Aldurian Agricultural Sector to expand onto corn

Image

The Ministère de l'Alimentation et de l'Agriculture (Ministry of Food and Agriculture) has recently announced a new effort to expand the Aldurian Agricultural Sector. Being carried by Grapes and Wheat, the Aldurian Agricultural Sector is looking to expand into corn, to diversify the nations Agricultural Economy and ensure an increased access of goods for Aldurians.

The Agriculture de I'État d'Aldurien (Aldurian State Agriculture) has already been commissioned to establish corn fields across Alduria. This has seen the Aldurian Agricultural Sector move away from being reliant on solely wheat and wine exports.

The Veil Administration has focused on establishing cornfields in the north of Alduria, particularly Nouvelle-Orange to develop the region. Regardless of where the cornfields are located at, this will allow corn products locally made in Alduria to be available to Aldurian Citizens. The Administration has also signaled that the Aldurian Agricultural Sector will continue to diversify to allow local Aldurian produced goods to be available to Aldurians, with farms looking to grow other forms of Agricultural Goods, such as potatoes to allow processed goods to be made in Alduria.

While the nation does enjoy access to goods from outside Alduria due to trade with the CEC and other nations, the Veil Administration has looked to promote Aldurian goods, to help out Aldurian farmers and ensure Aldurians are supporting local interest groups.

Aldurian Intelligence Agency created; Committee for the Security of the Revolution to serve as Intelligence Agency

In a joint proposal from both the Ministère de la Défense (Ministry of Defense) and the Ministère de l'Intérieur (Ministry of the Interior), both ministries have proposed the formal creation of an Aldurian Intelligence Agency to both defend the nation from possible foreign espionage as the nation begins making itself known on the world stage.

The name of the Intelligence Agency? The Comité pour la Sécurité de la Révolution (Committee for the Security of the Revolution). The CSR will be independently lead by Côme Dutertre, who will be tasked with managing the CSR, and ensuring that the nation is kept safe from external and internal threats. Dutertre will be assigned chairman of the CSR, and full legal jurisdiction of the CSR will go to the President, the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Defense. Due to the nature of the CSR, Dutertre and any future chairmen will remain separate from any cabinet reshuffles that come with new administrations.

The CSR will have the capacities to act out as any intelligence agency would, both for foreign and internal affairs. The formal goal of the CSR will be to safeguard the Aldurian Revolution, and if conditions are ripe, sponsor socialist elements in other countries that are potentially hostile to Alduria or Socialism. However the main focus is simply defending Alduria as the nation is becoming entrenched into the warzone that is geopolitics.

In terms of internal affairs, the CSR will have rather limited powers due to the government being lax on civil rights and ensuring Alduria doesn't transition into Vanguard Socialism. However, the CSR will have the power to override local police jurisdiction, and act as the de facto national security agency. It will have the goal of tracking potential foreign spies, potential terrorists, and those who would threaten the Aldurian Revolution or the nations Democracy.

Whatever the case, the CSR will now lead Alduria forward and defend Alduria to the best of it's capabilities through the dark world that is intelligence warfare.

Alduria to invest into chicken industry; Is a prominent chicken industry possible?

In an ever increasing bid to diversify the economy and increase the access of locally made goods, the Veil Administration has recently looked to expand the Agricultural Sector by growing corn in Nouvelle-Orange. In yet another effort to increase Alduria's economy, and expand into other industries, the government has begun efforts to subsidize and support chicken farms, for both consumption of chicken and production of eggs.

In Semailles, the nations most populous city, chicken farms have been popping up, employing worker's of Semailles, and reducing any unemployment in Semailles. The state owned Coopérative Unie de Poulet (United Chicken Cooperative) has been established, with managing the production of chicken eggs, and meat. Being based in Semailles, the city is set to become a possible hub for the Aldurian Chicken Industry.

However, oftentimes the Chicken Industry has led to appalling conditions for animals and the The Ministère de l'Alimentation et de l'Agriculture (Ministry of Food and Agriculture) has looked to prevent inhumane conditions for Aldurian Animals and ensure animal welfare standards are met, with the newly created Ministère due Bien-être Animal (Ministry of Animal Welfare), with the explicit task of maintaining strict animal welfare laws both across the chicken industry and any future endeavors with animal products and industries.

In terms of exporting Aldurian made chicken goods, such as chicken meat and eggs, nations in the CEC (Canrillaise Economic Community) are expected to receive open access to Aldurian exports and goods, however the question of exporting to non-CEC nations has been viewed as likely. Yet without any nation directly requesting Aldurian goods, it remains to be seen if Aldurian Goods will ever leave the CEC.

Committee for the Security of the Revolution to attend O3 Summit

In recent news, Lourenne has begun preparing to hold a summit regarding intelligence and has invited several nations, one of those being Alduria. In an effort to give the CSR a boost and work with other intelligence agencies from nations such as Lourenne, Kanjor, Lodamun and Luthori, the CSR will attend the O3 Summit.

How this will impact the CSR is yet to be seen but it will allow the CSR to cooperate with other agencies and put the CSR on the track towards being capable. While the CSR can't compare to the IRSA or the TRA, in any conceivable way, the CSR could still go for improvements and take notes from how other intelligence agencies conduct themselves.

Whatever the case, chairman of the CSR, Côme Dutertre will ensure the CSR attends the O3 Summit in Lourenne once it is held, to both ensure cooperation with an ally of Alduria and to get the CSR on its feet.

Alduria to purchase Rafale Fighters from Lourenne; Aldurian Revolutionary Air Force to receive modernizations.

The Veil Administration has recently announced that it will purchase Rafale Fighters, 20 to be exact with even new generation fighters from Lourenne for 2.4 Billion LOD. This will see the Force Aérienne Révolutionnaire Aldurienne (Aldurian Revolutionary Air Force) receive modernizations and new equipment that is much needed.

This has come after the Veil Administration looked to modernize the Navy, purchasing equipment from the Beiteynunese Equifund in the midst of the Kafuristani Crisis. Despite negotiations being offered and the crisis seeming to come near a potential end, the Administration has looked to continue modernizations of the Aldurian Revolutionary Army.

Despite the immense cost, which has earned criticism from some, the Veil Administration has defended the purchase by claiming that efforts need to be made to defend Alduria, and modernize the nations military, especially as the need to defend Alduria has risen even higher then before as the nation makes further steps into the world stage, and just across the Sea of Lost Souls lay pirates.

Whatever the case, the fighters, being advanced by Aldurian standards will already increase the nations capacity to defend itself and despite the low amount of fighters, the new generation of Rafale Fighters will immensely assist the FARA in Aldurian Defense.

While some pacifists have protested the government rearming the military, the Ministère de la Défense (Ministry of Defense) has reassured that such measures are absolutely vital and that the doctrine of Elastic Defense and keeping the ARA small will be kept.

Regardless, the FARA is to receive it's modernizations and many expect the ground forces to be next in the foreseeable, if somewhat distant future.

Hutori docking rights revoked in Alduria; Hutori fleets encouraged to head home

The Ministére Des Affaires Étrangères (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) has recently announced that, in the wake of Lourenne advising a full pullback from the Sea of Lost Souls has announced that Hutori, will have its docking rights to Aldurian ports for the purpose of rearming and refueling, fully revoked. Alongside that, Hutori fleets have been encouraged to return home.

This has also come after domestic pressure from nationalist outlets who were outraged at Hutorian Naval Vessels docking in Aldurian Ports, with what few nationalists there is in the Parti Communiste d'Aldurie (Communist Party of Alduria) citing that no administration, and most certainly not the Veil Administration has ever legally signed any documents allowing Hutori vessels to dock in Alduria.
Emmanuel Bruneau, one of those nationalists captured the Assemblée Nationale des Travailleurs( National Assembly of Workers) full attention.
It is disgraceful that the Veil Administration has chosen to simply allow itself to be walked over by foreign interests. I understand the crisis across the pond, I absolutely understand it but allowing the Hutorian Navy to dock in Alduria? Ridiculous! We signed a treaty with Beiteynu, with Lourenne, we're voting on one with Luthori but Hutori? Where is the paper? Where is the treaty? Because I don't remember voting for any treaty with Hutori. We demand the Veil Administration revoke this unjust measure and revoke Hutori docking rights! We never signed anything with them, and we most certainly do not want to fan the flames of conflict in the Sea of Lost Souls.

Emmanuel Bruneau speaking in the National Assembly of Workers

After much deliberation within the Veil Administration, the administration has caved in and revoked the docking rights of Hutori, with Blanche Cailloux, the Minister of Foreign Affairs encouraging "Hutorian Vessels to head home".
As of today, Hutorian Vessels will no longer have legal permission to dock in Aldurian Ports. We will not tolerate any military vessels of Hutori to dock in Alduria. We are hoping however, that Hutori will send it's fleets home. No one wants to escalate things in the Sea of Lost Souls.

The President herself has refused to make any comments on the situation itself.

Whatever the case, this will significantly damper Hutorian efforts to stay in the Sea of Lost Souls due to Alduria revoking docking rights. As for what it could mean for Aldurian-Hutori relations, there are hopes that despite this hiccup, good relations can be maintained.
