"Mr. Alekseev was a true-blooded Trigunian and we owe him a lot"


A solemn looking Chairman Kalinin announces the National Day of Mourning.

Today it was announced that tomorrow will be a National Day of Mourning in Trigunia. Chairman Kalinin made a short announcement on television stating that "the passing of this Trigunian statesman is a true loss for Trigunia, mr. Alekseev was a true-blooded Trigunian and we owe him a lot." The Chairman, who is also the leader of the Worker's Party, often clashed with Alekseev in parliament, the two being the main rivals within the Trigunian political scheme. Even though their long rivalry the current Chairman seems to have a lot of respect for his former nemesis. Kalinin also stated that his party will refrain from putting forth proposals to parliament for the coming weeks, to give the KDP some time to settle internal matters. "The loss of such a giant is a great blow to the KDP and I will wait for them to restructure, once everything is settled the trumpets of battle can blow again and the political forces may clash once more" said mr. Kalinin.

ELECTION CAMPAIGN FOR LEADERSHIP OF THE KADETS HAS BEGUN
The election campaign for the leader of the Konstitutsionno-Demokraticheskaya Partia has begun, with three candidates for that post. The favourite is Lieutenant-Colonel Duke Nikolay Kirillov, a close friend of Duke Alekseev, however Baron Vladimir Borisov also has a chance. The third candidate is Baron Stanislav Gusarov. The campaigning has already begun, and the elections will start next month. May God grant them luck.

KIRILLOV EMERGES VICTORIOUS IN KADET LEADERSHIP ELECTIONS
After the recent Kadet leadership elections, Lieutenant-Colonel Duke Nikolay Kirillov has become the Archchancellor, beating Borisov by a margin of 7%. He has released a statement giving his deepest condolences to the Alekseev family, declaring his intention to continue Duke Kirill Alekseev's legacy and appointing Baron Borisov as Chancellor of the Internal Chancellery. He has also thanked the Party Duma for electing him as Archchancellor.

KADET PARTY OFFER SUPPORT FOR KALISTAN FOR C
Today, Kadet Party Archchancellor has announced that his party supports Kalistan's claim for seat C on the Security Council and, if the Kadet Party win the upcoming elections, will nominate Kalistan for seat C on the Security Council. He made a short speech in front of the Kadet Party Duma:

We must support Kalistan in their Kalistan for C campaign, to ensure the long standing friendship between Trigunia and Kalistan remains strong. We, if elected, will nominate Kalistan for seat C on the Security Council. We will also pass the message on through our international affilations. Thank you.

ROMANOV AND UDINOV FAMILIES UNITED
Today, a great day has occurred. The Tsetsarevich, Kirill Vladimirovich Romanov, and the former Tsarina of Trigunia, Aleksandra Udinova, have married. This has united the two Trigunian royal families into one. Grand Duke Kirill's and Grand Duchess Aleksandra's surnames are now Romanov-Udinov. It is known that they have been courting each other, and they are a happy couple which love each other. We hope this union will last long.

KADETS BACK IN POWER
Yesterday, the Konstitutsionno-Demokraticheskaya Partia have returned to power after one term of the Rabochaya Partiya. The Kadets are planning to propose an all-Kadet Committee of Ministers to, as Prime Minister Kirillov has said, "make sure no radicals or anti-monarchists are in power". The election was very close, resulting in the Kadets receiving 162 seats in the State Duma and 158 seats in the State Council, while the Rabochaya Partiya received 138 seats in the State Duma and 142 seats in the State Council. These results show that the people want to keep Trigunian values and virtues intact and ensure liberty and democracy is preserved.

TSAR VISITS WEST DELTARIA
The Tsar has recently returned from a visit to West Deltaria and has told that the relations between the two nations are strong as never before. The Tsar went with his eldest son, the Tsetsarevich. He has met the Tsarina of Deltaria, given a speech on one of the meetings of the Hall of Royalists and visited the frontline in the south of the country. He has reviewed the Trigunian troops assisting the Deltarians and has given a short speech which hopefully has raised morale and inspired the Trigunian troops. The Tsar has returned happy and has said that:

Triguno-Deltarian relations have greatly increased and we hope that this Delic union will last until the end of the existence of our two holy nations.

We hope the same is to be.

TRIGUNIA NOMINATES KALISTAN FOR SEAT C AND DELTARIA FOR SEAT B
The Imperial Assembly has passed a bill nominating Kalistan for seat C on the Security Council and Deltaria fro seat B. The bill was proposed by the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers, Lieutenant-Colonel Duke Nikolay Kirillov. This is to, as he said, "ensure a balanced and varying Security Council is formed". Many critics, especially from the Rabochaya Partiya, say that Trigunia should stay neutral and appoint the Great Powers, but the Prime Minister is most definitely not planning to do so.

Yesterday evening Vladimir II, the Emperor of all Trigunia, Tsar of the Rodshyans, Hetman of the Kozaks, Kaiser of the Tirgith Hulstrians and the rest and the rest and the rest, died of a heart attack, aged 96. He will be remembered by all of us as a strong statesman, who loved his country second only to God, a person who led us through times of trouble while other monarchs would cower in fear and the man who made a new strong and powerful Trigunia. His family will remember him as a loving father and husband and the army as a skilled tactician and strategist, and a brave and inspiring leader. May the Kingdom of Heaven be his. In a few months, his eldest son, the Tsetsarevich, Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich will be crowned as Emperor of all Trigunia.

NEW EMPEROR CROWNED
Today, is a happy day for all Trigunian patriots for the Tsetsarevich, Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich has been crowned as Emperor of all Trigunia. As with his father's coronation, the second the Imperial crown touched the new Emperor's head, patriotic cries of "God save the Tsar!" and "God with us!" were heard from the people who crowded Uspenskiy Sobor to see the coronation. The coronation was followed by a crucession led by the new Tsar, the Patriarch of all Trigunia, and the Metropolitan Bishops of Petrovgrad, Rodshyadam, Tiroslavl, Vernograd and Sebenogorsk, which were followed by the other members of the Royal Family and the Higher Trigunian Clergy. From now on, the Emperor will be Kirill Vladimirovich I and the Empress Consort shall be Aleksandra Nikolaevna.
