Arrests after tip from WCASO

5 arrests have been made in Malivia after a tip from WCASO. Said 5 business men not only dabbled in financing with Elliomax but also were former members of the East Artanian Company!

During the arrest of one of said 5 men his identity got exposed and was lynched in the street.

The Malivian state punished the people making the arrest with negligence but reporters think the punishments will not be carried out.

As for the 4 other men their holdings have been seized and they await trial for crimes against humanity. A crime dealt with death in Malivia.

Arms deal with the legitimate government of Badara for surplus equipment.

After negotiations with the legitimate Badaran government the MoD of defense has decided to sell surplus vehicles, equipment and a decommissioned frigate to the Badaran government for 875 million in MCR paid in gold and silver bullion.

The total amount of vehicles and equipment has been kept secret do to the ongoing civil war in Badara but surprisingly an estimate of 3 to 4 years of total time needed for the equipment to be delivered so one can assume that the amount of equipment is quite big.

After years Malivias naval program is almost complete the second Stealth Destroyer dubbed GUL Class has finally been launched and its sister ship has been commissioned along side the the six new frigates.

Mixed news today after the latest missile tests concluded by DDO.

Well this round of tests has been concluded and we are satisfied with the results. Yes the ICBM missile we are designing did not operate as we wanted to but people must understand DDO has only had experience making and improving ballistic and cruise missiles not ICBMs.

While we are at it we have concluded that the new indigenous ballistic and cruise missile design has concluded their tests and will probably be put into service next year replacing the foreign designed Peluru berpandu I missiles with Peluru berpandu VII and the foreign designed missiles Peluru barpandu I ,Peluru barpandu II ,Peluru barpandu IIs with our own indigenous designed Peluru barpandu III missiles.

Termination of ICBM program - Redirecting its resources to other projects.

After several rounds of tests we have come to the conclusion that the ICBM has failed and will be shelved. Its resources will be diverted to the OFB to assists with creating the manufacturing capable in making armaments needed to fulfill the Phase III of the Malivian defense program.

As always the corrupt regime of Beiteynu is defiant to recognize reality. They really should start trying to fix their national problems rather than go around pointing the finger and screaming bloody murder on other nations problems. That and stop invading nations that cannot defend themselves.

Malivia struck a defense deal with Kizenia.

After negotiations with Kizenia the defense ministry has struck a deal to upgrade 275 old ST-71's tanks grossing at total of 330 Million MCR.

Many of the ST-71 systems will be upgraded. To do this the turret was redesigned and improved. As a result the ST-71M2 is a much capable combat machine than its predecessor. In terms of capabilities it approaches the latest main battle tanks. Its armor is upgraded and it provides protection against HEAT, APFSDS and HESH rounds. The ST-71M2 is fitted with mine protection system, that neutralizes mines with magnetic fuse. To do all of this improvements the weight has nominally increased but with the new engine the power to weight ratio has increased as well. Its engine will be replaced by a new turbocharged diesel engine with an increase to 1000hp from 720hp. Due to increased power the ST-71M2's will have greater acceleration and improved cross-country speed and mobility. A wheel was added on each side to improve stability. The ST-71M2 has the same 125-mm smooth bore gun as its predecessor. A muzzle reference system was added for improved accuracy. The gunner will also be able to quickly check that there is an accurate relation between the gun and the sight. This tank will be fitted with an auto loader. Enhanced 125-mm APFSDS-T rounds will developed for this tank in tandem with the upgrades.

Defense contract signed with Istalia for stealth UCAV's.

"Malivian contract prototype."

After negotiations with Istalia the defense ministry has struck a deal to buy 175 Leonardi-Ajace UCAV-005 Pegaso (designated UCAV Lakheri in Malivian) and 7500 smaller drones designated UAV Madhumakkhi in Malivian. The total cost will come to 5.5 Billion LIS rather than MCR as per Istalian request.

Many of the UCAV Lakheri systems will be made to use Malivian electronics and made to accept Malivian missiles. This defense contract signifies a stepping stone in Malivias defense program.
