Valruzian Automotive Group recently took the groundbreaking decision to close its electric vehicle plant in the Republic of Endralon. Many feared that reducing the Group's production capacity would significantly increase customer waiting times for the supply of electric vehicles, for which demand is increasing. The paint plant in Endralon produced nearly 100,000 electric cars per year, which were sold on all continents. A few months ago VAG decided to withdraw from Endralon as a result of the country's "loss of the pro-investment market". However, as a result of talks between the governments of Tukarali and Valruzia, favorable conditions were worked out for VAG, which now plans to open its largest factory on the border with Tukarala near the town of Dabik. The area covering more than 40 square kilometers on both sides of the border on the Kortan River is to be turned into one of the largest car factories in the world and the largest complex of its kind belonging to the VAG group.

Image

The Preferential Trade Agreement negotiated between the governments of Tukarali and Valruzia may prove to be very helpful in the construction of the new factory, as it will probably eliminate the restrictions on cross-border business. The proximity of the city of Dabik is expected to eliminate problems with hiring new factory workers on the Valruzian side and to eliminate logistical problems with transport - the factory is located on the Kortan River, which is classified as an Inland Waterway along the whole length of the border with Tukarali, which will allow the transport of new vehicles from the factory by ship, and a well-connected railway network. Negotiations are also currently underway to develop infrastructure on the Tukarali side of the 18 square kilometer area where the factory is planned to be built. Valruzian and Tukarali companies have expressed readiness to develop road infrastructure on the southern side. The presence of the Via Seleya superhighway, which is an extension of the A2 and A3 motorways on the Valruzian side, is a certain advantage for the planned factory. It is almost certain that Valruzian companies will push for the construction of new railways on the southern side to allow for better distribution of new vehicles to customers in Tukarali and southern Seleyan countries.

Image

VAG assesses the total cost of construction of the new factory which is intended to become operational in just 6 years to be LOD 12 billion. With all certainty, VAG will ask the governments of Valruzia and Tukarali for financial help in the construction of the companies. Valruzia just only a couple of years ago started the Economic Reconstruction Fund which surely will be included in the financing of the new factory. VAG wants the new project to employ at least 15 thousand people and to include the production of all vehicles of all brands owned by the Group.

In the years 4790-4793, the share of new flats in the Valruzia residential market was 68%, which is a historically high figure. The high share of the primary market is a signal of good economic situation on the real estate and construction markets. Valruzia lags far behind the rest of the Sleyan countries in terms of the number of new homes purchased from the primary market.

Image

The Central Statistical Office commissioned by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development has conducted a survey on the number of new apartments introduced by developers to the real estate market. In the years 4790 it was nearly 340 thousand new flats, in the following year 372 thousand, in 4792 - 310 thousand, and in the period from January to November this year, developers introduced almost 400 thousand apartments, which is a historical record in the real estate industry in the country. It is a confirmation that the residential sector is doing well and there is no sign of anything that could reverse the trend.

Image

However, experts warn that this state of affairs will continue for a longer period of time, and those who decide to buy a new apartment may fall into a "non-sellable" apartment trap caused by too much saturation of the residential market. Therefore, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Development notes the need to develop new, effective but non-invasive regulations for the housing sector which will limit the number of new apartments released to the real estate market each year to a certain level. According to reports from MITD, work on such solutions is already underway.

Changes in the composition of the Council of Ministers become a fact. The spokesperson of the Council of Ministers, Michalina Opatowicka, confirmed that next Monday works will start in the planned superministry including the Ministries of Transport, Infrastructure and Development, Regional Development and partially industry. The new ministry is to be headed by the current head of TID Ministry Lucyna Rembert. The Prime Minister has stressed several times that plans to create such a ministry date back several years, but only now that it is known that it is large infrastructure investments that will be the subject of increased government work, it was decided to merge the ministries.

Image

Minister Rembert announced that she would make every effort to fulfill all the assumptions of the Council of Ministers regarding the new ministry. However, she points out that the Council of Ministers will have to work hard and arduous to bring the infrastructural projects planned by the government to fruition. As the minister herself points out, it is clear that the time has come for great, capital-intensive investments aimed at further stimulating the economy. One of the government's planned investments is to be a new transcontinental East-West motorway connecting the east coast of Baltusia and the west coast of Valruzia. The investment is to be carried out jointly by the companies Valruzian and Baltusian and is expected to consume nearly LOD 320 billion. In the long run, this is expected to allow for faster transportation of imported goods from our western neighbors and at the same time increase exports. At the same time, a new rail link is planned for both passenger and cargo connections. These and many other investments are to be sponsored by Minister Lucyna Rembert, who is to meet with the Minister of Transportation of the United States of Baltusia on Monday, the first day of her term of office, to discuss plans for cross-border cooperation within the framework of planned infrastructure projects.

Image

As part of the formation of the new superministry, Ministers Grzegorz Pospolski (Trade and Industry) and Beata Kaprus (Regional Development) are to be demoted to the rank of Vice Ministers. The Chancellery of the Prime Minister informed that further changes in the composition of the Council of Ministers are planned in the coming weeks or months, but these will only be cosmetic changes. Seleya Daily's panel of experts assesses the changes to initially cost VPO 10 million, but in the long run the change is believed to save approximately 3 millions a year.

The most important brand of the Valruzian Automotive Group, BNG has presented its latest model. The new B1 SGC (SGC stands for Sport Gran Coupe) is a "four-door coupe", as the manufacturer himself calls it. The car is based on a completely new floor plate. The base versions of the B1 SGC will be front-wheel drive, while the more powerful ones will include the All4 (two-axle drive). For a compact sedan with a length of 4.54 meters, width of 2.67 meters, a trunk that in a normal configuration of seats can accommodate 520 liters (a record in its class) and equipped with frameless windows in the basic equipment Excellence you have to pay LOD 5.6 thousand. In return for this amount we will receive a car equipped with a 4 cylinder 1.6 (turbocharged) engine with 195 horsepower, which is both the smallest and the weakest unit in the BNG offer. There will also be drive units available in other models, in the coming months a fully electric version of the car will also be included in the offer. BNG informed that the strongest mass-produced B1 SGC will be the SuperSport (SS) version equipped with a 3.6 litre V6 engine, which will generate 610 horsepower.

Image

The BNG itself admits that the B1 SGC is an extension of the range with a compact sedan, and the car itself is of course based on the new BNG B1, already well known on the market. The use of the front drive was dictated by two aspects - more space in the cabin and better agility. This is how the BNG explained its decision at the premiere of the hatchback, which, however, left the possibility of choosing the type of drive which significantly increased the price of the car. The manufacturer assured that the new BNG B1 offered a level of driving dynamics unprecedented in front wheel drive vehicles, setting new standards in the premium compact car segment. This will be one of the best equipped models in the compact car segment. As a reminder, the BNG B1 is the first to feature an electric panorama roof. The BNG B1 will also be aboard the premium car world, with a wireless smartphone charger, a 12-inch multimedia system with two 12-inch displays with optional gesture control, and a 9.5-inch colour head-up display, offered for the first time as an accessory for the BNG of this size. There's also an advanced, intelligent voice assistant that responds to "Hey, BNG".

The following drive units are available for the B1 SGC at the beginning of production:

B1 SGC 1.6 (195 hp) with manual or automatic 7AT
B1 SGC 1.6 (225 hp) with manual or automatic transmission 8AT
B1 SGC 2.0 (2.0 with 295 hp) with 9AST automatic transmission
B1 SGC 3.6 (3.6 V6 with 610 hp) with 9AST automatic transmission

The Ministry of National Defence commissioned the Department of Procurement and Defense Orders (DPDO) to prepare a project for the modernization of the used and purchase of new combat and shock helicopters manufactured by Pegasus MR1. The project assumes modernization of all 70 helicopters currently in use and purchase of new 45 in the modernized version. The modernizations commissioned by MOND after receiving a recommendation from the Department of Armed Forces assume equipping helicopters with improved avionics, more powerful turboshaft engines manufactured by VAG and Reglair, as well as new defense systems like anti-tank guided missiles PPK2 and air-air missiles PPG3, REI1 observation head and multifunction displays and HUD. The upgrade is handled by a dedicated Reglair unit, which, in cooperation with VAG and Air Defense Forces, will work on the detailed aspects of the upgrade so that the machines meet all MOND requirements. The Ministry anticipates that the helicopters currently in use, together with the newly ordered ones, which, alongside the WZL P1 "Wolverine" aircraft, form the basis for close infantry support, and are described by some as the most important element of infantry support, will serve in the armed forces for at least several decades. The Committee of National Defence has repeatedly submitted inquiries to MOND regarding the condition of the helicopters in use and a potential successor, but MOND has always defended the platform in use as "not currently having a worthy successor". It is now known that Pegasus and Reglair are conducting preliminary work on a successor for MR1, often referred to as a "flying tank", and everything indicates that the new helicopter will be closely related to the MR1 currently in use. Such a strong attachment of the PSO to the platform in use is, however, justified, as the Pegasus MR1 in combat configuration, fully armed, is also capable of transporting 16 soldiers in full equipment to the battlefield, which is the main argument for MOND to keep the MR1 in the PSO fleet as long as possible. The DPDO estimates the cost of upgrading older helicopters to a VPO of 880 million and the purchase of 45 new machines is a VPO of 2 billion. The upgrade is expected to last until December 4797, when the combat capabilities of the upgraded machines are also to be demonstrated.

The Department of Procurement and Defense Orders (DPDO) of the Ministry of National Defense (MOND) has reported the launch of a comprehensive plan to upgrade the current equipment and to retrofit all types of armed forces. So far, MOND has based its activities on sector-specific modernization of individual defense systems and platforms, as in the case of the Pegasus MR1 Combat Helicopter, but has now decided on a multi-billion dollar plan to modernize the overall equipment and upgrade the systems currently in use. It is known from official announcements of MOND that this plan is in the initial phase of development and will be implemented over several years and the scale of expenditure is expected to reach over VPO 2 trillions - more than any modernization and restructuring project in the history of the National Defence Forces. "Defender 4800" because that was the name of the Ministry project got the green light from the Prime Minister. Now the project will have to be approved by the Sejm and the Sejm Finance Commissions, the Public Procurement Commission and, most importantly, the National Defence Commission. All the aforementioned Sejm Committees must accept the drafts together with possible amendments to the draft proposed by the other Committees or the Sejm itself.

Image

The complexity and capital intensity of the proposed project will certainly require the representatives of the government, MOND and the representatives of the Department of Procurement and Defense Orders themselves to perform wonders of casuistic equilibrium in order to convince the Sejm and its subordinates that the project will undoubtedly serve to improve national security for many years to come. So far MOND has given January 4798 as the most probable date for submitting the project to the Sejm. According to Seley Daily, this is due to the fact that the last tests of the modernized Pegasus MR1 helicopters are scheduled for December. MOND most likely wants to take advantage of this unique opportunity to show the members of the Sejm that the modernization projects carried out so far are working well and that the new defense systems are entitled to improve national security. After the possible success of the December tests, the Sejm and the Commissions will certainly look favorably on the proposals made by the Council of Ministers and negotiations will be much easier.

More than 120 million citizens of our country celebrate today the 553rd anniversary of the Republic. Exactly on October 10, 4244, the Republic's Renewal Movement, a precursor of the currently ruling party of the National Coalition, realized its flagship idea - the establishment of the Republic of Valruzia. Like every state at its inception, the Republic struggled with greater or lesser problems both at home and abroad, from questioning its subjectivity to difficulties in the early days of international cooperation. However, many generations of consistent rule and perseverance of the people of Valruzia have managed to create one of the most stable societies and, moreover, one of the most stable political systems. For more than four months the Council of Ministers has been planning to celebrate the Day of the Republic. The 553rd anniversary of the establishment of the Republic was celebrated in Nowogard by President Howder, who met the citizens of the city at the Ignanski Congress Center and then went to Hel, where he gave a fiery speech in which he recalled that those responsible for the weakening of the Republic between 4765 and 4789 were still not held accountable and called on the government to resume its activities and to bring charges against those who had acted to the detriment of the State as soon as possible.

Image

Also in Nowogard, the Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tizian von Spies, who was invited to celebrate the Day of the Republic together with Prime Minister Michal Prajsner and Minister of Foreign Affairs Albert Vaughn-Rosta, participated in the celebration at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Monument to the Republic. The Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Dorvik was one of the few representatives of foreign governments invited to Nowogard. After the celebrations, Minister von Spies and members of the Valruzian Council of Ministers went to the Prime Minister's Chancellery building to discuss the future of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Dorvik and the Republic. As confirmed by the Ministry of Defence, the government managed to work out an agreement to supply 40 new Unionfighters and 30 Tornado fighters in a fighter-bomber configuration. This is further proof that cooperation between Haldor and Nowogard is possible despite political conflicts. Foreign ministers discussed the increased presence of economic entities from Dorvik in Valruzia.

The National Security Council and the Council of Ministers decided, at the request of the Ministry of National Defence, to strengthen the border with the Federal Republic of Likatonia and to deploy temporary land force stations for self-propelled KRAB howitzers along the entire length of the border with Likatonia - 530 kilometres. A total of 42 posts are to be established where one to two howitzers are to be stationed, as well as technical facilities. This is the first time when it was decided to use the National Forces of Defense to strengthen the borders, on the ground. So far the government has used the Border Guard, Coastal Guard, and the Police for this purpose. The communiqué of the National Security Council explained that this step is dictated by the long-term strengthening of the border military presence on the side of the FRL, which has been maintaining three military bases on its side for several months. So far, the government in Novgorod has not responded to the constant attempts by the FRL to escalate the tensions and has been maintaining the measures taken to protect the Valruzia borders in the form of continuous aerial border monitoring with Reglair i3 EWARA early warning aircraft and an increased presence of the Police and Border Guard in the border region.

Image

The National Security Council's communication also warns against the false reality of the Clovisport government, which presents Valruzia as an aggressor planning to invade Likatonia. On several occasions, the authorities in Valruzia have assured that the measures taken are only aimed at defending the borders and serve as a deterrent against the instability that the FRL regularly faces. The Valruzia government has repeatedly stated that Likatonia is behind all known cases of escalating tensions on the border, and the establishment of new bases in a sensitive region is another example of the unwillingness and triviality of the government in Clovisport, which has missed an opportunity to normalise the border situation. We would like to remind you that President Howder and former President Barr of the FRL have undertaken preliminary negotiations to normalise the situation on the border, and the Valruzia government has even taken some steps to withdraw part of the police from the northern part of Voivodeships of Campania and Chynberg. However, after the departure of the leader of Przydent Barr, the new administration made no further attempts to normalise relations between the FRL and RW.
