YBI confirms investigations of unprecedented scale underway
January 5487

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - A spokesperson for the Yeudish Bureau of Investigations confirmed this morning that the independent authority of the Beiteynuese Government had opened a plethora of cases and is set to work in conjunction with both the Transparency Remediation Authority (TRA) and the Royal Investigations Authority (RIA) from Lourenne, in pursuing its investigations both domestically and abroad.

Viewed as one of the rare instances of a BeiGov vehicle not being influenced by the private sector, YBI always enters the fold when "things spill outwards" to the Yeudish Neset, outside Beiteynuese borders; the agency also pursues all kinds of cases, from tax evasion to murder and treason.

Although the spokesperson declined to provide any details, it is presumed that YBI will go "deep and wide", reviewing past cases all the way back to the assassination of Baruch Lea Tzafrir (which proved to be staged by the House of Elior) and extending its reach to entities from Narikaton and Darnussia, Vanuku, Cildania, Malivia, Luthori, Kundrati, Kirlawa, Hutori, Trigunia, Likatonia, Valruzia, Aldegar, Tukarali, Alduria, Istalia, Badara, Kafuristan, Solentia and Dankuk.

Apparently, everywhere that Yeudish "influence" had reached its "meddling hands", one way or another.

Head of Medinat Dpt. fired for alleged collusion with the Benowitzes
February 5487

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Sneakyeth Avodi, the Head of the Medinat Department, was asked to resign by Minister of Foreign Affairs Adam Rock shortly after YBI subpoenaed Mr. Avodi for alleged collusion with the Benowitz House, the titans of Yeudish shipping, before and during the war with Lourenne. Mr. Avodi's track record is not insubstantial, having also ran point on the negotiations in Altatepec with Lourenne.

He will be called to provide his testimony on a number of cases in YBI's headquarters in Tel Bira later this month. Deputy Eli Kadiyot, a descendant of legendary Noah Kadiyot himself, will serve as the new Head, tasked with completing the decades-long repositioning of the Yeudish Neset.

In the meantime, the spotlight on the Benowitzes seems to burn brighter and brighter.

Sato & Darnussian DAL launch next-gen "Auge" (eye) spy satellite
February 5487

Image

Amshinov, Beiteynu - Technically, "spy" satellites are mentioned as reconnaissance satellites for military and intelligence use; but we couldn't resist stating the obvious, as Bannerhafen and Yishelem continue "arming up" with all kinds of shiny tools. The Auge (eye in Dundorfian) is a next generation, well, spy satellite equipped with a synthetic-aperture radar capable of penetrating the darkness and the thickness of clouds to receive and broadcast signals.

The technology is based off of Sato's, Kadenite's and Black Beisa's earlier design of the Ofeq satellite. The 5455 Terralift rocket has been retrofitted accordingly and is being used in launching Auges into low orbit. The SAR's software is also capable of rendering 3D models of landscapes and buildings.

Darnussian Aeronautics Limited (DAL) was Sato's pivotal partner in this project, with the defence company from Narikaton and Darnussia rumoured to be working on a plethora of R&D projects in terms of space hardware, potentially including Dundorf in the mix.

Auge will be used to amplify Allcomm, as a critical tool for the Yishelhafen Pact (the 3rd Point Base's ridiculous number of satellite dishes is kinda a giveaway).

Delegation led by Eli Kadiyot travels to Hobrazia
November 5487

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Eli Kadiyot (descendant of the legendary Noah Kadiyot), the newly appointed Head of the Medinat Department (the notorious diplomatic agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that swears by the Yeudi Way), led a diplomatic and trade delegation to Hobrazia yesterday, in accepting President Sophie Toreli's recent state invitation and seeking to explore extending bilateral relations with the Artanian country.

Despite Hobrazia's unique location overlooking the Artanian Sea, neighboured by Malivia and Narikaton and Darnussia - the latter representing one of Beiteynu's strongest partners and 1 of 2 remaining allies in recent decades, commerce has always been on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of trade volume.

Tariffs, extended bureaucracy, lack of diplomatic channels and the fact that Beiteynu has historically traded more with Kundrati and Luthori over the last 3 centuries will be the main topics of the agenda that Mr. Kadiyot and his delegation will seek to discuss with their counterparts.

On the tarmac of the Bei Elion International Airport in Yishelem, Mr. Kadiyot made the following statement:

In the aftermath of the war with Lourenne we're looking at a new direction, especially as relations and commerce continue to decline with Luthori and Kundrati. It is our intention to sit down with the Hobrazian Government and explore what they need, their goals and what they seek to achieve.

We can certainly provide them with unprecedented access to international markets via the Yeudish Neset and the Vamaj Network.

And, of course, we will advise the Hobrazian Government to join the JAMS Agreement and become an active participant in security cooperation both in their continent and with Majatra, especially considering the relevance of the Migrant's Pass for Hobrazia, in terms of maritime trade.

The delegation will pursue brokering two agreements with Hobrazia, both in terms of putting in place and ensuring the continuation of diplomatic channels on both sides, as well as exploring the potentials of eliminating trade barriers and enabling commerce, especially if Hobrazia is interested in exporting its own commodities across more than 20 nations via the world's currently biggest trade and commercial network.

Analysts have assumed that Beiteynuese-Hobrazian relations will certainly assist towards balancing out the current post-war recession of the Beiteynuese economy and the Yeudish Neset itself, especially as commerce seems to pick up at the same time with Seleya's own rising trade hub, Gaduridos.

One thing is certain: Beiteynu's ongoing transition to the LFR (the world's 2nd largest economy adopting the world's 1st's currency) will shake things up.

OOC: Please disregard this post, it's purely for bot development purposes.

Hobrazian secondary sector set to expand in international markets
December 5488

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - Copper, automobiles and potentially petroleum-based products and oil and gas are earmarked to be at the forefront of Hobrazia's increased footprint in international markets according to recent statements by President Sophie Toreli and MOTI Petre Meliton, following what seemed to be a fruitful conclusion of Eli Kadiyot's visit last year (who had emphasised that the banquet and Hobrazian hospitality were "indeed excellent").

As the Erovnuli Asamblea is expected to deliberate upon the country's entry to the Yeudish Neset, Vamaj Network and JAMS Agreement according to Hobrazian media, investor confidence has been picking up momentum in Tel Bira.

Various shipping and financial executives have been meeting with representatives of the Hobrazian Government in an effort to assist and advise on potential deals and investments with various entities - including world renowned automobile manufacturers from Dundorf, as well as shipping and energy executives from Narikaton and Darnussia and Badara, citing Hobrazia's interest in expanding its oil and gas industry through the Vamaj Network.

"We look forward to continued relations, should Hobrazia decide to join us and our partners on the international stage", Mr. Kadiyot stated.

Analysts have also taken note of Hobrazia's active participation - even as an observer - in the Bier Qassem Conference as "one more sign of the country's increasing international involvement", welcomed by many Beiteynuese officials in terms of "bringing healthy diversity to Artania's extroversion".

Yeudish Neset transitions to the LFR in landmark change for global trade
December 5488

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - Make no mistake, the Beiteynuese economy itself is a house of cards, in the sense that it's primarily a hub for international capital from across the Yeudish Neset; a financial empire built on leveraging debt and risks by the merits of investor confidence and venture capital primarily reliant on foreign and international markets. Money that just happens to pass through and cross paths with Tel Bira, the network's heart.

A network built on top of the Yeudi Heritage that's spread across the continents and pursued very aggressively by Yishelem.

The 60B in Kundratijan-Beiteynuese net trade that cracked during the war with Lourenne has never been Kundratijan-Beiteynuese, per se; it is Kundratijan-Yeudi, summing its volumes across dozens of countries.

Which is the reason why the war and its events have been absolutely devastating to the network's confidence, stagnating it for more than a decade now. A 2 trillion LFR loss in GDP is simply the tip of the iceberg, dangerously hiding the fact that Yeudish shipping in Seleya essentially collapsed, with the loss of the Kundratijan commercial pulse - a major Yeudish hub for centuries, representing the financial and shipping industry's chink in their armour.

Simply put, Yeudish money is mostly not Beiteynuese.

-

Almost all industries in Beiteynu, be it domestically based (i.e. manufacturing) or internationally based with presence in domestic markets (i.e. shipping), are tied to international capital; because there's a cap on what a 30M something population living in a mostly arid wasteland can do.

That's not to say that the above average wealth of the Beiteynuese is inconsequential; but its all intricately tied to everyone else's money.

Hence the reason why the Jacobstone Administration immediately pursued aid via the Bannerpakt, in essence capitalising on the lingering momentum of a post-war economy. That, however, benefited Narikaton and Darnussia's GDP more than it did Beiteynu's, as Bannerhafen's independent network poured capital in the Beiteynuese defence and manufacturing industries, thus, increasing its own footprint and marketshare in the Yeudish Neset.

The same thing applied to the oil and gas industry in Beiteynu; it's, yet again, a "trade front" for the Vamaj Network. Despite the collapse of Yeudish shipping in Seleya, Lourenne's, Gaduridos's and Aldegar's entry to it balanced the scales in terms of the volume of trade that kept going through Tel Bira.

Once again, money that's not Beiteynuese.

-

Beiteynu's decision to join the LFR is neither surprising nor counter-intuitive. Yeudish financial institutions have long been tied to the LFR and the Canrillaise, with Ashalon Bank BEIFG's and Aristocrat Insurance Group's (to mention a few) vaults having leveraged Lourennais capital for centuries.

On paper, the world's 2nd largest economy binding its currency to the world's 1st looks like an isolated deal between two markets. But if you zoom out and consider Lourenne's Treaty of Villacourt's extensive background reach, you'll realise that the actual deal is not what it seems.

A Lourennais-Yeudi footprint on international markets acting as a background amplifier for international markets themselves.

It's a global network now running on a global currency.

-

As the Yeudish Neset begins to transition its currency medium to the LFR across more than 25 countries around the world, it begs the question whether sources like the Vandam Report should even consider the virtual nature of the Beiteynuese economy and its trade-based GDP.

And instead tell the "actual truth": that the Yeudish Neset's wealth, volumes and capital is mostly not Beiteynuese.

It's Narik and Darnussian, Dundorfian, Kundratijan, Hobrazian, Selucian, Aldurian, Gaduri; and so forth.
