Amshinov, Beiteynu - An up and comer in the technology and aviation space of the Equifund, Kadenite has been a close partner of aerospace manufacturer Sato since almost the company's inception and foundation 2.5 decades ago. Company executives confirmed this morning that the development of a reconnaissance satellite dubbed Ofeq (Luthorian: Horizon) specifically designed to be retrofitted on Sato's Shavit rocket currently in testing, has been in progress as part of the Beiteynuese Government's 2.3B LOD grant on the development of space hardware (as announced in 5374).
Although at first there was wide speculation on the source of the grant, it has been confirmed that the Beiteynuese Government's MOD's Department of Defence Contracts had issued 3 agreements to Sato, Black Beisa and Kadenite, which included the development of 1 missile, the Shavit rocket and the Ofeq satellite. Alas, rumours around Beiteynu attempting to "up its spy game" have not been unfounded, as the country's "boots on the ground" strategies are rapidly failing; with the Kundrati investigation 2 years ago and the recent decision by the Baltusian Government to withdraw from the diplomatic framework notwithstanding.
Further details have been deemed classified by the MOD itself.
