Collective Leadership Or Bust!
January 7, 4921
Cde. Psote Tepio the brotherly leader of the Supreme Revolutionary Council has hailed a "new, era of collective leadership" at the end of the Second Congress of the Coburan Revolutionary Socialist Congress. Cde. Tepio gracefully ceded the position of First Secretary to Saif al-Ahmad who won the vote with 321 delegates picking him over his predecessor who garnered 277 votes.
Cde. Tepio will remain Chairman of the Revolutionary Council while Cde. Al-Ahmad will run the revolutionary party. Socialists everywhere celebrate this elegant solution and many praise Second Secretary Tiye Tasemes who is viewed as having brokered this compromise. She was unanimously re-elected as the party's Second Secretary and praised for her "masterful handling of the nation's diplpmacy". The party rejoiced and voted to condemn the rape of Socialist Seko by imperialist Indrala hoping that Cobura's small naval force attached to the Deltarian carrier will help end the Dovani crisis.
