April 5320 - Kundrati government renegotiates alliance agreement
Following the 5314 scandal of the Agency's meddling in Artanian foreign relations and the investigation of the affair by the Kundrati government, both sides have entered into talks on renewing the existing Alliance Agreement to secure their ties onwards into the 54th century

- Discussions on the MSO have reached a standing point in negotiations on the amended composition of the organisation
- MOIT reports the Bei Ishmael and Le Hofest Acts are almost completed after massive delays due to economic stagnation
- Beiteynuese Naval Command to procure 2 additional destroyers from Lourenne for the Yamin (South) Fleet in Istalia
- Conspiracy theories of a Yeudi Conclave pick up in Kundrati and Deltaria

Yishelem, Beiteynu - "As far as we're aware, this is a healthy discussion", was the statement of Noah Kadiyot, the Head of the Medinat Department, in a joint press conference earlier this morning with the Office of Artanian Affairs, "that comes as a result of both shedding a light onto our foreign policy indiscretions of the early 53rd century as well as Kundrati's reemergence as a diplomatically capable state, which, after extended talks, it seems that both sides are willing to turn the page and continue moving forward together as allies as we've done since 5288, when our nations entered into an alliance". The Medinat Department however did express its lack of enthusiasm on Kundrati's seeming lack of commitment to the alliance, citing how the Beiteynuese government and the Yeudi people did not receive much support during the Rildanorian, Badaran and Trigunian/Keris crises of the recent past, wishing that "Kundrati would make up its mind on whether we're allies and together on this rather than just one of their acquaintances", underlining how the "friends with everyone" mandate of the Kundrati foreign policy much pursued throughout the course of the last 70+ years since the civil war has barely made a dent in Kundrati's gravitas internationally.

The discussions have thus far circulated around a slight commitment to climate protection, an extension of trade quotas which have been surpassed regardless of the alliance's provisos as the Olami Trade Association reports, diplomatic mediation across both aisles, political influence and military. Insofar as the political influence of Yeudi Heritage Centers is concerned in the National Assembly, sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have hinted that the Beiteynuese Government is rather "displeased" with Kundrati's demands in barring Yeudis residing in Kundrati from lobbying politicians, considering how they're "Kundrati citizens with the same rights" and that such a "political manoeuvre" risks setting an "anti-democratic precedence", which, although the Medinat Department has agreed in revising under a proviso stating that Yeudi Heritage Centers are not political organisations and thus far can't represent organised political influence in Kundrati, has been noted by the Beiteynuese Government as a "situation to be monitored closely", in the hopes that Kundrati will change its mind. As per the military provisos, both sides have agreed to limit the presence of the Beiteynuese Defence Force in Kundrati just to the Beiteynuese Naval Command and the Artanian Fleet, which the Beiteynuese Command and the Medinat Department have both confirmed as the already existing intention and mandate of the Beiteynuese Government - "our presence in Kundrati has nothing to do with their soil and everything to do with their security and sovereignty at sea".

Executives from the Equifund - the consortium of public and private entities led by Beiteynu - have raised their eyebrows in Kundrati's demands to limit the threshold of defence contracts issued to the consortium from 50% to 25%. Albeit the commercial ties of both nations having been stronger than ever across a plethora of industries such as shipping, banking and food/manufacturing, the defence sector in Kundrati has been slow in picking up its pace, considered by many competitors such as the Artanian Defence Group and Lourennais defence manufacturers as "nonexistent", a sentiment recently expressed by Equifund executives as negotiations on a revised alliance agreement reach a point of drafting a new document. As the Beiteynuese defence sector seeks to expand its ties with the industries of Istalia and Lourenne, the revised agreement is projected to negate investor confidence in Kundrati, with Yishel Investment Group - a premier investor of the consortium - stating that it will revisit Lirnakican Technological Investment Bank's involvement in the Olami Kleneshek Expo jointly founded in 5307, as chatter in the executive lobbies of Beir Leshet and Tikkun Haganah picks up on looking elsewhere in joint research, development and especially the co-production of military equipment with KDC, of which the Kundrati entity has dived into extensively in recent decades.

Manufacturing sector picks up momentum via Lourennais trade
The 117M LOD investment secured by Malekivokovokavotorim from the long standing buddy-buddy system of Tomasadyn National of Kundrati and Ashalon Bank BEIFG marks the emergence of investor momentum instigated by the increase of Beiteynuese-Lourennais commerce

Image

Yakovshtot, Beiteynu - Beiteynuese manufacturing has largely limited itself to products related to its other dominant sectors of shipping, banking and travel, with a focus on office related supplies and equipment, aviation and seafaring related hardware - with the latter commonly co-produced and/or assembled in Kundrati facilities, as well as agricultural products such as chemical compounds and fertilisers from the likes of Gar Kadot, the country's industry leader since 5271, and a reliance on products and goods imported from the primary sectors of foreign markets, such as Dankuk's world renowned timber (with the exception of goat refinement exports to Selucia, which the Olami Trade Association still claims it doesn't really understand but doesn't regulate at all). With Kundrati's increased domination of the food industry - agriculture, packaging, fishing and manufacturing - in Beiteynu since the 80s, the 2 premier financial institutions on either side that have shared a long standing tradition of joint investments for the better part of the last 50 years, have recognised the potential for growth and commercial opportunities recently sparked by the emergence of Lourennais trade, enforced by the preference of manufacturing and computer hardware imports from Lourenne, as stipulated by the Alliance Agreement that sought to create a solid commercial framework between the 2 regional players.

With the noticeable domestic stability observed on all 3 sides - Beiteynu, Kundrati and Lourenne - investor confidence is projected to continue picking up momentum over the course of the next years, nurturing the ground for joint partnerships, as the Beiteynuese manufacturing sector continues to further specialise in shipping, banking and travel related products and equipment for its domestic industries, while Kundrati and Lourennais investors and executives seek to further expand their operations in the country's manufacturing related to the food industry and computer hardware, accordingly. Lourennais entities are also expected to pursue eco-friendly reforms in Beiteynu, heavily influenced by Lourenne's long standing and historical tradition of green policies, Kundrati's recent uptick in eco protection interest and Beiteynu's own heavily pollutant industry especially in the urban centers of the West Bank, southwest of the Karkaari mountain line.

May 5320 - Navy to conduct joint exercises in south Seleya
In seeking to commemorate the Yamin Fleet's operations in Istalia, the Beiteynuese Naval Command will request approval from Istalian command to conduct joint naval exercises with Lourenne off the shores in south Seleya as part of a multi-step program in solidifying military logistics with the Lourennais government

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The Ministry of Defence has released the details of a multi-step program towards solidifying military logistics in naval operations in south Seleya, drafted by a joint task force formed between the Beiteynuese and Lourennais governments, as both sides seek to establish a foothold in their long-term strategy of protecting the stability and security of the continent, a mandate pursued since 5301 and later established as a major stipulation of the Beiteynuese - Lourennais Alliance Agreement that both countries entered into 16 years later. The program will be limited to overcoming the logistical and capability hindrances in establishing military deployment and support lines both in terms of the region around Alduria, Kanjor and Rildanor, as well as due to the lack of related experience by the recently announced Yamin (South) Fleet of the Beiteynuese Naval Command in Istalia since 5316, with its formation still underway, including the procurement of an additional 2 destroyers from Lourennais defence manufacturers. Considering its extended military expertise and experience compared to Beiteynu's navy and the country's historical military presence in Rildanor, Lourenne will play a pivotal role in both leading the joint naval exercises as well as facilitating the necessary training operations in achieving the program's goals. The Beiteynuese Naval Command commented that it will be sharing the details of the composition of the Yamin Fleet at a later date, including the appointment of the fleet's admiral.

The Medinat Department, in an attempt to bring Beiteynu's allies closer to each other, has also extended via the Beiteynuese Command an invite to Istalian command in actively joining the exercises alongside the Yamin Fleet. In par with Beiteynu's military alliances with Pontesi and Kundrati, the Ministry of Defence has also began drafting the inclusion of military officers from both countries to partake in the exercises for the purposes of gaining knowledge and experience in conducting multinational naval exercises, albeit the program's limited sphere in logistical and supply chains rather than military deployment and warfare operations, which both the Beiteynuese and Lourennais government have deemed as "impractical for numerous reasons" for the time being.

Honouring past efforts with Selucia since 5301, the MOD will also be drafting military officers from Beiteynu's close neighbour in northwest Majatra.

July 5320 - Keren Shlomo passes away from heart failure
The pioneering figure of modern Beiteynuese economics who later served as Prime Minister in the subsequent Shlomo Administrations since 5264 has passed away from heart failure, having lived a full life as one of the most active political figures in recent Beiteynuese history

Yishelem, Beiteynu - With the state funeral expected to take place next month, the Medinat Department has forwarded invitations to Beiteynu's diplomatic friends, partners and allies across Terra to join the country as it mourns the passing of one of its most active - and sometimes controversial in her aggressive pursuit of commercial interests with the recession of the 53rd century's last decade notwithstanding - Prime Ministers in recent history.

February 5321 - "We've embarked so far on the journey we crafted together"
The Medinat Department responds to the skepticism made public by Istalian Minister of Defense Carla Geronimo by attempting to remind the current government that the strategy pursued by Yishelem was crafted equally by both sides more than 100 years ago

Yishelem, Beiteynu - The Medinat Department has raised an eyebrow to the skepticism issued by the Istalian Government on the Beiteynuese Naval Command's presence in Istalian naval bases in 5316 with the formation of the Yamin (South) Fleet - which is still in the works. Evidently the recent request by the BDF to conduct joint naval exercises with Lourenne in south Seleya last year - which are subject to approval, validation and authorisation by Istalian command and thus far has been halted in its tracks by the Istalian Ministry of Defense - sparked some sort of controversy in the left-wing nationalist factions of the Istalian Chamber of Deputies, with Istalian Minister of Defense Carla Geronimo voicing serious skepticism and concerns over the agreement.

"We've embarked so far on the journey we crafted together more than 100 year ago", was the statement of Noah Kadiyot, the Head of the Medinat Department that's in charge of Beiteynuese foreign relations across Terra. "You can understand the surprise of the Beiteynuese Command that the issue has been raised a 2nd time by recent Istalian governments, which makes us think that the memo was lost somewhere along the way. The presence of the Beiteynuese Naval Command is entirely subject to Istalian command and by our understanding more than 5 years ago it would assimilate itself directly into Istalia's navy, hopefully enforcing our ally's own naval presence in the region via our joint efforts, especially considering how we have been trying to bridge relations between Istalia and Lourenne at the same time. That was the whole point of the exercise, based on the strategy both sides agreed upon a long time ago: we would enhance each other's sphere of influence across both tips of the continent of Majatra. To that end, we welcome Istalian naval presence in Beiteynu. The strategy is a mutual quid pro quo for the benefit of both sides. We are more than happy to withdraw and pursue other military avenues with Lourenne towards regional stability, as trade and commerce picks up in the continent of Seleya - which we had assumed we'd do together with our historic ally in southeast Majatra."

The recent doubts into Beiteynuese-Istalian military partnerships has also demotivated investor confidence within the Equifund, with rumours citing that Biraero, Beiteynu's premier aeronautics developer, will explore other aviation related partnerships outside its existing one with Istalian developer AUDISS.

Beiteynu's minority communities' benefits from MOHES initiative
March 5321 - Dubbed the 'Hosian and Ahmadi Healthcare Initiative' or HAHI for short, this has allowed the MOHES to address language barriers and provide equitable healthcare access to the already marginalized people in the country, part of the Weiss Administration's initiative to serve the diverse needs of the Beiteynuese population.
Also published on The Terran Times and distributed internationally

- Construction of 20 healthcare centers along with 2 community centers has commenced in rural areas of the country
- Land Transport Authority (LTA) initiate visits to schools to promote road safety programs
- MOEC to work with MOHES and MOST to facilitate research grants and health scholarships to universities using the HRIF
- Weiss Administration establish the Medinyout Levreot Agency in response to comprehensive health intiatives pursued by the MOHES

Yishelem, Beiteynu - As part of the National Health Strategy Act and summit commitments made during the National Health Summit, healthcare facilities across the country has been equipped with trained translators and interpreters proficient in the languages spoken by minority communities in this country. Not only that, the MOHES is currently conducting specialized training/workshops to provide 'culturally sensitive care'. This means that healthcare professionals will deliver their services tailored to meet the needs, values and beliefs of minority communities.

The Ministry has also deployed their officials to initiate partnerships with local organizations and community leaders through public consultation. According to a local health official, this initiative by the state mandates them to raise awareness about issues such as healthcare rights, preventive measures and availability of resources. These efforts in turn will allow everyone especially from the minority communities to actively participate in their healthcare decision making process.

"I used to struggle to communicate with healthcare providers due to the language barrier, and it made it difficult to express my concerns and understand my treatment options," a member of the Ahmadi community said. "These interpreters have made a huge difference in ensuring I receive the care I need. It's a relief to know that my voice matters." Meanwhile, Minister of Health and Social Services Ruth Silverman said this initiative along with many programs announced by her Ministry will have a significant impact in decades to come or more, adding "We are more committed to ensuring that our minority communities have access to high quality healthcare facilities," she said.

Nevertheless, the Ministry has begun implementing their policies and initiatives in line with the National Health Strategy and the Summit. Recognizing the magnitude of the task at hand, the Ministry acknowledges that these endeavors will require sufficient time and effort to yield the desired results.

September 5321 - "Grabbed" hits theatres in worldwide debut
Yalev Pilohaniv's new crime action movie based on the true events of the Rildanorian civil war sees Biar Beison in the role of the ambassador's aid scrambling to escort the Beiteynuese diplomats across the war torn country in an endless chase of cat and mouse

Image

Tel Bira, Beiteynu - The new action packed "Grabbed" movie by notorious director Yalev Pilohaniv from Kundrati premiered last night in Tel Bira and Kasaema (Kundrati) much to critical acclaim over its angry depiction of the events that took place shortly after the attack of the Beiteynuese embassy in 5291. Spliced of course with heavy doses of CGI, gun fights and a ridiculous number of cut scenes of the protagonist kicking the crap out of all the Rildanorian factions, the movie has audiences hooked on not really caring about which faction was at fault, but seeing the protagonist trying to rescue the Yeudis that were so cruelly and violently "grabbed" by Rildanorians, largely depicted as warmongering and politically nefarious throughout the course of the entire movie.

Social media is already bustling with GIFs and memes depicting Biar Beison in the butt kicking role of the ambassador's aid answering anonymous calls in key moments of the plot, attempting to threaten with the now iconic line but being hung up on mid sentence.

The hashtag #GrabbedSequel has been trending as of last night.

September 5321 - Medinat Department prepares integration with the MSCO
The amended layout of the Majatran Security Organisation dubbed Majatran Security Cooperation Organisation (MSCO) has reached its final form currently under voting in the Hashim Conference, activating the Medinat Department into commencing the preparations for Beiteynu's entry into the organisation

- MOD prepares to initiate the Kohav Act, a robust initiative into the Beiteynuese Defence Force's solidity for a modern Beiteynu
- MOIT slammed in the media for the massive delays in completing its port and airport expansion programs
- Olami Trade Association reports a significant uptick of commerce in the continent of Seleya, largely boosted by Beiteynuese-Lourennais relations
- Petrik Hadayot overtakes Hadayim in port contracts in Valruzia, banking executives take notice of the rising player of Beiteynuese shipping
- Equifund explores extended partnerships on warships and jet fighters with the defense industry of Lourenne
- Medinat Department reports that negotiations with Kundrati government over revised alliance agreement progress slower than expected
- Dorvish delegation enacts discussion on the rapprochement of bilateral relations, following the latest meddling scandal in Artania

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Yishelem's recent undertakings in establishing its position in the greater region of the continent of Majatra since 5288, with the Pontesian alliance in 5303 and the joint naval exercises with Selucia that solidified its diplomatic and naval hegemony in the tip of the Jelbek Peninsula and despite the recent tactical exercises with Lourenne south of Seleya causing friction with the Istalian Ministry of Defense, have culminated in a historic moment for the country as it exits its Majatra-agnostic policy and prepares to enter the amended format of the Majatran Security Organisation (MSO), dubbed the Majatran Security Cooperation Organisation (MSCO), a result of more than 2 decades of discussions since 5301 between the continent's most active members in the diplomatic arena.

The preparations are however not without trouble, as the Medinat Department attempts to find workarounds to a series of concerns and hindrances brought forward by a joint task force between the Office of Homeland Affairs and the Office of Majatran Affairs, formed with the mandate of mapping the problems and navigating the solutions of a complex diplomatic arena instigated by Yishelem's ever increasing sphere of influence around Terra (and its debacles, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to tiptoe around them, especially in reference to the most recent scandal pertaining to the Agency's meddling in Artania in regards to Luthorian-Kundrati relations, leaked in the media in 5314 - which admittedly forced the Weiss Administration to enact softer diplomacy by 5316). The 16-years-in-the-making tectonic military alliance with Eroncourt the following year solidified Beiteynu's readiness to "stop playing the long game alone".

Of the biggest concerns identified by the Medinat Department are the cut-off of diplomatic ties initiated by Badara - which breaks the cycle of Beiteynu's increasing dominance of maritime trade in the Majatran Sea - and Deltaria's reawakening of its political scene, a "mixture of currently unidentifiable ingredients", the Office of Majatran Affairs cited, however declining to comment on any active intelligence operations, considering Deltaria's past involvement in the now defunct Intelligence Pact - during which the country's intelligence personnel partook in operations led by Beiteynu itself. In theory, the treaties of the Tzafrir Policy of the early 53rd century technically allow Beiteynuese intelligence agents to perform counter-intelligence in Majatran nations, though heavily supervised by the Intelligence Oversight Committee founded in 5279, as part of the Shlomo Administration's final actions before Hevrat Hashmal's empire crumbled before the recession. Jakania is expected by the Medinat Department to "echo" Deltaria's sentiment towards Beiteynuese affairs in the continent, as rising rumours in diplomatic circles cite numerous "differences" pertaining to the vision and mandate of international diplomacy, with Deltaria disagreeing on the manner of conduct thus observed by Beiteynu, and Beiteynu looking to keep its independent posture in the partnerships it pursues both within the continent and outside, regardless of format.

In regards to Badara, Yishelem looks to its long term partner in Kafuristan, hoping to continue renewing their relations in the outmost regard, with the Olami Trade Association and the Bureau of Keshef Management looking to broker new joint investments into the tourism industry, sparked by Kafuri interest following the #VisitBei campaign since 5284, despite any discussions into expanding petroleum refinement in Sholemberg by Kafuri oil executives falling short.

"Curious", is the statement of the Medinat Department with regards to the Zardic Federation's non acknowledgement into ratifying the recently released Beiteynuese Framework of Diplomacy & Friendship, with numerous eyebrows raised on how relations will turn, considering their lack thereof.

September 5321 - "Loyalty and allegiance go both ways"
Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Meaholit has made a public commitment to Beiteynu's long-term partner and ally in an attempt to silence any lingering doubts in Yishelem's review of the revised alliance agreement triggered by the Kundrati government following the Agency's scandal

Yishelem, Beiteynu - "No, Kundrati is not a puppet state", was the opening remark of Joseph Meaholit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in this morning's press conference from the MOFA's headquarters in Yishelem. "Although we have rectified our past discretions since the 80s, we have not done much in recognising our ally's growth and its extension of gravitas in the international arena since then, despite walking together in this since the early 53rd century". The Minister cited how the current Alliance Agreement displaced Kundrati in bilateral relations, heavily weighing in favour of Beiteynu in diplomacy, commerce and military, promising to remediate the situation by stating Yishelem's commitment into exploring, drafting and pursuing an amended agreement stemming from the details already negotiated. "It is the time, when both our countries show the loyalty and allegiance to each other that both deserve", he remarked multiple times.

The Medinat Department has confirmed that amongst the amended provisos, the Beiteynuese Government will seek to include Kundrati's military presence in Beiteynu for the purposes of further and enhanced cooperation and training, including but not limited to other supranational initiatives such as the recent joint Beiteynuese-Lourennais naval exercises, equal trade quotas and a special proviso that places Yishelem's recognition of Kundrati as the main consultant of centre and eastern Artanian Affairs, in a similar manner both in the Beiteynuese Framework of Diplomacy & Friendship as well as the Alliance Agreement with Lourenne (on the recognition of the Lourennais Government as the mediator in Seleyan affairs). Beiteynu's hope, with the amended format of the Alliance Agreement, is that Kundrati "stands more independent and more supported by our alliance in order to pursue strengthening our alliance in equal measure".
