The Greater Vanuku ambition
"We are all Jelbics and we can not let our culture die."

Image
The King's speech in the Holy Church of St. Lawrence addressed His Majesty's issues regarding culture and religion.

October 4274 - Yesterday the King, Prefect, and high-ranking government officials met with the delegation of Sultan Jens of Barmenia. This marked a new era for the Banmek-Sntazed monarch, who previously has always maintained the position of distancing himself from the Thaller family. At times the King, like his father, even spoke openly negative about the Dundorfian 'opportunists'. Yet with changing times come changing opinions and the Sultan received a warm and courteous welcome in the capital. The public photo session was held short as to keep as much time as possible for political talks. For several hours the two monarchs and their trusted ministers were hidden away in one of the meeting rooms in the parliament. After the meeting a friendly goodbye was given and the King saw his Barmenian counterpart off at the airport. Spokesperson Aldrkai Vrn stated the talks went "very well" and that several agreements had been made and that an announcement on these informal agreements would soon follow.

Today was the day for that announcement as all across the nation the King's speech in the Holy Church of St. Lawrence was broadcast. The church, constructed in the year 4031 to honour former monarch and now deitified Saint Lawrns-Wrntukai (Lawrence in Luthorian, Laŭrenco in Augustan), holds a special place in the hearts of the Banmek-Sntazed's. The King invited prominent nobles, politicians, philantropists, businessmen and other noteworthy individuals to the church to attend an "important announcement regarding the future of our nation". In the speech the King addressed the decline of the Jelbic culture and how many years ago the namesake of the church they stood in once united all Jelbics under one banner. The King spoke of religious strife, cultural negligence and a troubled continent. In his speech he specifically addressed Sultan Jens of Barmenia, calling upon him to safeguard the Hosians within his nation as the King considers them his kin. "A shared god forges a bond between men," the King said, before continuing about the decline of the Jelbic culture, "we are all Jelbics and we can not let our culture die, we have to fight to preserve our identity and that is why the Prefect has enacted the Wrnukaék Culture Act, making Wrnukaék the prime culture and language and identity of our nation". The King condemned the "dangerous ideology" of Metzism and called for Jelbania "to open their eyes, see the light and return to their Jelbic roots", stating that if they do not they are "surely doomed under the decay caused by the cultural rot of Metzism". Last but not least the King had timid but cold words for the Istalians stating that once more "Vanuku can only disapprove of the course of Istalia, their moral agenda is only their own yet the entire world must follow it according to their logic".

The King ended the speech with declaring that the old times should be restored. "We must look back to the times of my ancestor St. Lawrence and realize this should be our unified goal. I look upon Old Barmenia and see they once had the Greater Barmenia ambition, I say let us make a Greater Vanuku ambition! Let us unite the last true Jelbics under one cultural banner, let us unite ourselves against the threats of imperialism, Metzism and anti-Jelbicism! Let the Jelbic Empire be restored, for prosperity, progress and balance in Majatra."

Construction of first Támnr-class carrier commences
Shipyard Havendam hoping to finish first carrier in 4285.

Image
A first segment of the hull being transported to the assembly yard, the carrier is constructed piece by piece and then assembled.

November 4247 - Dnkai Jeztrisrmo, the CEO of Shipyard Havendam, was proud to announce today that the first segment of the new Támnr-class aircraft carrier Támnr II was moved from the welding factory to the assembly yard today. This segment will be the first of five, after which all parts will be assembled together and the finishing parts will be done. Jeztrisrmo has put the current estimation of the Támnr II to be finished at Q2 4285 but many experts call his estimations "very optimistic". Though Jeztrisrmo is confident the target can be reached if "current government funding is maintained".

The Támnr II, when finished and operational, will be the new flagship of the Vanukean navy and the centre piece of the First Fleet. The Ministry of Defence also stated they are hoping to outfit the Támnr II with new naval fighter jets in 4290, five years after her planned deployment. This new jet will be based on an existing Trigunian model that has only been produced in very limited numbers, yet analysts and strategists of the Armed Forces that work in coherence with the Minister of Defence have stated that this jet has untapped potential. As with the Támnr-class the Ministry is hoping to take a proven design and improve it. It is yet unknown if the Trigunians are willing to license their design but inside sources confirm talks are underway to procure a license from the Trigunians for the Ti-33 (Su-33).

Vanuku to ratify Union of the Jelbic Peoples
The bonding of Barmenia and Vanuku first step towards the Greater Vanuku ambition.

Image
A painting made by Pan-Jelbicist painter Hrlkai Eksandrsrmo. The Pan-Jelbicist movement is gaining traction throughout the Kingdom.

June 4275 - The end result of the talks between the Sultan of Barmenia and King Juhn are becoming visible with the drafting of the Union of the Jelbic Peoples. The ancient union has been restored, albeit with altered regulations, to unite the Jelbics across Majatra once more. In the revised version Vanuku has received five votes and Barmenia four, whereas in the old times Vanuku only had three votes. Absent from the revised treaty is the nation of Deltaria, who still has sanctions on Vanuku and is therefore likely excluded from the new Pan-Jelbicist movement. The government stated they were "very pleased" with the end result and that this would be "the first step towards Jelbic unity on our continent". It is expected that the Prefect will push for more Jelbic integration after the King has been elected as the Protector. As of now Jelbania is a Metzist state but the Prefect has expressed his desire to see Jelbania "embrace liberty". For generations the monarchs of the Banmek-Sntazed dynasty have claimed to be Protector of the Jelbic People. In recent history the most famous Protectors were Khagan and Saint Lawrns-Wrntukai and the King Wrntukai IV who won, in his role as Crown Prince, an ancient ritual and game, defeating the Jelbic Khan. Now however it seems that King Juhn VIII will receive the title without such a trial, the nations instead focusing on cooperating towards the greater good. Pundits have already critiqued the rather controversial article 4.2, which calls for the Protector to "counter all challenges" to Jelbicism.

Democracy Index "inherently flawed" according to Prefect
"Shi Yawen Institute has used biased variables and has published a report of errors."

Image
Prefect Count Hzíakai Kárak had an open interview about the Democracy Index of 4272, stating he disagrees with the result.

June 4275 - The storm has mostly blown over yet Prefect Kárak has only now given an interview about the rather negative Democracy Index of 4272. The index was not well received in close ally Barmenia where the document was subsequently banned, with the government stating the index was "inherently biased against Jelbics" after the last three bastions of Jelbicism (Barmenia, Jelbania and Vanuku) all received a low score. The government in Vanuku has not gone as far, with the liberty of the press still being quite open even though Vanuku's score was lower than Barmenia. "The system they use is inherently flawed," said the Prefect, "the Shi Yawen Institute has used biased variables and had published a report of errors that form no coherent and logical report, as if one can judge democracy by general laws and regulations". The Prefect put the attention towards the last fifty years in Vanuku. "The Greens only disbanded recently but before that like two decades ago we had five active political parties in Vanuku. Left, right, centre, we had them all. And the possibility to start a party and partake in democratic elections is still there, yet nobody has taken it upon themselves because we enjoy such stability and balance within the nation. People are content, they do not desire a change of pace with the reforms the cabinet has pushed through". According to the Count the measurement of certain laws is "ridiculous" and he pressed hard on the fact that Vanuku is one of the most prosperous nations with an immensely high GDI, GDP and happiness. Vanuku is free, yet it seems the Shi Yawen Institute is unable to understand cultural differences. For Jelbics, Vanuku is a blessed home, a home foreign interventionists should not insult.

Second Fleet intercepts Badaran vessel
"Acts of aggression not tolerated within the Majatran Sea"

Image
Two frigates of the Second Fleet on their way to intercept the BRS Sharik within the "Vanukean domain" of the Majatran Sea.

June 4277 - The rapid response rate of the Kingdom of Vanuku has returned when it comes to naval happenings. The Minister of Defence, Admiral Trmékez, has ordered the Second Fleet to intercept the Badaran medium transport vessel BRS Sharik. According to the Minister these "acts of aggression are not tolerated within the Majatran Sea by the sovereign Kingdom of Vanuku". The Second Fleet consists mostly of modern frigates and destroyers, a potent yet light fleet set up to intercept naval forces. The Second Fleet, under the command of Rear Admiral Hkinor Wrntukaisrmo, has explicit orders to intercept and escort the Badaran vessel. According to the Ministry of Defence a constant broadcast will be sent towards the Sharik stating that the vessel should return home lest it provokes the might of the Vanukean navy. The government however explicitly stated they are seeking a peaceful resolution in regards to these increased tensions.

Dorvish xenophobia and Indralan republicanism
Minister of Foreign Affairs Duke van Zanten-Wiel skeptical about former allies.

Image
Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Duke van Zanten-Wiel, in an interview on state television giving his view on Vanuku's "ancient allies".

April 4278 - The government of Vanuku, and the Jelbic Union in a whole, was inherently unhappy with the extremely xenophobic statements made by the Dorvish ambassador in the Security Council. The Dorvish ambassador Isabella Kanst stated that Jelbics are parasites living of "Majatra's true people". Seeing as the ambassador was defending the Deltarians it seems that she considers the Deltarians the "true people of Majatra". The Minister of Foreign Affairs was absolutely apalled by the statement calling it "extremely xenophobic, racist, bigoted and narrow-minded," and he called for the Dorvish state to either fire the ambassador or to retract the statement. "Majatra is a continent of many cultures that are all 'Majatra's true people' in my eyes, be that the Yeudi's, the Majatrans, the Jelbics, the Augustans, the Cildanians, the Selucians or even the Deltarians and countless others I am skipping over right now, the matter of fact is we have all shared this continent for thousands of years and no culture stands wholly above the other". The Duke proclaimed that the King, as Protector of the Jelbic Peoples, condemned the statement. Even though technically Vanuku has decided not to recognize the Security Council they reverted this decision for one simple statement: to call upon the other Security Council voters to support proposal R45 as put forward by ambassador Wuhan of Indrala.

The Duke also said he was "immensely pleased" with the Indralan support against ethnic cleansing, forced exodus and genocide. "The Jelbic peoples are proud to recognize Indrala as an ancient ally, we hope to rekindle that old tie, even though the Indralan Empire is gone we do believe in cooperation and mutual understanding," but the government was not all that positive about the rush of republicanism in Indrala. "To be honest, it is a shame Indrala is a republic. The old Empire had a democracy with the Emperor as a good and competent consitutional figurehead. That ancient tradition is gone, the old Emperor's relatives living either in Vanuku or in modest style in Indrala. Monarchism must make its way back to the world stage". For Dorvik the Duke had even colder words. "Once the Dorvish colonized the Vanukean coast and we lived in harmony, Dorvish bred with Wrnukaék, the old Vanukeans purchased the colonial holdings and the cultural bond was strong, for centuries we were allies and now the Dorvish are xenophobic against our peoples. Unforgiving, unacceptable. The Kingdom of Vanuku is considering severe sactions against both Deltaria and Dorvik for their disgusting beliefs."

Famous Jelbic writer Jlekai Idjoz honoured in Vanuku
Well-known poet and writer from the Suadmjekestijogad (Jelbic Renaissance).

Image
Jlekai Idjoz in Vrkzel, the native Jelbanian moved to Vanuku in 3780 and lived there until his death.

April 4278 - The famous Idjoz, perhaps the most well-known poet and writer from the Jelbic Renaissance, has been given a day of celebration within the Kingdom of Vanuku. Jlekai Idjoz was born in Baofluz in 3761, moving to the Principality of Vanuku in 3780 three years after the establishment of the Jelbic Empire in 3777. The young and ambitious poet then lived in Vrkzel for several years before trekking through the harsh Vanukean, Jelbanian and Barmenian deserts and meeting traditional Jelbics that still lived in a way adhering to the 'old ways'. Inspired by these many cultures and the nationalism of the Jelbic Empire Idjoz wrote countless of poems, songs and books about pan-Jelbicism and Jelbic culture. His romans are still widely read and considered amongst the finest literature in the modern Jelbic states. Perhaps his most sung song is also his most unknown one, the Vanukean anthem Ay! Wrnuke! Ay! Wrnuke! was composed by him as a nationalistic Wrnukaék poem before being fit to an old classical piece forming the now well-known anthem. Jlekai Idjoz died on April 16 3840 in Nachten, the day of his death is now the day of cultural celebration of literature and poetry in Vanuku with special emphasis on the well-known author.

Prefect approves more liberal religious laws
Centuries old ban on Felinism lifted, new religion finds followers.

Image
A Felinist religious centre in Wiel, previously a "cat café" to circumvent ban on Felinism.

April 4278 - As part of the growing friendship and cooperation between Barmenia and Vanuku the government has decided to abolish an ancient law. In the times of the Banded States of Vanuku a law was implemented that outlawed public practicing of Felinism, those caught adhering the faith publically were usually deported to a Felinist friendly state like Barmenia or Selucia. People circumvented this ban by gathering in cat cafés, places with literature, coffee, tea and cats. Here they would discuss theology and enjoy the company of their holy furry friends. For centuries Felinism was not even registered in the census of Vanuku. But as time grows and Jelbicism intensifies the government has now decreed that Felinism is a legal and recognized religion in Vanuku and will no longer be persecuted like a cult. This religious progressive attitude has also given way for the faith of the self-proclaimed Messiah Ismail Rabban. A group of fifty or so people now regularly gather in the capital in a small community centre to read the proclamations of Rabban. So far the government has not acted, even though by law Rabban's faith would be considered a cult.

King Juhn VIII dead after heavy stroke
Vanukean monarch suffered a stroke at 18:11 today.

Image
The St. Martin's hospital in Wiel, where His Majesty passed away at 19:58.

November 4286 - Tragedy has struck the royal family today as it was just released that His Majesty, King Juhn VIII, has passed away at the age of 74. The King, who throughout his life suffered from blood pressure issues, suffered a stroke while eating dinner with the Queen and the Archduke Pawl. Sources have stated the King was under big pressure the last few months, devoting much of his time to the Union of the Jelbic Peoples. The King was known as a very devoted monarch, believing in his duty to care for "his children" as he would often call the population of Vanuku. He was often seen all across the nation and sometimes caused uproar when ignoring the semi-constitutional basis of the Vanukean consitution. Yet for his lack of adhering to rules and regulations the King was a philantropist at heart and always amongst the people. His son, the Archduke of Banstill Pawl, will inherit his throne. Contrary to his father the Archduke is a man never seen in public and has been called eccentric by inside sources. Nonetheless King Juhn VIII always maintained him as his heir, even if the Vanukean monarchs have the option to choose the candidate within their family they prefer. As with everything, the King was a loving man to his family.

HVMS Támnr II launched after one year delay
Two more carriers to follow as the first Támnr-class vessel has been hosianized.

Image
The HVMS Támnr II takes to the waters for her first "trip" under the authority of the Vanukean navy.

November 4286 - The first new supercarrier from the newly developed Támnr-class was expected to be finished in November 4285. But even at the time of the announcement ten years ago experts were already calling this deadline very ambitious. The most cynical pundits stated the first supercarrier would be finished in 4290. This however has not been the case, as the professionals at the Shipyard Havendam have worked round the clock to finish the HVMS Támnr II as fast as they could. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, dr. Jeztri Salyzr, called the one year delay "unfortunate but within the realms of what is acceptable". With the hosianization of the Támnr II the original Támnr has been retired. The legendary carrier will be put up as a museum ship in Havendam. The new Támnr-class is a more advanced design of the Trigunian designed HVMS Támnr. The old Támnr was once a cooperative project between Trigunia, Dorvik and Vanuku. Now the Vanukeans have taken the basic Támnr design back to the drawing board. The hull structure is more advanced and countless of upgrades have been done all across the ship with more advanced radar, electronics and better living quarters for the crew. Further modernization has also reduced the size of the crew, opening up more manpower for other departments within the navy. The other vessels are projected to be finished in 4295 and 4305 according to the Shipyard Havendam, who are once more using nine years each for every vessel. Though realistically experts are expecting the second vessel, the HVMS Kustalkai Lawrns-Wrntukai, to be finished around 4297. The third and last new supercarrier, unconfirmed as being named the HVMS Bagtyr, might even be finished around 4310 when listening to conservative estimates.

Cabinet critical of anti-Hosian message by Twin Sultans, "Apostle" Miranda Qardajaré roams freely in Wiel
"We unilaterally condemn the actions of the Apostolic Army yet we also condemn the anti-Hosian message being spread by our Barmenistani allies"

November 4286 - The Prefect Kárak has issued a statement regarding developments in Barmenistan. The elder statesman has condemned both sides of the conflict, stating that the terrorism of the Apostolic Army was unacceptable but that the calls for Hosian persecution are also unaccaptable. "The Twin Sultans are the proudest allies of our nation, they are the kin of our King, we share the Union as a unified Jelbic sphere. Yet Vanuku is split between Hosianism and Ahmadism and the anti-Hosian message that is growing stronger in Barmenistan is one we find worrying." The Count Kárak denied allegations that the government of Vanuku, through the State Security Agency, has been sponsoring the revival of the Apostolic Army. Damning evidence was presented earlier this week yet the Count continues to deny any involvement and that if the SSA was involved "they did so without consent of the ruling cabinet". The Prefect did pledge to demand an investigation but fully believed in the "innocence of the protectors of our Kingdom".

The Prefect also refused to comment on the fact that one of "Apostles" of the Ruhi faith is roaming freely around the Kingdom's capital. The Barmenistani citizen Miranda Qardajaré has been spotted several times in Wiel and has been hosting religious sessions of the Ruhi faith in religious centres throughout the capital. The Ruhi faith, once founded by their "Messiah" Ismail Rabban, has slowly been growing in Vanuku. The Kingdom is a nation historically split between different religions and the ancient battle between Ahmadism, Hosianism and Tanhrism has left many scars. It is believed the Ruhi followers in Vanuku now tally up to a total of 5,000. The rise of the Ruhi faith within Vanuku is very controversial since cults are banned by law. It is unknown why the government is not acting against the cult but ulterior motives are expected.

Archduke Pawl not to be King Pawl but King Temrkai
Eccentric heir introduces a new habit for Vanukean monarchs: regnal names.

Image
A painting of King Temrkai in his traditionalist regal attire, with his coronation he has also been elected Protector of the Jelbic Peoples.

November 4286 - As per the wishes of his father Archduke Pawl has been crowned King of Vanuku. The eccentric Archduke is known in inside circles as a very authoritarian, reactionary and religious man. He also has a reputation for being a fierce proponent of Jelbic traditionalism and even as a young boy idolized Temrkai Khan and his ancestor St. Lawrns-Wrntukai. The Archduke was once named after the first Vanukean monarch to be granted the imperial honour to call himself a king, the legendary King Pawl. Even though his ancestor was a revered Vanukean King the new King still chose to adopt the name Temrkai. The new King is perhaps most widely known for refusing to have his picture taken or visit places. The King believes in his divinity, that the Lord above himself made him the new King and that he should have an aura of mystery around him. Therefore there are no pictures of the 40 year old King after his 17th birthday. The King has declared, through a decree, that he will give a speech on the radio for all of Vanuku to hear in the next few weeks to outline his own plans for the Kingdom.

The King's decree: restore the Khaganate
Temrkai Konz skeptical of Jelbanian moves, takes threatening stance.

Image
A statue of King Temrkai in Augustan garb in the capital of Wiel, implying his ambitions go further than the Khaganate.

April 4287 - The King has, as promised, brought out a decree with his plans for the nation. His first announcement was that he will advice the parliament to retain Count Kárak as the Prefect but that some ministers will get replaced. The most striking announcement from the "King's decree" was the fact the monarch wishes to restore the Khaganate. To most this is not all too surprising, seeing how the King hero worships his ancestor St. Lawrns-Wrntukai and named himself after the very first Khagan, the great Temrkai Khan. The King stated that becoming the Khagan "is Our divine duty" and that his ancestor St. Lawrns-Wrntukai "was made the successor of the Great Temrkai in a similar situation". The King has called upon all member states to acknowledge him as the Khagan, especially his nephews the Twin Sultans.

Last but not least it is reported that the King was absolutely outraged by the news from Jelbania, where the Khan has slighted the King by not marrying his niece but an exiled Deltarian Jelbic girl. The further reports of the continued delays of the government of Jelbania to sign the treaty of the Jelbic Union reportedly made the tirade of the King even worse. At one point the King is said to have proclaimed they "might as well nuke that whoremongering traitor back to oblivion". The Jelbanian state is arguing they deserve a more lenient treaty, not one that binds them as heavily as the current one does. The Vanukeans and Barmenians seem very intent on keeping the current structure. The King and his cabinet however had one strong statement for the Khan; "the government of the Kingdom of Vanuku strongly insists that the government of the Khanate of Jelbania remains loyal to pledges made previously". Minister of Defence Admiral Trmékez alluded to military action if the Jelbanians refuse to bend. It has been reported that at least a Royal Guard division has been relocated to the South Eastern border and that the HVMS Támnr II, now freshly in service, is steaming away from her homeport of Havendam.

"Apostle" Miranda Qardajaré arrested after "anti-monarchist speech"
Miss Qardajaré supposedly called for King Temrkai to "show himself to his equals".

Image
The Royal Police arresting "Apostle" Qardajaré at a local shopping mall after she held a public sermon session on her Ruhi faith, four other arrests were made.

April 3292 - For over six years the "Apostle" Miranda Qardajaré of the new Ruhi faith has been freely roaming across the Kingdom of Vanuku. The government never stopped miss Qardajaré in her holy mission. Today however the Royal Police intervened in large force when the "Apostle" held a public sermon in front of a mall in the city department of Hydwashok. Here she gave her usual talk of the Ruhi faith, trying to convince people it is a more peaceful and holy alternative to Hosianism and Ahmadism, the two primary religions in Vanuku. Two police officers patrolling the mall reported they saw the sermon but did not act, as miss Qardajaré was not spreading hateful words, rousing up the public or forcefully attempting to convert people. This approach by the Royal Police is part of the tolerance act for religions, that almost a decade ago lifted the ban on Felinism. Harmless cults, as the Ruhi faith, are not persecuted actively. However, the sermon took a turn for the worse when the "Apostle" started proclaiming that all men are equal and that the King was giving the wrong example. Allegedly she spoke sentences akin to "the King is one amongst equals, he is not divine, he is not above us, he is a man like any of us, he should stop hiding in his castle and show himself to us," and upon hearing this the police officer called in for back up as an elder man, later identified as veteran retired Major Erich Wilhelmsrko, reacted absolutely outraged at this statement. The retired Major is a fierce monarchist he stated that his "ancestors proudly served the Prince's and Kings!" and that "they are surely divine". The man insisted police acted and after a small back up of officers arrived the sermon was halted. The "Apostle" was apprehended and four Ruhi followers who tried to peacefully halt the Royal Police from doing their job were also arrested for obstructing police work. It is currently unknown what will happen to miss Qardajaré but she will most likely stand trial for her anti-monarchist sentiments and cultist activities.

Large exercise held in Woestenij desert
Vanukean Land Forces honing their desert warfare skills

Image

May 3292 - The Chief of the Land Forces, General Heijtri Merlkaisrmo, was pleased to announce the start of the largest field exercise in Vanuku of the last fifty years. The exercise, dubbed Operation Hardship, is focused on pushing the soldiers of the Land Forces to the absolute limits in natural conditions. Six infantry divisions, two mechanized divisions, the 1st Armoured and a division of Royal Marines have all been deployed in the Woestenij desert to conduct war games and exercises. The first two weeks the units are expected to march, drill and survive in the unforgiving conditions of Vanuku's harshest desert. After that the war games will begin, where four infantry and two mechanized divisions are instructed to overrun and destroy the elite 1st Armoured, the Royal Marines and a regular infantry division. The Land Forces are cooperating with the Naval Forces, who have kindly lent one division of Royal Marines for this massive exercise. The marines are already an elite fighting force but Admiral Mdrakai stated that "there can never be enough training to keep our forces ready".

Government reforms under pressure of King Temrkai
Cabinet replaced, Prefect resigns, Vanuku re-enters World Congress.

Image
Former Prefect Count Hzíakai Kárak after leaving the royal palace following his forced resignation from the cabinet.

May 3292 - The Kingdom of Vanuku has, under pressure of King Temrkai, enacted a big government reform. Count Kárak resigned from the office of Prefect but several sources indicate he was forced to do so by the King. The aging Count, now 79, was apparently too "stubborn and resistant to change". While the older generations are often more conservative several pundits believe the Count was resisting a drift to absolutism within the semi-constitutional monarchy that is Vanuku. Either way, the pressure of the King has worked and a new cabinet will be installed. The new Prefect is Daníl Salyzr, a member of the illustrious political Salyzr dynasty and a self-made multi-millionaire. The man carries no noble blood but the Salyzr name is so well known across Vanuku that their presence often carries much weight even amongst the 'old blood'. Salyzr is a keen businessman, a devout Hosian and a true-blooded monarchism according to his own website. The new Minister of Defence, General Eksandr Anzlék, has pledged to continue the plans of his predecessor but has also hinted at improving the armoured divisions of the Land Forces, his "home" in the Armed Forces of Vanuku. The only Minister that survived the old cabinet is Prince Jebr Banmek-Sntazed, the uncle of the King, has was made Minister of Foreign Affairs. A cousin of the King, Prince Juhn, has also entered the cabinet in the junior position of Minister of Trade. With King Temrkai increasing his grip on the nation he has also decreed that Vanuku will once more become active in the World Congress. The newly assigned ambassador already made a fiery speech, condemning most of the participants for their imperialism and interventionism. He also called out the hypocrisy of the Congress and retorted against some of the vile statements that were made. Surprisingly he also condemned the Jelbanian failed invasion of Deltaria, calling it a foolish endeavour.
