Dorvish alliance heralds new era in international affairsFebruary 5336 - In concluding the preparations following the ratification of the Beiteynuese - Dorvish Alliance Agreement, the Head of the Medinat Department addressed journalists on a platform of "a new era of Artanian - Majatran cooperation", to further add to the tectonic alliance with EroncourtYishelem, Beiteynu - Following the ratification and inauguration of another tectonic alliance with Dorvik
last year to compliment an already impactful alliance now decades in the making with Lourenne, the Head of the Medinat Department commemorated the conclusion of preparations and logistical operations in coordination with several organisations of the Beiteynuese Government, including but not limited to the Olami Trade Association, the Kohav and the department's very own Office of Trade & Commerce. Echoing the Rosh HaMemshala's and Ramatkal's statements on the "alliance heralding a new era in international affairs", Noah Kadiyot, the Head of the Medinat Department extended upon the original remarks by expressing the Ministry of Foreign Affair's "eagerness" in extending the already centuries-old relations on the newly introduced and more "robust" alliance agreement. "Of the most vital parts of the new agreement are the solidification of commercial relations on a more explicit platform that also recognises our country's exports in shipping, travel and information technology", he stated, further adding "[...] these come in par with honouring both Beiteynu's trade network in Artania and Dorvik's noticeable partnership(s) with the Majatran Economic Association [MEA/MA], of which we are currently leading the discussions on a platform of equal representation and merit for Majatran countries".
The Head of the Medinat Department also briefly commented on the military provisos, citing how "joint partnerships" would definitely bring both nations's defence industries "closer" towards the advancement of more sophisticated weaponry in ensuring peace and stability, referencing the Equifund's recent partnerships with Lourennais companies as "evidence" of "successful and fruitful military agreements". He further commented that joint efforts in patrolling the Migrant's Pass and Dorvik's military presence in the
Tanus von Desidier Naval Installation in Kafuristan are "stellar examples" of a "common vision" in "the equally shared pursuit of stability in both continents", a sentiment that was shared by the Dorvish Government during negotiations.
When asked about the Dorvish media referencing the trilateral relations as the "das Triumvirat" (Triumvirate), he simply smirked in silence.
The Head of the Medinat Department also commented on the "strengthening of relations" amongst Beiteynu's network of partners and allies, remarking upon how Kundrati's rise has fuelled the circle of growth on both ends of the aisle. "We will most assuredly continue to honour our alliances with Kundrati, Istalia and Pontesi to an equal measure as the Lourennais and Dorvish agreements", he stated, "in the hopes that Yishelem can continue to assist its partners on a platform of diplomatic gravitas that they can directly tap into to extend their own spheres of prosperous growth", he concluded referencing the recent warm up of Endralonian-Kundrati relations as one of the Medinat Department's better judgements in deciding to deflect to Kasaema to foster relations with Endralon, further boosting Kundrati's gravitas in the process. In standing stronger on international affairs, the Medinat Department has also commented that it will seek to empower its "closer" partners at home, including Selucia, (Cildania), Kafuristan and Istalia, spanning the north-west-east arc of the Majatran Sea, also citing how the presence of the Beiteynuese Naval Command in the most prominent of Yishelem's allies, Kundrati and Istalia, has acted as a "amplifier" in strengthening their positions in their respective regions (Artanian Sea & Sea of Lost Souls) in regards to increased trade stemming from the momentum of the Beiteynuese shipping industry.
In response to the Zardic Federation's statements
last year, the Head of the Medinat Department dismissed the Zardic Director-General's comments on the trilateral relations as "absurd and obstrusive" when asked about the ongoing turmoils south of the border in Barmenistan, citing how the Theoktistido Administration's foreign policy of "taking action where action is necessary" sets a dangerous precedent that is "borderline threatening" to regional diplomacy. "There is not a single shred of evidence to back the Zardic Federation's claims that foreign powers have been working to anoint rulership over our continent, much less the Beiteynuese Government having ever shown an interest in continental hegemony for that matter", he stated, further adding, "[...] the MSCO, an organisation built on equal leadership, was reinvigorated by Beiteynu's efforts". Noah Kadiyot concluded his statement on the matter by commenting how Zardugal "is currently jeopardising regional stability itself with absurd remarks on the disruption of regional stability". The Medinat Department however confirmed that the Office of Majatran Affairs is still open to working closer with the Zardic Federation in warming up bilateral relations, should Zardugal accept to walk down such a path.
Insofar as the Trigunian situation is concerned as international pressure continues to mount on counts of human rights violations, the Medinat Department and the now minuscule diplomatic force of the Office of Keris Affairs both declined to comment, with rumours circulating in the highest ranks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of an ongoing lobbying effort by the Beiteynuese shipping industry, which continues to maintain a 5.3% marketshare in Neftkomp's petroleum distribution network. Sources have also attributed the pressure directly to Neftkomp, as it holds a number of shares in prominent Beiteynuese companies such as Hadayim and Tadraki Freight Shipping Inc., with both being relatively known for their pursuit of petroleum related interests since
5238.
He concluded his statements by remarking on how Yishelem echoes the position of the United Kingdom (Lourenne) on Fort William.
