LFR shoots up as Neset surpasses 45 states
February 5506

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - Despite recent regional troubles for Lourenne, the entry of 5 more states (Cobura, Kalopia, Rutania, Rildanor and Saridan) have firmly established the LFR as a transaction medium in the Yeudish Neset in Artania, Majatra and Seleya, ever since the Beiteynuese Government enacted relevant measures in the post-war era in 5489; with more measures that followed and made all things Yeudish based on the now global Lourennais currency.

The entry of Hutorian banks in the Yesheeva in 5503 not only empowered the commercial presence of financial institutions from Hutori across the Neset, but they also offered a compounding effect for Yeudish and Lourennais, as well. Amongst the world's most notable conglomerates in banking are Banque Moreau-Vandam, Royal Development Bank (which has funded numerous nationwide projects in multiple states) and Credit Canrille, with the Royal Institute of the Franc playing a pivotal role in helping coordinate and oversee international banking transactions across the Neset together with the Saham and the Bureau of Keshef Management.

Undoubtedly, the LFR's ascension as the pillar currency of the Yeudish network has placed these Canrillaise institutions firmly at the core of the lobbyist district in Yishelem, arguably holding the biggest amounts of influence, followed by Narikaton and Darnussia, Hutori and Kundrati.

Lobbying efforts increase in "shitlisting" Seko in the Neset
June 5506

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Seko's suspension from the WDU earlier this month was unsurprising; after all, the Palace of Oisy in Lourenne has been lobbying the organisation long before Eroncourt decided to cut ties and issue a diplomatic warning to its eastern neighbour this year. After all, the northwestern Dovanian state has been plunging deeper into domestic madness for 6 years, sprinkled with a foreign policy adamant at making an enemy out of the entire region.

Seko then started blurting out diplomatic attacks, peaking at forced mass-conscription across the entire state.

It seems, with the drums of war now echoing in the East, that Canrillaise lobbyists are not satisfied with the measures taken by individual states, nor Seko's expulsion from the WDU; these actions appear not to be making a dent with whatever the hell the Sekowan Government is these days.

Regardless of Lourenne's undeniable influence in the Yeudish Neset, there's a caveat; the 5490 policy dictates that the "shitlisting" across the 45+ states in the Neset can only occur after the Kohav (Military Command) issues the 1st Azhara, considering the widespread damage incurred by such an action.

And with Seko not acting against the Yeudi People - per se, the Medinat Dpt. does not even have a clear justification to cut ties, either.

Since, you know, the Yeudi Homeland has rarely cared about which way the wind blows in such matters.

MOFA seeks to address variety of geopolitical issues
March 5508

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The charismatic Beatrice Shavit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kadiyot Administration and a Lourennais-Yeudi herself from the gorgeous outskirts of Valois, the film haven of international notoriety, took the podium earlier this morning in Yishelem; in the Yeudi Homeland, the Medinat Dpt. is the one that tackles the nuances and complexities of Yeudish relations with other states and peoples but, sometimes, the MOFA descends from its higher altitudes to help administer a critical "dose of direction", whether a correction or a boost, is always up for grabs till the last second.

She began the press conference by addressing the topic of Kazulian efforts is ensuring stability in the face of unfolding events in Nsanlosa.

We are deeply grateful that Skalm reached out to us; we are also extremely thankful in their ice breaking aid earlier with our naval deployment northwest of Seko, as we sought - and still seek - ourselves to aid Lourenne in their perils.

However, we no longer have the military muscle to sustain a 4th active deployment in a region we have no interests in. By interests, I refer to our commitments via the Treaty of Altatepec and the Yishelhafen Pact, both of which we will honour to our outmost abilities. We still have Kadima I, a full CSG, parked in the 3rd Point.

Nevertheless, we will aid Kazulian and Hutorian vessels and operations with logistical aid - Kazulian forces are also welcome to traverse the treacherous waters of the Red Bass Ocean and seek shelter, refuel and replenishment in the ports of Himmelshtern.

That is the extend that the Beiteynuese Government will go to on the topic of Nsanlosa, for the foreseeable future.

We have no business in Dovani, much less policing Dovani or the world, something we have never done before, and will never do.

On the latest Baltusian press release which seems to be gathering international responses, she seemed to be lost in thought for a good 15 seconds before leaning in with her left elbow on the podium and appearing to relax (a bit surprisingly).

Let's just put aside the heat, for a moment.

While I don't really blame the Medinat Department for their response - the Jelbic people are proud people but...

[trails off]

OK, let me put it to you this way.

Why would we sign the BFTZ if in 50-100-150 years it will go obsolete? That's what the Beiteynuese Government took that the press releases meant, but on the receiving end in regards to Majatra. If things don't really matter after 100-200-300 years, why are we even bothering with them in the first place?

Isn't Baltusia trying to build a legacy here? Like the rest of us are trying to do? What if the next Baltusia came along in 100 years and diminished this Baltusia's efforts in a whim like nothing ever happened? Would we play along?

We Majatrans, and Yeudis, are very proud of our legacy and heritage.

When asked about Ikradon's recent diplomatic attacks, she smiled:

I'm sorry, what?

She blurted a "no more questions" hastily 2 seconds after a Sholemberg Post journalist popped a question on alleged weapons smuggling. But he was cut off in the commotion as the Minister exited the room and the question did not register as public record.

We naturally don't reach out to wannabe competitors for a follow-up.
