The Yishelem PostSupranational naval exercise concludes in the Artanian SeaNovember 5395Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command was joined by Kavin Mahorit of the Kohav, the Minister of Defence himself, Agresiv Difens and naval officers from Kundrati, Luthori, Alduria and Lourenne in a press conference this morning to celebrate the conclusion of the Reshout Naval Exercise, a multi-stage supranational initiative in multiple regions spanning Beiteynu, the Sea of Lost Souls in southeast Majatra and the Artanian Sea.
Originally planned in
5368, the project fell victim to extended delays and logistical problems stemming from the lack of combat experience, the unprecedented scale of the exercise in Beiteynuese history and the adhoc formation of the Hanzenese CSG under the structure of the Zaar Fleets
years later. As the Beiteynuese Naval Command scrambled to coordinate and patch the inconsistencies, the combined expertise of Kundrati, Luthori, Alduria and Lourenne did contribute extensively to finally undertaking the initiative, albeit spanning across the years.
Agresiv Difens, the Minister of Defence, made the following statement:
The conclusion of this naval exercise is a Yeudi statement that the world no longer reflects its past hegemonic alliances.
As parts of this exercise were in close proximity to Malivia and Likatonia, it is presumed that there will be some form of response from respective governments, albeit none of the officials confirming nor denying any coordination when asked by the media.
The recent Dolgavan-Luthorian tensions may also be impacted by this initiative, as the geopolitical landscape continues to shift in the north.
Homeland defence with Kundrati, Luthori and LourenneThe first stage of the exercise involved the Hofesh Fleet and the Nimshal Carrier Strike Group, which led a series of incursion and invasion exercises while the Kundrati naval forces joined up with both the Second Royal Fleet of Lourenne stationed in Himmelshtern and Beiteynuese defensive flotillas across the northwest with the Lekavot Fleet to "defend the homeland" from the northward moving forces in Rishon Le Hofesh.
Concluding the homeland part of the exercise, the Second Royal Fleet, Kundrati forces and the Lekavot fleet were led by the Hofesh Fleet's Nimshal Carrier Strike Group to join up with the 4 destroyers of the Luthorian 6th Flotilla, 1 frigate from the 5th and 2 submarines from the 2nd Submarine Squadron currently deployed and stationed in the north bank. The goal was to stop the blockade performed by the Yeudi Fleet's Reshout Carrier Strike Group and the infamous 4th Flotilla, as the force moved towards the north bank from the Migrant's Pass to disrupt maritime commerce.
The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command stated the following:
Yishelem's call to its allies in the defence of the homeland has been met with fervour and loyalty from our allies, who took part in an extended coastline exercise and rose up to the challenge in spectacular grace; the level of coordination has been impressive. The Beiteynuese navy looks forward to continued military cooperation, especially as Dankuk, Alduria and Hanzen have expressed an interest in joining up the supranational essence of the defence of our homeland.
When asked whether the blockade was "defeated", he chuckled, adding:
It wasn't. The Reshout Carrier Strike Group and the 4th Flotilla of the Yeudi Fleet have almost 2 centuries of combat expertise and experience in the region, since the times of the 1st Malivian Crisis. Their knowledge of these waters is unparalleled.
However, the gains and learnings for Kundrati, Luthori, Lourenne and the Hofesh Fleet's Nimshal Carrier Strike Group were significant.
MSCO and the Majatran SeaAlthough initially planned to include MSCO naval forces in the Migrant's Pass and the Majatran Sea, the recent stabilisation efforts in the continent including but not limited to the decrease of military presence in the Migrant's Pass and the diminishment of Beiteynu's participation in MSG 3 in the southwest under Zardugal, the plans were scrambled to avoid creating unnecessary adversary tension with any member states; especially as Solentia has chosen to withdraw, once again.
Kavin Mahorit of the Kohav had the following to state about the MSCO and the Majatran Sea:
It was our intention to perform a battle group in the Majatran Sea with Deltaria and Cildania, as both our homeland carrier strike groups from the Hofesh Fleet and the Yeudi Fleet would meet up with the Lourennais CSG south of Cildania.
However, out of respect to the organisation and member states, considering no participation interest was declared, we can confirm no such plans took place.
Instead, the 3 CSGs met up in the South Ocean and traversed to the Artanian Sea directly, for the final stage.
The Beiteynuese Naval Command will continue granting docking rights to MSCO member states traversing the continent.
Sea of Lost Souls with Alduria, Lourenne and IstaliaIn another change of the original plans considering the addition of Alduria to Beiteynu's network of military allies, the incursion in the Sea of Lost Souls between the southeast tip of Majatra in Istalia and the southwest point in Seleya with Alduria was led by the newly founded Lourennais Fifth Royal Fleet, established in
5383, expanded
shortly afterwards with the deployment of a Zaar Fleet in Alduria under Aldurian and Lourennais command.
As both of Beiteynu's foreign deployments in Istalia and Alduria are under the structure of the Zaar Fleets and thus under the direct command and supervision of command structures of host nations, our navy's involvement was entirely as a follower, focused on training Aldurian officers in intelligence and reconnaissance.
Artanian Sea with Kundrati, Luthori and Lourenne under a Carrier Battle GroupIn concluding the multi-stage supranational exercise, the Nimshal Carrier Strike Group and the Reshout Carrier Strike Group met up with the Lourennais CSG in the South Ocean to traverse the long waters to the Artanian Sea. The Carrier Battle Group of more than 25 warships and led by 3 Queen Isabelle aircraft carrier met up with most of Kundrati's naval forces south of the island of the Etxea, which were joined by the Luthorian 4th and 6th Flotillas.
The massive CBG of more than 60 warships undertook a series of anti-blockade and anti-piracy manoeuvres in the Artanian Sea in what has been cited as a "flexing of allied muscles" by military experts, especially highlighting the steady regional dominance by Fort William since
5386 with Likatonia.
The CBG "parked" in the island of Etxea for a soccer tournament, which Luthori won after an "unfair" red card saw the Yeudi goalkeeper removed.
