King applauds resolution of the Badaran Civil War
May 5412

- Former Deputy Ramatkal Nefariouiem Aristocrat who helped usher the ascension of the Yeudi Monarchy hospitalised "under critical condition"

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - For the first time since his coronation in 5406, Meleh (King) Elias Ishmael IV attempted to comment on geopolitical events by applauding the perseverance of the Badaran Government and the MSCO's steadfast cooperative spirit by the leadership of Deltaria in resolving the Badaran Civil War and paving the way for what has been observed by analysts as an "impressive recovery" since the President's declaration in 5410.

In the spirit of the Yeudi Monarchy's "youngster status" in the world and its mostly heritage-centric essence, the young king stumbled and smiled in his inexperience, apologising for his awkwardness and blurting out how General el-Yamin has been his "personal hero". Reaching the half-mark of 25 until his 30th birthday and in being under active duty with the Beiteynuese navy as Lieutenant Commander with the 4th Flotilla, the king admitted that General el-Yamin's pivotal strategic moves in the Badaran Civil War have been a few of the most "inspiring stories in recent military history".

He also expressed his gratitude for the Yeudis that took part and assisted in the conflict with the Shahar Fleet's Nahshol CSG.

The Meleh is booked to travel to Lourenne for a state visit and some "well deserved vacations" from his post in the navy; set to meet royal and government dignitaries as part of an agenda in further strengthening relations with Eroncourt - the first diplomatic move of the modern Yeudi Monarchy.

His calendar on a couple of social events with Princess Hélène has blown up social media since last night.

The Yishelem Post
Military requests clarifications from Fort William on naval operations
August 5412

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The Beiteynuese Government's repeated calls for a response from Fort William on active naval deployments seem to have gone unanswered, straining the current climate even further, according to sources in the Medinat Department. The issue was even raised by the Beiteynuese Deputy Representative to the MSCO with the MSCC just last week, as Deltarian command begins to assess active deployments with the CMRF.

Newly appointed Head of the Kohav Ariel Zvab made the following statement:

Following the debacle by previous military leadership, Fort William had chosen to sail, regardless, which led to Dorvik following suit immediately after. The Beiteynuese Government called out Luthori - granted in not the best of scenarios - and then called out again, only to be met with a somewhat confusing audit instead of a direct consultation with us or even the MSCO throughout all this time.

By that audit, it seems to us the Luthorian navy is operating in and around Majatra, with the Migrant's Pass included, without consulting with the MSCO, us or even Aldurian and Lourennais commands in the southeast.

This precarious treatment is most troubling, especially if we factor in how the MSCC seems to be aligned on a joint Artanian - Majatran security agreement and the fact that Fort William has the 6th Flotilla and the 2nd Submarine Division currently deployed and docking in the North Bank.

We can't possibly consider joining the Artanian summit in good faith if one of the continent's leaders, and our ally, continues to conduct itself in this manner.

Fort William needs to seize its independent operations in the Migrant's Pass as soon as possible.

The Medinat Department has expressed uncertainty in how to move forward with the summit in Artania, as the situation seems relatively "stalled".

The Yishelem Post
Nihasim publishes paper on Artanian geopolitics
December 5412

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The Nihasim University in Yishelem frequents papers on geopolitics with the Royal Academy of Lourenne, considering how most Beiteynuese diplomats in key foreign affairs positions have traditionally been its graduates; thus, with a keen interest in analysing situations.

Summary
The change of pace now witnessed in Artania was first observed by the university back in 5360, during a period when Artanian states like Luthori, Dundorf and Kundrati began marking the first "cracks" in a traditionally institutionalised continent by the merits of Dorvish realpolitik. Haldor's gradual dwindling of influence began even further in 5346; not as a direct result of its own actions, but as an indirect consequence of two adjacent "pivots".

The rise of other Artanian leaders and, well, severe Yeudish meddling tracing back to the 53rd century.

As a result, for almost 200 years, Artania has been embroiled in a complex web of "power play" geopolitics, which the paper describes as the "underlying cause that triggered the change of pace but has also contributed to the lack of regional cooperation". The entire thing took a life of its own when Haldor killed what was dubbed the "triumvirate"; the trilateral relations between Beiteynu, Dorvik and Lourenne. Beiteynu and Lourenne joined up in one of the most tectonic alliances in recent world history, setting the change for subsequent "fights" between Dorvik and other rising Artanian leaders.

What has eventually culminated into the present situation is not a Beiteynuese-Dorvish "beef" - after all, both have been distant with each other - but an Artanian discontent of centuries of Dorvish hegemony, which has dominated the continent with its military bravado in foreign affairs.

The Beiteynuese fiasco in the Migrant's Pass was initially a "calling out" of Dorvish arrogance; instead, the entire thing ended up revolving around "Artanian superiority", with Yishelem and Eroncourt showing a noticeable level of weariness that went unnoticed by an Artania that seems keen on carrying on the torch of Dorvish conduct that got them here in the first place: "disregard if it's not in your benefit".

The paper concludes with an all around concern on the oxymorons of an Artania choosing to selectively play ball with the world, which will be met in the future with a similar disregard on the other end of the spectrum, achieving nothing when the dust settles and the new kings and queens will demand attention.

The Stage Makers
Despite the significant influence of pressurers and drivers in this geopolitical "battlefield" in Artania, the stage is mostly set and made by the circumstantial pillars that usually adorn such cases of "changing the guard" in regional relations.

Meaning, where the game is actually played in the daily lives of Artanians, and not by obscure faceless governments.

- Ikradon, embroiled in one of the nastiest situations that Artania is not unfamiliar with in recent history - with the 2nd Malivian Crisis last century, 1st Malivian Crisis and its collapse the century before that, as well as Kundrati's civil war - with multiple sides vying for that "stage setting".
- Rutania, walking down the neutrality game and attempting to disarm "hegemonic tendencies" by calling for a summit that went unnoticed.
- Keymon, the one more highly to be underestimated but the one most likely to influence supranational cooperation, having led the charge in the previous cycle of the Artanian Union's revitalisation efforts; its alignment with Dorvish pragmatism will also likely play a factor that will most likely go unnoticed.
- N&D, as clear as day aligning with Haldor and offering Dorvish hegemony a significant ROI for its money.
- Malivia, the country with the biggest potential influence in entirely changing any kind of talks, anytime; sitting center stage between Dorvik, Luthori, outside influencers and of course, the Beiteynuese and Majatra eyeing interventionism with caution.

Pressurers
Whereas Yeudish pressure was discarded by its own faults after one of the most shattering blowbacks in recent Beiteynuese history, the Lourennais one is an altogether different story. A single article in the media can essentially tank or uplift Fort William's efforts at anything, with a simple snap. And the entire world will rally behind Eroncourt's word. Both states still maintain noticeable economic, diplomatic and military influence which Artania will meet with down the road.

As such, the pressure is not current; it is long-term. Artania's actions today will set the stage on how the rest of the world treats Artania in the future.

Drivers
And focusing on the center, we're met with the continent's 4 drivers; the Dorvish, despite their recent hiccups and large indifference to a changing world, are still relevant in Artania and heavily at that. Their economic influence is evident on the rest of the "Big Three". A single bark and it's game over.

- Luthori is undoubtedly the country that spearheads the sentiment and the one to decide what the battlefield will look like once the dust settles.
- Dundorf has always represented an extension of Dorvish pragmatism, realism and steadiness in politics; it can easily grab influence and lead the way.
- Kundrati is arguably the most underestimated country in the world; its military movements, its powerhouse economy and self-earned gravitas over the course of more than 100 years now has empowered Kasaema to a level that it can probably set any agenda, short or long term.

The Yishelem Post
Navy to take part in Luthorian "Broken Waves" exercise
December 5414

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - The Beiteynuese navy is arguably of significant presence as a global muscle, second only to historic Lourennais expertise and with the recent strain of relations with Luthori and Kundrati the invite to participating in the Broken Waves naval exercise from Luthori was, if not surprising, met with a curious eyebrow from the Medinat Department, which quickly noted how Kasaema was excluded from both the ground and naval exercises that Fort William, in trying to assert its military understanding in recent decades, declared to organise earlier in the past. In the time elapsed since the Migrant's Pass debacle, Meleh Elias Ishmael IV currently in service in the navy has been promoted Commander of the Horizon class BEINS Sheket destroyer of the Yeudi Fleet's 4th Flotilla currently operating under the CMRF's MP-NG in the Migrant's Pass while in reaching the 2 year mark of his commission in the newest post, and in light of Fort William's invite for both diplomatic talks and a naval exercise, the young Yeudi Monarch will be promoted to the rank of Captain of the Queen Isabelle BEINS Tafsik aircraft carrier under the Shahar Fleets, currently stationed in Beiteynu, acting as Rear Admiral during the exercises and co-command the Tafsik Carrier Strike Group's operations for the duration of the "Broken Waves" exercise, with the CSG consisting of 2 Vanguard class submarines, 3 Kotor class frigates and 3 Horizon class destroyers, also to coordinate air operations for the Tafsik Air Carrier Group composed of 54 Kfir jet fighters and 2 IBAE-400 reconnaissance aircraft jointly created by Biraero, with subsidiary Biraudiss, and Istalian AUDISS, having the intelligence aircraft and many variants of its type since the early marks of the 53rd century. Rumours of an "after-party" aboard the BEINS Tafsik, as many royals are expected to attend the naval exercise, have been afloat with Lourennais wine and bread to represent the spoils of a successful exercise. It is expected that Beiteynuese royal participation in the naval forces will be complimented by a state visit in repairing the strain in relations since the Migrant's Pass debacle, with Fort William citing the importance of Yishelem "bowing down" in this new climate of Artanian affairs, which according to the Medinat Department has yet to show any fruit, as debates in the Artanian Union are still underway, with elections scheduled in 5420, after which, it is still unclear when the Artanians will enter into a mutual security pact to satisfy the weariness on a lack of security cooperation that Eroncourt, Yishelem and even the MSCO via Deltarian command, have expressed in recent years.

Meleh to visit Fort William in addressing strain in bilateral relations
December 5414

- Oil and gas supply from Vascania continues to climb exponentially, as Beiteynu witnesses its second "petroleum boom" in storage operations and maritime distribution

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Meleh Elias Ishmael IV has been scheduled to fly out to Fort William and visit the Orange Palace in an attempt to address the strain in bilateral relations between Luthori and Yishelem after the military's fiasco in the Migrant's Pass. The visit is part of a two-fold agenda, with the King already having been confirmed to participate in the "Broken Waves" naval exercise as Rear Admiral of the Beiteynuese navy's Tafsik Carrier Strike Group set to take part.

This recent invite is the young King's first "serious attempt" at royal diplomacy.

With his father Prince William being a member of the ruling House of Orange-Villayn, the Yeudi Monarch is presumed to bring the 2 dynasties even closer together and essentially "cast aside" the gaps created by political and military manoeuvring on both ends. Young Elias Ishmael IV is the descendant of a "commoner" Yeudish royalty - the House of Elior, which makes the Yeudi Monarchy itself being very fond of Lourennais and Luthorian royals as the "mentoring hands"; the King is expected to further enhance that sentiment by seeking the Orange Palace's guidance in addressing the power play strains and reminding both countries of their recent close ties on multiple levels. Analysts have long predicted the demise of Beiteynuese influence, at some point.

Royal ties, especially of the mentor-mentee type, will certainly assist in "toning down" Beiteynuese muscle as the world changes, yet again.

The Medinat Department, keen to distance the country as much as possible after that whole debacle and eager to minimise the damage that has so far "cracked" Beiteynuese influence in Artania "wide open", has advised the King to express the Beiteynuese Government's apologies to Fort William. "Our military's choices recently have been a few of the worst in its history", the Head of the Medinat Department stated, adding "although we terminated most of its leadership, we still need a lesson in being humble - we hope our King reminds us that culture transcends any level, especially in the protection of Yeudis around Terra".

Sneakyeth Avodi did however express concerns, echoing the Nihasim University's recent paper on Artanian geopolitics, how the world is expected to respect the influence of "new players", when they don't respect the influence of "old players".

"One might say that disregarding influence is an influence primed to be disregarded", he concluded.

Equifund Hadashot
Majatran manufacturers discuss development of MAEW under MSCO
May 5415

Image

Amshinov, Beiteynu - The Nisrad's Office of the Permanent Representative to the MSCO has initiated a roundtable with defense companies from the private and public sectors towards forming a consortium for the research and development of an airborne early warning and control aircraft dubbed the MAEW (Majatran Airborne Early Warning & Control), an idea that has been floating around by prominent aerospace manufacturer Biraero for quite some time.

Istalian conglomerate AUDISS and Biraero - more specifically its subsidiary Biraudiss headquartered in Istalia - joined forces back in 5236 in one of the Equifund's first supranational partnerships to jointly develop and produce the IBAE-400, the consortium's first AEW&C aircraft. More than a century later the companies brought Sato - the Allink's rocket vehicle manufacturer - to the table to produce a subsequent variant dubbed the IBAE-PHALCON.

Biraudiss's team then went back to the white-board and drew plans for an aircraft that would represent Majatra's flagship in reconnaissance.

With the extended peace and stability brought forward by the MSCO and excluding the short-lived "cold war" between Vanukean and Beiteynuese intelligence during an era that has been called by historians as Jacobean Cildania, the aircraft's development never took off.

Until the cascading events at the onset of this century.

From the Bloody Coup of Kafuristan and its aftermath with the Badaran Civil War the continent banded together behind the MSCO's principles of mutual security and defense like never before. The CMRF under Deltarian command played the game of military intelligence very strategically, focusing more and more on reconnaissance, intelligence gathering and supranational coordination, managing to effectively minimise the area of effect of two major conflicts in the same region. While the Beiteynuese navy played a pivotal role in continental safety, as Deltarian First Minister Dragoslav Iacobescu put it in January, "naval vessels are not the only way to see what is going on" - a statement which finally opened up the dialog on the joint development of the MAEW; this time under the MSCO.

Biraero confirmed that it will bring aboard a few of its key partners from Kundrati, Lourenne and Dankuk as consultants for the project, while the Medinat Department of the Beiteynuese Government will seek to broker additional partnerships and extend the Beiteynuese - Deltarian effort to the entire MSCO; turning its immediate attention to Badara, Vanuku, Zardugal and Jelbe; on the latter, there is already a precedence established from 5367.

Specifically, Lourennais conglomerate Dimont Aviation - the makers of the infamous Rafale - will hop aboard on jet technology, representing Biraero's main partner in the development of the Kfir and Nesher jet fighters since 5325; in equal measure the company will bring along Kundrati Defence Contractors - the fastest growing defence conglomerate from Artania that has successfully been producing a plethora of military equipment across different domains. Dankukian Northstar Heavy Industry will also join the fold as another one of Biraero's historic partners, alongside a few key Equifund suppliers on both hardware and software alike.

An announcement from the Deltarian defence industry as to which company or companies will take the lead on the Deltarian end of the spectrum alongside Beiteynuese manufacturer Biraero will take place in the near future, as well.

The goal is presumed to be making the aircraft available to every MSCO member, as Majatra's flagship in airborne reconnaissance.

The Yishelem Post
Medinat Dpt. seeks to broker agreement on shared access of the Allink
June 5415

Image

Amshinov, Beiteynu - Sneakyeth Avodi of the Medinat Department travelled to Amshinov to join the Head of the Lavian this morning in announcing that the two organisations of the Beiteynuese Government have drafted an agreement that's been in the works since the Lavian's foundation back in 5378. "Allcomm" will essentially reaffirm Beiteynu's policy of sharing access to its network of reconnaissance satellites for military and intelligence use with its partners and allies.

Yishelem as it seems continues to play the game of maintaining its own interests indirectly as relevant through the pursuit of the independent interests of its network by offering its fancy tools in a manner of helping facilitate and share Yeudish expertise in intelligence with Yeudi friends.

We know, that's a long and confusing sentence; so is Yishelem (long and confusing).

The Allink went live in 5388, albeit the Beiteynuese Government having operated it in exclusivity alongside with Hanzen, after the Lavian first offered access outside of Beiteynu 4 years prior to the official launch. Although Kadenite - the satellite maker - formed Abat a few years later after extensive pressure from the Knesset to redirect the Lavian's focus on civilian tech, Dorvish intelligence operations in Etxea and the rise of the CSCO in the northern hemisphere drew attention back to intelligence and military use; Yishelem then opened up the Allink's access to its extensive circle of direct allies.

Despite lobbying pressure failing to unshackle the TRA in 5398, the Lavian solidifying as an intelligence arm peaked when access was granted to the O3 Intelligence Summit organised by Lourenne just a year later, as Majatra began embroiling itself with Kafuristan. Beiteynuese intelligence was presumed to have reached, yet again, an all time high when Katerina Sheket blundered in the General Assembly when a set of confusing events took place after a Hutorian ship was damaged in the Sea of Lost Souls and Alduria, Lourenne and Luthori changed their tune on foreign fleets in Majatra almost overnight.

AllComm's fate was essentially verified when the TRA granted access to the entire MSCO at the turn of the century, as Badara began sinking in turmoil.

The agreement will essentially verify the policy and its development over the course of the last 3 decades, solidifying the direct access to the Allink's command console in Amshinov to Beiteynu's direct allies, the O3 Intelligence Summit and the MSCO; seeking to effectively minimise red tape along the way.

The Lavian will also offer access to the space ports in the North Bank.

"Sit our Thrones" by Yeudsay holds Top 1 in singles
August 5417

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Underdog musician Yeudsay broke records last month with the release of a single that would be marked as an insta hit amongst young adults in just as little as 13 days. The song now counts its 2nd consecutive month as Top 1 in the country, with its popularity growing more every day. According to the artist's rather controversial posts on social media, the song pays tribute to a bygone era of "playing innocent" for Yeudis. Titled "Sit our Thrones", it tells the story of a "battle of heritage" and taunts of an aftermath, with an "unrecognised home" and a "missing friend".

The Yishelem Post
"1 more century"; Meleh to marry Princess Hélène of Lourenne
September 5417

- Gem Publishing announces yet another delay on controversial book series The Meddling Affairs; cites "Dorvish investor pulling out"

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - While many deny it or refuse to believe it, Terra has been shaped by what is now a 100 year alliance between the eloquent high ground of the Canrillaise and the mischiefing shenanigans of the Yeudis; with its byproduct of a "White Knight" policy swaying between 2 different flavours of pragmatism, bewildering the crap out of everybody else as nobody is ever able to call anything out. Quite literally, 100 years ago, Eroncourt and Yishelem entered into one of the most tectonic alliances in modern history, shaping the future of not 1, but 5 continents, in a prolonged strategy of slow moves and counter-moves.

Apparently, only few had managed to pay any real attention to how the world began changing, slowly and deliberately.

Unsurprising to most as the couple's young love has been flaunted by the media for years, Meleh Elias Ishmael IV will be marrying Princess Hélène of the House of Orléans-Vasser, bringing the fates of the world's 2 pillars even closer; and the Yeudish House of Elior now soon to be bound to 2 of the most historic royal bloodlines in an emerging order of trilateral royal diplomacy between Elior, Orange-Villayn and now, Orléans-Vasser.

A whimsical Princess, standing next to a smirking King.
