Schwartz resigns as Permanent Representative to the World Congress, amidst world tensions
August 5400 - Beiteynu's voice in the World Congress "non-existent" as Schwartz steps down amid world tensions.
Also published on The Terran Times and distributed internationally

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Gabriel Schwartz, Beiteynu's Permanent Representative to the World Congress has announced his resignation from his post citing health reasons. Schwartz who has been absent from the General Assembly for months, has left Beiteynu's voice unheard especially in debates concerning Kafuristan and Badara in the General Assembly. His resignation comes after a controversial intervention by Katerina Sheket, the head of the Medinat Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who challenged Dorvik's role and actions in Kafuristan, claiming to have "intel" on Dorvish-Kafuri relations.

Schwartz who has served as Permanent Representative for many years issued a statement saying that he was "deeply grateful" for the opportunity to serve his country and the World Congress, but that he had to step down due to "personal health issues" which prevented him from fulfilling his duties. He did not elaborate on the nature or severity of his condition, nor did he comment on Sheket's response in the General Assembly. Sheket blundered her response to the Hutori representative, who questioned how Beiteynu had access to "intel" on Dorvish-Kafuri relations. Sheket stuttered and cleared her throat several times, before yielding the remainder of her time to the Beiteynuese Office of the Permanent Representative to the World Congress. The incident was captured by the media and went viral on social media.

Regardless, Schwartz, despite been absent for debate in the General Assembly, has been present to vote for the resolutions in the Security Council. Prime Minister Eliana Amira has accepted the resignation of Schwartz and announced the appointment of former Prime Minister Sharon Aristocrat-Goldbloom as the new Permanent Representative. She will be expected to introduce herself to the Security Council soon.

In related news, the Permanent Representative for the Majatran Security and Cooperation Organization (MSCO) Reuhen Wandsworth has also announced his resignation citing his old age. Wandsworth served as the country Foreign Minister in the 50s and 60s before his appointment to the MSCO. The Office of the Rosh HaMemshala has not yet announced a successor, but sources say that the search is underway and that a new representative will be appointed soon.

The Yishelem Post
King Elias Ishmael IV set to ascend on Friday 13th, December 5406
October 5400

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The Office of the Deputy Ramatkal Nefariouiem Aristocrat has released a communique on behalf of the Rosh HaMemshala including an executive invite to the coronation of Elias Ishmael, son of Her Royal Majesty Aviv Imo and Prince Edward of Luthori. Confirmed by the invite, the young Elias Ishmael is set to ascend to the Throne of Yishelem as Yeudi Monarch and King of the Homeland State after his 18th birthday in 5406.

Elias Ishmael will take up the House of Aristocrat-Villayn-Orange-Goldbloom in honouring his direct ties to the House of Elior via the Aristocrats (by his grandfather Nathaniel Aristocrat, husband of former Prime Minister Sharon Goldbloom), connecting the Yeudish with Luthorian nobility via the historic House of Villayn-Orange (the Armstead to be dropped) in elevating the stature of the Yeudi Monarchy after thousands of years of obscurity and in recognising the legacy of Elias Goldbloom, the pioneering Prime Minister who helped shape Beiteynuese administration and politics in its final form after legendary PM Nathan Weiss.

The invitation will be forwarded to dignitaries and diplomats across the world, as Yishelem attempts to restore its legacy through a "commoner" royalty.

Nefariouiem Aristocrat has repeatedly confirmed that albeit setting the stage for upcoming reforms of the Beiteynuese Law to take place in transforming it into the legislative-constitutional mix of the Hoq (Law), the composition of the Beiteynuese Government will thus remain the same.

The Hoq will honour the legacy of the House of Elior by decreeing that the Yeudi Monarch, regardless of origin, must always inherit their Yeudish heritage.

The Vamaj Network for decentralised oil and gas distribution
January 5401

Image

Sholemberg, Beiteynu - Hadayim CEO Gadol Benowitz and recently appointed Head of Imperial Vascanian Oil (IVO) Vikas Misra held a press conference yesterday noon from Hadayim's Beiteynuese headquarters in Sholemberg to announce that a draft of an upcoming international framework had been created with the help of the Medinat Department; the Deputy Head of the organisation was also present on behalf of Katerina Sheket - who is still being grilled heavily for her stuttering remarks on Beiteynuese intelligence in the General Assembly - to reaffirm the Beiteynuese Government's position on decentralised oil and gas distribution.

The 7-point document essentially sets the stage for a) Vascania to tap international markets directly and independently for customers, b) Beiteynuese companies like Hadayim, Birco and Petrik Hadayot to handle the first stage of the distribution chain across the Red Bass Ocean to Beiteynu and c) for Signatory Nations to leverage extensive docking rights on either ends of the aisle to either enable or directly handle second stage distribution.

Details on logistics, volume of supply and capability requirements on IVO's end remain on the table, with Lourennais PETRO having already confirmed that it will be an essential partner in the endeavour towards restoring Vascania's oil and gas industry to international competence.

Gadol Benowitz closed his remarks by stating that the Vamaj Network is not a "short-term solution", as it will take years to yield any results.

The Yishelem Post
Kohav downgrades DEFCON status and initiates scale-backs
May 5401

- Navy petitions the MOD's Department of Defence Contracts for the formation of a 4th Carrier Strike Group to enhance global deterrents
- Medinat Department sends communique reminding Majatran states that the MSCO is an equal platform of involvement, operations and command by every member state

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command was joined earlier this morning by Head of the Kohav (Military Command) Kavin Mahorit to confirm that all 3 CSGs in the southeastern region of Majatra have been downgraded to DEFCON 4 (battle stations ready), following the announcement of the Atyr Summit in Kanjor between Kafuristan and Beiteynu earlier this year, as well as the scale back advised by Lourenne and Luthori, in reponse.

When asked about Yishelem's position on the international military response, Kavin Mahorit stated:

Beiteynu and Majatra as a whole are immensely grateful for the scale of international response, not only on a diplomatic level but on a military, as well. We thank Kundrati and Hutori for their initiative in heeding the Security Council's calls and attempting to aid the MSCO.

On Luthori, Lourenne and Alduria - our allies - we extend our sincerest appreciation for standing with us and leading the way in the efforts.

The time has come, however, to relieve the pressure and focus on the bilateral relations between Badara and Kafuristan; as with everything Beiteynu facilitates, the Badaran - Kafuri region belongs to Badara and Kafuristan; it is imperative that we let them lead the way, now.

Under advisement by the Medinat Department, the Beiteynuese navy seeks to de-escalate the situation after a Hutorian warship was damaged during the anti-piracy operations in the eastern waters between Badara and Kafuristan, fearing the disruption of active peace talks.

Sources in the MOFA hinted that the Medinat Department "pulled the strings" quietly and rapidly immediately after the attack.

The supranational formation of the Mizrahi Carrier Strike Group composed of Lourennais, Luthorian and Kundrati warships led by the BEINS Mizrahi aircraft carrier will return to its deployment station in Hanzen, to continue ensuring that "no disruptions occur in the region" as Hanzen continues to prosper in peace. The Nimshal Carrier Strike Group will also be recalled from the region, however, high-ranking sources at the Medinat Department have hinted at active channels with Baofluz seeking to coordinate the temporary stationing of the CSG in the ports of Jelbe, citing the need for "rapid tactical response" in the Majatran Sea.

It is presumed that the Medinat Department will seek to broker a deal with Baofluz to transfer the CSG under the structure of Zaar Fleets, which will mandate that the operations of Beiteynuese forces stationed in Jelbe will fall under joint command with Baofluz and the MSCO.

The Reshout CSG will remain in the region, with Aldurian and Istalian Zaar Fleet deployments to scale back into the Sea of Lost Souls.

Medinat Department "pushes" for recognition of Kafuri regime
May 5401

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - In reaffirming its path towards brokering peace and the cessation of tensions between Kafuristan and the MSCO, the Beiteynuese Government's notorious "string master" Medinat Department has been pushing for the Amira Administration's leadership to recognise the Ba'athist Regime under stipulations, which may or may not be enforced during negotiations considering Yishelem's position of ensuring Kafuristan returns with "its head held high".

The Medinat Department has advised Rosh Ha'Memshala Eliana Amira to negotiate on the following points:

- Kafuristan's ascension to the MSCO and, by extension, its commitment to regional security and stability
- Kafuristan's delivery of those involved in the murders of foreign nationals to be extradited to Lourenne for trial
- Kafuristan's commitment to investing in repairing bilateral relations with Badara
- Kafuristan's assurances on restoring and solidifying oil and gas supply to Majatra

A certainty however lingers that Yishelem will not back down from the protection of Yeudis, especially as domestic turmoil flairs up in Badara.

Mounting pressure calling for Katerina Sheket's resignation after the General Assembly blunder continues to rise. However, considering the critical juncture that the situation is currently sitting at, an abrupt change of guard is highly unlikely, as it will impede ongoing efforts at peace.

The Yishelem Post
TRA offers Allink access to Badaran Government
July 5401

Amshinov, Beiteynu - The Allink has become known as one of the most sophisticated pieces of software and technology currently active - and in orbit - when it comes to reconnaissance and intelligence efforts. While not the best of hardware as it is comprised of first generation Ofeq satellites manufactured throughout the recent decades by Kadenite, the Allink is a network with notably integrated command circuits in Amshinov maintained by the Lavian, the Beiteynuese Government's supposedly non-military and non-intelligence agency in the North Bank, as it's based on intelligence sharing rather than counter-operations.

The Director of the Terran Remediation Agency cited the ongoing events in the continent and Al-e-Ahmad's most recent efforts in opening up a communication channel with Yishelem to further extend bilateral relations in also combating the increasing fears of domestic strife in Badara.

The Agency hopes that the satellite imagery will assist the Badaran military in locating recent resurgence activities with better accuracy.

Keshef
Vamaj Network hits the ground running
July 5401

Image

Sholemberg, Beiteynu - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a communique to interested parties on the publication of the Vamaj Oil & Gas Framework Agreement that is now available for ratification. Considering the current limitations placed on production, supply and distribution, the Medinat Department has advised states to keep their expectations low: setting the wheels in motion and reaching the end point of consistent supply will take the better part of the decade.

On the potential ratifiers in Majatra: Beiteynu, Barmenistan, Pontesi, Vanuku and Jelbe are the top candidates sitting on the western front and seeking to decentralise the dominance of the eastern front in the oil and gas industry. It's unclear whether Zardugal will take part.

On the southern end: it is expected that Cobura will become the final end of an extended 2 way oil pipeline stretching from the south all the way to Rishon Le Hofesh, as talks amp up with Jelbe, Vanuku and Barmenistan on a potential extension of the Vamaj Network.

Moving to the centre: while Selucia, Deltaria and Cildania remain the unknowns, Kalopia has already moved to ratification. It is safe to assume that Jakania will not be seeking to enter the network as a producer itself, now or in the future.

On the eastern front: the Medinat Department expects any ratifications as "highly unlikely", anticipating a variety of responses to the news from the traditional suppliers of the continent, that is Badara and Kafuristan, especially as tensions continue to seemingly subside.

Outside of the continent: Malivia and Alduria will be moving to ratification, with Kundrati remaining as the big unknown.

The Yishelem Post
Sheket resigns; Tobias Ilam appointed Head of the Medinat Department
November 5401

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Upon returning to Beiteynu, Katerina Sheket offered her resignation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a recommendation of appointment of Tobias Ilam in the organisation's helm, a former Director of the Terran Remediation Agency. Sheket's resignation comes after her recent statement in the General Assembly in response to the Hutorian Ambassador. Sheket acknowledged the Medinat Department's mistakes insofar as the coordinated response immediately after the attack on a Hutorian warship in southeastern Majatra, vowing also to recommend that the Amira Administration repairs bilateral relations.

Tobias Ilam is a graduate of the Nihasim University in diplomacy, having served decades as an analyst in the Terran Remediation Agency, Beiteynu's notoriously scandalous counter-intelligence organisation. He was one of the biggest supporters and pivotal to the rise of the Allink network of reconnaissance satellites.

The Yishelem Post
Brokering peace in southeast Majatra under duress
May 5402

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The crisis in Majatra sparked by the bloody coup of Kafuristan and the ensuing Beiteynuese - Kafuri tensions has now entered its 4th year of turmoil, with Yishelem scrambling to broker peace in southeast Majatra under heavy duress with 2 summits, in 2 different locations.

The Atyr Summit between President al-Mostafa of Kafuristan and Rosh Ha'Memshala Eliana Amira of Beiteynu has thus far been derailed by the violent explosion that had killed the Prime Minister in Kafuristan, also resulting in the arrest of the entire cabinet by the Dairat, Kafuristan's world-renowned intelligence agency. On the other end of the spectrum, Prime Minister Marwaan el-Sharif of Badara recently arrived in Avienne-les-Bains in Lourenne, to attend the Beiteynuese - Badaran summit with Her Royal Majesty Aviv Imo, Mertza (Steward) of the Yeudi Monarchy; that one has been accompanied by increasing domestic turmoil in Badara.

With markets shaken, confidence dwindling and no evident light in the tunnel, the situation in the southeast of our continent remains bleak.

Amidst the summits and the relentless presence of strife in both states, the Medinat Department has been brokering oil and gas deals throughout, spearheaded in large by the Beiteynuese shipping industry. The Vamaj Network with Vascania will ultimately unshackle West Majatra from the supply dominance of both Badara and Kafuristan, as talks of a western oil and gas pipeline with Lake Majatra are also in the works. The joint operations in the South Ocean by Lourenne and Luthori are also expected to "bring in" one more supply route to the Beiteynuese network in the coming years, amounting to a total of 3 oil and gas deals attempting to "break the monopoly" of the southeast. Rumours of an indirect deal with Trigunia via Dolgava float; however, confidence in Neftkomp remains at an all time low.

With the oil and gas game changing in the continent, it remains to be seen how Yishelem will continue its negotiations with both states, especially considering how the cohesion of the Kafuri scene seems at a peril; there has been no word on how Kafuristan intends to address its situation.
