging his support for the Duchess of Alazinder. But, when the Imperial Council consisting of the dukes and duchess entered the Grand Cathedral of Cahtice where the vote was to be held and the coronation to be organized a unexpected twist presented itself.

As promised current czar Mikuláš voted for Maria Alazan to replace him as monarch after 20 years of reign. While Maria was initially believed to be supported by a majority a major shift of favour happened during the actual election in the Grand Cathedral. Dušan of Cstibors, firm supporter of Mikuláš, decided to initially not vote for Maria but instead cast his vote for Péter von Thaller after a discussion with Vadir of Swaefheard. Both Vadir and Peter agreed that something should be done against the planned succession of Maria and thus contacted Dušan, known not to specifically like Maria, to gather his support. This initial intend to vote would see Péter von Thaller ascend to the throne. Something unnaceptable to Czar Mikuláš, who still saw the Thaller family as a danger to Deltarian democracy. In a last ditch effort to convince Dušan he sat with him in a private chamber of the cathedral, talking to his friend for over 3 hours until eventually Dušan agreed to support Maria under the condition that she would inform all the duke's of the Empire of major actions as monarch such as disbanding parliament if any such situation would occur as well as granting Dušan the position of "Imperial Envoy of the Czar(ina)" a position which would give him access to the Czarina as an advisor as well as access to certain documents. Maria agreed to these terms. Eventually resulting to 3 votes in favour of Maria of Alazan and 2 in favour of Péter von Thaller. Making Maria Alazan the second monarch of the Grand Empire and Czarina of Deltaria.

Shortly after she was crowned in a ceremony and named Jméno jejího jména, ochránce deltariánů, císařovna lidí, ochránce svaté víry, božský vládce, Czarina Maria I. z Alazinderova domu (First of her name, protector of Deltarians, Empress of People's, Protector of the Holy Faith, Divine Ruler, Czarina Maria I of the House of Alazan). Former Czar Mikuláš thus lost his position as Czar, pledging his allegiance to the new monarch as the constitution requires him and the other royals to do after the coronation. He will from now simply be known as Duke Mikuláš and at the age of 54 is expected to continue his rule as Duke of Ushalande for the foreseeable future. Now the highest offices in the land are in control of women, a testiment of the progress made in Deltaria. New Czarina Maria is seen as a moderate like Mikuláš with a more hands on approach with her already announcing that she and the First Minister will from now on meet every week so she can be informed of the most important matters that need to be known. She is also considered a democrat and constitutionalist, likely continuing Mikuláš his work to protect and defend the constitution and Deltarian democracy.
