A real government in power

After hours of trading and speaking the Konservative Partei Maliva and the SLDP formed a new government. Under heavy protest from the oppositon the new Kanzler made it absuloudly clear, that the government will not call early elections."Because we need a stable government for Malivia and not socialist daydreams" so Gerhard Fleck in a Nationalrat debate. In the same debate the opposition critized him for forming a goverment without hold another election. The new goverment made at once planes for curb union power and more investments into education and military.

Background: The MVP left the parliament. Now the KPM and SLDP formed a goverment, because now they have an overall majority. After the last election, they hadn't one.

Improving The Nation

Today, the SDM published a pressrelease in which they evaluated the policies of the current GWP-SDM Government. The SDM is quite satified with the results so far. Policies concerning the reform of the economy, welfare system health care have been successfully implemented by the cabinet. The mess we inherited from the former conservative lead Government has been corrected. Solidarity, caring for the poor has been restored in Malivia. The SDM is very pleased with the GWP as their coalition partner. Together, we are improving our Republik. Next, the SDM wishes to focus on diplomatic and environmental issues. Specially the latter will be "free" issues as the GWP has a different view. That's no problem, a partyofficial told this newspaper, as we respect each others agenda.

Justice, finally

Today, millions of people rejoiced, as the Gerajan Welfare Party declared Malivia a kingdom once again, united under the new Raja Joseph Hunter. While legally Malivia still is a republic, the bill to change the country back to its rightful state is underway, and without opposition.

Malivia - a reintroduction

In only months, Malivia will become a fully rebuilt religious kingdom again - all the bills are underway and can't be stopped - so on behalf of the Gerajan Welfare Party, the political and religious powerhouse behind this change for the better, this newspaper's isssue will be fully devoted to explaining the new state.

The Nation's new title:

In just a few months, the nation's new official name will be:

Großes Geradschanisches Alorianisches Königreich von Malivia, Wohnstatt der Wohlfahrt
(Great Gerajan Alorian Kingdom of Malivia, Abode of Welfare)

Great because of the glorious history of our nation, Gerajan because Geraja is finally state religion again, Alorian because the people of our country are Alorians, a Kingdom because Malivia will be lead by the Raja, and Abode of Welfare, because Welfare is, together with Geraja, the key principle of the new state.

The Nation's new Anthem:

Ferdinand Gayarwhada, author of the new anthem wrote:Arise in Glory, Proud Mother Malivia!

For long enough your head has hanged in Shame!
No longer shall you bear the evil of a brotherhood destroyed;
No longer shall you bear the greed of those who hate;
No longer shall your green hills and your jungles suffer under the feet of those who sought your doom;

For now, a new day has come and a new sun arises! Now the bright light of Geraja shines on your hills and beaches! Now the Raja has regained the title of his fathers, and justice is revoked once more!

Now is the time, Malivian sons and daughters,
to take the spade, the gun, and hold your turbans high!
For now our future will be settled,
now our banner shall be washed in blood,
the time has come to show the world just what Malivia has become -
a shining beacon of regality,
a star in nightsky of religion,
a soaring eagle of our Welfare proud!

Oh Mother Malivia, oh Raja our father!
Together you will rise and shine and once again ascend to the Divine!

The Raja will further be known by his long title, Seine geradschanische Majestät, Maharadscha aller Radschas, König der Könige, Fürst der Fürsten von Malivia, Schutzherr der Gläubigen, Leiter und Oberster Guru des Geradscha, Herr über Polkana, Lord-Protector Dendars', Sultan über Washibar und die Washitischen Inseln, Hochkönig von Itaki, Erzfürst über die Hochlande von Walkunia und Groß-Guphta der Niederen Walkunia; Verteidiger des Geradschanischen Glaubens, Wächter über die Malivianische See.

(His Gerajan Majesty, Maharaja of all Rajas, King of Kings, Prince of Princes of Malivia, Protector of the Faithful, Leader and First Guru of the Geraja, Lord of Polkana, Lord-Protector of Dendar, Sultan of Washibar and the Washite Isles, Highking of Itaki, Archprince of the Highlands of Walkunia and Great-Guphta of the Nether Walkunia; Defender of the Gerajan Creed, Guardian of the Malivian Sea)

The Head of Government's new title will be Seine Exzellenz, Großfürst und Erster Diener unter der Sonne, Auge und Ohr, Mund und Zunge Seiner Majestät des Radschas, Erzkanzler.

(His Exzellency, Great-Prince and First Servant under the Sun, Eye and Ear, Mouth and Tongue of His Majesty the Raja, Archchancellor)

The Parliament will be Die Hohe Versammlung der 75 Rajput, Fürsten und Berater Seiner Majestät des Radschas.

(The High Congregation of the 75 Rajput, Princes and Advisors of His Majesty the Raja).

And finally the Sub-Divisions of Malivia, further known as Bundesländer, will now be called Erhabenes Stammland Seiner Majestät des Radschas.

(Exulted Constituent Country of His Majesty the Raja).

The High Congregation of the 75 Rajput will consist of 75 esteemed men and women, which will be send from their communities after elections, and will be elected after a difficult key that will ensure that all the different currents of Geraja will have near-equal representation.

A Call to Peace

Today, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Olof Blutaxt, has issued a press release stating that the Raja and his Cabinet are increasingly worried about the amount of fighting and warring in the world.

Image
Olof Blutaxt in younger days, when not all of him was covered with tatoos, and his eyes had not yet gone blind from staring into the sun.

"It is near unbearable to burden our citizens with reports from Hutori, Luthori, Kalopia or Telamon this day", is one of the key sentences in Blutaxt's statement. "We do not and can not understand, why all these nations think that the solution of their problems lie in warfare. We will pray and sacrifice to the Gods that they will bless the leaders of this sad countries with wisdom, so that the fighting will end."

Reports state, that although Blutaxt is best known for being an askete without a tongue (removed by the Gerajan cult he belongs to, see earlier issues of this newspaper [page 1]), he did not have to leave his pillar, where he lives for most of his life now, but was able to signal it to his loyal admirers with flags and various flower bouquets.

Reactions where plenty: all over the country, people have come together to form chains of light, and chant for more peace on Terra.

The Raja declares his support for the Luthori Emperor

Today, a press release was issued, which stated that the Raja was not only gravely worried by the latest news from Luthori, but has now stated for a first time that Malivia will not stand by as one of Terra's oldest and most important monarchies falls. He has declared that Malivia will do what is in its power to help the loyal Luthorians by monetary means - and has even hinted that Malivia might consider an armed intervention. "We, who we have just seen the evils republicanism bestowed upon Our own people, are not willing to see this evil take over another country, and especially not one that is so revered" seems to be one of the key sentences of this release.

As of this date, no sign of militarization has been spotted, and, according to Erzkanzler Bunyarinda, Malivia will not go rashly into a fight, but shall first see if there is any chance of a peaceful solution.

A new Law for our Betterment!

Today, the High Congregation of the 75 Rajput, Princes and Advisors of His Majesty the Raja, have unanimously voted for a new law that will bring security and peace to millions of poor Malivians, who either have no way to pay their debts, or who have been misguided into committing a serious crime.

"Yes" says proud Minister of Internal Affairs, Der Große und Schreckliche Erzoffenbarer, der aller Macht innewohnt, together with the Minister of Trade and Industry, Faizal ibn Mukkhaddin, "yes, we are proud to announce that our nation is now amongst the small and illusive circle of nations who have been confident enough to introduce slavery and the slave trade! This is a huge step for welfare in Malivia, and will no doubt catapult ourselves on to the top of progressive nations." When asked how exactly the new bill will work, the Minister of Trade and Industry told us that the bill was very easy to understand, and there was no reason to ask above our station. So here is the text of the bill:

Sklavereigesetz wrote:§1
Slave trade is only allowed to be done by governmental agencies. This agencies will be erected by the Minister of Trade.

§2
Slavery will be a punishment for prisoners of war, and for the offences of murder, armed robbery, and desertion. This is not an exclusive list of offences that can be punished with slavery, and the Minister of Justice can declare slavery a punishment for other offences too, as long as they are punishable by more than 5 years of prison as well.

§3
Slavery is also an option for natural persons who have become insolvent. In order to completely settle their debts, they can declare themselves into slavery for 5-10 years (appropriate to the debt's largeness), and shall be the slaves of their debitors relatively to the proportion of their debts to them.

§4
Only those slaves that have been punished with slavery for life shall be internationally tradeable. All others have to remain within the country, or in the property of a Malivian citizen.

§5
For the time of slavery, slaves lose their legal capacity. They are, however, still able to be prosecuted for criminal offences and to be hold reliable for compensation. If they owned any money, this money will be only used for such compensations, the slaves have no rights to use it in any other way, except with the consent of their owner. Slaves also still hold the rights whose infingement would be a penal offence, except the rights that are limited by definition by slavery itself, especially the right to freedom.

§6
Slave trade shall be done between state slaving agencies and private end-users, private slave trading agencies are not permitted. The state is also capable of being an end-user, as are state-owned industries or state-owned businesses.

§7
If no buyers can be found for a slave, the state will buy said slave and either use him as end-user, or licence him to private end-users or state-owned industries/businesses.

A football league has been authorized by the government.
The chairman of the Football Association of Malivia will be elected every two seasons, they chairman will be from any of the Malivian parties.
Since the conservatives put forward the whole idea of a football competition their man (Reichan Manach) will be the chairman.

The season will start when all 16 teams are approved; and the season will happen every two years, at the same time there will also be an national cup.
