Stellar Opinion is an independent newspaper based in Lourenne that releases opinion, editorials, and analyses dailyBy: Anna Mouseau, Senior Editor at L'Opinion StellairePreviewFor today's piece in Stellar Opinion, I will attempt to analyze the true power and scope of the Royal Family. I will attempt to find out the
most I can about the Family's charity network, their assets based on their residencies and previous marriages, and their future growth
following the birth of the Queen's second son three days ago. Yet, before I begin to delve deep into years of information about our royals
I will begin by examining the history behind the two distinguished families that gave us the present Lourennais monarchy and how they
built their way to the top to become one of Terra's most influential monarchies.
The Basis for the MonarchyLet's recall that Lourenne remained a republic for several hundreds years after the fall of the Golden Kingdom. Several historians refer
to it as the Republique Lourennais. That is until the Orléans family appeared on the national stage. (This family is not to be confused
with the Orléans-Vasser dynasty). The Orléans was already an extremely successful family in Lourenne prior to the establishment of
the monarchy. The family owned several vineyards in the Lucande region and owned several residencies along the Bellemont coast
region. The family introduced themselves in Lourennais politics for years and for several years were re-elected as Lourennais presidents.
Yet, the country underwent massive protests as a result of the family giving the democratically elected presidency a false narrative.
In order to appease the public and look to change the structure of the government. Isabelle Orléans married Landry DeChambeau to
create the House of Orléans-DeChambeau as well as the Kingdom of Lourenne. Now, the DeChambeau family was another successful
family in Lourenne. The family has historical roots to Rildanor, which only added even more prestige to the newly created family.
This was the birth of the new kingdom. Now every king needs a home. Both families combined their funds to construct expansions and
modernizations to the Palace of Lights. The Palace of Lights currently, including its internal artistic pieces and architecture, is valued
at around 30 billion Lourennais Francs. yet, at the time it is estimated that over 500 million dollars were put into the construction of
the palace and has since then been improved. This takes me to our current projection which I have analyzed through research.
First Estimates and Past MarriagesNow, the older Lourennais royal house has gone through many changes. It evolved into a stronger more powerful house. The one we
know today. The children of Isabelle and Landry went on to marry to three other prestigious houses on Terra. Herbert, went to marry
Princess Victoria of Hutori. today, this is the main branch that sits on the throne. Louise-Marie married into the Sun Clan of Indrala, and
Henri, the couple's last child married into the House of Rongstad of Kazulia. Two of these branches still exist today (Hutorian branch
and the Kazulian branch). Being part of these houses brought significant amounts of wealth into the Royal family. Shortly after the
marriages and the establishment of the family, the Royal Palace received an expansion, the family bought several residencies in Porte
Orleans, Avienne-les-Baines, and in St.Madeleine. All together, according to the Royal Visibility act of 4720, the residencies were totaled
at over 56 million francs. The expansion of the Palace of Lights totaled over 100 million francs. So, doing our adding, including all
previous expenditures, the family's worth should be at least 900 million to 1 billion francs. Years after the expansion of the palace, the
then King Herbert used funds to begin the Royal Fund for the Future of the Kingdom fund, which focused on funneling charitable
donations towards improving local communities and ensuring rights for all the future generations of Lourennais residents. Yet, I have
not mentioned the substantial amount of money received when Queen Catherine married into the House of Orléans-Vasser, the house
of Canrille, including Rildanor, Kanjor, and Alduria.
The Seat of Power of a lost RealmQueen Catherine of Lourenne, the first born of King Herbert and Princess Victoria of Hutori, married Francois III of the House of
Orléans-Vasser. This marriage sealed the future of the diminishing House of Orléans-Vasser and gave the Lourennais monarchy supreme
legitimacy. Because Francois III was heir to the house of Orléans-Vasser, all of the family's assets went to his children. This means that
the current royal family has inherited all the funds of the ancient Canrillaise noble house. Now, like the Crown Representative said in
an interview a year back, "the most assets the Lourennais family inherited was after its marriage with the Orléans-Vasserists", Let's
recap what has happened for the past several hundred years: the royal family has purchased and/or restored its old residencies in
Kanjor and Rildanor, it purchased more residencies in Lourenne, began 4 more separate charities for the nations youth and energy
systems, and has boosted the area around the Palace of Lights including small businesses and local communities. I spoke to my friends
working down at the analytics database, and according to them, they're placing the family's net worth, including all of its residencies,
charities, programs, and historical estimate, at around 70 Billion Francs. Most of this of course from the Palace of Lights, siting at an
astounding 30 billion like I mentioned before. So, the House of Orléans-Vasser really gave the Lourennais a boost. The current Lourennais
Royal Family is now a cadet branch and the main branch of the House of Orléans-Vasser. Of course this makes sense considering the
Lourennais Royals have kingly titles over 4 different nations.
Final Thoughts and RecapSo as I finish up my analysis, I've never quite mentioned how powerful these royals are. Well, the monarchs do have quite a large
military at their disposal this of course is regulated through the nation's legislature. The charities the royals own and donate to are
of course very important towards the development of smaller communities in the nation. They have also given enough money to
help reduce the poverty percentage in the nation. I have honestly forgotten how many residencies they own, put that on top of
the largest palace in the eastern hemisphere, as well as the titles and divine right to rule three nations in south Seleya. The
most of all this family has is money. Plenty of money. Power? Of course they have it. Because money is power. Right? Again this is
just a stellar opinion.
