Aldegar removed from Reshimat Hara as new rigid policy goes into effect
November 5490

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Following the beginning of government reforms around the economy and the Yeudish Neset earlier this year, the Aristocrat-Goldbloom Administration moved on to the Reshimat Hara (Yeudi Shitlist) after Eli Kadiyot's Medinat Dpt. applied extensive pressure in favour of a policy amendment.

We just can't move forward without deterrents against ourselves, especially as we ask nations to trust us while they leverage our network.

-

Just like the BDF's tiered Azhara Doctrine of 5346, the Reshimat Hara will now include 2 levels:

1. Guideline issued across the Yeudish Neset to cease all diplomatic and commercial relations, optionally applicable only after a 1st Azhara has been issued
2. Policy applied across the Beiteynuese Government to cease all diplomatic channels, with no effect across the Yeudish Neset whatsoever

-

As such, Aldegar's prior existing level 4 (now considered level 1) has been lifted entirely. Xsampa is set to remain on level 2 as the Medinat Dpt. continues to maintain a position of not wanting to engage with the Dovanian state, citing recent "diplomatic debacles".

Dorvik, Kafuristan and Trigunia will be issued a renewed level 1, with the Medinat Dpt. once again advising Yeudis to steer away from "rogue states", which "have displayed a historic behaviour of doing as they please without consequences", according to the Head of the Medinat Dpt., Mr. Kadiyot.

North Dovani and Solentia will remain on level 2.

Badaran-Yeudi "Hummachio" ice-cream recipe becomes all the rage
April 5491

Image

Bier Qassem, Badara - "A confusing delight" is the most apt description of the pistachio-hummus flavoured ice-cream of Badaran-Yeudi origin we could find in our journey to Bier Qassem. In fact, Badaran pistachio flavoured ice-cream started popping up in popularity as early as 5460, even before the war.

There's a "Yeudish heaviness" to it, reminiscent of the hot desert air and scarcity of water of some regions of both countries, immediately making you thirsty. It seems that much like all things Yeudi, this hummus-based recipe also comes with a punch at the end - feels great at first, then you regret it later.

But you just can't stop wanting more of it, for reasons you can't exactly explain; when you don't really need it.

Who would have thought that chickpeas, smashed chickpeas (hummus), a little bit of tahini and a pistachio mixture could be served ice cold. However, the best variation of this "confusing delight" ice-cream recipe we could find included bits of chocolate from Dundorf, which lately seems to be sold everywhere.

Guess there is no limit to the hummus variations that everyone's susceptible to in the Yeudish Neset.

Valoir Studio amps up promotion on upcoming release of part two
June 5492

Image

Valois, Lourenne - Almost 7 years in the making, the 2nd installation of "War of Lost Souls" fell to delays and production difficulties as all three studios kept struggling with the complexity of the war's background storyline spanning decades, centuries and even thousands of years. "The coherency of the story was in jeopardy", one of the studio's executive producers commented, citing how it was important to provide viewers with an "adequate explanation" for the war.

The intense scandals and cases opened up by the Yeudish Bureau of Investigations (which also got Gem Publishing in its sights) in recent years have also represented "noticeable hindrances", since a ridiculous number of entities got implicated - YBI is also reportedly looking into the death of Meleh Gabriel.

However, the 5492 Valois Film Festival in Lourenne seems to have reignited a sense of "timely opportunity for a release".

With marketing and promotion efforts amping up on Part Two of the franchise (rumoured to be a trilogy), viewership of Part One has been increasing again according to multiple streaming services, which have also jumped on the "promotional train" as hype builds up once again.

Heritage Films continues to neither confirm nor deny that the "smoking rose" on the franchise's promotional material represents the Holy Luthori Empire.

Part Two of War of Lost Souls grosses 1.23 billion on opening weekend
February 5493

Valois, Lourenne - (Video) The long anticipated 2nd installation of blockbuster and multi-awarded franchise "War of Lost Souls" grossed 1.23 billion on its opening weekend, with social media going ablaze on the movie's "intense build-up" and the cliffhanger that left audiences "itching" for Part Three.

The number of nations implicated in the movie is just too ridiculous to even mention them; it still, of course, revolves around Lourenne ... and Luthori.

If you missed out on Part One, you can watch it here.

Catch the plot of Part Two, here.

Part Three reportedly in production by Heritage Films
July 5493

Image

Valois, Lourenne - With the cliffhanger from Part Two fresh in audience memories, the Yeudish film producer and distributor from Lourenne went to quickly confirm on social media last week that production on the 3rd - and final - installation of blockbuster franchise "War of Lost Souls" was already underway.

Heritage Films also reported that the script for the final movie was developed during production for part two, allowing the producers to "get a jump start", in what will hopefully be a shorter time period compared to the almost 7 years between part one and two.

Meanwhile, part two has surpassed 2.5 billion LFR, projected to gross a hefty total of 3.2 by the end of the summer.

Yaldavir introduces Asheer Needi (Way Too Rich) private jet
February 5495

Image

Amshinov, Beiteynu - Aviation partnerships between Beiteynu and Narikaton & Darnussia have so far been lacking, as Yeudish manufacturers have historically preferred to cooperate with their counterparts from Istalia, Kundrati and Lourenne (on both jet fighters and civil aircraft). Curiously enough, NarikMissile Co. is in fact the only Narik & Darnussian company that has dubbed in aerospace related projects with Sato since 5458.

Why curiously, you might say?

While Kundrati has long shared co-production on various missile weapons systems for now more than 100 years, including the Hetz anti-ballistic missile weapons system (which it barely uses and has never expanded upon), nobody noticed that NarikMissile Co. had recently joined Passschiffe Bau AG, Beir Leshet and Canrille Defense Enterprise in 5479 to help produce cruise missiles for the very specialised - and very classified - Nerkama-class warship.

What's so curious about that?

Basically, Bannerhafen is in fact in possession of Yeudicho IRBMs; and capable of producing them and even diving into independent R&D.

-

Thus, the aviation scene of the Narik and Darnussian industry, both civilian and military, made great leaps in the last few decades, boosted by the Equifund, largely unnoticed by struggling competition from countries that Beiteynuese investors and manufacturers alike have tried to lift up, for decades.

As a result, the assumed "divide" between Beiteynuese and Narik & Darnussian aviation partnerships has all but disappeared, giving birth to this new, very luxurious, elitist and totally obnoxious private jet, reserved for the outmost top of the top of the Yeudish Neset.

In fact, it's supposed to be so good that our very own Rosh HaMemshala David Aristocrat-Goldbloom, a rather wealthy individual himself, seeks to purchase one.

Kohav comments on Deltarian policy amendments; blasts central Artania
November 5495

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - "You can interpret it however you like, but no wishful thinking or diplomatic manoeuvring can change the fact that central Artania's behaviour in military affairs has been erratic, unpredictable and unreliable; a cheap and failed attempt at imitating Dorvish militarism", were the very first words of the Head of the Kohav (Military Command) in a press conference earlier this morning, when he was asked about Cachtica's recent defence policy amendment concerning non-interventionism in Majatra, including Deltaria's withdrawal from TAMS, a joint security framework with Kundrati and Saridan.

TAMS came into being during a short-lived resurgence of rather aggressive Deltarian influence, which, before resulting into an embarrassing policy roadblock with the MSCO, rumour has it that it interfered between Kundrati and Selucia when the former sought to establish military presence in the latter.

Which is quite the oxymoron, considering how Yishelem had allowed both Kundratijan and Luthorian naval forces in Beiteynu for quite some time, before that, in an effort to help enable both of its former allies from Artania to expand their influence and enhance the Yeudish platform of internationalism for Majatra.

Efforts that were never leveraged by either, with the Kohav now citing that "it's too late".

We are aware that the Beiteynuese Government and specifically the Medinat Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are currently attempting to engage in a trilateral discussion with Kundrati and Selucia.

While we wholeheartedly endorse Cachtica's decision not to pursue TAMS with Saridan stemming from our obligations towards neutrality in Seleya through the Altatepec Treaty with Lourenne, Kalistan, Dundorf, Narikaton and Darnussia and Gaduridos, we can only surmise that Kasaema is attempting to regain ground in Majatra with the sole intention of upending the MSCO's policies and Beiteynu's predisposition after the war in barring Kundratijan military.

Make no mistake, to us, this looks like back-channeling done in bad faith.

Certainly not the best way to repair relations.

When asked why the Beiteynuese Government maintained such a staunch stance, he commented:

What is there for us to look at and swell with confidence and trust?

The countless failed attempts at stabilising the AU? The not 1, but 3 regional conflicts in Malivia, Ikradon and Kirlawa that bore absolutely no fruit in proper and reliable military cooperation in Artania? Mind you, the 1st Malivian crisis we essentially had to deal with ourselves. Also, Kirlawa happened while JASA was being formed. No JASA then, no JASA now. Hell, the only cooperative vehicle is JAMS, which is essentially us Majatrans telling Artanians how to do it.

Or, shall we trace to Luthori's and Kundrati's overall disregard of JAMS? Kundrati's erratic behaviour during the war? The fact that a state we considered one of our biggest allies not only betrayed us, but helped destroy our navy, costing the lives of hundreds of Yeudish sailors?

Or our other ally that never came to our aid, barked away and then spat on the Altatepec Treaty during that Baltusian fiasco?

A heartbeat away from these things spilling over to the point that we were absolutely relieved when Lodamun recently expanded its military operations in the Artanian Sea and the South Ocean; regions we've come to assess as high risk due to failed and incoherent policies from central Artania.

For a slight second, he hesitated and returned to the podium, adding:

No, no, you tell me. Should we just roll over and trust our lives with central Artania after all of this?

Cause we did. And we died for it.

Beiteynu issues formal apology to Lodamun; compensation to be expedited on loss of Harrington Company vessel during the war
November 5495

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - One of the lesser known events from the War of Lost Souls was the destruction of a Harrington Company vessel and the loss of both Lodamese property and lives; a fact that the Aristocrat-Goldbloom Administration has much disregarded, adding further to the shame. Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has thus far avoided to comment on it, Rosh HaMemshala David Aristocrat-Goldbloom has been widely criticised for the "inaction and lack of prioritisation" in addressing Lodamun's requests, as well as the Harrington Company's compensation claims filed with the Sedek (Justice System).

Merchant General Doug Halleck's recent visit to Yishelem ended in a "kind of stuttering" on behalf of the MOFA and the Medinat Department, with neither being able to justify the extensive delays in compensation related proceedings, which have been moving at "snail's pace", according to a general - and rather concise - criticism aimed at the Beiteynuese Government by the Harrington Company's Chief Factor, Dr. Williamson.

Although the Meleh (King) was not present in Beiteynu and the PM's availability was limited, the meetings ended with an agreement that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would eventually issue a formal state apology to Lodamun and the Harrington Company, on behalf of the Yeudi Homeland.

War is an ugly business with extensive collateral - but that does not change the fact that a Lodamese civilian vessel was caught in the cross-fire, as engagements in the Sea of Lost Souls had began to spill northwards to the strait between Saridan and Badara.

As such, the Homeland State of Beiteynu issues a formal apology to the Commonwealth of Lodamun for this sad and shameful incident and thus vows to make the compensation proceedings - a case the Beiteynuese Government will not seek to dispute - an absolute priority for us.

Compensation is expected to surpass the whopping amount of 1.18 billion LFR, citing the loss of both cargo and lives.
