La dinastia dei Berlusconi affossata da un altro mega scandalo
La magistratura ha accusato buona parte dei membri del partito che è stato infine sciolto

MILONA - Il Partito Repubblicano dopo più di mezzo secolo di attività crolla a causa dell'ennesimo scandalo politico che tocca la nazione.
I magistrati hanno rivelato l'esistenza di una estesa rete clientelare che coinvolgeva i repubblicani e buona parte delle imprese della famiglia Berlusconi. Il Pubblico Ministero di Milona ha dichiarato che il Partito era divenuto strumento al servizio del gruppo capitanato dalla famiglia Berlusconi ed è probabile che la crescita della loro holding nei decenni passati sia stata dovuta a forti favoritismi durante i lunghi anni che hanno visto PR al governo.
Ci si aspettano pene severe per i Berlusconi e salatissime multe per la loro holding, ma soprattutto, queste aziende potrebbero venir definitivamente escluse da ogni appalto pubblico per molti anni, cosa che metterebbe in crisi buona parte delle compagnie che fin dall'arrivo del PR sulla scena politica hanno fatto sempre più affidamento allo Stato per ordini e commesse varie.
La famiglia Berlusconi per il momento non ha rilasciato alcuna dichiarazione ma è certo che se il futuro processo giudicherà colpevoli gli indagati, quasi tutti i membri della famiglia, ciò rappresenterebbe la fine e l'uscita di scena di quella che è stata una vera dinastia politico-economica.
I membri non coinvolti del Partito hanno dichiarato che si uniranno agli altri partiti liberali istaliani, LP e CC, ma probabilmente favorendo questo ultimo, già parte con RP della coalizione Istalia Libera.


LP a Congresso: Nicola Gasbarro nuovo Segretario
Il braccio destro della Fiorenti vince senza quasi opposizione nel segno della continuità

ROMULA - Il Congresso di Libertà e Progresso indetto dal Comitato Coordinativo Nazionale all'indomani delle dimissioni di Camilla Fiorenti non ha impiegato molto a scegliere il successore: Nicola Gasbarro, fino ad ora Capogruppo alla Camera e braccio destro della Fiorenti, è stato eletto praticamente all'unanimità nuovo Segretario Nazionale.
Un successo raggiunto piuttosto facilmente dato che Gasbarro non aveva alcun serio sfidante: il Partito dopo le dimissioni della Fiorenti non sembra abbia sperimentato lo shock provato dalla Segretaria e quel che è emerso dal Congresso è che il partito vuole continuare sulla via tracciata dalla Fiorenti e Gasbarro è chiaramente stata la scelta naturale nel segno della continuità, una scelta largamente condivisa dato che gli altri candidati, Antonia Farelli e Massimo Whalad, non hanno raccimolato nemmeno il 20% se considerati insieme.
La prima dichiarazione da Segretario di Gasbarro si è inserita nella diatriba nata dopo lo scioglimento di PR:

Personalmente credo che le motivazioni del Presidente Largisini riguardo la ristrettezza della maggioranza siano piuttosto deboli: anche se per pochi seggi, se una maggioranza esiste essa ha diritto a governare. D'altronde non sono stati rari i casi di maggioranze garantite da qualche manciata di seggi di differenza rispetto all'apposizione.
Inoltre la costituzione è chiara: il Presidente ha il dovere di cercare di incaricare qualcuno per formare un Governo; solo una volta constatata l'impossibilità di avwre una maggioranza allora può indire nuove elezioni, elezioni che non sono obbligatorio nemmeno di fronte allo scioglimento di un partito se ciò non intacca la maggioranza e quindi la tenuta del Governo.
LP voterà comunque a favore della proposta del Presidente ma siamo anche pronti a rispettare il volere popolare che, anche se per pochi voti, ha premiato la sinistra. Ma li avvertiamo: LP condurrà un'opposizione seria e costante, non vogliamo uno shock per il paese causate da proposte troppo estreme e confidiamo nel potere di moderazione dei Democratici.

The Berlusconi Dynasty took down by another mega scandal
The judiciary has accused most of the members of the party which have finally been dissolved

MILONA - The Republican Party, after more than half a century of activity, collapses because of another political scandal which affected the nation.
The magistrates have revealed the existence of an extensive clientele network involving the Republicans and most of Berlusconi family businesses. The Milona Public Prosecutor stated that the Party had become instrumental to the group headed by the Berlusconi family and it is likely that the growth of its holding in the past decades has been due to strong favoritism during the long years which saw PR to the government .
Serious punishments are expected for the Berlusconi's and very high fines for their holding, but above all, these companies may be permanently excluded from any public contract for many years, which would put in crisis most of the companies which since the PR's arrival on the political scene have increasingly relied on the state for their orders and business.
Berlusconi family has not issued any statements for the time, but it is certain that if the future trial wil judges as guilty the suspects, almost all members of the family, this would represent the end and the exit from the scenes of what was a true political-economic dynasty.
Not involved party members said that they would join the other Istalian liberal parties, LP and CC, but likely to favor the latter, alreasy with RP part of the Istalia Libera coalition.


LP to Congress: Nicola Gasbarro new secretary
The Fiorent's right arm wins without almost opposition in the sign of continuity

ROMULA - The Freedom and Progress Congress launched by the National Coordination Committee, following the resignation of Camilla Fiorenti, did not take much to choose the successor: Nicola Gasbarro, until now the Whip into the Chamber and Right Arm of Fiorenti, was elected virtually unanimously as new National Secretary.
A success achieved quite easily since Gasborro did not have any serious contender: the Party after the resignation of Fiorenti did not seem to have experienced the shock which instead by the Secretary and what emerged from the Congress is that the party wants to continue on the path traced by Fiorenti and Gasbarro has clearly been the natural choice in the sign of continuity, a widely shared choice as other candidates, Antonia Farelli and Massimo Whalad, have not even recompiled 20% if considered together.
The first statement by Secretary of Gasbarro was about on the diatribe born after the dissolution of PR:

Personally, believe that Mr Largisini's motives regarding the tightness of the majority are rather weak: even if for a few seats, if a majority exists, it has the right to govern. And in fact, cases of majorities guaranteed by some handful of seats of difference were not rare.
Moreover, the constitution is clear: the President has a duty to try to appoint someone to form a government; only once it is found the impossibility of having a majority this can then lead to new elections, elections that are not mandatory even in the face of the dissolution of a party if this does not affect the majority and therefore the government's tenure.
LP will still vote in favor of the President's proposal given the large lack of representation into the Parliament but we are also ready to respect the popular will that, although for a few votes, has rewarded the left. But we warn them: the LP will lead a serious and constant opposition, we do not want a shock for the country caused by too extreme proposals and we trust in the power of moderation of Democrats.

SCONTRI IN TUTTE LE CITTA' ISTALIANE, ROMULA PARALIZZATA DA DUE GIORNI
ROMULA - Non accenna a placarsi il clima di scontro politico che ormai pervade tutte le città istaliane. A far scoppiare la scintilla la decisione del Presidente della Repubblica Largisini di non concedere l'incarico per formare il governo all'Area Progressista, vincitrice delle elezioni. Dopo un'infuocata conferenza stampa da parte delle forze di centro sinistra sono iniziate le manifestazioni in tutta Istalia, con i sindacati che hanno chiamato allo sciopero generale e le forze antagoniste che hanno provocato diversi scontri in molte parti d'Istalia. La situazione più pesante a Romula, dove da due giorni sindacati e manifestanti bloccano Viale Indipendenza e Piazza Quattroregni chiedendo le dimissioni di Largisini. A quanto dicono gli organizzatori la mobilitazione andrà avanti finché il Presidente non si sarà dimesso o non verrà sfiduciato. Scontri e tensioni anche a Florenza, Turrino e Milona mentre a Nepoli in uno scontro fra antagonisti e forze di polizia è stata data alle fiamme una sede di Confederazione Capitalista.

Il responsabile di tutto questo è Largisini, che si deve dimettere immediatamente - ha dichiarato dal palco Simone Pesce, leader del PASI - ogni minuto che passa senza un governo gli istaliani si impoveriscono, i mercati crollano, lo stato di ferma. Stiamo lavorando per la sfiducia parlamentare al peggior Presidente che la storia istaliana ricordi, nel frattempo abbiamo i numeri per far passare i provvedimenti alla Camera e quindi almeno l'attività legislativa è salva. Riterremo responsabile Largisini di tutto ciò che succede e continuerà a succedere, e non ce ne andremo da questa piazza fino a quando non vedremo il suo impeachement per tradimento o le sue dimissioni.

Beniamino Massa, della Alternativa Istaliana, sostiene il governo "legittimo" del CC

Il nuovo partito di destra di Istalia, l'Alternativa Istaliana (AI), guidato da Beniamino Massa, è emerso nelle turbolenze politiche causate dal disaccordo tra il presidente capitalista e la Camera dei Deputati socialista. Nella loro natura capitalistica, l'AI ha dato il suo pieno sostegno al CC e Beniamino Massa, una figura piuttosto carismatica, ha rilasciato una dichiarazione.

Che cosa sta facendo la coalizione socialista, è assolutamente inaccettabile. In primo luogo, tutto il loro obiettivo e l'ideologia ruota intorno a paralizzare l'economia, con i loro regolamenti e la nazionalizzazione e le politiche socialiste. Ora, essendo tipici dei socialisti e non accettando un presidente capitalista e pragmatico, cercano di paralizzare anche il paese. Paralizzano la Camera dei Deputati paralizzano le città istalliane con manifestazioni di massa contro la scelta del popolo ovvio del presidente del CC e ovviamente vogliono aggirare la democrazia rimuovendo il legittimo presidente e capo.

Questa dichiarazione radicale e schietta di "Il Duce" è stata accolta con applauso tra i mille dei sostenitori dell'II a Palerno (dove il movimento si è guadagnato per la prima volta) che ha partecipato al rally.

The new right wing party of Istalia, the Alternativa Istaliana (AI), spearheaded by Beniamino Massa, emerged in the political turmoil caused by the disagreement between the Capitalist President and the Socialist Camera dei Deputati. In their capitalist nature, the AI issued their full support for the CC and Beniamino Massa, a rather charismatic figure, has issued a statement.

What the Leftist coalition is currently doing, is absolutely unacceptable. ROMULA - E' stata depositata in Parlamento la richiesta di impeachment per il Presidente della Repubblica Largisini, accusato dalla maggioranza parlamentare di atti contro la Costituzione e tradimento. La richiesta, presentata dal leader del PASI Simone Pesce, deve essere approvata dai 2/3 del Parlamento.

I numeri ci sono - ha detto Pesce in conferenza stampa - il tradimento di Largisini sta per terminare. I cittadini sono con noi e le manifestazioni quotidiane ce lo dimostrano. Abbiamo perso anni e la nostra democrazia non ci consente soluzioni più rapide al problema, altrimenti avremmo cacciato Largisini da palazzo Quattroregni in altro modo. L'iMR Populista Inizia Una Campagna Nazionale
Dobbiamo ottenere la nostra voce - dice Paolo Conti, il loro leader - e per farlo, dobbiamo vincere i seggi. L'iMR è correttamente costruito nella sua struttura nelle grandi città istalliane. Radicale sta anche ricreando nuovi membri, ex e politici attuali, come persone che non sono mai entrate in politica. Attualmente, il movimento afferma che sostiene fortemente il presidente e, in misura minore, il governo. È noto per aver combinato le idee di sinistra e centrista nella propria ideologia che supporta sia un mercato libero e statale controllato, i diritti del lavoro, un sistema di istruzione progressiva, l'enviromentalismo, un governo più piccolo, la fusione delle funzioni del capo del governo e Il presidente e innumerevoli altri. The iMR is corrently constructong it's structures in the larger Istalian cities. Radicale is also recrutting new members, both ex and current politicians as people that never entered politics. Currently, the movement states that it strongly oposes the president and, to a lesser extent, the government. It is known for combining both far left and centrist ideas into it's own ideology that supports both a free and state controlled market, labour rights, a progressive education system, environmentalism, a smaller government, the fusion of the functions of the head of government and the president and countless others. The party is suspected to do well within the higher class and lower class. Currently it doesn't have the best results in polls, but that may soon change due to the campaign.

Il leader di LP si candida ufficialmente alle prossime Presidenziali dopo la crisi di governo che ha visto LP fuoriuscire dalla coalizione


ROMULA - Una conferenza stampa annunciata solo il giorno prima ed infine la sorpresa: Nicola Gasbarro si è presentato davanti alle telecamere alle 16.00 attorniato da tutto il Comitato Nazionale e senza troppi giri di parole ha annunciato la sua intenzione di correre per le presidenziali che si terranno tra meno di un anno ormai.
Il Leader dei Liberalprogressisti durante il suo discorso si è soffermato particolarmente sulla necessità di riportare ordine nella Repubblica:

Indipendentemente da chi uscirà vincitore dalle prossime elezioni legislative, vi assicuro che, se eletto alla Presidenza della Repubblica, rispetterò il volere democraticamente espresso dal popolo e rispetterò la Costituzione, per porre fine a quasi un decennio di forte instabilità non solo politica ma in primis istituzionale! Accettare il volere del popolo e rispettare le norme che lo Stato si è dato sono alla base di ogni Democrazia degna di questo nome! Per lungo tempo la maturità ed i valori dei partiti della Repubblica hanno regalato alla Nazione anni di stabilità e prosperità e sono fermamente deciso ad impegnarmi affinché quei valori tornino a guidare le nostre istituzioni e la nostra vita politica! Ho ricevuto già delle proposte per un futuro sostegno della mia candidatura, ma voglio mettere in guardia tutti che mi aspetterò diligenza ed correttezza anche da loro! Credete in me e sostenetemi, perché metterò ordine nella Repubblica, è una promessa!

Ovviamente implicita la critica rivolta sia alla Confederazione Capitalista ed al Presidente Manolo di Largisini, quest'ultimo protagonista della seria crisi politica aperta dallo stesso Presidente durante il suo primo mandato dopo essersi rifiutato di presentare un Governo a guida socialista, sia agli attuali partiti di maggioranza relativa, Alternativa Istaliana ed il neoriformato Movimento Sindacalista di Istalia, che sono stati invece anche criticati direttamente a seguito dell'abbandono della coalizione deciso da LP ed annunciato durante la legge sull'ambiziosa riforma della scuola:

AI ed MSI dovrebbero rileggersi la costituzione come anche andarsi a rinfrescare la memoria su cosa sia un Governo di Coalizione e cosa voglia dire rispettare gli alleati e la catena di comando all'interno del Governo! Inoltre non posso esimermi dal far presente come durante questa legislatura entrambi questi partiti abbiano approfittato senza remore della grande maggioranza loro e delle forze liberali, per non parlare di compromessi assai controversi che hanno visto un movimento che si definiva di estrema sinistra, e che addirittura si augurava l'arrivo della Federazione Rivoluzionaria Socialista Majatrana in istalia, ed un movimento di destra nazionalista e conservatore, se non reazionario, approvare proposte che apparentemente avrebbero dovuto essere fortemente osteggiate alla luce della loro ideologia e supportarsi a vicenda nonostante una sequela di leggi delle volte anche in contraddizione tra di loro! Mi sembra più un comportamento di qualcuno attaccato alle poltrone più che dedito all'interesse nazionale e la recente crisi di governo che ha visto LP lasciare la coalizione sostituita in tempo record da CC, è stata un'altra dimostrazione di una politica cinica e che punta apparentemente solo a mantenersi al potere! Ma non credo che ogni legislatura sarà così! Giungerà il momento che una loro maggioranza dovrà reggersi su un pugno di voti ed allora vedremo se sarà tanto opportuno ignorare gli alleati e procedere ognuno sulla propria strada!

Infine dalla sala è arrivata una domanda sullo scioglimento del Partito Ambientalista Socialista d'Istalia, gli ex Verdi Istaliani, al ché Gasbarro ha risposto:

Non ho vissuto i tempi del grande affiatamento che c'era tra i Social Liberali ed i Verdi, ma sicuramente posso dire che la Repubblica ha perso un partito ormai divenuto storico e che ha fatto storia per più di mezzo secolo! Sono stati i più entusiasti a rispondere all'appello del PSLI di formare una grande alleanza progressista e sono stati in prima linea per difendere la Repubblica e le Istituzioni durante i giorni più bui, un esempio da seguire a dispetto delle differenze ideologiche sorte nel corso degli anni.

Gasbarro: I'll keep order in the Republic!
LP leader officially candidats himself to the upcoming Presidential after the government crisis which saw LP leak out of the coalition

ROMULA - A press conference announced only the day before and ultimately the surprise: Nicola Gasbarro presented in front of the cameras at 4 pm surrounded by the entire National Committee and without too many words announced his intention to run for Presidency to be held between less a year now.
The Leader of the Liberal Progressives during his speech focused particularly on the need to bring order back to the Republic:

Regardless of who will emerge victorious from the upcoming legislative elections, I assure you that, if elected to the Presidency of the Republic, I will respect the democratically expressed will of the people and I will respect the Constitution, to put an end to almost a decade of instability not only political but primarily institutional! Accepting the will of the people and respecting the norms that the state has given to itself are the basis of every Democracy worthy of this name! For a long time the maturity and values of the parties of the Republic have given the nation years of stability and prosperity, and I firmly strive to make those values go back to guide our institutions and our political life! I have already received proposals for a future support for my candidacy, but I want to warn everyone that I will also look forward to their diligence and fairness! Believe in me and support me, because I will keep order in the Republic, it's a promise!

Of course, the criticism addressed to both the Capitalist Confederation and the President Manolo of Largisini, the latter protagonist of the serious political crisis opened by the President himself during his first term after refusing to present a Socialist-led Government, both to current relative majority's parties, Istalian Alternative and the newly reformed Sindacalist Movement of Istalia, who were also directly criticized following the exit from the coalition by part of LP end announced during the ambitious Reform of the School:

AI and MSI should re-read the constitution as well as refresh the memory of what a Coalition Government is and what it means to respect the allies and the chain of command within the Government! Moreover, I can not avoid mentioning that during this legislature, both parties have taken advantage of their great majority and of the one of the liberal forces, not to mention very controversial compromises that saw a movement which definited itself as extreme left-wing, and that even he wished the arrival of the Majatran Revolutionary Socialist Federation in istalia, and a nationalistic and conservative, if not reactionary, rightist movement, to approve together proposals which apparently ought to be strongly ostracized in the light of their ideology and to support each other despite a sequel of laws of the measures pften even in contradiction between them! It seems to me a behavior more suitable to someone attached to the armchairs more than dedicated to the national interest and the recent government crisis which saw LP leave the coalition, replaced in record time by CC, was another demonstration of a cynical policy pointing apparently only to stay in power! But I do not think every legislature will be like the lastone! There will be the time that a majority of them, to stand on, will need of a fistful of votes, and then we will see if it will be so desirable to ignore the allies and proceed eachone on their own path!

Finally, there came a question about the dissolution of the Socialist Environmentalist Party of Istalia, the former Istalian Greens, to which Gasbarro replied:

I did not live the time of the great affiliation between the Social Liberals and the Greens, but I can certainly say that the Republic has lost a party which has become part of the history of this nation and has made history for more than half a century! They were the most enthusiastic in responding to PSLI's call for a great progressive alliance, and they were at the forefront to defend the Republic and the democratic institutions during the darkest days, an example to follow in spite of the ideological differences which emerged between them during the years.

Elezioni 4231:Gasbarro Presidente: "ed ora subito consultazioni"
AI confermato primo partito, NS segue da vicino mentre il nuovo partito Eguaglianza e Libertà con i suoi 125 seggi sarà l'ago della bilancia


ROMULA - Grande partecipazione per queste elezioni che hanno espresso un parlamento profondamente diverso da quello precedente. Lo scioglimento del Partito Ambientalista Socialista e del Partito Nazionale hanno premiato da una parte AI e dall'altra NS, anche se quest'ultimo ha visto una gran parte dell'elettorato progressista premiare il neo fondato Eguaglianza e libertà che potrebbe divenire il vero protagonista delle prossime consultazioni e che potrebbe regalare il governo alla sinistra.
Le forze di destra, ed i due governi che si sono succeduti durante lo scorso mandato, sono infatte state pesantemente bocciate: CC perde il 4%, LP il doppio ma chi ha sofferto di più è stato il Movimento Sindacalista Istaliano che è crollato al penultimo posto con un calo di oltre il 17%.
Probabilmente gli importanti tagli al budget e quindi l'aumento delle imposte per risanare un deficit creato proprio da MSI ed AI durante i quattro anni di anarchia della prima Presidenza Largisini, seguiti poi dai tagli al reddito minimo garantito ed ai salari minimi, hanno spaventato parecchio l'elettorato istaliano che si aspetta un calo generale del reddito pro capite come anche quello dei consumi.
NS invece dovrà sicuramente vedersela con EL, il quale ha appoggiato molti provvedimenti liberali e soprattutto la privatizzazione della sanità, al che la leadership socialdemocratica ha dichiarato che se non si riuscirà a trovare il necessario sostegno in Parlamento per reintrodurre un servizio sanitario pubblico, sarà nostro interesse garantire un Programma di Assicurazione Medica Universale amministrato e finanziato dal Governo, ci batteremo anche per annullare la legislazione sul reddito minimo e sui salari, non lasceremo soli i lavoratori ed i più deboli, coloro che ne soffriranno di più.


Le Presidenziali hanno visto invece quasi un plebiscito esprimersi a favore per il Leader dei Liberalprogressisti Nicola Gasbarro che si impone con quasi il 65% dei consensi battendo Samuel Battisto di Alternativa Istaliana che si ferma al 32%.
La promessa di Gasbarro di riportare ordine nella Repubblica nel rispetto della Costituzione lo ha premiato, guadagnando il supporto dichiarato di CC ed NS, dunque un consenso che ha interessato tutto lo spettro politico ed ha convinto i cittadini stanchi di una situazione istituzionale che da troppi anni ha generato insicurezza ed instabilità.
Il neo eletto Presidente, proprio come promesso, ha annunciato di aver iniziato già le consultazioni rivolgendosi ai due partiti maggiori usciti dalle elezioni, quasi invitandoli a raggruppare le forze e di destra e di sinistra per provare a formare Governi omogenei e con programmi il più simili possibile, evitando di favorire una o l'altra parte tenendo fede alle dichiarazioni rilasciate durante la campagna elettorale.
Analizzando però il Parlamento, AI, il maggior partito della destra, sembra non in grado di formare una coalizione nemmeno raggruppando tutti i partiti di destra e centro destra (CC, LP ed MSI), mentre NS, se probabilmente potrà contare sul supporto di PDI e IAR, quest'ultimo dichiaratosi molto vicino alle posizioni dei Socialdemocratici, dovrà ricercare il sostegno di Eguaglianza e Libertà, il terzo partito per seggi, che si è dichiarato tendenzialmente di centro sinistra anche se sembra si sia dichiarato a favore della recente privatizzazione della sanità.
Questo potrebbe deludere tutti gli elettori di sinistra e di centro-sinistra che speravano di fermare la privatizzazione della sanità, al chè la leadership di Nuova Socialdemocrazia ha già dichiarato: faremo il possibile per convincere il Parlamento a reintrodurre un servizio sanitario pubblico, ma se proprio non riusciremo a trovare il consenso necessario, ci batteremo per aumentare la copertura pubblica per le assicurazioni sanitarie ed introdurremo l'adeguata legislazione per la creazione di un Programma di Assicurazione Medica Universale amministrato e finanziato dal Governo tramite l'imposizione fiscale.
Non si sa nemmeno se riusciranno a rivedere la legislazione sul reddito minimo garantito e sui salari minimi: i partiti che si sono opposti al provvedimento infatti sono lontani dall'avere i numeri necessari per annullare i provvedimenti presi dallo scorso governo.

Per quanto riguarda la politica estera invece, il Presidente Gasbarro ha voluto rilasciare questa dichiarazione:

il militarismo della Federazione Socialista e le minacce contro Kalopia-Wantuni dell'est rischiano di far aumentare ancora la tensione in Majatra, ma la nostra preoccupazione è garantire la sovranità della Repubblica Federale, per questo mi impegnerò per portare la Kalopia-Wantuni libera all'interno dell'Alleanza Majatrana e spingerò affinché il Governo sia in prima linea nelle contrattazioni iniziate dal Governo Kalopiano per modernizzare le proprie forze armate.
Invito infine la Federazione Socialista a rivedere le recenti dichiarazioni, sia perché data la situazione interna non credo possano permetterselo, sia perché qualsiasi azione intrapresa in questo senso riceverà una immediata ed adeguata risposta da parte dell'Istalia, che, se la situazione non si normalizzerà, potrebbe vedersi costretta a non escludere un ritiro del bando all'utilizzo di armi nucleari.

Elections 4231: Gasbarro President: "and now immediately consultations"
AI confirmed first party, NS follows closely while the new Equality and Freedom Party with its 125 seats will tip the balance

ROMULA - Great participation in these elections which have expressed a parliament very different from the previous one. The dissolution of the Socialist Environmentalist Party and the National Party has rewarded both AI and NS, although the latter saw a large part of the progressive electorate reward the newly founded Equality and Freedom that could become the true protagonist of the upcoming consultations and that could give the government to the left.
The right-wing forces, and the two governments that have succeeded during the last term, in fact have been heavily punished: CC loses 4%, LP the double but the one who suffered the most was the Istalian Trade Unionist Movement that collapsed in the penultimate position with a decline of over 17%.
Probably the great cuts in the budget and therefore the increase in taxes to solve the problem of a larger deficit created by MSI and AI themself during the four-year of anarchy under the first Largisini's Presidency, followed by cuts to the minimum guaranteed income and minimum wages, frightened a lot the Istalian electorate that expects a general decline in per capita income as well as consumption.
NS instead will have to deal with EF, which has supported many liberal measures and especially the privatization of health, whereupon Social Democratic leadership has stated that if we can not find the necessary support in Parliament to reintroduce a public health service, it will be our interest in guaranteeing a publicly funded single-payer healthcare system administered by the Government, we will also try to cancel the legislation on minimum income and wages, we will not leave alone the workers and the weakers, those who will suffer the most.

The Presidential instead have seen almost a plebiscite in favor of the Leader of the Liberal Progressives Nicola Gasbarro who gained almost 65% of the consents by defeating Samuel Battisto of Istalia Alternativa who stops at 32%.
Gasbarro's promise to bringing order back to the Republic in respect of the Constitution has rewarded him, earning the declared support of CC and NS, thus a consensus from the whole spectrum of politics, and has convinced the citizens tired by an institutional situation that for too many years has generated insecurity and instability.
The newly elected President, just as promised, announced that he had already begun consultations by addressing the two major parties expressed by the election, almost inviting them to met together the forces of left and right respectively to try to form homogeneous governments with similar programs, avoiding favoring one or the other by keeping in mind the declarations made during the electoral campaign.
Analyzing the Parliament, however, AI, the largest party of the right-wing, seems unable to form a coalition even by grouping all the right and center right parties (CC, LP and MSI), while NS, as said, if likely will rely on the support of PDI and IAR, the latter which has declared itself very close to the positions of the Social Democrats, will have to seek support from Equality and Freedom, the third party for seats, which has declared itself to be center-left leaning, although it seems to have favored the recent privatization of healthcare.

As regards of foreign policy finally, President Gasbarro wanted to release this statement:

The militarism of the Socialist Federation and the threats against Eastern Kalopia-Wantuni risk to increase again the tension in Majatra, but our concern is to guarantee the sovereignty of the Federal Republic, so I will strive to bring the free Kalopia-Wantuni within the Majatran Alliance and push for the government to be in the forefront of the negotiations with the Kalopian Government to modernize its armed forces.
Lastly, I invite the Socialist Federation to review the recent statements, because, looking to its internal situation I do not believe they can afford it, and because any action taken in that way will receive an immediate and adequate response from Istalia, which if the situation does not normalize , it may be forced to reppeal the ban on the use of nuclear weapons.

L'AI potrebbe aumentare il loro margine di vittoria, con ora 140 posti. A quanto pare hanno iniziato i colloqui di coalizione e il principale preferito è una coalizione di sinistra, senza l'AI. A meno che l'AI non riesca a persuadere l'EL, sta andando in quella direzione, poiché i partiti possono temere di collaborare con l'AI nazionale, come si vede con l'esempio LP.

He further commented that the resignation of a close colleague, Paolo Conti, was very sad, but understandable. Yet he hopes to continue the cooperation amongst the parties and maintain a friendship with Mr. Conti, no matter what will happen after the reform of the FLI.

Apparently coalition talks have begun, and the main favourite is a left coalition, without the AI. Unless the AI manages to persuade the EL, it is heading in that direction, as parties may be afraid to collaborate with the Nationalist AI, as seen with the LP example.

The FR, earlier, MSI and briefly FLI, took a huge hit, gaining just around 6% of the votes in the election. Those results and the very poor support of the Syndicalists, Paolo Conti's inner-party movement caused one of Istalia's richest men to resign from his position. The now-billionaire resigned from the leadership of the party and a membership, and currently acts as an independent MP.

Conti was replaced as the leader of the syndicalists by the much younger ex party whip and music producer, Lodovico Strazzi.

Our voters did not support the fact that we were an extension of the nationalists- boldly states Vega- and we were punished for that. And rightfully.

ROMULA - Dopo mesi di tensioni crescenti tra Istalia e Kafuristan ed il rischio concreto di un conflitto con migliaia di truppe in Kalopia-Wantuni, il regime autoritario guidato dal Presidente al-Tasara è stato vittima di un colpo di stato guidato da membri dei vertici militari anti-socialisti ed allineatisi al precedente governo democratico. Una sempre più vicina adesione alla Federazione Socialista Rivoluzionaria Majatrana sembra abbia fatto scoppiare serie tensioni all'interno delle forze armate di Kafuristan e tra i maggiori oppositori è emerso il Capo di Stato Maggiore della Marina.
A seguito del colpo di stato i golpisti hanno velocemente preso in custodia i membri del partito al potere e gli ufficiali vicini ad esso per poi organizzare nuove elezioni che hanno visto la precedente leadership allineata all'Alleanza Majatrana tornare al potere con larghissimo consenso.
Poco dopo il golpe anche le truppe schierate al confine kalopiano sono state richiamate, scongiurando definitivamente il rischio di un conflitto armato che avrebbe potuto coinvolgere buona parte di Majatra.
Il Presidente Gasbarro, convocata una conferenza stampa, si è così espresso alla Nazione:

Ancora una volta la Libertà e la Democrazia hanno vinto! L'ennesimo regime sempre più autoritario e dittatoriale è crollato a causa del peso delle proprie colpe. sono stati mesi di tensioni, la minaccia era altissima ma infine il peggio è stato evitato. Il Governo si è già messo in contatto con il nuovo Governo di Kafuristan, guidato dalle forze che hanno portato Kafuristan dentro l'Alleanza Majatrana, e siamo fiduciosi nel poter riprendere le relazioni amichevoli che stavamo sviluppando prima dell'arrivo di al-Tasara. Voglio ora omaggiare il coraggio della nazione e dei suoi rappresentanti che cin senso di abnegazione hanno dimostrato di essere pronti a difendere i valori della nostra Nazione, a combattere per la libertà.
Inoltre voglio ringraziare il Governo di Hutori per la repentina risposta di fronte alla crisi, pronti a schierarsi al nostro fianco per difendere la libertà dei cittadini della Repubblica Federal di Kalopia-Wantuni, dove sembra che i disordini siano cessati mentre le forze governative riportano ordine nel paese.
Molti inoltre, come me, stanno gioendo di questa notizia con il pensiero ai prossimi mondiali di Calcio, che saranno ospitati dall'Italia il prossimo anno.
Un conflitto armato avrebbe messo fine al sogno, ma ancora una volta abbiamo prevalso e dunque invito il Paese ora a rivolgere il pensiero all'evento a venire, che dovrà essere una celebrazione non solo sportiva, ma anche di pace e libertà. Il paese sarà ben lieto di accogliere i milioni che accorreranno ad assistere al torneo ai quali promettiamo una permanenza di prima qualità ed un'accoglienza calorosa.
Sarà una grande occasione per il paese, per il suo prestigio in primis e dunque per l'economia, sicuri della creazione di tantissimi posti di lavoro e di importanti ritorni.
Infine, auguro fin da ora buona fortuna alla nostra nazionale ed auguro al Paese intero di approfittare in pieno di questo grande evento.

The regime in Kafuristan defeated by the democratic forces, now Istalia can totally devote itself to the next FIFA World Cup

ROMULA - After months of growing tensions between Istalia and Kafuristan and the concrete risk of a conflict with thousands of troops in Kalopia-Wantuni, the authoritarian regime led by the President al-Tasara has been the victim of a coup led by anti- socialists and aligned with the former democratic government members of the Armed Forces. An ever more concrete possibility to adhere to the Majatran Revolutionary Socialist Federation seems to have sparked serious tensions within the Kafuri Armed Forces, and the Navy Chief of Staff has emerged among the major opponents.
Following the coup, the putschists quickly took charge of the members of al-Tasara's party at the power and military officers close to it and then organized new elections which saw the previous leadership aligned with the Majatran Alliance to come back to power with great consensus.
Shortly after the coup, the troops deployed to the Kalpian border were recalled, definitively wiping out the risk of an armed conflict which could have involved much of Majatra.
President Gasbarro, summoned a press conference, expressed this way to the Nation:

Once again Liberty and Democracy have won! The increasingly authoritarian and dictatorial regime in Kafuristan has collapsed because of the burden of its own sins. We experienced months of tensions, the threat was very high but finally the worst was avoided. The government has already come in contact with the new Kafuri Government, led by the forces which brought Kafuristan into the Majatran Alliance, and we are confident that we can resume the friendly relations we were developing before the arrival of al-Tasara. Now I want commend the showed by the Nation and its representatives who, with sense of self-denial, have proven to be ready to defend the values ​​of our nation, to fight for the freedom.
I also want to thank the Government of Hutori for the sudden response to the crisis, ready to stand beside us to defend the freedom of the citizens of the Federal Republic of Kalopia-Wantuni, where the disorder ceases to exist, while government forces bring order country.
Many also, like me, can now rejoice thanks to these news with the thought to the next FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Istalia next year.
An armed conflict would end the dream, but once again we have prevailed and I therefore urge the country to turn the thought into the coming event, which will be a celebration not only about sport but also of peace and freedom. The country will be happy to welcome the millions who will be able to attend the tournament, to which we promise a top quality stay and a warm welcome.
It will be a great opportunity for the country, first of all for its prestige and therefore for its economy, sure of the creation of many jobs and important economic returns.
