Elior's Oath to become national anthem for Beiteynu
January 5489

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - (Video) The ridiculous fascination around the myths and legends of Elior, his legacy, the 8 Gems and the Yeudi Heritage has continued to remain a main focus for media and mainstream culture for than a century, now. Alongside Gem Publishing's Heritage Trials and controversial book series The Meddling Affairs, popular blockbuster franchise "War of Lost Souls" is the latest medium to shine the spotlight on the craze.

Unearthed by Heritage Films and Valoir Studio, Elior's Oath appeared in obscure scrolls from an age that the Sacred Monarchy of Beiteynu reigned mighty, from Ishmael I's coronation in 908 as the 1st Yeudi Monarch to the 1200s, when the chaos of the 1st Yeudi Homeland's collapse led to the Yeudi Diaspora; foretelling the legends of the Avnayheim that had yet to pass, and the embodiment of the Yeudi Heritage by Elior and his bloodline.

Both producers confirmed that they had worked with historians and analysts from Vanuku and Jelbe to validate the oath's related artefacts.

The Knesset is expected to confirm the motion recently submitted by the Heritage Foundation.

Out of the great sea - מתוך הים הגדול,
to the Holy Land I am come - למולדת אני בא;
in this place I will abide - במקום הזה אשאר,
until my heirs - והיורשים שלי
will once again rise - שוב יעלה.

Central bank completes transition to LFR in Beiteynu
May 5489

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - While the transition within the borders of the Homeland has been performed with relative ease comparatively, the real challenge is implementing the change across the Yeudish Neset, transforming the LFR as a medium for both Yeudish transactions and capital abroad, as well as transactions and capital present in Tel Bira's international stock exchange, the Menayot (which houses indexes from numerous industries and markets internationally).

To achieve this, the Central Bank of Beiteynu has been working closely with MOFIN and MOTI on administrative reforms revolving around the Bureau of Keshef Management, which has traditionally cooperated with Yeudish financial institutions to regulate and oversee investments domestically and abroad.

The idea is to reform the bureau so as to allow it to work directly with and coordinate efforts between Yeudish financial institutions and the Yeudish Neset's commerce and trade related attachments, including with the Bannerpakt from Narikaton and Darnussia, the Royal Institute of the Franc (RIF) from Lourenne (which recently released global banking policies and guidelines), and even potentially the MEC that's currently being brokered by Badara for Majatra.

A number of "reshuffles" and acquisitions is rumoured to take place in the banking industry, including the twofold entry and establishment of headquarters and operations by Canrillaise and Yeudish financial conglomerates in Beiteynu and Lourenne, accordingly.

"Centralised militarism is over"; Kohav urges other states to take the lead
June 5489

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Citing the Beiteynuese Naval Command's significantly decreased firepower compared to its stature before the war with Lourenne and Hobrazia's current deliberation to enter the JAMS Agreement, the Kohav (Military Command) has been in talks with Narikaton and Darnussia in order to help convince the Homeland's 1 of 2 remaining allies (the other being Lourenne via the Altatepec Treaty) to take the lead in naval operations.

The Head of the Kohav confirmed earlier this morning the extensive rumours that the intended goal of a potential series of joint naval exercises is set to extend the Yishelhafen Pact in the Migrant's Pass with the MSCO (with Deltaria and Badara hopefully taking the lead) and the JAMS Agreement, also inviting Dundorf, Luthori, Malivia, Kirlawa and, should the Hobrazian Government decide to join the framework, Hobrazia, as well.

In Dundorf's case, the Medinat Dpt. has also given the "thumbs up" in terms of bringing N&D and Dundorf closer together in terms of Artanian security affairs, also offering the northern state an opportunity to flex its muscles with its recent naval build up.

Additionally, as the Kohav's suggested "mock battleplan" focuses around "driving enemy forces eastward to the South Ocean", the Medinat Dpt. has also suggested inviting Lodamun, Kalistan, Baltusia and Gaduridos, though refrained from commenting on the logistics (presumably in reference to passage via Aldegar).

On Luthori, Eli Kadiyot commented how "this is an opportunity for Fort William to show it can play with others".

-

It seems that the overall intention of the Kohav and the Beiteynuese Government is to balance out the Yeudish navy's noticeably decreased impact by:

1. Uplifting Deltaria's and Badara's tactical command within Majatra and the MSCO's framework (as Beiteynu can no longer maintain sustained defence)
2. Fostering security cooperation in Artania (which has been severely lacking) through the leadership of Narikaton and Darnussia and Dundorf
3. Enabling states from Seleya to increase their military awareness as part of Beiteynu's obligations in the Altatepec Treaty on enforcing self-determination

The Head of the Kohav stated:

Simply put, the age of centralised hegemonic-militarism by countries like Dorvik and even Beiteynu is over. We have all bore witness to the results of the B&L, once the alliance was turned on its head.

Decentralisation in military affairs is now a critical element of deterrence, moving forward.

Bullies with better specs should not dictate anything, anywhere.

-

When asked about the significant budget cuts to the military, the Head of the Kohav commented:

Folks seem to underestimate the astronomical costs of maintaining carrier strike groups. We had 4, fully equipped and of the highest order, with hundreds of jet fighters, numerous warships and thousands of personnel. We were even paying for a joint base in Badara. Not to mention operation costs during wartime.

It's very hard to imagine the true impact of losing not 1, but 2 of these formations during a war.

Disbanding the 3rd one saved the BDF an amount upwards of 250M LFR per year. The new petite Kadima formations are not meant for sustained battle.

On Beiteynu's role in potential joint operations of such a supranational nature, he said:

We are not meant to sustain direct battle and continuous firepower. We focus on agility and deterrence. Should such joint efforts take place ultimately, Beiteynu's role will be that of a follower, and a follower not directly involved, but deployed tactically to the "flanks" of wartime scenarios.

Cachtica and Bier Qassem are already aware of our renewed doctrines; Bannerhafen, as well, of course.

We can bomb from afar, if need be.

Communists denounce current state of affairs; Cite the loss of national sovereignty.

It would seem efforts to improve Beiteynu do not translate as something good to some, and in this case, the recent formal adoption of the LFR has seen the Communist Party of all people to be among the opponents of the LFR. Alongside the usual anti-capitalist rhetoric, the CPBH has taken a unique avenue of criticism, an almost nationalist position, denouncing the government for "quickly embracing economic imperialism" and "abandoning Beiteynunese history and culture in favour of a currency from an imperialist power." With the CPBH organizing a handful of rallies and protests that hardly amounted to anything, the CPBH is getting its name out there unfortunately.

However, this lays a dangerous precedent. Not only denouncing the Yeudi Way but now denouncing efforts to improve the economy, the CPBH can be diasterous for Beiteynu should they ever be elected. The CPBH has gone out of its way to even insult the monarch, calling him a "parasite freeloading off of the people's hard work." All of these controversial statements certainly don't help with the already worrying reputation that the CPBH has garnered. Any mainstream politician who has addressed the CPBH has unexpectedly denounced the CPBH as extremists.

Regardless, the CPBH has remained the biggest critic of the government, regardless of what good it does. While this has seen the party make more ground in popularity unfortunately, it also has made the party viewed as just that. Endless criticism and nothing more. But regardless, this adds to the neverending controversy surrounding the CPBH. From opposing the Yeudi Way to denouncing the monarch, there are no limits to what the Communists will do or say.
"Yet I am here, and here I shall remain to behold the world in all it's beauty."

Aristocrat-Goldbloom Administration enacts series of critical BeiGov reforms in attempt to capitalise on recent economic changes
February 5490

- A Yeudish Lobbyist sneezed violently when she was asked about the communist party's latest remarks (could not comment ultimately)
- Digitali Nimshal reports "hardware difficulties" across the world in regards to the unending network-related shortages and high ping; experts continue to shrug
- Hummachio ice-cream becomes the latest craze in Badaran-Yeudi cuisine: we will investigate further!
- Prominent Lourennais-Yeudi businessman swamped in court proceedings for cheating on his wife
- Op-ed: a reminder how the Jelbic have been and will always be the masters of Terran civilisation

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - The war with Lourenne and its post-war consequences, now counting almost two decades of a recession in Beiteynu and a systemwide stagnation in the Yeudish Neset, exposed the reality of the Homeland's virtual wealth to the point it can no longer be denied or avoided. As both the Vandam World Economic Report and the Saham Global Trade Index (former Olami Trade Association of the Ministry of Finance) noted, Beiteynu's obfuscated sense of its GDP was a facade of undue confidence essentially hiding the foreign origins of Tel Bira's capital, nets and assets.

The trillions that Yishelem hedged against in debt have never been Beiteynuese.

-

Grappling with this new financial reality, both the Jacobstone (Warmongerstone) and Aristocrat-Goldbloom Administrations have attempted to "balance the scales" of these "virtual losses", especially after Petrik Hadayot, a Seleyan-based Yeudish shipping titan, collapsed, taking down the Yeudish Neset's rather "imperialist" dominance in the continent with it. Since then, Seleya has been met with astonishing local and regional growth, aided by the Altatepec Treaty.

By "imperialist", we mean the Artanian-Yeudi Benowitz House that popular culture has painted as the "evil guy" in recent decades.

Bannerpakt and Altatepec certainly aided; adopting the LFR as a medium for the world's current trade backbone will certainly "push the ship" in the right direction; and the network itself has grown, of course, with the addition of new states and the remarkable growth of existing ones.

But that still doesn't help Beiteynu itself.

-

As the Homeland "feeds" of the network's growth, it will take years and years before the ripple effect, positive this time, reaches the Holy Land - especially considering how Yishelem and the Aristocrat-Goldbloom Administration now have to tackle one unavoidable scenario. Beiteynu's debt to GDP ratio now sits at a 165.7%; which is not the actual problem, if you factor in a steadily returning investor confidence, growing on the LFR's gravitas.

A lack of fiscal policy addressing the reality of Beiteynuese vs Yeudish money in borrowing, is the actual problem.

You just can't sustain a debt on a 10 trillion LFR GDP, when your actual GDP is only half of that.

Luthorian preacher sings Lord's Prayer in the Yeudi language in Yishelem
February 5490

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Our nation has always been the sacred home of the Yeudi people, but to our Hosian bretheren it also a holy place, where their Spirit of G-D came to Terra and spread his message. Every year various Hosians from Luthori visit Yishelem on a quest to come closer to their Lord and Saviour. Yesterday was such a moment where much of the Luthorians visited our capital in Yishelem. Close to an old Hosian Church, build during the times of the glorious Kingdom of Yishelem.

Andrew Connor, famous Luthorian singer and prominent member of the Holy Luthori Church and proud evangeliser came to Yishelem to sing the Lord's Prayer in the capital. His beautifull song attracted various people from high and low to witness the beautifull song. As it was sung the crowd joint hands or reached for the sky. For all Hosians watching it was a truely spiritual happening. Bringing them closer to their maker and their Lord. How wonderous is religion that it brings people together miles from home!

The pilgrimages to the Yeudi capital have been increasing from Luthori ever since Emperor-King Albert took the Yeudi Crown. Bringing the Yeudi's and the Luthorian Hosians closer together than they have been in centuries. Will this remain in the future? We hope! Not only is it a good thing to bring brother people's together but also to have discussions amongst faiths. Lets pray that our two nations and our two faiths remain connected!

Sholem Acres files for bankruptcy
May 5490

Sholemberg, Beiteynu - Another shipping conglomerate focused primarily in northwest Seleya and central Artania has fallen victim to the stagnating elements of the Yeudish Neset, as competition from foreign markets continues to pose an uncontrolled risk due to a lack of proper fiscal policies from the Homeland.

Sholem Acres now becomes the 3rd Yeudish shipping conglomerate that collapses, following Sholemberg Sealine's uneasy demise during the Trigunian turmoils back at the onset of the 54th century in 5311 and Petrik Hadayot's fall from Seleyan dominance during the war with Lourenne.

The conglomerate's assets are set to be sold across multiple competitors, including Hadayim and companies from Narikaton and Darnussia and Kundrati.

It represents the last Yeudish company with extensive shipping rights in Valruzia.
