National Conservative Party Set to Return

Image
Kyuma Naruhito, Leader of the New NCP & Prospective President

SANGON, Shrin Kali -- After the short rule of Ryan Malagar, what is now known as the Malagar Era, came the Reformed Republic of the "Liberalist Era". Much of Malagar's work was put in reverse and the Presidency became a flip-flop between socialists and faux-nationalists. The Tukarese language was discouraged, and English was the standard. Now, after twenty-five years, the party of Malagar, the National Conservative Party, is making its rise back into politics. The "New NCP" came in March 2813, and it was back in parliament later that year. The party is now in place to take back its lost Presidency, and in the past year, their only rival, the Solidarity Action Party, has become largely inactive.

Though, before the National Conservatives even take back the country, they may completely reform it with their currently unopposed votes in the National Congress. Teaming up with the newly formed royal House of Aynako, the NCP is looking to establish the first ever monarchy in Tukarali. The system is being based largely upon those in Luthori and Hulstria, with a royal representative figure elected by the people. Its expected that this summer, Tukarali will come under the reign of Grand Queen Gloria I. Monarchy isn't the only reform coming from the NCP this summer either. They also plan on promoting the Mu-Tze language to an official level, due to its increase of use during the Liberalist Era. Tukarese is remaining national, but only secondary to the increasingly dominant Mu-Tze. Finally, English will also remain official as nearly all Tukarese citizens know English as a second language.

Business News: Tukarese Industrial Recovery

Image

SANGON, Shrin Kali -- The Tukarese industry and businesses are hopeful with the return of the National Conservative Party and the potential end to over twenty years of fierce regulation and penalization by socialist parties. The Sangon Stock Exchange still is doing poorly, though economists predict that once the NCP follows through on its promises to end regulation, the SSE could very well begin making gains to the levels saw in the 2780s under Malagar.

Son of NCP leader, Kyuma Haruki, founded last year what has quickly become Tukarali's largest corporation. Sangon economist Lao Sie stated, "After Malagar's loss of power, many companies couldn't handle the unfriendly market, leaving Tukarali back at the beginning with an economy of farms and fishes. Its not surprising that Kyuma Industries already is the largest corporation, its one of the few currently." There are rumors in Sangon that if economic improvement continues, Kyuma Industries may end up with a competitor from Hulstria, Espersen Group. Espersen currently has no operations outside of Greater Hulstria, but has recently shown interest in expanding to the very open and expanding Tukarese market.

Elections Create Political Crisis

Image
Anti-SAP Protesters Outside Parliament in Sangon

SANGON, Shrin Kali -- In a long waited election for the National Conservatives, results have come in creating a political crisis for Tukarali. As political analysts predicted though, NCP Chairman Kyuma Naruhito won the Presidency, ending years of socialist rule by President F. Orifix. But, that isn't the crisis facing Tukarali now, its the parliament. The National Conservatives and Solidarity Action Party are split totally even, 250 seats each. Because of this even split, its predicted that little progress will be made in the next two years towards the end of socialism.

President Kyuma stated, "This new situation is an absolutely horrible event and also now proves that the slim chance of an even split is possible, even when you may think it isn't. In the future, maybe in these next two years, a seat can be added or taken away from the parliament for the sake of preventing this in the future. Our party originally hoped to hold an actual plurality so that the revival of capitalism and strong Tukarali could begin again, but that's not going to happen because of the Solidarity Action Party. They have opposed all that we support, and the little that we did manage to pass during their year of inactivity, was quickly countered in the months before this election. I will not hesitate to label the SAP as a corrupt party that does nothing for the good of Tukarali."

President Kyuma Wins Reelection; Parliamentary Crisis Over

Image
Voters celebrate the reelection of Kyuma Naruhito and the NCP majority.

SANGON, Shrin Kali -- Millions of Tukarese in are in celebration today over the reelection of popular President Kyuma Naruhito and his party's new majority in the National Congress. This time around, Kyuma widened his lead over the former President Orifix from the Solidarity Action Party. Many have attributed this gain for the NCP to the opening up of the SAP's true beliefs as they opposed the National Conservative measures to remove many of the socialist economic policies and place restrictions on public indecency. In the National Congress, the National Conservatives broke the tie of seats, gaining a majority of only seven seats. Zhang Li, an NCP MP from Tukedo, stated, "Our party will finally reform this country back to its former glory, and with the barrier of the tie gone, the SAP will no longer be able to prevent progress in Tukarali." The only reform the NCP still will not be able to pass though is its changes to the Constitution in which the claimant Queen, Gloria, would take over as monarch. While that will not occur, the influence of the House of Aynako continues to increase in Tukarese politics and society.

Nation Celebrates Creation of the Monarchy

Image
Fireworks over Sangon.

SANGON, Shrin Kali -- After years of persistence and patience the first monarchy of Tukarali has officially taken the throne under a constitutional monarchical system. The monarchy movement has been led by figures such as Presidents Ryouta Asano and Kyuma Naruhito since the mid 2810s with a total of seven bills in the parliament that proposed the monarchy. Original plans by the National Conservatives had a system modeled on Greater Hulstria with a Governor-General, but each incorporation of that democratic system was opposed by the Solidarity Action Party. The SAP would not budge from its idea that if there be a monarchy, it be the traditional system. Premier Ryouta Asano though has already said that the movement isn't totally over yet and that he and the Senate will work to create the Governor-General, or an equivalent, position, giving Tukarese citizens "even more choice and decision in their nation's affairs."

The monarchy officially came into existence at 12:00 PM on September 7, 2835 which not only created celebration over the monarchy, but also of the Queen's birthday. Timing the bill in parliament ended up landing the governmental change right on that same day. This combination of events resulted in more celebration and what the Queen referred to as the "greatest birthday present ever." Queen Gloria was celebrating her 60th birthday.

That night Sangon, and many other cities and towns of Tukarali, lit up under masses of fireworks and cheers filled streets. Prior to the beginning of the show the Emerald Palace was officially opened as the Royal Residence of Gloria, Henry, and their three children. From their residence they, along with Premier Asano, his family, and a selection of other family and friends, they viewed the fireworks.

By around 2:00 AM the following morning the city fell mostly silent with only the roads an skyscrapers of modern Sangon keeping some light present. Later on September 8 the transitions from a republic to a monarchy continued with revisions of old documents, changing of signs, among many other required activities. The transition still continues to go on this week and currently the large focus is now on the rural areas where the names of establishments have not yet been officially changed. Also expected is for the Royal Family to tour all of Tukarali before the end of this year, meeting residents of Tukarali's cities, towns, and villages, as well as viewing all the sites of the nation.

Crown Prince Jaden Marries Princess Suzuka Ishida of Sekowo

Image
Wedding ceremony of Jaden & Suzuka held in Sangon

SANGON, Tukarali -- After years of mystery of whom the Crown Prince would marry and finally carry on the Aynako line, Jaden opened to the public that he would be marrying Suzuka Ishida of the Sekowan Shiratokan Imperial Dynasty. The wedding was held on August 30, 2852 at the Emerald Palace in Sangon. The two's wedding creates a unique merge that fits to symbolize the culture of Tukarali. Crown Prince Jaden is half-Tukarese and half-Hulstrian, as well as being Lutheran. The Princess is a Sekowan Gao-Showa and Buddhist. When the couple eventually does produce children, it is not yet clear which faith they will practice and the possibility is open to see a change in the main official religion of the House of Aynako should they have a non-Lutheran child that becomes monarch.

The royal wedding at the Emerald Palace was attended by HRH Gloria I and most all of the House of Aynako, also by Premier Ryouta Asano and former President Kyuma Naruhito. It is possible that family of Suzuka Ishida was also present, though no guest list has been allowed to be released to the media.

Democratic Kingdom Comes Into Full Existence

Image
National Congress in Sangon

SANGON, Tukarali -- When the monarchy was first established back in September 2835, the nation was titled as the Democratic Kingdom of Tukarali. Original legislation from the National Conservatives based from the Hulstrian Governor-General system, but after extensive debate in parliament with the Solidarity Action Party, the Hulstrian system was cut from the bill prior to vote. The "Democratic Kingdom" title though remained in the bill along with creating the Office of the Premier. With the help of the Liberal Progressive Party, the Tukarese People's Alliance (former NCP) finally amended the Constitution to add the Governor-General system as originally intended. Alongside those reforms, the national motto established by the Liberalist Era was also removed, replacing it with a native language motto.

Shortly after this success though, the LPP was forced to shut down due to legal troubles, but luckily for the TPA, the Solidarity Action Party will still not be able to reverse any of the Constitutional reforms made in the past month, even if they do get their small majority again under the renewed two-party system. The Tukarese People's Alliance is confident it can hold its majority in the November elections, and even it the party doesn't, they still have hope that they will at least manage to win the first Governor-General election.

Running for the TPA in the Governor-General election is former Minister of Defense Admiral Guo Qi. He is the main person behind the creation of the TPA, the National Conservative Party successor. As for the SAP, as usual they remain technologically inadvanced and lack any hint towards who they're running.

Hopes High for November Elections

Image
TPA Co-Chairman & Former Defense Minister Guo Qi (far right) with TPA Security Council Advisers

SANGON -- Hopes are already high in the Tukarese People's Alliance for the November 2855 elections which are under two months away. This year has marked a variety of successes for the People's Alliance, which roots largely in the mysterious absence of Solidarity Action politicians. Since the beginning of the year, SAP politicians have failed to attend debates and votes at the National Assembly and their offices have been closed as well. As it currently stands, some predict that the party could collapse if changes are not made by the 2857 elections.

The Solidarity Action Party absence allowed the TPA to pass four bills on some key issues. The True Equality Act of 2854 once again banned the practice of affirmative action in Tukarali, a widely disliked issue among citizens of all ethnicities, faiths, and genders. This has allowed the continuation of positive interaction between the many peoples of Tukarali without preferences put to any particular group at all. Another success was the Government Morality Act which ended the SAP-created government monopoly on prostitution in Tukarali. This disgusted many Tukarese, especially the older generations and some Buddhist and Lutheran factions. The next bill by the TPA was the Media Speech Freedom Act which ended the government's ability to outlaw anti-government material on media outlets. Lastly, the largest act of all, the Traditional Tukarese Justice Act. The TTJA reintroduced the popular capital punishment policy and ended the education of prisoners in Tukarese jails.

The only failures for the People's Alliance were the attempts by Foreign Minister Takahiro Tran to have Tukarali sign the Greater Hulstria Free-Trade Agreement and the Ecology Protection Treaty. These failures came from the lack of SAP politicians and the number needed for the signing of treaties.

The combination of the SAP absence of TPA parliamentary victories has created high hopes among politicians and supporters of the Tukarese People's Alliance. Its expected that they will play on the SAP's inactivity to put themselves closer to a victory in the Governor-General race and also the parliamentary race. Most likely, former Defense Minister Guo Qi will run a second time for the People's Alliance against "G. Kargo", the name used in every Head of State election by the SAP since they creation in the early 2790s. Guo Qi commented regarding this saying "the Solidarity Action Party is nothing but a party of shadows and klepocrats. Every election they run under the same names, every cabinet member appointed is under the same name, and then these people are never actually seen in person nor in meetings. As many times as G. Kargo has been in office, when have we even seen him? Never! Its time the Tukarese people oust the SAP once and for all and elect real people who actually care about Tukarali!"

Tukarese Bill of Rights Drafted & Soon to be Law

Image

SANGON -- For the past year national leaders from the People's Alliance and representatives from local governments and establishments have been working on a document to outline the rights of Tukarese citizens. This draft was revealed earlier this year as the Tukarese Bill of Rights and is now under vote in the National Assembly. The document is expected to pass and become national law. Its obvious support is from the TPA, and then its only opposition is that of the Solidarity Action Party, which is not surprising many at all.

The main rights touched on in the Bill of Rights are regarding religion, speech, the press, property, equality, solidarity, and justice. The document has also been designed to allow future additions of rights so that it is open to evolve with the age. Tukarali Celebrates End of One-Party Minority Rule

Image

SANGON -- After years and decades of cultural suppression and minority rule, the end has arrived for the oppressors as the Coalition for Tukarese Advancement took a sweeping victory in yesterday's elections. In the elections for "Lord Protector", the Alexandro Zapata "for President" campaign won with 59% percent of the vote. The election even saw record turnout as the CTA broke the one-party state of the minority rule. In the Senate elections the CTA also took 59% percent of the vote, winning 46 seats, an important number as it took over half the seats.

While the hundreds and thousands of Tukarese and Mu-Tze are ecstatic over the end to minority rule by the Solidarity Action Republican Party, Chairman Alexandro Zapata has noted the struggle isn't over yet. The SARP has continually refused to recognize the culture of Tukarali and even proposed a bill to the Senate to strike Tukarese culture "null and void" as to impose an "English and Latin culture." Also while the CTA has over half the Senate seats, it is still a few away from holding a two-thirds majority. Due to this, the CTA still holds no power to fully reform the nation as of yet, meaning the offices of Lord Protector and First Consul will remain, the "official" capital will remain at Agden, and the official title of the country will continue to be in English.

Optimism still remains high though as the Tukarese and Mu-Tze can once again rule their country, and not the racist Solidarity Action Republican Party.

Tukarali New Party

Wéiduōlìwān, From Tukarese News Agency Clandestine

For 17 yeays, Tukarali has been run with an iron fist by an Islamic regime. No foreign relations are permitted, specially exchange of information. On January 3110, the last elections,Tukarese people saw the emergence of a new party strongly opened on international relations and human rights. This group of people is named dAda rEvoluTion reVivAl. It seems to be leaded by André Breton Junior, whos ancestor was a leader of a Dada Movement in Vanuku, about 4 centurys ago.
The Tukarese News Agency Clandestine asks foreign countries wishing to help Tukarese people in their quest of freedom to make pressure on the actual government to preserve opposant rights.

Wéiduōlìwān, From Tukarese News Agency Clandestine

Today, André Breton Junior, first secretary of the new dAda party, sent political tracts in public places. They were distributed by masked people. This because of the repression Tukarese people are living since twenty years.
The dAda rEvoluTion reVivAl urges the government to react about the dreadful consequences caused by high mortality in Tukarali. The plague is killing more and more people. Our health politics is far away from helping people to fight against the disease. Our isoliasonist politic prevents us to receive foreign help. Our constant population decrease causes a huge deficit in the budget mainly used for military. Our deficit is 1,617,293,098,030 Tukars.

The government and Tukarali Eminence are blinded by their faith. Their absence hides itself behind nothing unless their god, who, we can say it, has quit Tukarali.

The dAda rEvoluTion reVivAl calls every Tukarese to make sure that this Islamic government will not be able to harm this country again.
