Gongmangdo, Dankuk - The last few weeks have seen a frenzy of activity in the Dankuk State Office, as it immediately initiated operations after the capitol bombing, in coordination with the Pact's peacekeeping force stationed in Dankuk and local authorities which remain loyal to the democratic cause. Authorities have reported that a total of 4 raids in capitol apartments and 3 in locations of interest in the outskirts of the city have resulted in the arrest of 2 individuals indirectly involved in the events leading to the capitol bombing. The investigation by the joint task force will now focus on the Agency's intelligence in locating and apprehending Captain Woo Seongbin, who's now, by all measures, the country's most wanted man.
"Nothing will stop Dankuk's free elections", the Dankuk State Office's spokesperson stated earlier this morning, "no bombing, no martial laws and no curfews. The Beiteynuese Government and the Pact will punish severely those who stand against democracy in Dankuk, but these are the most extreme measures that will be taken. The Dankukian people will not be punished for the acts of the few, as they deserve to see a shining new day of democracy".
As to the claims of internal turmoil amongst the newly formed factions, the spokesperson commented "it is a healthy sign of democratic debate". They also declined to comment on the status of the pending elections, citing that the election process is not under the oversight of the Beiteynuese Government.
