Yingdala Launches 30th Satellite This Year

The space industry of the East's most advanced economy is alive and well. Shangshang Launch Corporation launched the 30th satellite this year in Jiaozhi State, a record for Yingdalan satellite launches. This milestone is demonstrative of Yingdala's advanced space capabilities and growing renown as a launch hub for companies throughout Terra.

With the 30th launch this year, the Yingdalan government foisted immense praise on Shangshang Launch, calling them a "Yingdalan institution necessary for the country's future." Satellite launches are, after all, an essential service in the modern age. They are both necessary for corporate operations and also a lucrative industry. This dual role makes satellite launch companies critical for national economies.

Throughout the year, Shangshang focused on communication satellites, its specialty. Commercial communication satellites made up 85% of Shangshang's payloads, with commercial cameras and telescopes making up the rest. However, the 30th launch was even more special. The launch marked Shangshang's first government satellite. Publicly described as a telescope for the study of celestial bodies, the satellite is believed to be a highly accurate spy satellite, able to close in on objects as small as a fly on a wall with minimal distortion. With the launch being a success, it is suspected that Shangshang will join the ranks of other contractors eager for government business.

Imperial Orchestra Commences Global Tour of Yingdalan Academies as Athletes Sent to Selucian Games

His Imperial Majesty the Son of Heaven, due to his desire for all people to enjoy Yingdalan culture, has resoundingly approved a request to allow the Imperial Orchestra to commence an international tour, visiting every Yingdalan Academy in Terra. The Imperial Orchestra, an Imperial Court institution, will go on tour immediately, beginning in Seko and ending in RIldanor. The tour follows the announcement that a contingent of Yingdalan athletes will be permanently stationed in Selucia to partake in their national games.

This will be the first time that the Imperial Orchestra has gone on tour. Primarily, the orchestra partakes in daily court rituals designed to please the gods and uphold social order. However, after protracted negotiation with the Son of Heaven, the orchestra has been allowed to demonstrate its prowess across the globe. While on tour, the Imperial Orchestra will play classical Yingdalan court music, as well as folk songs. Their goal will be to demonstrate the high and low culture of Yingdala to all the peoples of Terra. Second chair members will remain in Yingdala to perform their ceremonial duties.

The orchestra's tour comes at a time when the Son of Heaven ordered a cohort of Yingdala's top athletes to be permanently stationed in Selucia as "diplomats" to partake in the Selucian games. These games, designed to honor the Selucian gods, have begun to gain traction as a rallying cry for the pagan nations of Terra. While the athletes will compete in the games for honor and glory, they will primarily serve as a bridge between Yingdala and Selucia. It is believed that Yingdala desires a closer relationship with the West's cultural foundation to place a greater check on Deltaria.

The tour of the Imperial Orchestra and Yingdala's participation in the Selucian games will only contribute to Yingdala's role as Terra's soft power leader.

Yingdala Welcomes A New Political Party


臣請縛 (Chen Qing Fu), NLP's Chairman in the middle

Just months after The Middle Path (中間路徑) was founded, 民族自由黨 (National Liberty Party) entered onto the scene with its strict conservative principles and ideals. The party was founded in February 4848 by current party chairman, 臣請縛 (Chen Qing Fu). The party held a large gala for its first official event to begin its long process of gaining political power. At the gala, Chairman Chen told the participants, members and future leaders that the National Liberty Party will be a party that welcomes "minimal change" and will implement policies that protect the free market, restrain the government and is involved in the international arena.

The party is optimistic at its chances of gaining a majority in the 大會 (Grand Assembly) on the upcoming election in June of 4848. The country looks forward to an interesting showdown of two political parties willing to do what it takes to win the people over and gain political power.

The new parliament is elected and seated to begin a new session in the Grand Assembly

TIAN'AN, Han Province: Election Year 4848 brought with it a sense of something missing in Yingdala for years, an active and two-party government.

Battling to control the political power of Yingdala, The Middle Path and the National Liberty Party both battled it out on the campaign trail. Just months before the election, the NLP was founded and entered the political landscape hoping for a victory, however, was defeated in a crushing blow that gave the party 94 seats in the Grand Assembly while The Middle Path gained 656 seats. Controlling more than two-thirds of the Grand Assembly, TMP leader, Fan Lifen, proposed a bi-partisan cabinet that gave 5 cabinet positions to NLP while filling the remaining 8. TMP leader Fan was elected by all 750 members of the Grand Assembly to fill the role of Prime Minister for the next five years.

TIAN'AN, Han Province: His Imperial and Royal Majesty of Yindala Da Tong, Yu Wu, found dead in his room. He was 78 years old.

Early Friday morning at 06:30, members of the booi aha found His Imperial and Royal Majesty, Yu Wu, Son of Heaven, unconscious and non-responsive. The Imperial physician, Hiroshi Hideaki Kyo, rushed over to the bedside where he checked the vital signs of His Imperial Majesty. After 30 minutes of examination, Physician Hiroshi announced to the Head of the Imperial Household Agency and members of the booi aha that His Imperial Majesty was dead.

The news reached outgoing Prime Minister, Long Huo, and incoming Prime Minister, Fan Lifen, a few hours later while the Imperial Household Agency prepared the funeral ceremony and burial for His Imperial Majesty. Prime Minister Long, in his last address that evening before handing over control of the government to Prime Minister-elect Fan, announced the death of Yu Wu. His brief statement reads:

"Two hours ago, the head of the Imperial Household Agency announced to me and Prime Minister-elect Fan the death of our beloved Emperor Yu Wu. I and the members of the government are deeply saddened to see our Emperor depart from us as he finished his last duties as our Emperor. Long live the Yu Clan, long live Yingdala.

His Imperial and Royal Highness Crown Prince Yu Xi Gu was informed immediately while on tour of the Yingdalan naval bases. He immediately board his plane and landed in the nation's capital at 13:21 where he was seen walking down the steps of the plane alone as the weight of being crowned emperor was dumped on him in mere seconds. The Crown Prince did not make a statement immediately but went to the palace to view the body of his father, the late Emperor. His coronation is set to be on the 4th of August, within a month.

TIAN'AN, Han Province: The Heavenly Chariot has collapsed and now Yu Xi Gu will be crowned Emperor of Yingdala. The late-Emperor, His Imperial and Royal Majesty Yu Wu, now ascends to Heaven in a chariot led by yellow dragons. There, he will rest with his ancestors, the gods and godesses. The Emperor was buried in the mausoleum in the Royal Family Tombs outside of Tian'an. In attendance were members of the Royal Clan and the Court. All traditional rites were followed, carried out by the new Son of Heaven, Yu Xi Gu. A new dawn for Yingdala will now begin.

Upon arriving at the Heavenly Palace, His Majesty Son of Heaven Yu Xi Gu made his enthronement oath at the coronation ceremony, which was kept closed to the public:

I, Yu Xi Gu, follow in the footsteps of my ancestors who were just and led the people to wealth. They did not seek to punish the people, but treated them as their children with sincerity and impartiality. They became glorious in the sight of Heaven. Their officers were like tigers and their ministers virtuous. They helped to maintain and uphold the House of Yu, and thus Yingdala. Their high morals and abilities were blessed by Heaven. It is through this Heavenly Mandate that we rule, rule for the sake of the people. I ask all of you to help me uphold the royal house and Yingdala so that our people may benefit.

The Emperor of the Great Journey set the foundation for Yingdala's renewal. I will follow his path and carry out his wishes to restore Yingdala to its true place in Terra and to ensure its traditions are restored across the board. We will continue modernizing out military, advancing our economy, and promote our culture. We will not rest until the people are secure in virtue. To do this, Yingdala will engage in ambitious political reforms that will lead Yingdala into the future.

Emperor Yu Xi is taking on the strategy and likeness of the late-Emperor Yu Gong and continuing the legacy of the late-Emperor Yu Wu. Terra is witnessing the continuation of a traditional Yingdala.

TIAN'AN, Han Province: Rankings of Terran nation's were published by a non-partsian international organization today. The rankings had the National Liberty Party (NLP) leader and Grand Assembly Opposition Leader, Qing Kun Ah, livid.

His Imperial and Royal Majesty, members of the House of Yu, leaders of the national government and province leaders received a report that ranked nation's in Terra based on the level of performance within their respective countries. The report showed that the Yingdalan military is stagnant and ranked fourth (4th) in the world. However, what sent NLP Leader Qing over the edge was the downgrade of the Yingdalan economy from very strong to strong, placing us below ten other countries. In a letter to the Prime Minister, Leader Qing stated how "insulting" it is to see the country's ranking decrease. After years of the "wei wu wei" or "action without action" policy implemented by former Prime Ministers, the nation is now seeing the fruits of that policy. Leader Qing is now calling on the government to act to grow our economy. The letter from Leader Qing to Prime Minister Fan is shown below:

"Mister Prime Minister,

The recent rankings of Terran nations have come out. Our party is very concerned with the recent downgrade of our country's economic performance. We find it insulting.

We understand that it is not the fault of TMP or of you and your cabinet, and certainly not the fault of the NLP. While it may not be our fault, it is our problem to bear and to solve. In these times, in these situations, we must act fast in order to move the needle in our favor. Yingdala can no longer remain stagnant. Yingdala can no longer be seen as powerful yet useless. I implore you to act now while we are still strong.

The NLP will be drafting our own plan in order to increase economic growth as well as grow our military. With that being said, we hope that we can have a roundtable discussion to form a national plan to grow our economy. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you for the sake of Yingdala and for the sake of His Imperial and Royal Majesty, Emperor Yu Xi Gu.

While Leader Qing did not blame the Prime Minister, he did say that they must "bear" the problem on their backs and begin to implement policies that will turn our declining economy back into its former glory of being number one in the world. Leader Qing, when asked, has not revealed his economic growth plan but has stated that he is optimistic that NLP members in the cabinet will help implement these policies and regulations within their respective departments. In a statement to the press, Minister of Trade and Industry, Chin Bo Zheng, stated that:

"Our GDP is over 6 trillion INS, the largest in the world, and a population over 284 million Yingdalan citizens, the largest in the world. We must not let this all be for nothing. I have worked with Leader Qing to draft an economic growth plan that will grow audit our trade agreements, industries and sectors and increase our participation on the international level in order to ensure Yingdalan influence on a global level.

With such ambitious goals from the opposition party, we can expect, as communicated to us, their plan to include lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, better infrastructure, better education and better trade deals with foreign countries. We look forward to seeing their plan when complete. For now, the party has introduced in the Grand Assembly the Ensuring the Future of Yingdalan Capitalism Act that will steer the nation towards a more capitalist and free trade society.

Joint Ministerial Construction Project Underway
An ambitious plan to increase Yingdala's dependency on nuclear power with less focus on renewable energy.


Nuclear power plant construction blueprint released by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport

LIANGJIANG, Shu Province: In a press conference, Guo Change Heng, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, and Chin Bo Zheng, Minister of Trade and Industry, announced a joint construction project in Liangjiang, Shu. The construction project, as known as the Liangjiang Plant Project (LP Project), is set to begin construction at the end of this month and shall take two years to complete at a cost of $4.5 billion INS per construction year.

After the National Liberty Party leader announced his dismay for the country's declining economic numbers, he held a closed-door meeting with NLP members who were on Prime Minister Fan's cabinet. From sources who were in the meeting, the LP Project was discussed and a plan was drawn and implemented in January. The two ministries released a list of companies who are involved in the project. The companies include: Yingdala Electric, Yingdala Fengyu, Xiandai Group, Yingdala National Petroleum and Anle Range Academy of Natural Sciences. In this joint effort of public-private partnership, Yingdalan nationals will be hired to construct the nuclear power plant and to staff it once operational. Marshals at the National Fire Agency will oversee safety of the entire project.

Minister Guo at the project reveal event stated that:

Our goal with this project is to construct a 30GW nuclear power plant that will enhance the innovation infrastructure for nuclear technologies and vastly improve private sector access to our ministry's expertise and capabilities. This will demonstrate excellent performance, reduce costs and retire technical risks for advanced reactors. We look forward to the steady progression of the LP Project and the partnership that my ministry and Minister Chin's ministry have with each other and the private institutions involved in the project. We are one step closer to advance nuclear energy and one step closer to leading the world in nuclear production.

The LP Project is said to construct a 30GW nuclear power plant that will cost $9 billion INS over a period of two years. This will be the first 30GW nuclear power plant constructed in Yingdala and all of Terra. This project will employ over 5,000 Yingdalans and once operational, employ over 1,200 nationals to operate the plant. With the large amount of nuclear production, Yingdala may begin to export nuclear energy to other countries.

In a statement made by Minister Chin, he stated that:

The Ministry of Trade and Industry sees this project as an opportunity to grow our economy and increase our influence on the world stage through nuclear trade agreements and other aspects. My ministry will work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to construct these trade agreements so that both parties are benefitted from the work that is being done here today.

LP Project Progressing On Schedule
The LP Nuclear Plant Project set to finish construction two months ahead of schedule.



LIANGJIANG, Shu Province: LP Project Director Li Sun stated, in a letter to the press, that the project is set to finish two months ahead of schedule after receiving extra funding from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The extra funding totaled $2.5 billion INS, increasing the total project budget to $11.5 billion INS.

With the increased funding, Project Director Li hired additional construction workers and bought extra equipment and supplies. The funding came without a request from Director Li, however, with the increased budget, saw an opportunity to speed up production without curtailing the quality of the plant or the work that's being done.

The new completion date is set on 10 April 4851.
