MOFA Stands with Istalia on North Dovani Position
Also: HOG is Considering Independent Investigation on Baruch Assassination

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Following Istalia MOFA's press statement earlier this week on the condemnation of the attempted coup in North Dovani, sources at the MOFA confirm that the Ministry leadership and the government of Beiteynu stand with Istalia on their position towards the affair. "The government of Beiteynu considers Istalia, and therefore Istalia's interests, of great importance both towards the prosperity of Beiteynu itself as well as the international security and stability of North Dovani's extended region", a high-ranking official from the MOFA stated.

HOG stated its full support towards MOFA's stance, while commenting that Beiteynu's leadership in the Agency "[...] will be coordinating directly in liaison and under the jurisdiction of Istalian's leadership on any matters of intelligence and information gathering in the region with regards to the situation".

PM Yaron Tzafrir Addresses Situation with Luthori
Also: TRA to Release Investigative Details of Baruch Assassination

Yishelem, Beiteynu - A mounting pressure in the international community on what appears to be a rapidly escalating situation between Beiteynu, Luthori and a number of nations, has seen the Likatonian government introduce strict sanctions against Luthori, Kundrati's MOFA issuing a warning of escalation to the World Congress and even the Dorvish State Chancellor taking a swing in the situation, as the latest of the situation's developments.

Prior to this, a first wave of pressure had come from Beiteynu itself - as the investigation unfolded and the assassin was tried and incarcerated, by Vorona standing in solidarity, Kalopia invoking conflict resolution provisos from its neutrality treaty (and later voting to abstain from SC nominations as a collateral result of the escalating situation), Kafuristan outright calling out Luthori and Selucia even joining in on the investigation.

And it all boiled down to the assassination of former PM of Beiteynu Baruch Lea Tzafrir by a citizen of Luthori. Mr. Tzafrir happened to be the General Director of the Terran Remediation Agency at the date of his death, which triggered an international manhunt in the Agency's worldwide intelligence network. As the investigation concluded, leadership revealed that the assassin allegedly maintained ties with officials from the government of Luthori. Meanwhile, calls from the international community (Beiteynu included) for Luthori to respond led in fact to multiple, but chaotic responses from officials and political figures in Luthori.

Following is a summary of PM Yaron Tzafrir's address:

We are against any manner of conflict that neither side can support nor sustain and instead hope to a peaceful resolution of this escalation of Beiteynuese-Luthori relations. What we must remain absolute in is that a citizen of Luthori assassinating a former PM of a sovereign nation - regardless of their alleged ties to the government of Luthori or not - and Luthori choosing this particular diplomatic stance of erratic responses to this whole situation should not be an acceptable standard of conduct by the international community.

Even as the victim of this whole affair, we are looking to solve the situation directly with Luthori and lead with resolve and peace in mind. Even as they chose to debate and pass harsh sanctions against the nation of Beiteynu for reasons we can't fathom, we chose instead to keep our borders open for everyday citizens and businesses to continue their transactions and their lives, unaffected by this sadness.

Baruch Lea Tzafrir was after all, my father.

We thank our diplomatic friends and allies for their support. A rallying international community standing with us on these troubled and painful times is of great significance to Beiteynu, its people and its government. We also express our gratitude to supporters of reason and justice and their solidarity inside Luthori.

Beiteynu remains and always will remain seated at the diplomatic table, as we wait for a sensible Luthori to join us. However, we have no choice but to be strict and demanding on any discussions, moving forward.

Sources from the PM's office have indicated that the PM himself has been in touch with the General Director of the TRA Cunnington Marit on releasing information about the investigation of the Baruch assassination, to help ease the speculations and tensions arising from lack of concrete information. The Agency, being an independent international authority, is in no obligation to release such information to the general public.

The Agency's Press & Media Office in Beiteynu is expected to release a statement in the coming weeks.

HOG Expresses Condolences for Nataniel Mata of Tukarali
Also: MOFA Opens up Multiple Diplomatic Channels with Luthori

Yishelem, Beiteynu - PM of Beiteynu Yaron Tzafrir joined MOFA's Yasmin Keshet in offering their condolences to the nation of Tukarali for the sudden loss of their beloved PM Nataniel Mata, who recently passed away in a car accident. "We worked closely with the Mata administration on shaping the international landscape, a great colleague, a great politician and a friend. The people of Beiteynu mourn with the people of Tukarali".

Sources at the MOFA indicate that Beiteynu has opened multiple diplomatic & communication channels with Luthori. "We are very much interested in reaffirming our relations after these incidents. The Tzafrir administration's mandate however, is that we remain strict towards repairing our relations", Mrs. Keshet stated.

30 Years of Economic Boldness
Tzafrir Administration Marks a Sad Period in Beiteynuese History

Image
Ministry of Finance (MOFA) of Beiteynu in Yishelem

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Late former PM of Beiteynu Baruch Lea Tzafrir began a journey of growth (as he humorously stated) by forcing the Beiteynuese people into a prolonged period of austerity measures and cutbacks. The plan seemingly backfired at first, with an alarming increase in unemployment and infrastructure problems amongst other rising issues. Beiteynu's economy stagnated severely, consumption at some point saw itself drop below the historic 50% mark and the Beiteynuese people protested in the streets year after year, demanding the government bring back a frivolous era of spending, now long forgotten.

Meanwhile, HH and the Tzafrir administration became one of the most unpopular political parties in Beiteynu's history. Private industry and corporations, however, flourished, as the public sector saw itself decrease in size and influence, with Ministries, departments and government offices shrinking down heavily, paving the way - and enhanced by aggressive privatisation efforts - for private industry to fill the gap. An entire generation of public servants found themselves in need of new jobs and new skills, skyrocketing national unemployment and plummeting Beiteynu's GDP.

A new generation now enters the job market in an entirely different, privately-dominated industry, while the previous, public-service centered generation has now put a severe strain on the government's welfare and pension funds. While a yet again rising technology and defence industry - free of state constraints - has been boosting up production and solidly increasing YoY spending and an international agenda aggressively pursued by the MOFA opening up borders for foreign trade and businesses, it does not seem to be keeping up with the drainage flow coming in from state health and welfare.

Poverty for older generations has been on the rise, as the government cannot keep up.

HH took it a step further: it outright killed entire departments and offices by also withdrawing from a series of international treaties and coalitions (which has re-entered gradually over the course of the last 5 years). Cutting losses and adjusting government spending, YoY, in an aggressive attempt to combat Beiteynu's enormous deficit and paying back its debt. As a result of that, Beiteynuese government spending has seen a steady surplus of 10 to 15M LOD, consistently every year, amounting into a total of 480M LOD building up over the last 23 years, to be injected back into the market, but with no plan ahead.

The Tzafrir administration (now son of Baruch Lea Tzafrir, Yaron) promises the end of the tunnel, soon.

But the Beiteynuese people have been dipped in exhaustion and sadness for too long to see the light.

MOFIN Launches a 500M LOD Investment Fund
Government of Beiteynu Drafts the Equifund Agreement

Image
Keren Shlomo, Minister of Finance

Yishelem, Beiteynu - MOFIN's Keren Shlomo announced earlier today the launch of Equifund, a state investment fund which "will specialise in offering private entities of signatory nations of the Equifund Agreement the necessary capital to invest in technology and defence companies". The Ministry also established the Investments Office of the Equifund, assigning a team of 15 ministry officials to manage an initial 500M LOD fund. The fund's capital will be maintained with additional funds each year by the government's spending surplus.

While the fund is widely available to private entities located in Beiteynu, the agreement stipulates that private entities from signatory nations can receive a percentage of capital to either invest in existing businesses in Beiteynu, to create new ones or to establish subsidiaries inside Beiteynu.

The announcement seems to come as a response to rising questions on the Tzafrir administration's economic agenda.

MOFIN Establishes the Dorvish Trade Office
Also: HH to Introduce Favourable Tax Cuts for Businesses

Image
Federal Trade Association in Tel Bira, Beiteynu

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - The newly founded Dorvish Trade Office in Tel Bira will operate in conjunction with the Federal Trade Association, a department of the former MOIT, now under the jurisdiction of the MOFIN. The purpose of the Dorvish Trade Office will be to implement and actively pursue funding, infrastructure, trade opportunities and contract/government requirements under the Dorvish Trade Association and Economic Pact, in an effort to incentivise businesses and grow trade between both nations. The office will also be responsible in expediting bureaucracy and clearing obstacles for private entities, working directly with the Federal Trade Association to publish permits, approve budgets and draft contracts.

"We've long maintained an open and unhindered relationship with the people of Dorvik and look forward to extending these relations with new opportunities in trade and business", MOFIN's Yasmin Keshet stated in a press conference yesterday afternoon. This new development comes right after the announcement of the Equifund and the Equifund Agreement. Sources in the MOFIN state that the Minister's office will be actively pursuing both avenues.

HH is expected to introduce tax cuts for businesses in the coming months.
