In Marea announces official candidates for its leadership

With the resignation of Spuria Vedrix, the new form to choose the Leader of In Marea-Civis Sinistram will be proven. Previously, before 4273, an internal body, the Council, decided the candidates and voted for their favourite. Now, to make it more democratic but not equal to the way the Secretary is chosen, candidates are chosen by the regional leaders, with at least 3 votes out of five of approval, and they are then proposed to the citizens to the militants (not to the affiliated, who are a higher number and elect the Secretary).

Selucia turns right
After 25 years of progressist Government, polls were right.



The second longest era of In Marea-Civis Sinistram government, the Laskaris Government, has ended after 25 years. In the last elections, Partis Imperialis, the Selucian center-right party, managed to get 253 seats, 2 more seats than the required for having a majority, therefore getting absolute majority to form a new cabinet.

Polls during the last legislature were predicting the fall of the left-wing Government, as a result of a continuous period of 25 years without interruption.

Surprisingly, the regions were In Marea-Civis Sinistram increased its number of seats were those where the Selucian fires hit harder, Insularia and Oriensos, which was interpreted as a general approval of its population to the treatment of the disaster.

I am happy because in the coming months, our nation will launch the treaty of "The Objectives of the Century", with the intention of uniting all the democratic nations of the world. Unite them all with ideals of freedom and fraternity among peoples, fighting together to achieve the goals written in that treaty by the end of the next century.

However, despite the fact that many nations expressed their initial interest in supporting this treaty, at the time of their support many of them back down, claiming motives of "meddling in national legislations", "freedom of each nation to decide on its inhabitants "," neoliberal "...

Of course, every nation must legislate in its territory. The problem is how it is done. Human rights, civil liberties, do not understand about borders.
