Hard hit for IMCS in the national elections
The left-wing party gets its lowest amount of votes in the century, but loses less support than the other two main parties.

Image
Odysseus Scalas with one of his councelors after the election results.

Tonight's results have shaken the Selucian politics. The three main parties, the left-wing IMCS; and the right-wing PI and PMP have been overcome for a new party founded just three years before the elections: the Conservative Liberal Party.

The elections gave a total of 269 seats and 3 regional leaderships to this new party, while Pars Militum Petulantia came into second position getting 225 seats, losing 89, and getting two regional leaderships. In Marea-Civis Sinistram fell to the third position with 155 seats, losing 70 seats in its way, and the big loser of the elections was Partis Imperialis, with 101 seats and losing 110, more than a half of what it had previously.

Of course we can't be happy in any way with these results.
has announced the General Secretary of IMCS, Odysseus Scalas, a few hours after the results were announced.
The left has been relegated to the 3rd position in our parliament, and as only representants of it, we will have to do a deep research to find what has happened to allow this new party to become the first force in the Selucian Senate. We assume that probably it has been the fatigue of the citizens with the current politics and politicians, and that may be also a reason for the lowest participation in the century; and if this is proved, we will have to work harder to get our votes back again. This new party maybe has given new hope to the citizens, but after its cabinet coalition with Pars Militum Petulantia, it has shown its true self: another conservative party that has no aim to change the things in our nation, just to retain the privileges of the powerful and not to give a damn about the rest of Selucians.
The illusion for this new party has lasted short.

The worst news for In Marea-Civis Sinistram came from Insularia, where they lost the regional leadership and fell to the 3rd position in the regional parliament. The regional leader, Ares Zervas, has blamed the illusion for the new party for these results.

It is clear that the Conservative Liberal Party, despite its name, has presented itself as a progressist and secular new party, which may have actually taken away most of our votes in Insularia. I'm not worried about that fact, and these 4 years I'll be doing all that is in my hands to recover those lost votes, now that the CLP has shown its true face by accepting a coalition government with Pars Militum Petulantia.

But the shock did not end here, as the regional leaders of the party in Cor Patriae and Oriensos, and very active members in the national politics, Sepunia Mercator and Pristina Gallea, have both announced their resignations as Regional Leaders.

We have been both in the leadership of our respective regional branches of the party for more than 35 years. And now, after these results, it's clear than the citizens want new blood and new faces in our party to lead them. It has been an honor to be Praetors of both regions, but with all the sadness in our hearts, we hereby announce our resignations as Leaders of In Marea-Cor Patriae Forward and In Marea-Oriensos Sinistram. We will not retire from politics and continue in our seats as senators in the regional parliaments, but we will not be candidates to the leaderships of the regions for the next elections.

The party will choose their new regional leaderships in primaries soon, but the resignation of Mrs. Mercator and Mrs. Gallea is a bad sign for the party if they don't manage to find some new leaders that generate the same illusion as both women once used to do.

On the new budget, the General Secretary of the party has already stated that they won't support it, and has dedicated very harsh words to the Government.

It is foolish to pretend to spend more on military while there are many citizens who are going through terrible conditions because of the bad management of the central government. The current budget approved by Partis Imperialis and Pars Militum Petulantia already gives more money for the military than for Health and Social Services and for Education and Culture COMBINED. And now, with the new budget that is likely to be approved by the new ultra conservative and militarist government,
even more money will be taken away from Infrastructure, Health, Education, Science, Agriculture and Industry to be spent in Military, becoming almost 1/3 of the total spend of our nation's budget. That's just a total disaster that will lead our nation to the total ruin. But of course, an uncultured nation is what they want to keep winning elections in the nation. They want to ruin our healthcare system, our education system, our science system but please, the military has to be kept. Fools.

In Marea-Civis Sinistram announces a return to its roots
The left-wing party calls on its members to rebuild the party from within to what it was in its first days.

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

From left to right: Odysseus Scalas, Grosella Malica, Ares Zervas, Poshydon Taucratius, Petunia Laureata and Phydenis Seusa

Citizens have spoken clearly about what they want about In Marea-Civis Sinistram, the only surviving left-wing party in the Res Publica Seluciae. That is what its leader, Belona Bicansa, former Head of State of the nation, has told the press after the publication of a survive conducted by the party about its perception in the Selucians.

The survey was very clear and should serve as the base for the future movements of our party, if we want to survive in Selucia and recover from the last elections results, the worst in a while.
she has said to a room full of journalists.
When citizens were asked about the perception of our party's ideology, 16% of the people answered "center" or "center-right". How is this possible? The only reasons that may have lead them to think like that have to lay in some actions we may have done.
That's the first thing to change. We can't accept to be considered a center-right party. We can accept to form a government with the center-right if the circumstances require so, but in any case we can tolerate it. We are a proud left-wing party, and we have been working very hard in Selucia during many centuries to improve the lifes of everyone here.

The survey also shows that more than 15% of citizens that consider themselves as "center-left" or "left-wing" do not feel represented by the current political project of the aquamarine party.

Now is our time to think how to rebuild the party to attract those voters. We are not interested in attracting the conservative votes just to get more seats or to win elections, but if by attracting the progressist voters we can win, we have to think how to do so.
has declared the Secretary of the party, Odysseus Scalas, before entering the national building of the party in Insularia, where a meeting with the regional leaders had been scheduled to discuss the future of the party.

To lose the presidency of Insularia has been particularly painful for me
has mentioned Ares Zervas, former Praetor of the Selucian region
I'm working to take it back in the next elections, but we have to show the Selucians that our project is what the nation needs right now, and not more conservative governments that only spend their money in the military and take it from their health and education.

When talking with the five regional leaders, there seemed to be a common idea: the party can't continue the path it is following right now or otherwise it will end up as an irrelevant force in the Selucian Senate.

The debate celebrated in the headquarters of the party has been long and arduous. The 500 delegates of the party (100 from each region, including the regional leaders and the general secretary and general Leader) had to develop a new program for the party that would satisfy the different opinions within the party while also attracting all the undecided voters. To make the debate shorter and easier, each regional branch of the party could bring an already prepared program, with the central faction of the party allowed to do the same. The considered the most progressist branch of the party, represented by In Marea-Insularia Sinistram, has brought a program focused on social issues and environmental protections, with further restrictions for religion and military.

On the other hand, the most conservative program was offered by the Civis Sinistram Marestella, in terms of changing the party only in a few points and keeping the rest as it already is.

After more than 10 hours of debate, delegates have voted in a secret ballot with the political program of In Marea-Insularia Sinistram winning, with a few changes done in it. The results showed the refuse of most delegates of the party, including those from Marestella and Occidentria, to keep the actual line of actuations in the political scenario, instead going for the most rupturist and progressist way, that have won with a bit more than 50% of the votes.

In Marea-Insularia Sinistram: 257 votes
In Marea-Oriensos Sinistram: 106 votes
In Marea-Central Branch: 88 votes
In Marea-Cor Patriae Forward: 32 votes
In Marea-Occidentria Forward: 11 votes
Civis Sinistram Marestella: 6 votes

Odysseus Scalas has spoken after the announcement of the results:

Today our party starts a new period. It has been decided by more than 50% of the people present here from 6 possible projects, so there is no doubt about its legitimacy. From now on, the proposal of In Marea-Insularia Sinistram will guide the future actions of the party, in the hope that this will make Selucian citizens to trust us again and to recover from what has happened to our party. Our goal is not to attract the right voters. It is to convince the left voters. And we have to do everything we can from right now. This program means we are going back to the roots of our party, and we will do it proudly.

Among the new program of In Marea-Civis Sinistram it is included, apart from the points already mentioned:

-more involvement in international affairs
-more power to the Selucian regions, with referendums of independence not banned
-development of a full program of protection for the LGBT group and otherminorities
-encouragement of the use of renewable energies
-Insularian law of penalisation for salary gap between men and women applied to the whole nation.
-full separation of religion and state
-reduce the spending in military affairs and increase the spending in scientific research and education

In Marea-Civis Sinistram wins elections; fails short from absolute majority.
The party has announced negotiations with the right-wing parties.

Image

In Marea-Civis Sinistram, the only left-wing force in the Selucian Senate, has become after the last elections the most voted party, winning more tan 45% of the popular vote against its two rivals and government partners: Pars Militum Petulantia and the Conservative Liberal Party.

IMCS, that presented his new political program a few months ago, has received more than 24 million votes, enough to get 351 seats in the Senate. However, the absolute majority for this Selucian chamber is 376, so while it has become the longest party in the camera and has got its best result since 4290 in percentage and 4278 in number of votes, it has fallen to form a government cabinet on its own. Now the party has two alternatives: to stay in the opposition and work to get those 15 more seats needed for the next elections, or to negotiate a cabinet coalition with any of the two conservative parties. So this result has been bittersweet for its members.

The party, who received its worst result since 4251 in the past elections, has got 12 more million votes and 196 more seats in this election thanks to the change in its political program, and finding a way to explain it to the citizens.

We said it: if we kept going the way we were going, our party was going to dissapear. But we've managed to change, we've returned to our roots, and this is the result. People thought the left was dead in Selucia, but here we are: the left has united around our party, and has given us a whooping 46% of the popular vote. Of course a participation of nearly 70% is a bad result compared to other years, so now our goal is to convince those people that have stayed at home to go and vote for the next elections, hopefully for us, so we can change years of conservative politics.

The left wing party has won the national elections 6 times in the past 40 years (40% of the elections celebrated), but has only managed to form a government once out of those victories.

The ability of the right-wing forces in Selucia to collaborate between themselves and block us is highly impressive. We have to find a way to direct the government, as the horrible result of the CLP shows that they couldnt manage to deal with the popularity that brought them to the first position in the past elections.
In Insularia, they are almost a residual force, with just 10% of the vote.
has said the Praetor of Insularia, Ares Zervas, after recovering the regional governship that he lost in the past elections, by getting the first absolute majority (94 seats out of 150) in Insularia since the times of Zenon Gogolas in 4302, 40 years ago.

THe other region won by IMCS was Oriensos, also with absolute majority. Its new praetor Poshydon Taucratius, who replaced Pristina Gallea two years ago, has announced to follow the path of Insularia in terms of civil liberties and gender equality.

The party has also done well in Cor Patriae and Marestella, failing to reach the governship for 2 seats in Cor Patriae and 100,000 votes and one seat in Marestella, its best result in 40 years.

After these elections, the party has announced contacts with the other two parties in the hope of forming a government coalition, saying that "it is better to form a center coalition than to keep having a totally right wing government. We hope this can be understood and will lead to our absolute majority in four years".

BREAKING Selucian Supreme Court takes action against Government

The highest judicial institution has three vacant seats out of seven since 4330

Image
Magni Iudex of the Supreme Court, Aggeliki Bari

The highest judicial institution of Selucia, the Supremum Iudicatorium (Supreme Court) has announced today the activation of an exceptional measure contemplated in the regulation of the institution, which stablishes that:

If, in a period of more than ten years and with more than two vacant seats, the legislative branch of the nation has not been able to elect the members of the tribunal, the Supreme Court will be empowered to elect, by simple majority, the members that are considered more qualified to occupy the empty seats.

The current situation greatly exceedes the conditions, as there are currently three vacant seats, after the retirement of Mr. Acanthio Crito in 4320, Mr. Romanus Sigilis in 4325 and Mrs. Agda Cladia in 4330. The last date to take in consideration then is 4325, almost 20 years ago, so the initial conditions are fulfilled.

Now, with only 4 members in the Court, the youngest aged 92 (Mrs. Bari herself) and the oldest aged 124 (Mr. Sulpicio Quarto), the President of the Court has decided to step in.

We were hoping that the Government at least would do something with the Supreme Court, the highest judicial institution in our nation. But it seems like they are not even able to manage something like this. The Selucian Government, leaded by Pars Militum Petulantia first and the Conservative Liberal Party later, has shown a clear disinterest in this institution, the one that should make sure that the lives of our citizens are safe and that no one is above the others. They are clearly disrespecting democracy, and while we have been waiting for them to change. It is clear that it will not happen, so now it's the time to activate Article 100. The disrespect they have shown for an ancient and respectable institution like ours is an outrage.

The anger of its members also come since there has been even no single attempt to replace any of the retired members, which means no single suggestion has been made in 25 years to replace any of the retired judges.

The current composition of the chamber, made up by an all-four progressist body, was last created when former Caesar Senatus Orion Sideris, from In Marea-Civis Sinistram, proposed Mrs. Aggeliki Bari as a replacement for Ennia Domitia (the only conservative member to ever hold the presidency of the institution), being approved in the Senate by a 309-192 voting.

Pars Militum Petulantia and the Conservative Liberal Party have now lost a golden opportunity to place some conservative members in the Selucian Supreme Court, key to pass some laws, as the last conservative members to be in a seat of the Court were Ennia Domitia and Cassius Vestinius, both retired in 4295. Since then, the Camera has been continuously composed of an all-progressist team.

The activation of Article 100 needs the approval of at least 20% of the Selucian Senate (150 seats), something that is granted as the largest party in this chamber with 351 seats is In Marea-Civis Sinistram, the party that elected the four current members of the Judicial Camera.

In Marea-Civis Sinistram comes back to power

The party manages to create a government coalition with the conservatives
September 4344

In Marea-Civis Sinistram, the left-wing Selucian party that managed to win over 45% of the popular vote in the past elections, has passed a cabinet coalition with the Conservative Liberal Party of Selucia, which will mean the return of the party to the national institutions since 4322, when the Government of Cynthia Spirou was replaced by a conservative cabinet formed by Pars Militum Petulantia and Partis Imperialis, former partners of IMCS.

ImageImageImageImageImageImage
From left to right: Ministers from IM-CS of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Defence, Justice, Health and Education

Now, after a deal with the Conservative Liberal Party, that requested the ministries of Industry and Infrastructure, the former conservative coalition has ben overthrown.

Our priority was to remove the now former Government
has announced the new Caesar Senatus of Selucia, Odysseus Scalas, responding to the critics after making an agreement with a conservative party.
Arithmetics rule the world. Our party alone did not have enough seats to form a new government, and we have decided to a moderate center cabinet is still better than a right-wing government. Now in power, we will keep working so we can reach an even better result in the next elections, so we do not depend on other parties to form a government.

The new government has already announced its first moves:

Chrysa Contou, Minister of Foreign Affairs:
Our priority is to restablish the old ties that the past governments have broken. We have to be involved in the international development, and we have to pay attention to what is happening right now in Majatra and Terra.

Furia Lupis, Minister of Finance:

The Government will now focus on the negotiation of a new expenditure bill for our nation. For so long, we have wasted so much money in some places that overspent the money we have. Now it's the time to equilibrate it to improve the lives of Selucians. We will also review the taxes to see what we can do.

Syra Roscius, Minister of Defence:
Selucia has to improve its navy, its army in general, that is true. But it's also true that there is no need to overspent in this Ministry. We have to do the right contacts and we will have it solved. Selucia will also adopt a position of no beligerance in conflicts that involve two of its allies opposing each other, becoming a "RED-CROSS NATION"

Iris Loi, Minister of Justice:
We will guarantee more political independence to our courts, so cases like what has happened just a few months ago with the Supremum Iudicatorium are not repeated.

Zarek Manos, Minister of Health:
We will review the help given to some institutions classified as "beneficial for the state" that have broken many rules, including the "no discrimination against minorities" when it comes to healthcare service. We will also try to reverse the abortion law implemented by Pars Militum Petulantia.

Caia Andronicus, Minister of Education:

Public school will be secular and free, and we will work so no Selucian is left without a basic education. We will spend more than previous Governments have done.

Selucia to enter in the MASA project
The Selucian and the Istalian governments agree to form a deeper collaboration

Image
Insularian Praetor Ares Zervas (right) with the Selucian chief of the Selucian Space Agency

After years of political instability in Selucia and the whole continent of Majatra, the Selucian Space Agency has now developed an agreement with the MASA, Majatran Space Agency, and its Istalian counterpart. In a press conference in Auroria, the Selucian capital, the national agency has agreed to commit itself to becoming the second largest partner within the MASA, and therefore the second largest lender, with a first important investment in the construction of a launch site for the MASA.

The chief of the Selucian Space Agency, Dastis Papopulus has announced Insularia as the island with the highet qualities and facilities for future developments of the agency. Therefore, the Praetor of the region, Ares Zervas, was invited to give more details about the future installations.

Insularia is proud to collaborate in this project to help Majatra and Terra understand how the utter space works. Insularia will host the largest launch site on the continent as well as all the necessary rocket assembly and preparation facilities, and hopefully in the future, if the project works as scheduled, it will also host the facilities for maintenance and refueling. The zone that will be given to the MASA will provide facilities to build installations for both administrative and logistic infrastructures.

The geographical location of the Selucian archipielago within Majatra has made the nation a perfect place for launching rockets, which will mean a significant drop in costs that will lead to more money being spent in other aspects such as research and development.

Selucian authorities have announced the immediate start of the project in order to recover the delay accumulated compared to other countries that had already started their space programs for some years.

"Democracy is back!"
Thousands of Selucians fill the streets celebrating the imminent restauration of the Republic

Image

4322 was the last time Selucia held presidential elections, more than 25 years ago. There, Antoninus T.C. Gaius, from the conservative Pars Militum Petulantia, with the support of Partis Imperialis, defeated the incumbent Consul Belona Bicansa, from In Marea-Civis Sinistram, by winning 57.66% of the popular vote. One year before new presidential elections, the coalition government PMP-PI decided to restore the figure of the "Imperator": an hereditary Head of State that would not be chosen by the citizens. Since the very first moment, the only party of the opposition at that time, the republican party In Marea-Civis Sinistram opposed to it, but its number of seats was not enough to stop the law. In 4325, Antoninus T.C. Gaius was elected new Imperator of Selucia.

Now, 25 years after that event, and after the dissolution of Pars Militum Petulantia, the secretary of In Marea-Civis Sinistram Odysseus Scalas has announced the derogation of the Imperator Era, that is expected to pass in April 4347 by an absolute majority in the Senate.

The time of Antoninus Gaius as Imperator has ended. The figure that represents our nation as a whole should have an active role and should defend de interests of all the citizens. Mr. Gaius failed in both issues. He has been an awful Imperator, he has done nothing since he was elected, he has just seat in his chair and watched the world change while nothing happened to him. He has also clearly expressed his political views multiple times, and he has disrespected the name of our great nation.
Luckily for all of us, In Marea-Civis Sinistram has once again managed to bring republicanism back to Selucia. Because it is the fairest system. The people should have the power to decide who do they want to represent themselves, and the people should also have the power to remove that person if they think they have failed. No one should have the right to represent a nation just because they were born in a certain family. Luckily for Selucia, Antoninus Gaius was no long enough in his position to place a heir to the Selucian Head of State, and now the power is goingto be brought back to the Selucians. Thanks to the support of the Conservative Liberal Party,
the proposal of In Marea-Civis Sinistram to restore republicanism in Selucia will pass the Senate vote with a total majority and no opposition. That means people will be able to choose a new Head of State for the first time in 25 years no later than next elections. Democracy is back, long live the Selucian Republic!

Such a great change has, as usual, divided the Selucian society. The last time monarchy was abolished, also by In Marea-Civis Sinistram, was in 4274, nearly 70 years ago. Now, the investigations show a clear division between the youth and the elderly in Selucia. The youth support with an overwhelming 83% the restauration of the Republic, while only a 15% have a positive valoration of the Imperial family. On the other hand, a 63% of the elderly support the current royal family, and only 24% support the idea of the restablishment of the Selucian Republic.

It is common sense. Why someone that was elected more than 25 years ago should keep ruling us? And furthermore, why his children should rule us? I may be better prepared for that position, but as I was not born in the Imperial family, I can't occupy that place right now. A big clap for In Marea-Civis Sinistram. Imperators are something ffrom 400 years ago, not for the modern era.
has said Alona Pulivia, a 21-year political student.

An imperial family guarantees political independence and what's more, can represent the country without the influence of any political party, and can agree or disagree with any of them without taking risks. In Marea-Civis Sinistram is making a huge mistake and they'll regret it. Those leftists are just ruining this nation.
have been the words of Ocuno Primus Tegnus, a lawyer from Marestella.

Participation in the next presidential elections will be the key to see how much support does In Marea-Civis Sinistram gain from this Constitutional change. For the moment, the leader of the party and former Consul of Selucia (4318-4322), Belona Bicansa, has announced that she is "too old" for the position and that "someone else will replace her". We'll just have to wait and see.

In Marea elects her new leader ahead of new elections
The party aims to get back the Head of State

Image
Athena Gavrus, new IMCS Leader

After the overthrow of former Imperator of Selucia and the restauration of the elective Head of State done by In Marea-Civis Sinistram and Conservative Liberal Party last year, time has come for both parties to choose their candidates for the position that will act as Selucian representative in the highest international bodies. Elections will also serve, based on the participation, to see how well received is the new change in the Head of State, that was made an hereditary symbol by Pars Militum Petulantia and Partis Imperialis more than 20 years ago.

At the same time the Selucian constitution was changed after the absolute majority in the Senate approved the law, the former Leader of In Marea-Civis Sinistram, Belona Bicansa (Head of State from 4318 to 4322) resigned of her position citing her "old age" (she was 74 at the time). Now, after months of deliberation and the favourable vote of the General Secretary and all the Regional Leaders of the party, along with a consultation to the militants, a new Leader has been chosen, and is no other than Athena Gavrus, former Minister of Education and Culture from 4319 to 4322, after defeating her four rivals: former minister of Justice Thypon Pagonis and the newcomers Ylliado Pruniata, Vilona Calvea and Aspasio Cadmo, with a 67% of the militant vote. These have been the IMCS elections with the oldest average age of the candidates, with no candidate under the age of 55.

The new Leader, aged 60, becomes the 11th Leader of the leftist party and the 6th woman to do so. A doctor during most of her time, she went on to work on the university after the death of a group of children from anti-vaccines families, in order to educate more people for the future. She joined the party when she was 40 years old, but it wasn't until 4319 when she was asked to replace Armenia Arborius as Minister of Education, a position she accepted at the moment.

During her period as Minister, she received the highest valoration from the Selucian citizens (6,8) and increased the money spent in help destinated to families with low incomes for their education.

I'm truly happy for my victory, I can't deny it. I will do everything I can to show the Selucians that I'm the best option to lead the nation to a brighter future.
I'm very confident about my possibilities and I will not surrender until the results are shown.

In other declarations, when asked if she thinks her age could be a problem, she answered the she still sees herself very strong and with abilities, and that as long as she can think, she will fight for the best for all Selucians.

Among her proposals to do if she manages to win the Head of State, she included a visit to most Majatran nations, in order to strenghten ties that have been not "taken well care of", and she also plans to visit some foreign nations further than Majatra.

After Odysseus Scalas, now former Secretary of In Marea-Civis Sinistram and former Caesar of Selucia from 4344 to 4350 announced he was stepping down from both roles since the loss of almost 2/3 of the party seats in the first 4350 elections, the party quickly elected a new Secretary, that counted with the support of all the regional leaders and was elected with more than 60% of the militant vote against 4 other candidates.

That person is no other than Argos Loukas, admiral of the Selucian Navy and since today, new Caesar of Selucia. With only 32 years, he will lead the government of a nation with a one-party cabinet, after the second 4350 elections left In Marea-Civis Sinistram with no opposition in the Selucian Senate.

I'm so happy for that victory. It means a lot to me. Now, it is the time to work for the citizens, and it's the time to change the conservative politics we were not able to change in the past. Now we can do it. I'll also like to show how the military works to the civilians, but that is just an idea. My main priority will be to improve the life of everyone in this nation, and working with our Consul Mrs. Gavrus, I hope we can also soon build stronger relationships with foreign nations, as it is important to count with allies all around Terra.

Mr. Loukas is a descendant of Aelius Celer, former and longest Caesar of Selucia, and he retains some of his ferocity and ability to speak clear.

When I was reading about the things Aelius Celer did, and when I studied him at school, I was like "oh wow, I would love to be like him". And now here I am.
I don't know if I will last as much as he lasted, 27 years governing a nation seems a lot, but still, I'll be proud of what I'll do with my time now.

Selucian Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulates Deltaria and advises Istalia
The declarations come after the SU won Deltarian elections and Istalian Foreign Affairs Ministry declarations

"The victory of the SU is a victory for democracy". With these words the Selucian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrysa Contou, has spoken in favour of the result of the recent Deltarian elections, which gave the socialist party a wide victory over the Thallerist party that had lead the nation in the past years. For this reason, Mrs. Contou has congratulated the leaders of the progressist party and has expressed the will of the Selucian government in collaborating in more projects with the new Deltarian government in the future.

The fact that the Blue Thallerist Party allowed the celebration of fair and transparent elections is a good sign, we must admit. However, the result is what pleases us more. We've seen a little confrontation in the World Congress between both parties, and now it has been clearly seen which party the Deltarians liked the most. Now we hope that this new government works towards the future of its own people and to guarantee the best rights to everyone of them, and we hope we can work together in the future. Now we think it is time for Deltaria to rethink about the Majatran Alliance and its future with the other Majatran nations.

However, the Selucian Minister has not only had words for the Deltarian issue, as she has also spoken about the recent declarations of the Istalian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Although Selucia and Istalia has been long-time friends, the turn to the right of its government has colded the relationship between both nations, and no official state visit has been celebrated between both nations since more than 50 years ago.

To claim distaste for the SU as "they are afraid that free market principles will be undermined once again by some Socialist party breaking bad and turning hardcore Metzist" is just unlucky. As a member of the Majatran Alliance, Selucia has to speak against this statement. The current Selucian government is formed by In Marea-Civis Sinistram, a party that has leaded Selucia during most of the last 3 centuries. And it is a socialist party. And it has not ruined anything. In fact, we have brought the biggest periods of prosperity to our nation. There are no evidence on the Deltarian Government about a possible "Metzitation", but what is sure is that it should not be rejected any socialist idea just because it can turn into "other things", because by this reasoning, we can also refuse any liberal politics just to avoid any populism. Also, to claim that "the Czar should be maintained in order to ensure stability in the Deltarian Empire" doesn't help. It is a matter of the own nation to decide whether they want to keep a monarchist system or turn into a republic. And both options will be valid. But the Majatran Alliance should not involve itself in these matters, or we may put in danger the whole structure. We know for sure the Istalian government has its best intentions, but as long time friends, we think is our duty to speak up in this matter.
