Massive military training
June 4853

Now that it has been 6 months since the release of the Alday and 8 since the re-release of the KS Vespacius, alongside many new ships and the F14 Phantom Tomcat, the Kundrati Military had a massive scale military training last week.

The training involved all three branches of the military, the army, the navy and the airforce. One of the main purposes of the training was to familiarise the troops with all the new equipment that has been released. Its other purpose is to help with the restructuring of the military. After the July Uprising, more than a decade ago, the military was extremely disorganised and it took a long time to restructure it. Many military generals were killed in the coup and so our current generals lacked the experience the previous ones had. The exercise helped them gain this experience and give their soldiers confidence in them.

The training went extremely well and the troops gained much experience from them.

Strong Endralon-Kundrati Military Cooperation

Over the past few months, Adrius Felix has been coordinating with Hugamest and the Endralonian government to bring Endralon's military and our own closer together. Although Kundrati has been putting out some good equipment in recent years, Endralon is far more advanced in its military tactics and equipment. Their military is also a lot bigger, in all three categories. Navy, army and airforce.

Because of this, earlier this year Kundrati opened its first military base abroad, by opening one in Endralon. Endralon did the same here. The bases are expected to bring our military cooperation together, as we will be able to share information with one another easier. The bases have already seen positive results, as an Endralonian engineer pointed out a small flaw in the recently released Altay tank. These bases are sure to lead to much more cooperation.

This past week we also had joint military training with Endralon. The training, that took part in an undisclosed location near the border, was there to help our military be more organised and to help Endralonian officials work with us, as we are close allies and it is important that we can work together seamlessly at a moments notice. The training lasted 8 days and was declared a great success. With Dorvik's "New Order" policy, it is important for Artanian nations to remain united as to not be controlled by the major power of our continent.

7 Unionfighters purchased from Dorvik

Today we received at the Kundrati International Port the shipment of 7 new Dorvish Unionfighters. They were purchased from the Artanian Defense Group for a little under 600M LOD. This, which Kundrati would usually not be able to afford, came to be due to the Egelian purchase of several ships. The funds we received from the purchase have mainly gone to the development and purchase of the Altay tank, and now to this. It is clear that Prime Minister Adrius Felix has a clear view that Kundrati should have greater military strength.

The new fighters have shown us how obsolete the F14 Phantom Tomcat really is against some of the most advanced planes in other nations. Because of this. It has been decided that the project must be scrapped. There were 2 more F14 being built but after their completion, there will be no more. Instead, KMW will focus its attention on developing a new aircraft for the airforce. What many saw as a triumph in the F14 is now a clear proof that KMW must up it's game. They have announced that they will spend the next 5 to 8 years developing a new, more modern aircraft.

The purchase has also raised questions, as the new Endralonian bases were assumed to show defiance to Dorvik. Adrius Felix clarified this with a statement:

Look, we do not approve of the New Order policy, and we will continue to challenge it diplomatically. But the reality is that we have learnt to not challenge nations that are vastly superior without a plan. Kundrati will remain to participate with Dorvik for the foreseeable future, as it is in our best interest. You must remember that we are no Endralon. We are not a power. And though Endralon is our closest ally, we cannot afford burning bridges with other powerful nations.

The statement did not receive much support, as many see as Dorvik as a massive threat to smaller Artanian nations. Among them is the majority of the Senate and the Cabinet.

For now, we must take advantage of the new fighters.

Relegation for the Kasaema Eagles
December 4854

Following the completion of the 4854 Kundrati Football League, the Kasaema Eagles finished at the bottom. This means that they will be relegated to the KFL B-League when the new season starts.

The Eagles have a tragic story, from coming up second on the 4846 KFL to this moment. Many point their performance in the 4849 LFG Terra League as the beginning of their end. They came back home defeated, especially after seeing their rivals, the Riverford Miners come back home after making it to the playoffs. What followed was a total collapse. The team's stars all left within the next 3 years and could not be replaced. They went from finishing second in 4846 to middle of the pack at 13th in 4850.

Then, in 4851, their directive team collectively walked out of the organisation that had an unfair working situation for them. This made the Eagles be seen as a bad team to work for. Now, only players and directives with no hope of landing a job anywhere else go there.

In brighter news, the Riverford Miners won the 4854 KFL for the second time in a row. The runners up, the Arkham Bats (ooc:lmao) had one the 4852 KFL. This is turning into one of the greatest rivalries in Kundrati Football.

Crisis Incoming?

Following Deltaria's enactement of austerity, many in Kundrati have started to fear the worse. Shortly after the announcement, reports started to show a decline in Istalia, Selucia and Badara. The crisis is starting to spread in Majatra, and soon it will reach Artania.

Kundrati has recently been spending large amounts of money in the military, and although some of it was made back in the Egelian ship purchase, many fear that it might not be enough. Kundrati owes large amounts of money to many nations, particularly Dorvik. Furthermore, we owe the Lodamese Central Bank a hefty amount too. Most economists had thought that this could have been repaid by 4865, but this now seems unlikely.

The government has announced huge cuts in military, tourism and culture in preparation of the crisis, but it might not be enough. Kundrati is already at a high 15.8 unemployment rate, and it is expected to grow. Many economists fear that small and medium businesses and even large companies might not make it. Many even speculate about KMW's future.

Adrius Felix addressed the nation.

Fellow comrades, I understand your concerns. Kundrati is a primary sector-based economy. Our exports mainly consist of agricultural goods and iron. I know that the crisis in Deltaria is frightening. But let me remind you of something. The crisis is in Deltaria. That means Majatra. And although the crisis will reach us, it will not be nearly as harsh as people are making it out to be. Remember. One of our main leaders in Artania is Dorvik. And Dorvik will not fall. So yes, we are taking some precautions, but it will not be as bad as they say it is. Kundrati WILL prevail. An I am not concerned for the future of our nation.

Many experts disagreed with Felix's words but he stood firm by his statement.

Kundrati to offer funds to 3M

Today, Adrius Felix made a shocking announcement.

After much discussion with the Secretary of Finance, a series of experts, and CEO Boros Erik, I have decided that Kundrati will be providing funds to 3M. The decision to do this has come after much consideration. We believe that 3M has been vital for our nation, providing medicines everywhere where they are needed at a reasonable cost. My friend Boros Erik reached out to me about how the incoming crisis could destroy 3M. I of course said yes. As I said before, 3M is vital to Kundrati, and its downfall would hurt us al. I believe that the investment will pay off in the long run, by stretching closer ties with Mr Erik, Hugamest, 3M and Endralon. Thank you.

The announcement was received with expressions of shock. With the oncoming crisis, many expected the government to look into the nation to try and help its people survive. Many were disappointed in Felix, including former presidential candidate and s President of the Senate, Pius Castus. He spoke about how Adrius Felix's decision was irresponsible and begged the people to protest and to fight for what is theirs. This, however, changed nothing. Later the same day the government announced that the cash injection of 250M LOD had been completed.

This has brought much civil unrest and it is now unclear whether Felix will be able to win the upcoming primaries.
