The new song while it does not offer singing much, the style and the methods employed do send the message. This embarassing defeat has set judges less open minded and more cautious, sending Jonathan Sunville to FOMAT XVI, with the song "The foreign place we call home". The decision was controversial, since the singer is an existentialist and New Wave Individualist who disproves of asceticism and old values. The song showcases the goods and bad in life and that we have to acknowledge the reality and price life for it's impredictibility and beauty.

While in the past Lodamun offered bold bands, this FOMAT judges ruled in favor of simpler songs, with excitement slowly dying off among Lodamese after the neopaganic folk failure to impress anyone really and bringing part of Lodamese society that is still viewed with suspicion and dislike by biased Hosians and Quaderites disliking paganic songs. After some entries, the fewest this time around, Lodamun decided to send Sunville and his single that has proven to be somewhat catchy by the public. Many critique this move as lazy and uninspired.

With these, Lodamun is cementing slowly economic ties and influence in Artania, with possible diplomatic and cultural ties following suit.

Economic deal with Zardugal - While affairs in Artania are showing great output and economic revenue for Providence officials, in the south, Majatra, things are just moving, with failed attempts to communicate with Istalia and a treaty of friendship with Deltaria. Alongside plans for economic treaties with Jelbania, Lodamun has completed a deal with Zardugal. In return of increased capital injected into Zardugal by Providence and fair economic activity by Lodamese companies such as Martin's Ships which will offer alongside other minor shipping companies their service for Zardugal with new ships produced in Orean and St Martin in order to keep up with Zardugalian economic growth and thus more naval activity in the area as ports export and import goods, Lodamun will instead receive investments in various sectors such as agriculture, which in exchange will offer Zardugal cheaper and better products from Lodamun as part of national policy of transforming Lodamun as the powerhouse when it comes to agriculture (thanks to Lodamese plains and Kregon plateau being highly fertile for such activities and having the right arable soil). Zardugal agreed as well to arm sales whose details are yet to be confirmed by our trade partner, with parts of cadre of officers, noncoms and soldiers to be sent to Lodamun in order to cros-train with Lodamese soldiers and commanders. Specialized units in mobile warfare and adaptation to different environments will give valuable knowledge to Zardugalian units related to guerilla strategies and overall improve their skills in surviving different rough environments, such as the Lodamese mountains "Andalayans".

Overview of ESC and Lodamun
Lodamun represents an interesting case of studying, part thanks to the political medium, formed of two radical parties, the Ecofeudalist Antinatalist Peasant Party, a far-right, feudal, anti-intellectual, anti-urbanite and ultra conservative party, that is pit against the socialists, formed of the Ethical Socialist Coalition, which are pro development, environmentalism, nationalism, egalitarianism and logarchism in some manner. This is not seen the only interesting part, but as well the unstable past and the future of the Great Democratic Republic, which in 4916 will have 50 years since the founding fathers such as Nataniel Pop ratified and signed the Constitution of 4866, meant to establish a new GDR, the fifth this time. This leads to the fact that Lodamun has an unstable part, where liberalism has failed and people go between socialism and pseudo-socialist feudal regimes, with liberals often being radical as well and seeking to privatize and pursue extreme libertarian policies, offering the perfect landscape for turmoil, with over 6 regime changes in the last century alone! A Lodamese Civil War is also highly studied thanks to it's pretext rather the war itself, which was short and easily solved with help of Indrala. The tensions are still present today, but more rare. However a party, the Ethical Socialists (to not be confused with Kalistani ethical socialism), with division among traditionalist pagans and revivalist pagans, among progressives and conservatives, hierarchists and anti hierarchists. While Lodamun is interesting for the lack of a working political center, turmoil and culture, the Ethical Socialist coalition present us a case of study in itself. From the powerplay offering them 7 consecutive electoral victories, alongside alleged accusations of corruption and scandals inside ESC, the tumultuous inner party life among factions and the way the party has took power over culture and formed an elitist class ruling in populist manner.

The Ethical Socialist Coalition, an organization made as a platform for leftists alike, from democratic socialists, to Metzists, to Ethicists and New Wave Individualists (alongside other denominations such as anarchists ,federalists, Ezicists etc). The ESC represents a troubled party since foundation as it always searched an unifying ideology or faction that would end inner hostilities, but as seen, even during the founders' era, among socialist intellectuals differences existed that set out future divisions and schools of thoughts. From Metzism, the Ethicist school emerged, while from anarchists and syndicalists, the existentialist New Wave Individualist school of thought. Over the coming years the party suffers several changes and internal coups and factionalism, purges and alliances with other socialists and leftists, leading to a picture of a party as more of a platform, as intended by the founding fathers, thing seen as the true root of all problems of ESC, the foundation was around sort of a coalition, of an alliance and not a unified party, not even with factions working together, rather loose rag tag platform for various socialists with own ideas of what is good. This also set belief that functionality of a system depends on belief and values, as well to the "philosophication" of the party elites, with writers and thinkers leading the party, such as Isaac Osborne, great defender of the Communes and writer on Lodamese anarchism and revolutionary behavior. The party's collapse was caused after several inner events that led despite electoral wins and establishment of a UFSR, to disagreements impossible to solve as such the LCP became small local parties or the nationalists leading to a nationalist UFSR and replacement of it with several right wing states led by failed conservative governments. The foundation of the new LCP was made by Nataniel Pop, who in turn has established the second UFSR, which lasted only 3 years, with internal and national turmoil and instability, ending with a shameful electoral defeat. He has grew weary with materialist socialism and overall with modern approaches to egalitarianism, so he became more interested and invested into pagan traditions, exploring dead pagan cults and the Occult. Side by side, he also questioned epistemologically the world, coming to conclusion to found Ethical Communism/Ethicism, similar to Logarchism in some way. He will be the architect of the Constitution of 4866 and leader of ascetics across Lodamun, reshaping the nation forever and becoming an icon of Lodamese socialism and spiritual renewal. The Post-Social Ethicist Idealist Party (PSEI) failed at unifying factions, which lead to internal conflict between factions, such as the New Wave Individualists backed by Justin Baar and Barnier, against the clique of Pop, Eva hall and Thall. Mika Hirst is also an interesting character. Eva Hall iron fist rule period lasted a decade and two years, result of internal meltdown that could had ended the party just like the last time. Eva Hall paid with her position for keeping the party united under a dictatorship of the Ethicists. Nowadays the party attempts to reconcile with the many factions and beliefs, being closer to the ideal coalition (since the ESC being the name) that it was envisioned as.

For understanding the political atmosphere and the total undisputed hegemony of ESC in politics we have to observe that Lodamun for the most part was under a strict conservative era after LCP's dissolution, and before of that under the princely control, a feudalist sorta rule over Lodamun. Both featured lack of egalitarianism and the liberal era that emerged at the same time with the Years of Revolution also showed hierarchist views and policies. Many historians believe the total failure of feudalism to provide people anything valuable, while the conservatives and liberals where more tolerable, but with an overly huge emerging poor and proletarian class in Lodamun thanks to liberal administration and a mix of pseudo socialism promoted by EAPP alongside the underlying work of anarchist and socialist thinkers on revolution and egalitarianism offered Lodamese a new hope in politics. Blatant corrupt and inept rule of EAPP, aside of centrist mismanagement set the perfect environment for leftists to grow. Failed by democracy seen as a joke, workers joined revolutionary unions and the SUFL/NSU, the main leftist force in the Presidium during the collapsing 4th GDR.

Following more inaction, rejections and fear of a military coup, the population wreck havoc via usage of black markets and direct seizure of territory in various regions, culminating with northern Andalay going under the Communes for the next 100 years, influence still felt today. As such, centrism and non egalitarian views became less prevalent, leading to over two decades of leftist dominance of culture and politics.

Lodamun has offered interesting election results. Ever since the meltdown of many political groupings and stabilization of the GDR, ESC has won the mandate and presidency seven times consecutively, amounting up to 26 years of socialist and ethicist rule, seen as beneficial, pragmatic and vital, with modernization and open borders alongside respect for traditions, paganism and for the people, sort of an elitist party using culture to enlighten the people in order to achieve an egalitarian utopia. Elections of 4907, 4903, 4899, 4895, 4891, 4887 and 4885 offer a view of political domination in the government, with some of the cabinets being vested for over a decade. While the collapse of multi party democracy signaled end of progressive values in Lodamun , aside almost breakdown of PSEI at the time, the ethicists maintained popularity, thanks to economic stability and efforts at improving the military and pursuing nationalist and populist rhetoric. Accusations of corruption were brought by some against the ESC, but no clear evidence of rigging, with polls showing over 75% of eligible voters turning to vote, while four years ago it was 70%.

An interview with the "Iron Lady offered us the atmosphere and her leadership. Eva Hall excused her actions as necessary and life saving for Lodamun and PSEI, as at the time fearmongering of feudalist rule as well internal politicking as the old elites were losing ground, creating a vacuum, Eva Hall saw chance to act and with help of several highly esteemed leaders from PSEI staged a coup. 12 years were dense years, with tensions, more fearmongering and lack of stability thanks to factionalism and eager politicians for showing their talents and enter history. Eva Hall sqw this period as lacking in genuine artistic expression, paranoia and talks often being short and on the brink of a fight. Eva Hall found itself, despite saving the party and showing mercy for factions, she ended thrown away by a coalition against her and Nataniel Pop by Baar and his clique, followed by disgruntled factions such as the existentialists and the hardliners on the other side calling Pop's more mild, production oriented and nationalist rhetoric as revisionist, calling instead to radical isolation, asceticism and egalitarianism, later Hopke founding the Ezicist branch known for the hardline beliefs.

What then? With the end of turmoil both internally and party-wise, what is the future of Lodamun? Many suspect a continuation of leftist policies for decades to come with others even daring to dream to Lodamun as respected global power and spreading socialist and cultural beliefs. More pessimist approaches talj of a second Lodamese Civil War and a return of right wingers. While all analyze Lodamun, current president, Edward Thall, important personality has offered more cooperation between factions, less for the Federalists, as well plan to make Lodamun influential and ultimately having proven worthy of prestige and diplomacy.
