Strong words from the Raja

Today, at his weekly speech from the balcony of his palace, His Majesty the Raja found strong words in connection with the newly founded news agency in Beiteynu and Jutridan. He critizised the erection of "yet another news agency, only bound on misinformation and the sowing of discontent", and sincerely warned the people of Beiteynu that they better not listen to this "newly dug hole of corruption".

In his most wise and merciful way, His Majesty the Raja of all Rajas has today announced that he and the Abode of Welfare are firmly standing on the side of the Jakanian monarchy. He has the outspoken belief that no country can prosper if it is not under the leadership of one absolute ruler, and none would be better than a monarch. He announced that, if asked, Malivia would be ready to deploy troups to help the monarchist cause.

Malivia declares support of Jakanian monarchists, sends troops

The royal regiment on horse parading through his Majesty the Raja's Divine Stronghold

This weeks, after being sent off by the Raja himself in the course of a huge parade in His Majesty the Raja's Divine Stronghold, 150,000 Malivian men and women left the country in order to fight for the monarchist cause in Jakania. The Yang di Pertuang-Agong himself had declared this cause to be a divine one, of grave importance for any who follows the Gerajan faith, as the monarch is nothing short of the divine's representative on earth. The Malivians who left were in good spirit, their leader, General Mawad bin Ahim, confident, that the Malivian force would help the monarchists numbers greatly, and thus, together with the God's will, would ensure the victory of Sultan Syed I., leaving their adversaries dying in their own blood, for "the fight against your own king is tantamount to a fight against your own God".

Malivian Troops will not lose their honour

In response to the declaration of Syed I., in which he abandons all his rights to the throne of Jakania, General Mawad bin Ahim, leader of the troops in Jakania, issued a declaration in which he states that "it is almost impossible to believe that a monarch would abandon his duties to his people and his nation. It is not the monarch's privilege to rule, it is his duty! The Malivian brigades will not cease the fight in Jakania, for as long as the monarchy is not established. If Sultan Syed is indeed as weak as his latest proclamation makes him out to be (although we believe it much more probable that he was forced by republican malcontents), the Malivian brigades will see to it, that another of his bloodline will rise to the throne!"

It is not yet clear if a relative of the Sultan will accept to be the new favoured king; but for the moment the Malivian forces have bunkered themselves in in a large part of the city of Wakanda, where they were stationed before the Sultan's evacuation. Since the Malivian troops never were engaged in battle, 150 000 men stand ready to take on anybody who would try to force them out of Jakania.

Reactions from the Yang di Pertuan-Agong have not yet been publicised, however the Archchancellor already said in an interview, that General Mawad's reaction was not mandated by the Raja, and is viewed with suspicion as it could mean that the General is even prepared to go rogue.

Possible Coalition with Indrala?

SInce both the Malivian and the Indralan troops in Jakania are both fighting for the same cause, and the relationship between both kingdoms has been a traditionally good one, it is now considered more than possible, that both countries' troops will unite in their struggle for a monarch of Jakania. Together, they would have over 300,000 men in Jakania, ready to fight for Sultan Syed II.
Right now, the leaders of both armies have already come together to decide further actions and tactics against their republican enemies.

Along with this, rumors have it that Indrala and Malivia are going to be working closer together not only via their troops in Jakania, but also via a mutual defence pact, that is currently in the making. Officials are not yet publicising any details, but are expected to do so in the next days.

Celebrations for Jakania

After the republican forces announced their retreat, shameful and well-deserved as it is, the Malivian forces in Jakania are now celebrating the victory of the monarchy over the sacrilege that is the republic. Their general, Mawad bin Ahim, has announced that the Malivian troops shall return triumphantly to Malivia in some weeks, as soon as the situation is stable and under the full control of the rightful monarch, Sultan Syed II.

Malivia denies accusations from Selucia

Today, the Minister of Defence, Leopold Sayyasaburagh, answered accusations following a recent article called "Modernisation of the nuclear forces" in the Selucianum Libererum, the national newspaper of the Selucian Empire:

Selucianum Libererum wrote:According to recent planes the nuclear forces of Malivia will be modernised in the next 15 years with 2 billion MCR per year. The defence secretary, Albert Reisbach, announced already the modernaisation of the biggest submarine called: Seluica, which can carry 25 interncontinal nuclear rockets with each having 9 warheads.
All 6 nuclear submarines will be modernised in 15 years time and so provide the nuclear deterrence on a new base.
All nuclear submarines' technique will be as well modernised including every part of the submarine and especially their radar.
Meanwhile the opposition critisesed the government for that decision, because of the long period of time and the unwillingness of the government to invest as well into a new base for the submarines. The defence secretary denied that the government doesn't want to invest into new bases, but "the government will concider carefully what is the least expensive option", so Mr Reisbach.

The Minister expressively insisted that Malivia doesn't even have a nuclear program, and that any more accusations will be met with severe diplomatic repercussions. "We are a peaceful nation, and we will never even develop such disgusting weaponry. We can not fathom were Selucia might have gotten its sources from, although it seems to be some sort of spy planes ("According to recent planes") or drones. We demand that any kind of these unlawful and completely unprovoked operations stop instantly, and that the Selucian newspaper stops to print lies about the Abode of Welfare!".

As of today, there have been no reactions from Selucian officials, although it is said that the Raja had the Selucian ambassador called to his palace for a serious discussion.

Malivia entered by foreign comedian troupe - nice to have something to laugh again, says GWP

As it has been noticed now by the international community, a new party has formed in the Kingdom of Malivia - the पीपुल्स पार्टी. Since they use an obviously newly invented language and a funny looking alphabet, nobody except their higher officials - a selfmade guru and Mr Khaled, a militant atheist - knows what their party is called in Malivian or English. "We suspect that it is something like 'Two bed springs in may' or maybe 'Unity through accordingly folded clay-pots'", says Professor Ahim bin Farsid of His Majesty the Raja's Divine Stronghold University, "but we can really just guess here."

The new party claims to be representing the native Walkunians, an ethnic group that was either newly discovered (or, as some say, invented) by them, since it has never been mentioned or heard of before in the history of Malivia. "Ethnic Walkunians?", asks Dr. Muhammad bin Khalid, renowned anthropologist of the University of Walkunia, "There is no such thing - I mean, apart from all Malivians who have originated in Walkunia. But the language has always been Malivian here."

But, since the party of पीपुल्स पार्टी seems to take their political ways very seriously - as they routinely try to offend the Raja and the Gerajan faith in their proposals, as well as apparently trying to make Malivia a colonial power - nobody is quite sure of their intentions there - it may well be that the Malivian people, who have often chosen humour over a serious political debate, will give their hearts and votes to the new party, and may well be enticed by their refreshingly inventive antics enough to even make them powerful enough to overthrow the Raja. A spokesman of his Majesty the Yang di Pertuan Agong said that in this case His Majesty will go peacefully into exile in some friendly country - Indrala, perhaps, as Jakania seems not to willing to help its old ally - and wait until the people have had enough of the पीपुल्स पार्टी's jokes, and will once again welcome their Raja with open arms.

Religious Unrest?

After decades of peace and complacency, the factions of Geraja seem to have been stirred up by a new wave of secularism. While for the past hundred years and more, people and religious leaders had been happy to follow the (mainstream) Gerajan creed that made the Raja its ultimate spiritual leader, and consequently the involvement of the Raja and his country in religious matters, a new kind of thinking seems to have entered the Abode of Welfare. More and more seem to be criticising the Raja's involvement in the religious affairs of the individual and more and more seem to be demanding a secular nation. While the पीपुल्स पार्टी were first to pick up on that new stream of spirituality, more and more of the more important politicians have sent certain signals that they might consider a turn to this new views. And so rumor has it that already some of the 75 Tan Sri have changed their outlook on religion and the state. The Gerajan Welfare Party, currently the only political body with members in the 75 Tan Sri and the Raja's ministers, has not yet commented on these changes, but, if any past behaviour can be an indicator of what is to come, will probably go with the flow as soon as political reason demands.

Legal Threats on the rise

Today, a spokesman for His Majesty the Raja announced publically that the Yang di Pertuan Agong was contemplating to have the पीपुल्स पार्टी sued for violating the Law of Loyalty 3180 (part of the Constitution of Malivia, http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=301315), for claiming he would rule as colonial lord and the public cries for his removal.
