The Yishelem PostKohav downgrades DEFCON status and initiates scale-backsMay 5401- Navy petitions the MOD's Department of Defence Contracts for the formation of a 4th Carrier Strike Group to enhance global deterrents
- Medinat Department sends communique reminding Majatran states that the MSCO is an equal platform of involvement, operations and command by every member stateHimmelshtern, Beiteynu - The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command was joined earlier this morning by Head of the Kohav (Military Command) Kavin Mahorit to confirm that all 3 CSGs in the southeastern region of Majatra have been downgraded to DEFCON 4 (battle stations ready), following the announcement of the Atyr Summit in Kanjor between Kafuristan and Beiteynu
earlier this year, as well as the scale back advised by Lourenne and Luthori, in reponse.
When asked about Yishelem's position on the international military response, Kavin Mahorit stated:
Beiteynu and Majatra as a whole are immensely grateful for the scale of international response, not only on a diplomatic level but on a military, as well. We thank Kundrati and Hutori for their initiative in heeding the Security Council's calls and attempting to aid the MSCO.
On Luthori, Lourenne and Alduria - our allies - we extend our sincerest appreciation for standing with us and leading the way in the efforts.
The time has come, however, to relieve the pressure and focus on the bilateral relations between Badara and Kafuristan; as with everything Beiteynu facilitates, the Badaran - Kafuri region belongs to Badara and Kafuristan; it is imperative that we let them lead the way, now.
Under advisement by the Medinat Department, the Beiteynuese navy seeks to de-escalate the situation
after a Hutorian warship was damaged during the anti-piracy operations in the eastern waters between Badara and Kafuristan, fearing the disruption of active peace talks.
Sources in the MOFA hinted that the Medinat Department "pulled the strings" quietly and rapidly immediately after the attack.
The supranational formation of the Mizrahi Carrier Strike Group composed of Lourennais, Luthorian and Kundrati warships led by the BEINS Mizrahi aircraft carrier will return to its deployment station in Hanzen, to continue ensuring that "no disruptions occur in the region" as Hanzen continues to prosper in peace. The Nimshal Carrier Strike Group will also be recalled from the region, however, high-ranking sources at the Medinat Department have hinted at active channels with Baofluz seeking to coordinate the temporary stationing of the CSG in the ports of Jelbe, citing the need for "rapid tactical response" in the Majatran Sea.
It is presumed that the Medinat Department will seek to broker a deal with Baofluz to transfer the CSG under the structure of Zaar Fleets, which will mandate that the operations of Beiteynuese forces stationed in Jelbe will fall under joint command with Baofluz and the MSCO.
The Reshout CSG will remain in the region, with Aldurian and Istalian Zaar Fleet deployments to scale back into the Sea of Lost Souls.
