Government of Marestella criticizes the performance of the central government but defends national sovereigntyThe Praetrix of Marestella accuses the government of Malivia of using its citizens for their own benefit knowing that they were violating national laws__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Praetrix of Marestella, Claudia Severa, after her government meetingClaudia Severa, the Praetrix de Marestella who governs the region in a minority government after the 4538 elections, has had to intervene in the growing conflict between Selucia and Malivia after the action of state security forces in the regional territory against some citizens of Malivia who had illegally arrived on the coasts. The Praetrix, which until then had opted, in conjunction with her government team, to maintain a low profile and notify the invaders that they had a 24-hour deadline to leave the territory of Selucia in accordance with current legislation, has had now to step out after accusations of police brutality poured on Selucia against the citizens of Malivia.
The Praetrix, a jurist by profession, has adopted in her conference before the media after an urgent meeting with her government team a severe and imposing tone, blaming both the national government and Malivia.
"We all knew that the government of the far right was not going to be up to the point of treating situations delicately, since the government of Marestella we missed the fact that we hadn't been informed of the actions that were to be carried out in our territory and, as a result, we can act together in a more effective way. However, the central government decided that this was not necessary and opted to act unilaterally, leading us to the situation in which we are now we found, with a nation accusing us of police brutality "
thus began her lecture Mrs. Severa, who has claimed to have learned of the police intentions" at the same time as the rest of the citizens ".
"However," he continued,
"it is generally known that this was what was sought from the beginning, since the citizens of Malivia set foot in Selucia, they knew perfectly well what their intentions were. The way to act of this cult sent by the government of Malivia to our land is more than known: they come peacefully, they try to win the trust of the people, they try to provoke the reaction of a government that tries to defend national sovereignty, and later make use of the press as propaganda medium full of falsehoods and lies. It is totally false that, officially, there is a "Council of Ex-Selucians", so it is nothing more than a sect that will gather just a few dozen people. Citizens of Marestella, and the public opinion of the citizens of Selucia in general, is a frontal rejection of Malivia's attempt to neocolonize a nation that will neither be theirs nor have ever been theirs. The central government, with Axia Cinna at the head, already offered to help Malivia in its search for the Malivy Islands, but they are still determined to come to Selucia we do not know for what reasons.
But now we go with the legal issue: Everyone in Malivia knows perfectly well that they have vetoed their entry in Selucia. Neither organizations, nor companies nor citizens can come to our nation because that is what the government established after the infamous declaration of sovereignty of Malivia over Selucia. Therefore, these citizens who came to the shores of Selucia, have done so as invaders and settlers, knowing that they were breaking the laws of the nation in which they were setting their feet. And when one breaks the laws, there are consequences. That's where the central government should have contacted the Marestellan authorities to coordinate a joint action, but since it has not been done, that's it. The declaration of intentions of that sect paid by the Malivian government of "peaceful resistance" is nothing more than a "peaceful invasion" of a territory that does not belong to them and therefore, shielding themselves from the version that they were not doing anything when the police of Selucia acted is totally false. They were, in legal terms, committing an invasion of a sovereign nation. An invasion, that's for sure. However, obviously Malivia's propaganda is not interested in selling reality and only tells the part that benefits them.
Neither Marestella nor Selucia are going to remain silent in the face of the petty behavior of the Malivian government, which sends its citizens to commit serious crimes against our nation so that they can then blame us for protecting our citizens and complying with our own laws. If the government of Malivia wants to conquer our country, it will have to be done by force. Let them officially order a declaration of war, if they are so brave. But they should stop using their citizens as an easy target to try to
carry out a plan that is not held anywhere: neither from the legal point of view, nor from the historical, nor from the common sense"
"If the World Congress intends to give the reason to Malivia" the Praetrix has concluded "it will show that it is a corrupt organization that only defends the interests of the powerful, while turning a blind eye to the violation of the democratic laws of other nations and defends the neocolonialism. "
