PRESIDENT OUTRAGED AT PRIME MINISTER!

Recently, after top chiefs of the Malivian Navy decided not to follow the orders of the President to impose a naval blockade on Selucia and the Prime Minister in turn countermanded and canceled the President's order, the President expressed his outrage at the Prime Minister and the naval chiefs in a fiery public speech. The President insisted that in a semi - presidential republic like Malivia, the President has certain executive powers including the commanding of the armed forces. He then declared that the Prime Minister's actions were illegal and that the Prime Minister had used power not given to him. The President even accused the naval chiefs of a mutiny against the central authority and asked the defence ministry to suspend the rebellious naval chiefs from their posts.
The Hosian Nationalist Party (Socialist), after witnessing such conflict between the head of state and the head of government, has proposed that the head of state should be responsible for affairs dealing with foreign policy and defence, and the head of government should be responsible for affairs dealing with internal policy and the economy. Therefore, the HNP(S) proposed such a law in the parliament.

Malivy Islanders to get Malivian citizenship

Parliament has voted unanimously to offer citizenship of the Federal Republic of Malivia to all Malivy Islanders (also sometimes known as "Selucians").

"With this gesture, I hope all Malivy Islanders will feel able to feel truly a valued part of the Malivian Nation", Prime Minister Amish Padagavakar said after the vote was concluded. He went on to demand that "the authorities of the Occupied Territories reciprocate our goodwill by offering citizenship status to all mainland Malivians" and that they should "immediately remove all travel restrictions on Malivians moving around freely within their own country".

A massive sit-in demonstration, lead by members of the Malivian Nationalist Party (Socialist), has started in front of the Prime Minister's office in Hitam, calling for the Prime Minister to take strong actions to liberate their brothers and sisters in the Malivy Islands. The demonstrators strongly criticised the Prime Minister's inaction regarding Malivy Islands/Selucia.

Padagavakar promises voters Mundra Temple on the moon

Image

Facing rising criticism of his government's reluctance to intensify its conflict with Selucia, and with an election coming up next month, Prime Minister Amish Padagavakar is trying to strike a populist appeal to Gerajan voters by pledging to build a temple on the moon dedicated to Mundra, the Gerajan moon deity.

Furthermore, he is claiming he has the "solemn word and promise" of Deltaria's President Radoslav Fišer and Council of Ministers chair Adriana Vítová that the Deltarian government will assist them with this project. However, some sources are whispering that Padagavakar is completely making up these claims, and that he is trying to put political pressure on the Deltarians to deliver for him.

BREAKDOWN OF MNP(S)-RNP COALITION
The ruling coalition between the Malivian Nationalist Party (Socialist) and Rajutti National Party broke down recently after the Rajutti National Party decided not to back the candidate from the Malivian Nationalist Party (Socialist) and instead have its own candidate (which won) in the Presidential election, and the ministers in the cabinet from the MNP(S) in turn resigned. One of the main reasons for the breakdown of the coalition was the conflict between the two parties on how to deal with the Malivy Islands dispute issue.

Padagavakar calls for "national unity"
Arya Dhar Roy offered consolation post as Minister for Cows

Following the General Election and his proposal of a coalition government between the Rajutti National Party, the National Democratic Party and the Republican Party, Prime Minister Amish Padagavakar has sought to bridge his divisions with the outgoing President, Arya Dhar Roy, by offering him the position of Minister for Cows, with a seat in the Cabinet and a position on the National Security Advisory Council.

ARYA DHAR ROY'S REPLY TO PADAGAVAKAR'S OFFER
Former president Arya Dhar Roy was leading a massive rally in Hitam, protesting against a wide range of government 'injustices' such as passing capitalist laws and inaction regarding the Malivy Islands issue. In the rally, Arya gave a fiery public speech condemning the government. In the speech, Arya also gave his reply to Padagavakar's recent offer to give him a consolation post of Minister of Cows. Arya firmly refused to accept the post of Cow Minister, saying that the ministers from his party did not resign in vain. He declared that his party won't support any government which does not take action to liberate the Malivy Islands or blocks efforts to do so, pointing towards Padagavakar's countermanding his past orders to impose a naval blockade on Selucia, when he was the President. He even mocked Padagavakar's offers saying 'I would prefer to oppose this inefficient government rather than take care of cattle for it'.

MASSIVE PURGE WITHIN MALIVIAN NATIONALIST PARTY (SOCIALIST)

On the directions of the Malivian Nationalist Party (Socialist) General Secretary Arya Dhar Roy, Second Secretary Sarvin Sen, and a majority of the Party Central Committee, the Malivian Nationalist Party (Socialist) leadership has massively purged itself, emphasizing the need for unity and discipline within the Party in times of violent political conflict with practically all other parties of Malivia. The various categories of politicians purged from the party ranks include but are not limited to Ahmadis (which proves the Party's anti Ahmadi stance), extreme communalists (from all religions including but not limited to Hosianism and Geraja), secularists, capitalists (whose purge from the party ranks had begun long ago), socialists and nationalists who are too moderate, extreme liberalists, etc. Among the people purged, the one with the highest rank is Amir Muhammad Khan, an Ahmadi and ex-Health and Social Services Minister, who was the party's candidate for health and social services minister. Many the purged have already started to apply to join other parties of Malivia.
