The recent resurgence of the Hutorian Government has pushed the finance sector in Eroncourt into a capitalist frenzy. Big banks are scrambling to reassess their assets after Gold Lion Capital announced that their international headquarters would move back to Hutori. The company, who held their offices at 12 Rue Boulogne in Eroncourt, stated that a new subsidiary would take over the offices instead of a full clear exit from the Lourennais economy. The new subsidiary, Capitale Canrille, will continue to offer services from Gold Lion Capital in Lourenne instead of the parent company. Customers and institutions who used services from Gold Lion Capital will be transferred to Capitale Canrille and be offered services better suited for the Lourennais global market. The news of Gold Lion Capital’s exit did worry some investors at the Eroncourt-East Stock Exchange. Many were worried that the new subsidiary would not be able to compete with the bigger financial institutions in Lourenne that dominate the market.

Yet, Renault-Laurent Global (RLG), the major company in Lourenne that covers credit ratings, indices, and market performance, continued to rank Capitale Canrille as the third largest financial institution in Lourenne. Only Moreau-Vandam and Banque Nationale continued to outpace Capitale Canrille–as expected. Board Directors from Moreau-Vandam were “eager” to see the new horizons that Capitale Canrille could reach in the Lourennais market as a new subsidiary. With new opportunities rising in South Seleya facilitated by the giant Lourennais financial sector, the Canrillaise market could be one of the most profitable in Terra. Natalie DuMarquis, Hutori’s Foreign Affairs Minister, was in Eroncourt this week speaking to the Royal Ministers of Economic Development and of the Treasury. She previously traveled to Eroncourt once the Hutorian government retook leadership, but was once again invited by the Royal Government. DuMarquis expressed her great interest in continuing Lourennais-Hutorian relationships, specifically an economic one.

DuMarquis inquired about the use of the Green Wealth Fund and the Royal Investment Fund for Hutorian use as well as direct investments from the United Kingdom’s primary bank, Banque Nationale. A guarantee was made that the Green Wealth Fund and Banque Nationale would be used to promote economic growth in Hutori to further enhance relations between both nations. While credit ratings remain high and interest rates low, the Hutorian government was eager to secure Lourennais investments for long term use. Thanks to negotiations and precedent of close relations, their government has achieved their goal.
